Eighteen: Wormquake!(part 3)
''Karai please,'' Caitlin said looking at Karai ''listen to him he's telling the truth.'' ''I'm sorry Caitlin, but I know what's right.''
She swung her sword at them, but Tiger Claw blocked her attack. ''What?''
''Master Shredder desires them alive. He wants the pleasure of finishing the turtles and the girl himself.''
''Karai please you don't know what your'e doing!'' said Caitlin, but she ignored her. ''Fine let's deal with the rat first.'' ''Leave him alone Karai,'' Raph shouted ''or your'e gonna answer to me!''
Master Splinter groaned. ''My sons, Caitlin… go now!'' he threw a shriuken that cut their ropes. ''Run.'' Tiger Claw kicked him the stomach, knocking him out.
''Splinter!'' Leo shouted, Caitlin took his hand ''Leo come on!'' ''we gotta come back for him Leo!'' Raph shouted. Tiger Claw started firing at them, and they ran. Karai glared at them, ''don't let them escape!'' Tiger Claw nodded and just as he was about to pounce on them, Mikey threw a smoke bomb and they disappeared.

Meanwhile, April, Casey and Donnie made it back to New York, but were also still captives of the Kraang. ''You will continue marching from the place you are to the place you are not yet.''
''Well at least were back in New York'' said Donnie. ''Didn't they mention feeding us something? I'm hungry'' said Casey.
April shook her head, ''no they said they feed us to something, something called a-''
''Kraathatrogon,'' said Donnie ''which is, actually I have no idea clue what it is.'' ''We can wait around to be eaten, or we can make a move!'' Casey turned around and electrocuted a Kraang droid.
April threw her tessen in another Kraang droid's head and Donnie threw a shrikuken at a pipe, making it foggy so they could escape.
''This way!'' April shouted as they ran through a door with the Kraang still firing at them, ''go, go, go!'' Casey slammed the door behind them and blocked it off with his baseball bat.
They turned around and found themselves in a tunnel. ''Wow, the old nematic subway'' said Donnie. ''Built in the 1800's nobody uses them now.'' Suddenly, they heard something thumping down the tunnel.
''Then what's that gross slobbering sound?'' asked April. ''It sounds worse than Mikey eating pizza.'' They kept walking down the tunnel until they came across a huge room filled with more Kraang and creatures that look like giant worms.
''Those must be the Kraathatrogons'' Donnie whispered. ''Space worms is easier to pronounce'' said Casey. April rolled her eyes at him as she kept her eye on the Kraang. ''Wait a minute,'' said Donnie ''it's the worms, that's what's causing the earthquakes.''
''But why bring them here?'' Casey repiled. ''Look,'' April said as she watched a Kraang droid stick a tube in one of the Kraathatrogons. ''Their milking them? for mutagen?''
That's when Donnie realized something. ''By Darwin's beard, this is where the mutagen comes from fascinating and-''
''disgusting'' said April. Suddenly, a tiny worm appeared behind them, scaring them and Casey whacked it with his hockey stick. ''Kraang, we have been discovered been discovered in the place where that was meant to be undiscovered.''
''Unleash the Kraathatrogon!''
*…*
Back at the lair, Raph, Mikey, Caitlin and Leo sat around while they fixed up their injuries. ''Ow, ow ow!'' Mikey shouted as Leo wrapped the bandage around his hand.
Raph glared at Leo and threw the ice pack he had on his head on the floor, ''this is your fault Leo. If you hadn't called Splinter we wouldn't be in this mess.''
''I didn't have a choice Raph, it was him or Mikey. I-I thought…Sensei would take care of him. ''Well you thought wrong.''
Mikey stood up, ''we know where they took him, Shredder's lair we do this for Splinter. There comes a time brothers, when history is forged like, melted cheese it sticks together as one but is still soft and squishy in the middle.'' Mikey licked his lips, before he noticed Leo, Raph and Caitlin staring at him. ''Are you with me?'' ''Lamest speech ever,'' said Raph ''but, I'm with you Mikey.''
Caitlin looked down at the ground again. She never felt so upset and betrayed in her life. Shredder had her brother and Karai had captured him, what else could she do?
Leo noticed how upset she looked, and walked over to her and wrapped her in a hug. ''Oh Leo they-'' ''don't worry Caitlin,'' he said pulling her closer ''we'll get them both back.'' Caitlin nodded.
They talked about a plan then gathered all their weapons and Mikey grabbed some fireworks. ''Let's do this.''

''Run!'' back to Casey, April and Donnie who were running as fast as they could. The Kraang had unleashed a giant Kraathatrogon on them, and they were pretty much running for their lives. ''Run! faster!'' they ducked under the tracks as the Kraathatrogon raced past them. They looked up, but came face to face with the face on the Kraathatrogon's tail. April screamed, and Donnie smacked it and they started running again. Casey tried to slow it down with one of his spray can grenades, and it worked but not for long and they kept running.
Donnie looked up and saw that there was a ladder straight ahead. He jump ahead and held out his staff. ''April grab on!'' April grabbed the staff, and he pulled her up and then he held out the staff for Casey. ''Jones the staff!'' but Casey never made it. Because the Kraathatrogon swallowed him whole. ''No!'' ''Casey!''
*…*
Back at Shredder's lair, Chris was in deep trouble. The Foot Bots had been torturing him for while now, electrocuting him with electrical rods And Stockman was there watching. ''Bzzt that's enough Foot Bots.''
The Foot Bots backed off as Stockman started interrogating Chris. ''So tell me boy, where is Splinter and the bzzt turtles?''
Chris groaned a little in pain and then replies. ''I don't know any Splinter, but I do know the bzzt turtles. They're a small band being made down the street. They're not that good. but I think they got a future.''
''Don't get bzzt, cocky boy. Tell me where they are.''
''I told you where they are,'' he replied laughing a little. ''Not sure why you are interested in a band. Then again the way you look, I bet anything that sounds bad must be good.''
Stockman let out a buzz in frustration. ''Not a band you stupid boy. The turtles! hated enemy of Master Shredder!''
''Oooooh, damn dog I don't know anything about turtles or the talking cutting appliances'' Chris replied again.
Stockman was getting annoyed. ''Foot Bots! you know what to do.''
Before the Foot Bots could shock him again, another Foot Bot walked into the dungeon and whispered something to Stockman.
''Hmm it seems plans have changed,'' he said to Chris. ''We have captured Splinter bzzt and the Shredder is going to fight him. And the Shredder wants you to join him.''
''They have Splinter huh?'' Chris asked smiling. ''Then perhaps it's time for me to get out of here.''
Chris began speeding his body to phase himself through his restraints and then used his super speed to destroy the robots, then locked Stockman in the cell, and tossed away the key.
''Have fun in the cell, bug man. And don't worry I'll tell the band you are looking for them.'' He then took off.
''Don't let him escape!'' Stockman shouted, but then remember that he destroyed all the Foot Bots. ''Bzzt. Darn it.''

Meanwhile, Leo and Caitlin were sneaking into Shredder's lair. Taking down Foot Bots, and trying to find Master Splinter. ''Leo, there'' said Caitlin.
Leo nodded as he climbed down and shook Master Splinter's shoulder. ''Sensei…'' Master Splinter opened his eyes and looked up, ''Leonardo, go, now!'' suddenly, fire surrounded him as Shredder appeared.
''Leo!'' Caitlin jumped down, but Rahzar grabbed her and Tiger Claw grabbed Leo. ''Hello again my friends.'' Leo swung at him, but Tiger Claw twisted his wrist and slammed him to the ground.
''Let me go!'' Karai grinned, ''I knew you come to us Leo.'' Shredder walked up to them, ''where are the other turtles?''
Tiger Claw sniffed the air. ''It's just these two Master Shredder their alone.I sense no one else.'' Shredder nodded and cut Splinter's ropes. ''Watch turtle, for it is the last fight you'll ever see. The destruction of your'e master Hamato Yoshi.''
''You monster!'' Caitlin shouted, ''stop this!'' she tried to use her powers on him, but because of his helmet it didn't work, and he ignored her.
Splinter slowly got up and shook his head as he tried to focus and tried to dodge Shredder's attacks. ''You can do it Sensei'' said Leo, Caitlin nodded, ''we know you can.''
Master Splinter kept dodging his attacks, until Shredder kicked him in the stomach knocking him off his feet. Leo was shocked, and tried to get to him, ''Sensei!'' Tiger Claw laughed and only held him tighter. ''No!''
As Shredder goes to attack him again, he sees Splinter is gone. Shredder and the others look around confused on what happened, then something knocks Tiger Claw and Razhar down allowing Caitlin and Leo to regroup. Then suddenly, Chris appears behind him with Splinter.
''Attacking someone while he isn't at 100 percent. Shows how much of a coward you really are,'' said Chris as he hands Splinter to Leo. ''You guys okay?''
''We are now,'' said Caitlin ''Thanks Chris.'' ''No problem,'' said Chris. Shredder was shocked. '' Impossible. How did he get out of your'e cell without my men noticing?''
''Hard for them to notice something moving too fast for them to see,'' Chris replied.
Shredder growled, but then noticed something. He realized that the boy had powers and how much he looked like Caitlin and realized that it is Caitlin's brother who he thought died. ''So, your'e the brother I've heard so much about.''
Chris was surprised that Shredder is barely figuring out who he is since he figured Karai would have told him. ''Yeah, I am. And since we got that out of the way your the guy responsible for our parent's death right?''
''Yes I am.''
Chris pulls out his goggles and then turned towards his sister. ''Get Splinter out of here. I got this.''
Caitlin nodded as her and Leo wrapped their arms around him and got him out of there. Shredder was outraged. ''Don't let them escape!'' but before the other could stop him, fireworks appeared out of nowhere and Raph and Mikey showed up. ''Aw yeah rescue time!''
Raph and Mikey quickly raced and helped Caitlin and Leo get Master Splinter out of there, while Tiger Claw, Rahzar, Fish Face, and Karai went after them.
Shredder turned around and saw that Chris hadn't left. ''Looks like your bodyguards are gone. Ready to fight someone on your own without help?''
Shredder laughed, ''you can try boy.''
Chris put his goggles on. ''Okay.'' He used his power to kick Shredder in the chest sending him through his throne breaking it and destroying it.
Shredder groaned but got up and charged for him.

Meanwhile, Caitlin, Raph, Leo and Mikey we sitting around Master Splinter as he rested. Mikey gave him some water, and then he started to meditate. ''Let him rest,'' said Raph ''we'll keep a look out for those goons.''
Which wasn't long. ''Attack!'' Tiger Claw shouted, as the turtles and Caitlin charged. Caitlin wasted no time and charged for Karai. ''Caitlin!'' Leo shouted, but she looked back at him. ''It's ok Leo I got this.''
He nodded, and then was tackled by Tiger Claw. Caitlin glared at her, took out her sword and attacked her.

Meanwhile, back to April and Donnie who finally made it out of the sewers. April was devastated at what happened to Casey, and Donnie decided to go see the only man they knew who knew more about the Kraang than anyone. Kurtzman. Kurtzman was a man who they met a few weeks ago and helped them erase April's DNA codes from the Kraang computers.
He told them that the Kraathatrogons were only children and that the parents were much bigger. He didn't know how to stop them, but he also said that the Kraang ride them by pulling on the attennas.
Suddenly, April got a call. It was Casey! he was still alive…inside the worm. That's when Donnie got an idea. Him and April headed back to the sewers where they came face to face with the Kraathatrogon again.
Donnie's idea was to throw salt at it, since salt was like acid to a worm. They threw it at the Kraathatrogon, and pretty soon, the worm threw up and Casey was free.
But then they had another problem on their hands. ''I hate to break up the reunion, but we have big, huge, giant problems!'' it was the Kraang were starting to bring the parent Kraathatrogons over from Dimension X. ''Now that's a big worm'' said Casey.

Back at Shredder's lair, Chris was dodging his attack as the Shredder misses him which was starting to frustrate him.
''I would say you are a worth adversary, but I would be lying'' he said as he swung at him again. Only to miss again. ''And I would say you are good at fighting, but that would be lying.''
Shredder laughed, ''you have guts boy. But if you are not careful you will end up suffering the same fate as you parents.''
Chris stopped running and faced Shredder. ''If you want me to fight back then, so be it.''
Chris used his super speed to charge at Shredder, dodges his attack, and kicked him from behind. He attacked again dodging more of the attacks and attacking Shredder from the front, back, and side to sides.
Chris kept doing this until Shredder kicked him away after getting a lucky shot. He pinned Chris down with his wrist blades to the sides of his neck and a third one extending near his throat.
''I am giving you one last chance boy. Join me or die.''
''I've got a better idea,'' he grabbed Shredder's arm with both hands and used his power to heat up his arm. Shredder scream in pain and charged for him, but Chris used his powers again and phased through the wall. ''Damn it!''
*…*
Meanwhile, the Kraang were still trying to get the giant Kraathatrogon through the portal while Casey, Donnie and April were sneaking around and coming up with a plan.
''Okay,'' said Donnie ''here's the plan I reverse the polarity of portal and keep that thing from coming in. You guys create a diversion.''
''What kind of a diversion?'' asked April. ''Leave that to Casey Jones'' said Casey with a grin. Donnie wasn't impressed. ''Yo! alien freak jobs! over here!'' the Kraang looked over, ''it is humans, known as humans.''
They started firing at them, while Donnie got to the portal. The Kraang kept firing at them, and even unleashed the Kraathatrogon on them.
But then April remembered what Kurtzman said and grabbed the Kraathatrogon's attennas and her and Casey rode that worm, destroying all the Kraang and to the surface while Donnie watched in awe.
''I don't believe it.''
*…*
Meanwhile, back to the battle on the surface, Leo was fighting off Tiger Claw, Mikey was fighting Rahzar, Raph was fighting Fish face, and Caitlin and Karai were going at it.
Caitlin was being very aggressive towards Karai, swinging it at it while Karai tried to defend off her attacks. ''Caitlin stop this!''
''No! how dare you!'' she was beyond pissed at Karai for what she did to her brother. And she was going to make her pay.
The fight continued around the rooftop and soon moved to another one where there were generates and a billboard which Caitlin used with her powers and threw it at Karai.
Karai dodged it, and took the advantage until Caitlin used her powers again and lifted Karai into the air and almost hurt by squeezing the life out of her.
''Caitlin please…don't…''
''I'm sorry but you stopped being my sister when you tried to hurt my friends, Splinter and when you kidnapped my brother. Also you served the guy that killed my parents.''
That's when Leo tried getting involved. ''Caitlin stop don't hurt her!'' he shouted, but Tiger Claw knocked him away before he could interfere.
''Caitlin, no!''
Caitlin snapped out of her thoughts, and gasped as she realized that she was holding her tanto near Karai's head. ''Oh my God…'' Caitlin released her hold on her and Karai fell to the ground.
The two stared at each other. Caitlin shocked by what she did, and Karai wasn't sure what to think. ''Caitlin!'' Caitlin took one last look at Karai before running back to help Splinter and the turtles in the fight.
Master Splinter was feeling better now, and was helping Leo fight Tiger Claw. But Karai knocked her out of the way, and charged for Leo.
''Karai, I don't wanna fight you anymore, I'm not your enemy.'' Suddenly the ground began to shake again as Karai lost her balance and fell off the roof.
''Karai!'' Splinter's eyes widened in shock. ''No!'' Splinter tried to go after her, but Tiger Claw held him back. ''Your'e not going anywhere.'' Leo kicked him in stomach, knocking him onto a balcony.
Splinter looked up and smiled at his son, ''not to shabby.''
The ground shook again, and nobody could believe what they saw. It was Casey and April riding a giant Kraathatrogon.
''Whoo hoo!'' ''yes!''Caitlin was really confused, ''What in the-'' everyone stared at them, and Tiger Claw took this advantage to attack Leo and Splinter again.
He turned on his jetpack and flew through the air and swung his sword at Leo, but Splinter blocked his attacks and attacked him back and pushed him right into the mouth of the Kraathatrogon.
Meanwhile, back at the Kraang's hideout, Donnie had finally figured out how to reconfigure the portal. It started sucking the Kraang through and eventually the worm that made it to the surface.
Donnie tied himself to the portal so he wouldn't get sucked in, and grabbed Casey and April pulling them to safety and destroying the portal.
He raced over to make sure they were okay, and April gave him a hug. ''You did it Donnie, you saved the city.'' ''I'm gonna take back everything I said about you Donnie you rule.''
Donnie smiled and the two fist bumped. After that, the three went back up to the surface, to the rooftops to reunite with the others.
''So the earthquakes were cause by giant worms that lived under the sewers? that's worse than giant cockroaches!'' said Raph. ''Well I'm stoked you guys are back,'' Mikey said ''come here'' he walked and gave all three of them a hug.
Leo smiled and walk over to Master Splinter who was watching the police below. ''You did it Sensei.'' ''Yes with the help of my brave sons,'' Caitlin walked over to them ''and you to my child.'' Caitlin nodded and smiled at him, ''thank you Sensei.''
Suddenly she realized something. ''Hey wait a minute, where's Chris?''
''Down here!'' the others went over near the ledge of the roof where they saw Chris on the street below exhausted. ''Mind giving me a hand? Kind of tired from my fight with tin man.''
Caitlin used her powers and lifted him up to the rooftop and gave him a hug. ''I'm glad your'e okay.''
Chris returned the hug. ''I'm glad your ok too sis. All of you guys.'' Caitlin smiled. ''Are you hurt?''
''A little bruised here and there, but I'm all right.'' Chris was then approached by Leo. ''And what about the Shredder?'' asked Leo, ''what happened with him?''
''Well let's just say he is going to probably take his anger out on his henchmen when they get back, especially after I embarrassed him,'' Chris replied.
Raph grinned, ''nice one man.''
''Thanks, I just wish I wasn't so tired when fought him.'' Caitlin wrapped his arm around her shoulder and helped him walk.
''But what about Karai?'' said Raph. ''I still can't believe that evil witch is your daughter,'' said April ''um sorry to be so honest.''
Master Splinter nodded, ''perhaps one day she will believe the truth, but that is her decision.''
Meanwhile, Karai had been hiding behind a billboard hearing the entire thing. She still wasn't sure to what to think about all this, so she fled and went back to Shredder's lair.
Everyone was silent for a moment before Master Splinter spoke again. ''For now, it is time to celebrate.''
''Yeah! time for some Antonio's,'' said Mikey as they started walking back to the lair. ''So, where do you think that Kraang worm went anyway?''

Meanwhile, in another New York, four other turtles were sitting on a rooftop sharing a pizza. Suddenly, a giant worm came out of a portal and started attacking the citizens of New York.
''Hey do you guys see that?'' asked Leo, ''whoa a giant freaky worm totally mondo bizzaro'' said Mikey.
''I bet that pesky Shredder and Kraang are behind this'' said Donnie.
Raph looked at Leo, ''you know what that means right Leonardo?''
''We take down the creepy crawler and then we order pizza.'' They all took out their weapons, ''yes turtle power!'' Donnie shouted. They jumped off the roof and charged for the worm.
''Cowabunga!''
