Hi guys sorry for the wait, for I'll be quicker now since I'll updating faster cause this week is my Spring Break :D anyway, me and AVP5 don't own the turtles or any of the characters from the show, they belong to their rightful owners, I only own Caitlin and AVP5 owns Chris. Enjoy!

Twenty-Six: Vengeance is mine(part 3)

When Karai and the turtles got back to the lair, they laid Chris on the couch since he was now unconscious. Karai sat near him holding his hand and not letting go, when Caitlin walked in seeing her brother injured.

''Chris!'' she raced over to his side, ''what happened?'' ''I don't know, but I think Shredder had something to do with it'' Leo growled under his breath.

Caitlin was shocked, but then got an angry look in her eye. ''I'll kill him'' she raced to walk out of the lair, but Leo grabbed her.

''Hey let me go!'' ''Caitlin no it's too dangerous and you need to rest.'' ''But-'' ''I mean it Caitlin. Don't worry we'll get him.''

Caitlin sighed, ''I hope so.'' Leo let her go and she walked over and sat next to Karai keeping an eye on her brother.

''So how is he?'' ''I think he'll be okay'' Karai said really upset. ''I don't even know what he was doing there.'' ''Maybe I can find out'' Caitlin took Chris other hand and used her powers to see what was happening in his mind.

She saw him make a deal with Shredder to protect the people he cares about, and how terrible the plan went.

Caitlin was shocked. ''Caitlin? what did you see?'' Caitlin was silent before she finally spoke. ''I think I saw Chris…make a deal with Shredder.''

''W-what?!'' ''Karai, Karai calm down it was a deal to keep all of us safe. Me, April, Casey, the turtles, Master Splinter, and you safe from Shredder.''

Karai calmed down a little. ''But why would he do that? why would he risk his life to stop Shredder without fighting?''

''He didn't want anyone else getting hurt and wanted to stop him by negotiating'' said Caitlin.

''He shouldn't have done that, making a deal with Shredder is pointless.'' ''I agree, but I also would've done the same thing.''

A silence filled between the two. ''There's no way out of this now,'' said Caitlin ''he won't stop until he get what he wants and we can't sit around any longer while he continues to get away with things.''

Karai nodded, ''you stay here, I'll go after Shredder.'' ''No Karai I'm going with you.''

''No. You're still weak from earlier.'' ''I'm fine really, I can't let you go alone I want to join you.''

''Alright. So we need a plan, and fast.''

*…*

Back at Shredder's lair again with Talsein's assistant waiting in the main room of where Shredder's throne is at. She is standing by the window alone watching the sun begin to set while Talsein speaks with Shredder. Rahzar and FF could come into the room maybe still upset with her and Talsein making them look like fools.

''Hmph, Look at her just standing there'' said Fishface. ''Yeah, she's probably thinking up a plan that will probably fail'' said Rahzar. ''And they call us the fools. And she's always so quiet what's the matter? did Tiger Claw catch your tongue?''

The girl ignores the two mutants as she continues staring out the window with a blank expression.

''Oh I guess she's too good to even fight back.''

Rahzar grabbed her shoulder, ''come on, or are you too afraid to fight back?''

This gets a reaction out of her as she narrowed her eyes, before Rahzar's hand begins to get covered in ice. As he pulls away, she kicks him in the gut sending him flying towards the glass almost breaking it. Fish Face tries to attack her, but she dodges his attack, and taps on the device around his body that becomes frozen as well. The device shatters into pieces knocking Fish Face to the floor and unable to walk without his robotic legs.

"Be thankful I did not freeze your hand to the point it would break off like your friend's toy. Otherwise you would be a whimpering dog with only three legs."

Tiger Claw walked in and saw what happened. ''What is going on?''

"Your friends here suffered a little accident. I suggest you take them to get checked out before they get into another accident," Hayami replied in a calm and cool tone.

Tiger Claw stared at her, but slowly nodded.

Fishface and Rahzar left and Tiger Claw faced Hayami. ''I don't trust either of you, you do know that right?''

Hayami simply nodded in response without saying a word. Tiger Claw was calm, but glared at her as she left.

Just then Talsein enters the room with Hayami whispering some words to him. He nods in response and lets her leave the room, while he walks towards Tiger Claw. "I know that look. Your curious about what makes her the way she is, am I right?"

Tiger Claw nodded, ''yes I am. How did you meet the young girl who is she?''

Talsein stares at Tiger Claw for a minute, before responding. "I met her when she was young. She was all alone without a family or anyone to take care of her. I took her in and raised her as she grew into what she is now."

Tiger Claw nodded, ''Interesting.''

"But that's enough of that. Right now we need to get things ready," Talsein looks out the window cracking his neck. "We're about to have some company."

*…*

Back with the turtles, were talking and trying to accelerate their plans.

''So we all clear on the plan?'' Leo asked, the others nodded. ''But we should probably wait until Chris is better'' said Donnie, ''we need him.''

Raph nodded, ''yeah were gonna need all the help we can get.''

''What about Caitlin?'' Mikey asked, ''She's supposed to be resting, but I don't know where she went'' Leo replied.

Leo pulled out his phone and called her. No answer. He called Karai no answer. ''There not answering their phones…that means…oh no…'' before his brothers could say anything, he raced to the dojo.

Back at Shredder's lair the girls had snuck in looking for him. Karai saw him at his throne and snuck up to it. But it was a trap.

Shredder's robot, Chrome dome came out from nowhere and attacked her. ''Karai!''

"Karai!" Caitlin appeared using her powers to destroy the robot.

Shredder appeared nearby and sees both girls standing together. "You two were foolish to come here alone. Do you really think you can stop me?"

"After all you have done to everyone we love, yes," Karai charges at Shredder, but were attacks were easily blocked.

Shredder goes for an attack, but Caitlin stops him using her powers. This allowed Karai to counterattack and knocks him down. But her attacks were not enough as Shredder recovered from the attack and kicks Karai away. He goes after Caitlin, but she uses her powers to knock him back again.

"Your little attacks will not stop me. I taught you both everything you know."

''It doesn't matter we'll find a way'' said Karai, ''were gonna make you pay for everything you did!'' shouted Caitlin.

"We shall see," said Shredder.

Caitlin uses her powers to lift the throne and toss it at Shredder, who sliced it in half with his blades. Karai uses the distraction to toss some shuriken at Shredder, who dodges the attack. Karai then kicks him in the face knocking him down. Caitlin uses her power to lift Shredder and begins slamming him to the ground.

She then lifts Shredder up and tries to finish the fight. But before they can finish the fight, Talsein appeared from behind Caitlin and electrocutes her knocking the girl out.

"Caitlin!'' Karai shouted, but Shredder knocked her back and a Foot bot caught her. The light turned on revealing about fifty Foot bots in the room along with Hayami, Tiger Claw, Fishface, and Rahzar.

"The plan worked like a charm," said Talsein as he places a device around Caitlin's neck. "This will keep her from using her powers, but for only half an hour."

"That's all the time we'll need. Tiger Claw, any sign of Splinter and the turtles?"

''No sign of them yet, Master Shredder.''

"They'll come," said Talsein as he hands Caitlin to Rahzar. "We just need to wait for them to come here."

"Actually Talsein, there has been a change of plans. Your services will not be needed," Shredder replied.

"Excuse me?" Talsein asked.

"I will deal with Splinter and the turtles with what I have planned for them. So I won't be needing your assistance to deal with them."

"So your are you firing me or are you betraying me?"

"Firing, but..." Shredder snaps his finger and a Footbot steps forward with a suitcase filled with money. "For your services."

Talsein sighed in annoyance. He turns towards Hayami who nods her head towards him. He then turns towards the suitcase before taking it. "Very well. Just don't blame me if your plan ends up failing. Let's go Hayami."

Shredder turned to Tiger Claw, ''take Karai and Caitlin to Stockman. Then get ready for our plan.''

''Yes Master Shredder.'' They took them to the lab where Stockman was waiting.

''Master Shredder.'' ''Is the mutagen ready?''

Stockman nodded, ''Prepared to your serpent DNA is ready.''

''No, you wouldn't'' Tiger Claw gagged her and him and Stockman locked her in a cage hanging over a container of mutagen.

''Make sure she is secure.''

Tiger Claw looked at him, ''You are more ruthless than I thought, mutating your own cub.''

''I have no intention of mutating her. She is bait. When the turtles attempt to rescue her, I will drop them into the mutagen. This will mutate them into mindless serpents. I want Splinter to witness his own pupils become one of the rat's deadliest predators. Then when his spirit is broken, I will shatter his body.''

Tiger Claw nodded, ''what do you plan to do with Caitlin? ''She is a traitor for turning against me, and turning my daughter against me. However, the Kraang have made a new device that will allow me to control her. That way she can be the weapon, and she'll never betray me again.''

''No!'' Caitlin shouted but they ignored her as Rahzar smelled them coming. ''I smell the rat.''

The turtles and Splinter appeared, ''Let my daughter go.''

Karai tries warning them but they can't hear her.

''You are welcome to rescue her if you can.''

The fight happened and they attacked but Miey, Donnie and Raph were captured.

Caitlin wanted to help so badly, but she knew the collar around her neck wouldn't let her. She struggled against Rahzar.

But suddenly, she saw the collar was frozen and broke away. ''Finally'' she grabbed Rahzar and slammed him against a wall and joined the fight.

Leo managed to keep himself from getting caught and helps free the others. He then went to Karai.

''Hang on, Karai.''

''Thanks'' then Shredder came up behind him, ''Leonardo!''

Leo tried to fight him off, but Shredder's knives cut the chain as Karai fell into the mutagen.

''Miwa!'' Splinter shouted, but it was too late. Karai fell into the mutagen.

''Karai, no!'' Shredder shouted but Caitlin glared at him as she tore apart a Footbot with her powers and tackled him to the ground, ''Oh shut up.''

She raced over to Leo, as they watched in horror as Karai crawled out of mutagen now mutated into a snake. Splinter sliced through the Footbots holding him, and raced to Karai catching her before she hit the ground.

He stared at his daughter, now a snake and covered with white and violet scales. ''Miwa…oh my child…''

Karai's now green eyes opened and she smacked him away with her tail and tore apart more Footbots.

Caitlin and Leo freed the others from their cages as oil dripped out from one of the Footbots as everything caught on fire.

''My lab!'' Stockman shouted, and Shredder pushed him out of the way. ''You Hamato Yoshi, you did this!'' he went to attack him but the roof collapsed. ''No!''

Tiger Claw looked at him, ''Master Shredder we must go!'' ''Leave me!'' ''Splinter will suffer for what has happened today. You have won.''

Shredder glared at him. ''What?!'' he looked up at Karai sadly, ''I shall avenge you my daughter.'' And he and his henchmen fled.

''We gotta get out of here!'' Donnie shouted, ''we can't!'' Caitlin shouted and Leo nodded ''not without Karai.''

''Karai you must listen to me,'' said Splinter ''we must go!'' Karai stared at him and pounced, coiling her tail around him. ''Daughter…please…'' Karai stared at him again. ''Father…?'' her tail loosened and she let go, but sprayed Raph in eyes with venom. ''Karai no!'' Caitlin shouted and Leo chased after her.

''Karai wait,'' but she didn't, she was gone before they could blink. They fled outside as Leo looked out at New York skyline looking for Karai.

Donnie was taking care of Raph's eyes and Caitlin was sitting on the ground crying as Mikey comforted her. But Splinter was the worst. His heart breaking as he fell into silence.

''I'm sorry Sensei'' Leo said looking at him. Splinter was silent. ''Sensei?'' ''we should go home.'' The turtles and Caitlin nodded and slowly followed him.

''You can make a retro mutagen for Karai right?'' asked Mikey, ''I don't know Mikey'' Donnie said sadly.

Caitlin took Leo's hand as the team all sadly headed back to the lair.

While not too far away, Karai was slithering around on a rooftop. She fell to the ground as her body began to change and changed back into her human form. Well almost. The only thing that could be seen through the rain was a pair of dark green snake eyes.
