Thanks for the reviews they really do make me update faster, it's almost time for Kate to get her baby girl but I don't really know what to name her I was thinking Isabella Johanna Castle, but if you have any Ideas let me know.
One month later Kate and Alexis headed into the nursery with paint. And after several sighs she put down her paintbrush, "You're in love with Ashley aren't you?"
Alexis blushed "Uh yea I think so but I don't know how to tell him, and I don't know if he loves me too."
Kate dipped her brush in the blue glow in the dark paint again and continued to paint her butterfly, "Wait until it's the right time then tell him, but don't wait too long or you'll end up like you're dad and I were."
Alexis added another flower to her tree thinking about Kate had said, "But what if I say it and he isn't ready?" Kate smiled comfortingly and turned to her "Any guy that works to take you to Draugo , probably loves you and if he isn't ready you can choose to wait or move on."
Alexis gave her a smile "I am so glad you're the one that's having my dad's baby and you're the one that's my ... new mom, because I love you like a mom. "A tear fell down Kate's eye and Alexis panicked "Oh I'm sorry Kate I didn't mean to make you cry if..." but Kate cut her off.
"No it's these darn hormones, Alexis I am so happy to hear you say that, because I love you too."
Alexis looked up "You do, because if it isn't overstepping will you do me the honour of letting me call you mom, it does not feel right calling you Kate anymore."
Kate smiled pulling her into a hug "Of course you can that would make me very happy."
When Castle heard Alexis call Kate mom He smiled, he was glad that she had finally accepted a woman to be her mother figure, and he was even happier that she had chosen Kate, the woman he was going to spend the rest of his life with.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OO
At seven months Kate was absolutely nervous about the arrival of her baby, She stood in the nursery looking through the window knowing that she could see out but no one could see in, Rick said it was a good idea for when she was nursing or putting the baby to sleep. She sat in the rocking chair behind her so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't notice when Martha walked in.
"You okay dear? You look a bit tense." Kate turned from the window to face her.
"I'm fine" she gave an unsure answer, but Martha didn't give up she had learnt from her son that when Kate brought up her walls you couldn't give up.
"Kate please don't shut me out now, I know it's hard for you to express your feelings but please." Kate looked up the tears glistening in her eyes.
"I'm afraid I'll screw this up and make a bad mother." That statement shocked Martha.
"How can you say that? You are a great person and that is enough to make you a great mother and you're already a great mother to Alexis."
"Yea, but I only met her two years ago when she was a teenager, you guys rose her ."
Martha smiled "Honey raising a teenager is the hardest part."
Kate stopped crying you probably think I'm such an idiot, to be thinking like this."
"No it's not, when I first got Richard I stayed with my mother for seven weeks because I was afraid, and even though my mother wasn't the best mother I still didn't want to leave. But you have your dad, Alexis, Rick and I to help you every step of the way." They hugged and Martha left her in the room, maybe everything would be alright.

Okay so breast pump, bottles, diapers, clothes, socks, towels, baby comb and brush, baby shampoo, lotion, powder and soap. Kate listed the things as Castle put them on the shelves.
"We have just about everything."She announced dragging the stroller and carseat into the small walking cupboard.
She felt two arms snake around her waist and onto her stomach, she smiled when the baby fluttered at the familiar touch, by now she had a nice, firm, round stomach and Lanie continued to tell her that she had the smallest, cutest pregnant belly ever, even though she felt huge. She could barely see her feet anymore but she only had one month to go, and hopefully she wouldn't get as bad as Lanie who was absolutely killing Esposito every night and free time of his day to go into early labour.
And now she finally felt excited to hold her baby girl in her arms, hold her little hands and talk to her, but her thoughts were interrupted when Castle walked in with her cellphone that was ringing. It was Lanie.
"Katharine Castle get your tiny butt at this hospital right now, I'm in labour!"
