Hoshizora fanfic one shot

*beep* *beep* *beep* Kazuma woke up with a jump. Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes he remembered the day before.

He recalled Tsumugi getting sick, Ui taking the role of the female goddess, being taken to the bridge on the carriage, and then..."wha!" Yelled Kazuma when he remembered what happened after that.

"Kazuma!" He heard Senka yell from downstairs. "Coming" he mumbled back, still blinking the sleep out of his eyes. "Just because it's summer doesn't mean you can sleep in, it's already noon."

"I've heard that one before" he said back

"I have breakfast ready, hurry up before it gets cold"

As he began to eat his breakfast Kazuma continued his train of thought from the morning.

What did this make them? How should they progress from there?

He knew he loved Ui, but sadly that's all he knew. The rest of his romantic knowledge came from anime and other teens, both unreliable sources.

As he was finishing up his miso soup he realized he needed to ask Madoka a question. How did she know that Tsumugi was going to get sick?

"I'm going out!" He yelled

"Don't have to much fun with Ui" Senka said giggling

"Nee-sama!" Kazuma blushed as he yelled at his caretaker.

Senka giggled as she saw the embarrassment on Kazuma's face.

"Get going" said Senka still giggling.

Kazuma followed his usual walking route until he spotted Daigo from about a block away.

"Hey bro" said Daigo striking up a conversation with his friend "What's up Daigo" said Kazuma still recalling yesterday's events.

"You and Ui are the talk of the town" Kazuma, although not surprised by what his friend said was still pretty embarrassed.

"All the guys are admiring your courage, while all the girls are still hearts truck by how sweet that stunt you pulled was" Daigo said while walking to the shopping district.

"I'm surprised at how fast it spread" said Kazuma. "Anyway, I have to go, see you later Daigo"

As he approached the steps to the shrine Kazuma was thinking about what to say.

How could she have known this would happen? Unless...!

"She couldn't of!"

He ran up the stairs, he had to know if Madoka and Tsumugi plotted this.

"Oh hey, Kazuma" said Madoka once she say him climbing the steps

"Madoka, strange question, but how did you know the Ui was going to take Tsumugi's spot as the female goddess?"

Madoka made a small grunt when she heard the question, and knew her cover was blown. "Oh that..." Madoka said, trying to avoid the question

"Yes" said Kazuma, pretty angry that Madoka was so obviously trying to avoid the question.

"Tsumugi and I may have come up with an idea to make you admit to Ui."

"Madoka..." Said Kazuma, obviously angry

"Yes?" Said Madoka, very scared of what was about to come her way.

"...Thanks!"

"What, really?"

"Yea, you guys really gave me a great chance, but in the future, please leave it to me"

"Hehe, sure thing Kazuma"

And with that he said goodbye and made way to his next stop.

On his way down the steps from the shrine he met the person he was going to see.

"Kazuma!" Said Ui, the smile forming on her face.

"Hey Ui" said Kazuma "what are you doing over here"

"Daigo told me you were here"

They started walking to nowhere in particular, and making small talk.

"So Ui" "Do you remember what happened the first time we were here"

They managed to stumble upon to the spot they shared there first kiss and Ui didn't even notice.

"O-of course I do" Ui said, her checks turning a light shade of red

"To think" he paused "all this happened because I missed a jump on a rock" said Kazuma with a chuckle. Ui shared that chuckle with him. For a while they just sat together, enjoying the others company.

"Hey Ui" "mhm?"

"I love you, Ui" " I love you too, Kazuma."
