Chapter Fifteen
Back in the present day, the Wizard of Deception was giving the Green Ranger further instruction.
"Ah, you have done well Green Ranger," he praised and Evil Tommy practically glowed with pride. "It is now time to begin the destruction. I shall go back in time to keep the other rangers occupied."
The Wizard vanished leaving the Green Ranger to do his bidding.
The Green Ranger took pride in what he was about to do. He was going to enjoy seeing Angel Grove fall into rumble and the hands of his zord.
"Dragonzord, your time has come to awaken and serve your new master," he called before he used his Dragon Dagger to summon the sword.
In the past outside of Uncle Ben's cabin. The five Power Rangers and Marissa sat relieved that they wouldn't have to run for a while.
"Well, looks like we finally lost those solders," Billy said.
"Yeah, thanks, Marissa," Adam said.
Kimberly watched Marissa blush slightly.
"Rocky, your foot's sticking in my back," Aisha said suddenly.
"Uh, that's not my foot," Rocky admitted staring down at the Yellow Ranger.
Aisha screamed and jumped up from her seated position. She moved quickly from the spot to see a couple of rats against the wall. The others laughed at her misery.
Kim kind of felt sorry for her best friend, but it was sort of funny to see the tough Yellow Ranger become squeamish over a couple of fuzzy animals.
"Don't laugh, I hate rats," Aisha pouted.
"Well, that's good to know," the Wizard of Deception said. "Then you'll especially enjoy what I have planned for you next."
He laughed and the Rangers jumped up. They were all surprised to see him.
"Not, you again," Rocky groaned.
Kim wondered how the Wizard found them and what did he do to Tommy while they were stuck in the past.
"Yes, I just thought I'd bring a bit of news from home. The city's about to be destroyed. Too bad you're not there to see it." The Wizard said.
"You'll never get away with it," Adam exclaimed.
"But, I already have. Now, did someone say something about rats?"
The Wizard used his magic to turn the rats from three cute and fuzzy rodents to three human sized and hideous monsters. They looked ferocious and hungry.
"Guys, I think it's time," Billy said.
"It's morphin time," Rocky exclaimed.
The Power Rangers took out their Power Morphers and tried to morph. They couldn't and not just because they were afraid someone would get hurt, but because they physically couldn't. Their powers weren't working.
"It's not working," Kim said in a frightened voice.
"I hate rats," Aisha said wiggling, wanting to run.
"That's right," Billy said thinking quickly. "We've been transported 200 years before we meet Zordon. We have no powers here."
"We can try to take care of them," Adam said trying to stay positive.
"No, it's too risky," Billy said. "We don't know what they're capable of."
"Ben, Marissa, run," Kim instructed. "Come on."
Ben, Marissa, and the Rangers ran.
"Do you really think you can get away?" The Wizard taunted as he blocked their escape.
They had no choice but to run a different way in hopes of escaping.
Back in the present day, the Green Ranger was still summoning the Dragonzord. He couldn't be happier the way everything was working out for him. The only thing missing was the pretty little Pink Ranger on his arm. He really hoped that once his job was done, the Wizard would bring back Kimberly as a reward for a job well done.
Back in the park, Tommy was still not feeling up to par. He felt faint and dizzy, like he could fall unconscious all the time. His vision was all a blur and his head hurt. It was painful to think and he wanted to find his team to stop the other Tommy.
"Have you guys seen the guys?" Tommy asked Bulk and Skull as he approached them.
"No, have you?" Bulk said mockingly. He and Skull laughed.
"I mean it, Bulk," Tommy said in a harsh voice. "Have you seen them?"
"No, I do not know where those geeks are," Bulk answered honestly.
"And might I add, we don't care," Skull scoffed.
Again, Tommy felt faint. His head bobbed heavily. He wasn't sure how much longer he was going to last.
