Chapter Nine

Green Ranger Tommy was able to school his expression before the Red, Black, Yellow, Blue, and Pink Power Rangers arrived.

"Tommy," the Red one called.

They were searching for him.

"Tommy," the Yellow one said. "Tommy."

"Look, he's over there," the Blue Ranger said noticing the Green Ranger.

The Green Ranger wanted to laugh. They had no idea that he was not their Tommy. He was wearing different clothes, green, and his hair was worn differently. How could they not be suspicious?

"What's going on?" the Pink Ranger asked and Tommy focused on her.

"Yeah, what's up, Tommy?" the Green Ranger barely heard the Red Ranger say.

"I'm not too sure," he answered with fake worry in his voice. "Zordon said we should all meet here."

"Alright, let's contact him and see what's happening," Blue suggested.

"No, I mean," Evil Tommy stopped the Blue Ranger from contacting their mentor. "He game us our orders, right?"

"Tommy's right," the Black Ranger said believing the Green Ranger completely. "Zordon must have a reason."

The Wizard interrupted the Rangers' meeting with an wicked laugh. The team turned to see the baddy up in a nearby tree.

"You fools are so easily deceived," he taunted.

"Quick, let's morph," the Black Ranger suggested.

"No," the Green Ranger said.

"Tommy, what's going on?" the Blue Ranger asked.

"You're way too late," the Green Ranger said to the Rangers.

"Tommy, no," the Pink Ranger gasped. She could not believe this was happening again. "Tommy, what's going on?"

"He's turning on us, that's what," Rocky said. He had never seen the Evil Green Ranger before. It was all so unbelievable that a nice guy like Tommy could become their enemy.

"It doesn't matter now," the Wizard said knowing that it was not their Tommy who betrayed them. He holds up his scepter and the Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, and Pink Power Rangers were swept away and out of time.

The Wizard laughed. He was certain the Power Rangers would not be able to survive the trip and even if they did, they would not be able to survive living in colonial Angel Grove.

Green Ranger Tommy was silent. He was furious. He did not even get the chance to ask for the Pink Ranger.

"If they survive," his creator spoke. "They will have to live with their leaders betrayal. Oh, the torture their minds will be in."

"Why did you have to send them all back?" The Green Ranger shouted at the Wizard interrupting his gloating.

The Wizard turned to him and sneered then laughed.

"You wanted to play with them," he said knowingly. "That was not the plan. You can have your fun with the White Ranger."

Evil Tommy stared down at the ground.

"I don't want him," he said in a small voice.

The Wizard stared at his creation for a moment before realizing what he really wanted.

"It was the Pink one. You wanted her for your own. You are so much like the real Tommy," the Wizard said not bothering to ask because he was so certain he knew the answer.

He circled the Green Ranger as if he were his prey.

"Do you really believe she would pick you over him?" the Wizard teased.

"I would not give her the choice," Tommy said darkly.

The Wizard laughed again. He enjoyed the thought of his creation forcing himself on the Pink Power Ranger.

"Maybe, if you succeed in your other tasks, I will bring her back for you."

The Green Ranger's eyes brightened. He knew it was more than likely an empty promise, but the promise of a reward was to tempting.

"Of course," he said with a bow. "I will not fail you."

The Wizard laughed in triumph. Soon, all of the Power Rangers, but his own, would be gone and this world conquered. Every thing was going perfectly.
