It was now the second day of her weekend the last day she got to enjoy with her family, and they were setting up for poker night with the boys and their wives.
"Wow Castle you really went overboard with the snacks." Kate said looking at the two bags of snacks and two six packs of beer.
"Yea it is our first poker game we've had since before Becca."
She smiled she was glad that he was going to be able to get a break from being Mr. Mom and she was looking forward to spending time with the girls even if she did have a four month old attached to her hip.
And finally the door bell rang and Castle ran to answer it.
"Sup bro?"
"Hey, Castle."
They immediately headed to Castle's new and improved office, and they all rolled their eyes at the same time and they laughed.
"Rick has been waiting for this for weeks now."
"So has Kevin."
"So has Javi."
"Wow you guys are getting big." Kate said to Oliver and Olivia.
"So are you, Max."
Lanie smiled "Of course he is he's eating enough for three."
"So where's your bundle of joy?" Jenny asked as she lead them up the stairs, and there was a loud wail.
"She was asleep." They walked into the nursery and Becca was there kicking her legs and she immediately calmed down when she saw Kate.
She picked her up and she threw a grin at the ladies behind her she attempted to put her to sit among the other children but paused when she felt Becca's hand tangled in her hair she gently untangled them and finally got her onto the play mat and was faced with a very Beckett like glare.
"When did she start doing that?" Lanie asked when Becca broke the glare to grab at Olivia's finger.
"About two days after I started work."
"That glare looks exactly like a smaller version of yours Kate." Jenny said.
"Kate the detective, a mother, never thought I would see the day." Lanie commented.
"When Kevin told me I almost fell of the bed."
Kate smiled at their comments.
"I never thought I would see the day either, but when they handed me that tiny bundle I was instantly in love and I wouldn't trade the stains, the late night, the dirty pampers or the bad looks for anything."
"Me either." Jenny said.
"Same here."

"So who's going first?" Castle asked sharing the cards for the game, this was usually the time where they told their marriage problems and got advice.
"Well right now me and Jenny, our marriage is as clear as crystal, as a matter as fact we are actually trying for a new baby."
"Wow, that's surprising." Esposito said sarcastically.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing it's just that you and honey milk hardly have any problems."
"Castle, do you have anything to share?" Esposito asked when Castle was hardly speaking anymore.
"Actually, yes I do, it started like this."

Flash back 3 weeks ago.
"Kate?" Castle called out to her while looking at the credit card bill.
"Yes, Rick?"
"You bought two jackets last month but I'm not seeing it here, all I see is stuff for Becca and Alexis." He handed her the bill.
"I bought it with my bankcard." She said like if it was the most obvious thing.
"I gave you a credit card for if you or the kids need anything." He said getting slightly annoyed and angry.
"Right and I didn't need the jackets, I wanted them, besides I hardly ever touch my salary."
"Come to think of it you never use your card for any of your stuff." He stood up angrily.
"Really, are we really going to fight about this?" she asked putting her hand on her hip.
"Yea, I guess we are." She was taken aback usually he was one to prevent the fights and he always tried to avoid them. Obviously he was willing to fight for this so she did the first thing that came to mind...
End of flash back.
"She took her shirt off?" Esposito asked not believing his ears.
"Yep and whenever we're about to fight about that she takes her shirt off and 'BOOM' I forget what I was angry about."
The door bell rang and Kate came down to answer it and they all went silent and stared at her.
"What?" she asked suspiciously
"Nothing!" They said in sync and she narrowed her eyes but went to open the door.
"Kate!" Madison greeted walking through the door after giving her a peck on each cheek.
"Sorry I'm late but I had a client to take care of, but I finally brought my new beau to show off."
They had gotten closer to Maddie she even stopped at the precinct to give them cake and pastries.
She left the door opened the door and froze at who her beau was.
"Tom?"
Great just what she needed.
