Everyone hugged her and soon the doctor was coming back in along with another person. "This is Dr. Coleman she has a few questions for Callie's foster moms." Dr. Owens said. Mom and Lena walked out with Dr. Coleman and Dr. Owens. "I wonder what that is all about." Callie said before we all settled in to watch some T.V with her. I'm sure the moms would tell us if it was something major. But for now all I care about is that the woman I love and our unborn child are both okay. Nothing else can trump that right now.

Callie was released the next day from the hospital and Lena made an appointment for her to speak with Dr. Coleman, who was going to be Callie's new therapist, for tomorrow morning. After that appointment we have an appointment with Dr. Fisher. For now though Callie was on bed rest and no one was going to let her forget it. "When we get home you can either go lay on the couch or you can go to your room and lay down." Lena said as we drove away from the hospital. "Yes ma'am." Callie said knowing that she would not stand a chance in fighting Lena on that one. I smiled knowing that with both of the moms and me Callie would be alright and so would our little one.

When we got home Callie went to lay on the couch while mom and Lena went to the kitchen to start making lunch for everyone. I sat on the couch and put Callie's feet in my lap. "I hate this." she said and I laughed. "You hate people looking out for you and the baby?" I asked and she shook her head. "No it's not that. I hate that no one is going to let me do anything until I have the baby. I mean come on I am only like two months pregnant and I am already on bed rest." she said and I rolled my eyes. "I'm sure when we go see Dr. Fisher tomorrow she will lighten the bed rest but still I don't want you to over work or over stress yourself. You know I love you and I want to make sure you and our little one are both okay for the rest of my life." I said smiling at her. She sighed but soon smiled at me. "I love you too Brandon." after she said that I grabbed the remote and turned the T.V on and found something that we could both watch while we waited for lunch to be ready.

Lena brought sandwiches to me and Callie along with a juice and Callie's prenatal vitamins. "Thank you Lena but I could have gotten up to join the family for lunch." Callie said sitting up about to get off the couch. "No the family is going to join you for lunch." mom said coming in holding hers and Lena's sandwiches followed by Mariana, Jude, and Jesus. "You guys." Callie said as a tear rolled down her face. "I hope those are happy tears." Mariana said sitting in front of the couch. "They are. I love you guys." Callie said smiling. I smiled before settling back into the couch and eating and laughing as a family.

The afternoon was spent sitting around watching movies or me playing the piano or guitar and singing. Callie was laughing and singing along with me when I started singing outlaws, the song I wrote for us. It was a well spent afternoon with just family. The only thing I know that Callie didn't like was that she couldn't get up and move around other than getting up to go to the bathroom. But other than that everyone enjoyed their selves and soon it was dinner.

"Stef I'm going to go sit in the dining room just like everyone else. I can sit up for a little while and it's not that stressful." I heard Callie argue. "Callie the doctor wants you on bed rest until you go and see Dr. Fisher. That's what we're gonna do." I heard mom. I decided to walk back in the living room to see Callie sitting up. They both looked to me and I knew that mom was about to drag me into this. "Brandon can you please tell Callie that she should stay right where she's at please." mom said and I rolled my eyes. "How about this she can put her feet in my lap and still sit at the table with everyone else. Bed rest only means that she has to keep her feet up as much as possible." I said and my sighed. "Fine but you gotta keep your feet up." Stef said smiling at Callie. Callie smiled at me before saying. "Thanks babe." I laughed before going to help her up and we walked together into the dining room.

I sat in my normal seat at one end of the table and Callie took her seat next to me before she put her feet in my lap just like we had promised mom. Everyone filtered into the dining room not long after Callie and I. Lena had made Callie's plate and mom had made mine. They sat the plates in front of us before going to their seats at the other end of the table. "I thought Callie was on bed rest meaning that she couldn't get up unless it was to go to the bathroom." Mariana said sitting next to Callie. "Bed rest just means I need to keep my feet up as much as possible. And right now my feet are up so I could join you guys at the table." Callie said and I smiled. She was happy that she could sit with the rest of the family for a meal and not have them all around her. "Oh. Well I'm just making sure nothing happens to my niece or nephew is all." Mariana said causing Callie to laugh. "If it's a girl I will send her to you so you can dress her up." Callie said causing everyone else to laugh. "Daddy can teach her to play the piano and mommy and grandma can teach her to defend herself. Oh and lets not forget grandmama can help her with her school work and then uncle Jude and Jesus will keep all the boys away from her with daddy." I said smiling at everyone. "That sounds like a plan love." mom said smiling from ear to ear.

"I have something to say on a serious note real quick. I love you guys and I am happy that no matter what this baby will have a big crazy, some times dysfunctional, but always loving family." Callie said and my heart soared. "We are crazy and dysfunctional but the baby will always be loved just like all you will." mom said. Dinner went on with talk about the baby and soon we were all back in the living room watching a movie that Jude had picked. I let my thoughts roam from the baby to the family I love. One day I hope Callie and I could have our own big family to go along with the one that we are in right now.
