She walked into the precinct towards Ryan and Esposito, who were trying to do origami and failing horribly.

"wow BC late again you and castle sure are enjoying married life?"

She gave them both a glare "I overslept" and Esposito tuned to Ryan

"uh huh" and at that Kate just walked to her seat

"don't you guys have anything better to do, like work?" she asked as Ryan threw yet another failed attempt into the garbage

"nope we finished our paper work and there's no case, so now we're entertaining ourselves." He teased.

Then captain Montgomery's door flew open and he walked out to them taking a double look at the mess the boys had made and decided he didn't want to know.

"if there's no case by lunch you can go home and hopefully we will still have paper." rolling his eyes as Ryan and Esposito smiled sheepishly at him.

Montgomery just shook his head and walked back in to his office, she looked down at her watch only three hours to go. Kate spent one hour finishing her

paperwork, Lanie came up sitting in castle's chair and when she looked up laine's eyes widened "girl you look like you're barely awake" she gave a long yawn

and sat up straight.

"I'm fine" and Lanie let it go knowing her best friend would never admit to being tired.

"can you and writer boy meet us at the old haunt by7:00 please Javi and I want to tell you guys something." Kate nodded her head.

They chatted for a while then Kate heard the elevator ding and she instinctively looked towards it and smiled seeing her 9 year old on a sugar rush. He walked

briskly occasionally stopping to talk to some of the officers so she started to pack up.

"Ready to go? "he asked

"Yea I'm just gonna go tell Captain I'm leaving then we can go."

He was talking to the boys when she returned, probably making plans for their next poker, video and pizza night. Finally they left for the elevator for some

reason she felt like she could eat a cow.

In the elevator he put his arms around her and kissed her forehead, "what do you feel like eating?"

she taught for a moment "How about a Hawaiian slice pizza and pineapple juice? i'm in the mood for pineapples." Castle had never seen his wife so hungry in

his life she had eaten three slices of pizza two pineapple juices and a slice of pineapple upside down cake.

And as soon as they got home Kate grabbed his shirt and kissed him but just when things were getting heated.

"don't mind me kiddies I'm leaving" Martha said and Kate quickly pulled away "we were just..."

"i know what you were doing dear" she blushed and when they made it upstairs and onto the bed Kate fell asleep.

It was 6:00 when castle woke her up "wow you were sleepy." she slowly sat up.

"I was but I didn't do anything to make me tired."
