Chapter Nineteen

The White and Green Rangers appeared in the middle of colonial Angel Grove. They faced the giant rats.

"One last battle as the Green Ranger," The Green Ranger said and he super kicked a rat. "Alright, who's next?"

Both Tommy's fought valiantly and it wasn't long before the rats were on their backs squirming.

"I think it's time to shrink these guys back to size," The Green Ranger said.

"I think you're right," The White Ranger said before using the Wizard's wand to transform the rats back to normal. "Congratulations on a job well done, but now I think it's time we headed home."

The Green Ranger stared at his double and swallowed. He knew he couldn't return to the future. He had no family, no identity of his own. Everything he was was Tommy Oliver. He wanted to be his own person. He wanted his own place in the world. He felt he would not be able to do that if he returned to the future.

"I can't Tommy," he said. "You said it yourself. Only one of use can exist in the same time."

"Zordan would think of something," the White Ranger said hopefully.

"There's no place for me there. Let me stay here where I can do some good for a change."

The White Ranger knew his twin was right. He couldn't explain to everyone, let alone his parents, that there was another him walking around.

A Solder approached them.

"He's always welcomed to join my regiment," he said obviously impressed by the fighting skills of the newcomer.

"I don't think I'll be needing this anymore," the Green Ranger said looking down at his Power Ranger suit.

"Well, if your mind's made up," the White Ranger said with a touch of sadness to his voice.

He raised the wand once more and used it to transform the Green Ranger into a colonist. Once again, the Green Ranger was no more.

"There you go," he said. "I wish you nothing but luck my friend. I hope it all works out for you. I'll never forget you."

The two teens shook hands.

"You don't have much of a choice. I'm a part of you," the former Green Ranger said with a smile.

"I don't know if the history books are ready for this. Take care." the White Ranger said.

He raised the wand again and transported back to his own time.
