Hey guys, sorry for the wait but I got kind of busy again, and the website was giving me problems -,- anyway here's the next chapter. It's from Vengeance is mine, but it's a little different because of the way this story is going. The turtles and all the characters from the show belong to their rightful owners, i only own Caitlin and AVP5 owns Chris. Enjoy!

Twenty-Four: Vengeance is Mine(part 1)

A few days later, Karai, Caitlin and April were hanging out at Murkami's again talking and just having a great time.

''So Karai, how are things going with Chris?'' Caitlin asked looking at Karai. ''Oh well there okay I guess.'' ''Oh really?'' said April, ''I heard that Caitlin and Leo had to lock you guys in that old pizza pallor just so you guys would talk.''

Karai rolled her eyes, ''yeah. And I still have to get you back for that.'' Caitlin laughed, ''hey you should be thanking me I knew that you guys couldn't stop thinking about one another.''

Karai sighed, ''yeah he's a great guy. He really gets me and understands me and he's funny.''

''Yep that's my brother for ya.'' The girls laughed, but then April sensed something was wrong.

''April? what is it?'' Caitlin asked. ''Something's not right.''

''What are you-''

Suddenly Caitlin sensed the same thing. ''Yeah I sense it to.'' Caitlin's eyes went wide. ''Karai we gotta-''

The next thing they knew, Footbots barged their way in to attack through the front and back doors. The bots sprang at them and Karai and Caitlin were holding their own and April was helping kick some Foot butt.

The girls kept fighting until the fight lead outside and the Foot bots just kept coming and coming.

They did their best to keep fighting, but soon realized they couldn't stop them all. So Caitlin decided to used their powers on them destroying them all.

She felt a little dizzy as she fell to her knees and Karai helped her up. ''Caitlin?'' ''come on, let's get her back to the lair.'' April replied grabbing her arm.

*…*

Meanwhile watching from a nearby rooftop two cloaked figures watches as the girls retreated and left behind the destroyed Footbots.

''All three are strong, but the one that destroyed the bots seems more threatening,'' said the cloaked woman.

''Do not underestimate the other two,'' said the cloaked man. ''The red head might not look like much, but I sense she is very strong. We'll need to do this quick and quiet when we make our move.''

The woman nodded in response. ''I understand.''

*…*

Karai and April got Caitlin back to the lair, and Donnie was taking care of her in the lab.

While that was going on, Karai and April told the others and Master Splinter what had happened and they were shocked by the attack.

''This is crazy, why would the Foot do that?'' asked Leo. ''We don't know Leo,'' said Karai '' But I suggest that we go after them to end this fight.''

''Yeah,'' Raph said, ''I agree with you princess.'' Karai was a little shocked at that, but looked over at her father who seemed to be thinking.

''No.''

''But why father?''

''It is too dangerous. That is what Shredder wants. If we do intend to stop him we must wait until we find the right moment to stop him.''

Leo nodded, ''He's right Karai.''

''Well I don't agree. Caitlin almost got hurt, the time to attack them is now.''

''I am sorry Karai I am not changing my mind it is best to wait.'' Karai was outraged but she didn't say anything as she marched out of the room with Leo following her.

''Karai wait I-'' ''No Leo I'm not changing my mind either and I still think we should go after Shredder. You don't agree with me?''

''I do, but I also agree with Splinter. We need to be smart and not rush into a fight with Shredder. We need a plan.''

''That's going to take too long and it would give Shredder time to find a way to hurt us. I can't let that happen Leo.''

''Karai I-'' ''Just forget it Leo.'' Karai turned and walked out of the lair. Caitlin had heard what was going on as she was walking out of the lab, and headed over to Leo. ''What happened?''

''Karai got mad and I think she's going after Shredder.'' Leo took her hand, ''I know you need to rest, but I think you should go after her.'' Caitlin nodded, ''I won't be long.''

Caitlin raced and knew exactly where Karai would go.

Karai needed to go clear her head for a while so she headed up to the surface and went to her own secret spot, a little old abandoned warehouse.

She moved a few pieces of wood away and walked inside. But what she didn't expect was to see Caitlin standing there.

''Caitlin? how did you-''

''Find you? this is the place I stayed at for a while when I was on the run. That, and I followed you. Is it ok if I join you?''

''Uh sure.'' A silence filled the space between the two before Caitlin decided to break it. ''Hey remember that time we snuck out when we were kids?''

''Yeah?''

Caitlin smiled, ''we had so much fun that night and that guy we messed with was so mad?''

''Oh yeah.'' Both girls broke out laughing.

''I miss those old days. Before everything that has happened…'' ''Yeah I miss it to. But, I am happy with everything that has happened since I've found out the truth. I found my brother, my friends, and I feel like this is where I want to be.''

Karai nodded. ''Yeah. But I'm worried about how things might end if we don't finish things with Shredder. Don't you agree?''

''I do, but I also agree with Leo.''

''Why not?'' ''Because I think Leo is right. We just can' t go charging into a fight.'' ''Are you serious?! Caitlin, we just can't let Shredder continue doing whatever he wants?!''

''And I agree with you, but as I said that we can't go charging into fight a man we know so well…and who killed my parents and your mom.

Karai was silent.

''Please understand Karai it's too much of a risk if were not careful.''

''But-''

''Please Karai give it a chance.''

Karai nodded, ''alright. I hope your'e right.''

''Trust me.'' I hope I'm right to.

*…*

Meanwhile at Shredder's lair, Tiger Claw, Rahzar, and Fishface were catching Shredder up on what happened with the Footbots attacking the girls earlier.

''He did what?!'' Shredder was pissed, ''I gave him exact instructions not to harm Karai.''

''Master, we could take Talsein out and look for Karai'' said Tiger Claw.

''You sure about that?'' Talsein entered the room with his assistant who remained in her cloak. ''Because the last time you tried taking me out you ended up getting you asses kicked.''

Shredder glared at him, ''why did you disobey my orders?''

''Orders? I don't recall pledging my loyalty to you or accepting you as my boss.'' said Talsein with him glaring at Shredder. ''So don't stand there assuming I take any orders from you.''

Shredder was a little shocked at that, but just continued glaring at him. ''Then what have you learned?''

''I've learned that the information you have provided me is as useless as your henchmen,'' he replied facing the three mutants who glared at him angrily.

''The one called April O' Neil has improved her skills much better than the last time. Your 'daughter' Karai's fighting style has changed and the one Caitlin's powers are much stronger than you previously told me they were. However, it hasn't changed my plans on taking them down and give you back what you asked for.''

Shredder nodded, ''Good.'' Shredder looked at the other three, ''none of you do anything and stay out of Talsein's way.'' ''And if you fail me Talsein I will make you pay.''

Back at the lair, the turtles and Karai were trying to come up with a plan while Caitlin went to go see Chris who was scouting near Shredder's lair.

She landed at the spot where her brother told her to wait and she saw a pair of binoculars on the ground. She grabbed it and looked through right into Shredder's lair.

She thought back to when she worked for him, and thought about what Karai had said. Karai's right, we can't let him hurt anyone we love anymore.

''Caitlin,'' she sees her brother appear in front of her learning his mistakes of sneaking up behind her. ''Glad you came. How goes the plan on attacking Shredder?''

''Okay. Well sort of. The guys and Karai are working on it. How are things going out here?''

''It's been quiet,'' Chris looked over at where Shredder's lair was and narrowed his eyes. ''Too quiet. None of his men have come out since a few days ago. The Footbots have been the only ones coming in and out of the lair. Still, it feels like he is planning something and sneaking in has become getting difficult even with my powers.''

Caitlin nodded, ''I see. Well if it's Shredder were talking about I'm sure he's planning something.''

''Well you used to work for him. Did he reveal anything that might cause him to remain in silence? Hell with him getting rid of his men and replacing them with Footbots I don't suppose we could go ask them for information about what he might be planning.''

''I don't know maybe they got fired? which I find hard to believe because of who they are and what they look like.''

''True, but I guess with his new Footbots that Shredder no longer needs his old foot soldiers . Still, not surprised that he would toss them away, especially after all he has done to us.''

''Yeah maybe. Still, I don't know what's going on in there, but I don't like it.''

''What did the others think we should do?''

''Just keep an eye on things for now.''

Chris was about to ask his sister what was wrong, when they heard some screaming coming nearby. ''Sounds like trouble.''

''Of course.'' Caitlin took out her sword and saw the Footbots attacking some people. ''It's the Footbots, there attacking people.''

''Let's get them!''

Caitlin nodded as they jumped down from the rooftop and saw the Footbots attacking the people and got involved in the fight.

Caitlin saved a mother and her children and got them away from the fight while Chris used his powers to lure the bots away from them.

Chris dodged the blasters from the Footbots and used his super speed to take them out. Caitlin meanwhile attacked several of the Footbots and attacked and cut them down with her sword.

Three Footbots noticed this and charged at her. She blocked,dodged, and countered attacked, but she was still exhausted from the fight and the Footbots started to get the advantage.

They kicked her into a nearby store and tried attacking her inside where she was limited and couldn't move in the small store.

When she got cohered she used her powers to take down two of the Footbots but the third only got slightly damaged since she was still injured.

It tried taking her out, but it got it's head sliced off by Chris.

''You okay?''

''Yeah I think so.''

Chris helped his sister up and placed her arm over his shoulder as they walked out of the sotre to see the destroyed Footbots. ''Looks like Shredder doesn't care about keeping himself a secret from the people.''

''Nope doesn't look like it.''

They heard sirens echoing not far from them knowing the cops are on their way. ''Let's get out of thee before we have to explain what happened there.''

''Good idea. Let's get back to the lair.''

They headed off, all the while being watched by Talsein and his friend.

''It seems the boy is as strong as his sister. Even after what she went through earlier she still was able to use powers of hers, said the cloaked woman. ''Imagine if she did what she did to the Footbots on a living enemy.''

Talsein began to chuckle. ''Well then she would be very dangerous. Fortunately for us is I already know how to get around her little powers. As for her brother I know just how to deal with him too.''

''Does this mean we will move on to the next phase of your plan?'' she asked.

Talsein nodded. ''This new attack will force them to make a decision that will cause friction from within. Once that happens one of them will come for us and then we'll use that person to lure everyone out. For now we will need to wait and see who will be foolish enough to come to us.''
