I am so sorry! Guys, I am so sorry for the wait and how long it took me to post this. Work got really busy and it really sidetracked me from writing this story. But I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth, I'm just really sorry it took me so long. Now who's ready to continue Battle for New York? Heads up, this is a bit different than the episode. Thirty-Nine: Battle for New York(part 2)
After Kurtzman got injured, the turtles and the Mutanimals retreated and quickly raced back to the turtles hideout.
Splinter and April raced over to help him and they set him down on the couch as Kurtzman groaned in pain. ''All the intel I have on this Kraang missile,'' he groaned again ''is on this drive.'' He took the flash drive out of his pocket and handed it to Slash.
''You and the turtles have to work together.''
''I don't think that's a good idea.''
''We agree on that much'' Leo muttered.
Splinter glared at them, ''Whatever problem is between you, you both have a common purpose.''
Kurtzman nodded, ''We're running out of time.'' He groaned in pain one more time before closing his eyes.
''Jack!'' Slash shouted ''is he?''
Splinter checked his pulse, ''No he's fine. I'm going to need to cauterize the wound.''
April nodded, ''We need alcohol, bandages, meds.''
''I'm on it Red,'' said Casey ''there's a pharmacy down the street I'll hit it for supplies.''
''The three of us will take care of him. You must unite and stop that missile before it's too late'' said Splinter.
''I've got it!'' said Donnie, ''We can disable the guidance system, or better yet hack-''
''Hack in and send the missile somewhere it can't do any harm'' Rockwell interrupted.
''Stupid psychic chimp.'' Rockwell just screeched at him.
''Okay, we ninja in from above, and then we drop down and disarm the missile'' said Leo but Slash didn't like that idea.
''Forget it! I say ground attack. They won't even know what hit 'em.''
''A ground attack is way too risky!''
''I think the only way this mission is gonna work is if we do both'' said Raph.
''Forget it Raphael. Leave this to the Mighty Mutanimals! come on guys we're out of here.''
The rest of the Mutanimals nodded, and left the turtles hideout.
''Leatherhead wait!''
''Just let 'em go Mikey. It's not worth it'' Raph said a little sadly.
But Leo got tried to get them back on track. ''We need a way to drop down on that missile.''
Donnie smiled as he got an idea. ''I've got something that just might work.''

Meanwhile on a nearby building, Caitlin and Talsein were scouting the area close to the lab and they noticed security has been upgraded.
They continued to look around until Caitlin spoke up. ''I think I see a way to get in.''
"Really?" Talsein asked. "You sure your little plan isn't one Shredder won't know about?''
Caitlin glared at him, ''I'm sure.''
Talsein doubted Caitlin's plan and knew Shredder would plan ahead in case they tried to do another rescue mission. "I have a different way of getting in without getting caught."
''And how sure are you that Shredder isn't waiting on the other side?''
"Because my plan is one he won't see coming, especially since he doesn't know I'm working with you."
Caitlin sighed, he had a point. ''Alright, good point.''
"Good, now I know another way we can get in without being caught."
Caitlin was still unsure since she still didn't trust Talsein at all. ''And how do I know you're not going to trick me?''
"Because my dear if I was going to betray you I would have done it earlier when we met.''
Caitlin glared at him again. ''Fine. Let's go.''
Caitlin followed Talsein to one of the buildings across from where the lab was. They go inside where Caitlin sees its abandoned. Talsein walked towards one of the floorboards and removes it revealing a hole that leads into the sewers.
"Ladies first."
Caitlin ignored that and she jumped into the sewers.
Talsein followed and pulled out a flashlight and started walking through the sewer tunnels heading towards where Caitlin hoped that was where the lab was.
As Caitlin followed Talsein through the tunnels, watching him closely, she decided that maybe now would be a good time to learn more about him. ''So, what did the Shredder do to you to make you so pissed off?''
"Who says I'm pissed off?" he asked not sounding at all pissed or as angry as Caitlin thought he was.
Caitlin stared at him, ''You may not show it, but that's the feeling I'm getting from you. What did he do?''
They stopped half-way as Talsein stared at her. "Let's just say not only did he cross me and blamed me for what happened to his 'daughter'. But he took something from me that I want back."
Caitlin fell silent as she watched him for a moment. ''Then what are we standing around for?''

After the Mutanimals and the turtles defeated the Kraang and recaulated the destination of the missile, they found out they did really work better as a team and headed off to TCRI to get to Dimension X.
The turtles went off in their turtle blimp, Donnie's new invention, while the Mutanimals headed off to TCRI planning another ground attack so they'll be able to open the portal.
''So do we have a real plan here or are we just winging it for laughs?'' asked Raph.
''It's all on the Might Mutanimals'' Donnie replied, ''First they break into TCRI, then Doc Rockwell activates the portal.''
''And then it's back to Dimension X! yeah boy! I get to be smart again'' said Mikey grinning.
''I get the first part. Makes sense. It's the ''save millions of mutated New Yorkers'' part I don't get'' Raph replied.
''Well,'' said Leo ''Donnie's got his super Retro-Mutagen stuff that'll work. Uh, right Donnie?''
''Heck yeah! and once we change all the humans back, Rockwell will hone in one with the Kraang portal and, theoretically, teleport us all back to Earth. Hopefully. Maybe. Yep.''
Raph rolled his eyes, ''We're doomed.''
''It's an awesome plan Raph.''
Leo nodded, ''Dimension X, here we come! I just hope the Mutanimals don't screw this up.''
Meanwhile, at TCRI, the Mighty Mutanimals burst through the doors as the Kraang looked on in fear.
''Aw Kraang.''
The Mutanimals roared and they started taking the Kraang down one by one.
''Doc, get that portal up pronto!'' Slash shouted as he broke a few Kraang heads. Doctor Rockwell climbed up and reach the mainframe ''Hacking in now.''
''Doc, hurry it up!'' Rockwell pressed a few more buttons and the portal activated. ''The portal is up!''
Back in the turtle blimp, the turtles saw that the portal was opened. ''Yes they did it!'' Donnie shouted. ''Hoist the mizzenmast, lads this pirate ship's about to jack Dimension X! ready your oxygen converters guys.''
The turtles threw on their oxygen converters, and Donnie steered the Turtle Blimp into Dimension X.
''Booyakasha!''
*…*
Meanwhile, Talsein and Caitlin were still walking through the sewers carefully walking over the water as they headed down the dark tunnel with one flashlight.
Caitlin let out a shudder as they continued to walk through the tunnel. ''I am so not enjoying this.''
Talsein chuckled. "I would have thought dating a mutated turtle who lives in the sewers would mean you got used to New York's disgusting sewer stench."
Caitlin shuddered a bit, ''Not really no.''
They continued walking down through the sewers in silence for a few moments before Caitlin spoke up again. ''So how much farther?''
"Not long, be patient child," he replied back to her.
Caitlin gave him a look, ''Excuse me? child?''
"What? You are one to me, especially how easily it was to trick you and your friend to come after Shredder because I almost killed your brother."
Caitlin growled, ''Look buddy, don't test me right now. We maybe working together for now, but I'm still planning revenge to whoop your'e ass for that endeavor. So don't push my patience.''
Talsein didn't seem worried. "Sorry to say you wouldn't last long against me girl, especially how your friend stood no chance in defeating Shredder who I can beat. You thought you could beat him together, but you underestimated someone who knows you both so well and what you are both capable of. I on the other hand know how to defeat Shredder and I know what needs to be done to ensure he doesn't harm anymore innocent lives. Something your turtle friends lack the ability to do due to how weak they are."
Caitlin glared at him. ''Don't you dare call the turtles weak they have more heart and bravery in the face of a fight that you will ever understand. And me, yeah I'll admit I'm still shaky with my powers but I know I can be powerful.'' She looked him right in the eye ''So don't tell us we lack the ability.''
Talsein grabbed Caitlin by the neck and slams her against the wall. He lifts her off the ground and begins choking her. "Show me your powers then. Show me how powerful you are by killing me before I kill you. Go on, show me what you claim I don't understand."
Caitlin tried to use her powers but because of the position she was in, she wasn't able to.
Talsein saw she couldn't break free and he let her go dropping her into the water as she coughs loudly. "Not so strong as you claim to be."
Caitlin didn't answer but silently glared at him and she pushed past him continuing down the tunnel.
Talsein stayed behind and called out to her. "Your friends can't stop Shredder!" this caused Caitlin to stop, but didn't turn around to face him. "You know that. As long as there is a single breath left in him he won't stop and will continue trying to hurt others. You know this to be true and you know it is pointless to tell the others about it because of their moral code. A code that despite being noble will not defeat Shredder. Not unless his life is taken away and he is gone for good."
Caitlin turned away from him. She didn't answer, but deep down she knew he was right. But she also believed that the turtles way is the right way. But then again, with all the Shredder had done, locking him up wouldn't solve anything.
She shook her head trying to get those thoughts out of her mind but she continued to think about it and that as long as Shredder lived, no one was safe from his vengeance.
"Child," Talsein called out to her snapping her out of her thoughts. "We're here, let's go."
Caitlin shook her head, ''fine I'm coming.''

While that was going on, the turtles had just made into Dimension X. And it was just as creepy and messed up as they remembered.
''Okay, welcome back to Dimension X'' said Leo as he looked around.
''Well, that's twenty-three percent better'' Donnie replied.
Mikey grinned, ''And I got a way of making it a thousand times better. Booyakasha!'' He threw a smoke bomb and when it cleared he was wearing his savage costume.
''Savage Mikey of Dimension X returns!''
Raph rolled his eyes, ''Again with the costumes?!''
''Let's just go with it,'' Leo replied looking at Mikey. ''Great, 'Savage Mikey,' so, uh, where do you think the Kraang are keeping all those mutated humans?''
''Hold on, I can sense them close by with my organic antenna.'' The others watched Mikey as he made a few strange noises.
''That way!''
Raph nodded, ''You heard the man Donnie full speed ahead!''

Meanwhile back at TCRI, The Mutanimals where still trying to fight off the Kraang and keep them away from Dr. Rockwell as he tried to keep the portal opened.
''We gotta keep that portal open for the sake of the city!'' Slash shouted.
''It's impossible! they just keep coming! and we're getting low on sourdough!'' Pigeon Pete replied. They tried to keep fighting them, but Ms Campbell, the robot droid whom the turtles fought before had other plans.
''Biodroids, Irmabots.''
Doctor Rockwell grimaced, ''We are in a staggeringly phenomenal amount of danger.''
''Destroy the mutants!''
Slash growled, ''Mutanimals, don't let 'em near Rockwell!''
Leatherhead and Pigeon Pete nodded as the three of them charged into battle fighting off as many Kraang as they could.

Back at Shredder's lair, Karai was finally cured. She and Chris were strapped to tables as Stockman set up the mind control experiment he had been working on.
Karai struggled against her restraints. ''Stockman, if you don't let us go I'll tear your wings off and stuff them down both your mouths.''
Stockman ignored her. ''Bzzt, I'm going to help you, just like I turned you human again.''
''Don't you dare touch me!''
"Leave her alone bugface or I'll do the ripping of your wings, slowly!" Chris shouted trying to get Stockman away from Karai.
''Silence bzzt, b-boy.'' He went back to his experiment for the mind control as he poured mutagen onto a few worms he kept in an ant farm. When he finished he looked up and saw Shredder walk in. ''Master.''
''Is it finished?''
''Yes, bzzt Master. Shall I try it on the girl?''
Shredder thought this over for a moment before looking at Chris. ''No, test it first on the boy.''
''Shredder don't you dare!'' Karai shouted.
Chris struggled to break free, but it was no use. "Even if it gets in me, I'll never be under your control, Shredder."
''I do not care boy. This is just a test to see if this mind worm of Stockman's will work.''
''Shredder you bastard leave him alone!''
Stockman approached him with the worm ready to go in his ear when suddenly it was shot out of his hand. ''Stay away from my brother!''
Suddenly Caitlin appeared kicking Stockman in the chest.
Stockman crashes into some equipment and Caitlin freed her brother. "What took you so long sis?"
''Sorry, I had to get some help.''
Shredder growled and charged at both siblings, but Chris grabbed his sister as they dodged the attack. Chris returned and kicked Shredder in the chest knocking him back, while Caitlin went to free Karai.
''Karai are you okay?''
''Yeah I-I'm okay. Why did you come back for me?''
Caitlin untied her and held out her hand. ''Because your family, and I couldn't leave you behind.''
Caitlin quickly helped Karai and they turned around and saw Chris fighting the Shredder.
''We gotta help him!''
''Caitlin wait,'' Karai put a hand on her shoulder ''Shredder has a mind control serum.''
''What a mind control serum?''
Karai nodded. ''Stockman had Bepop and Rocksteady run out and take something called Reagent X. I heard them talking about it, when he was trying to cure me, he used it also to create the serum. He dumped the stuff on some worms and was going to put it in Chris's ear so it would crawl into his brain and he'd be in the control of Shredder.''
Caitlin was so shocked by what she heard. ''What do we do?''
''We destroy the lab and leave nothing left for this to happen again.''
Caitlin nodded. ''Agreed.''
''No!'' the two turned around and saw Stockman. ''Don't you bzzt, dare!''
''Caitlin, go destroy the lab I'll deal with Stockman.'' Caitlin nodded and ran off as Karai glared at Stockman as her eyes began to her snake eyes as she hissed at him. Stockman gasped and flew off like the little fly he was.
While Caitlin focused on destroying the lab, Chris was fighting Shredder around the lab on the upper level.
"Not so tough without your buddies helping you out huh?" Chris asked taunting Shredder.
"I do not need help to destroy you boy. Once you are out of the way my daughter will have no more of these weak feelings," Shredder replied as his blades extended from his wrists.
"Those feelings are what makes her strong and stronger than you," Chris ran towards Shredder, but missed a punch and got kicked himself and getting knocked into one of the cell doors cracking it. "Damn, that never happened before."
"You've been locked up for days, boy. You are too weak to fight me and that slows your speed down," Shredder explained. "You are finished."
"So true," Shredder turns around and was kicked in the face knocking him into the wall. Chris and Shredder look over to see who attacked him. "Hello, tin man. Remember me?"
Shredder growled in anger. "Talsein."
Chris recognized the man that helped him attacked him long ago. "You," he goes to attack him but Hayami appeared to stop him.
"He is not your enemy right now," Hayami replied keeping him from getting involved. "He is Shredder's enemy and wants to fight him. Go help your sister and get them out.''
Chris didn't want to leave, and wanted to fight but knew he had to go. He took off leaving Shredder and Talsein alone.
Meanwhile, Caitlin was destroying the lab after Karai had taken out Stockman, but then out of nowhere Tiger Claw, Bepop and Rocksteady appeared. ''There is no escape for you.''
Caitlin growled and went to attack him. She managed to hit him a few times before he grabbed her and threw her against a wall. ''Ah!''
Caitlin's visioned blurred for a moment as she slowly tried to stand up. But Tiger Claw knocked her back down. ''Do you still think you can fight girl? You and Karai and your pathetic brother will never stop us.''
Caitlin looked up as she saw Karai trying to fight off Bepop and Rocksteady. But it was a loosing battle. Rocksteady manage to knock her off her feet and before she could strike back Bepop restrained her.
''Well done,'' said Tiger Claw ''now finish her!''
''I'm going to pop her head like a blueberry!'' Rocksteady shouted. ''No! Caitlin!''
As Caitlin stared in shock and fear as Bepop restrained Karai, something in Caitlin snapped.
After dealing with the Shredder for so many years…him kidnapping her brother and Karai…and hurting her friends, herself and the turtles after all this time…something snapped inside her.
''No….'' her eyes turned black and Tiger Claw, Bepop and Rocksteady grew afraid of the girl standing in front of them.
''Leave her alone!'' Suddenly Caitlin used her powers knocking the three villains back and almost killing them as Caitlin's power grew.
''Oh my God…'' Bebpop and Rocksteady dropped Karai and tried to run, but screamed in pain holding their heads as Caitlin used her power to destroy their minds.
Tiger Claw charged for her but was soon met with the same fate as the others.
''Now you will die!''
Catilin, stop!" Chris shouted knocking his sister down and freeing their enemies who remained on the ground writhing in pain.
Caitlin recovered and was upset at Chris but she saw what she did and instantly regretted it.

Caitlin hanged her low, looking away from everyone as Karai just stared in shock.
"I suggest you all leave now," they all turn towards Hayami who stood nearby with a detonator. "I set up some explosives all around this room and it is set to go off in five minutes."
"And that is our cue to leave," he lifted his sister up over his shoulders, runs to Karai and does the same thing, before they take off out of the lab.
Hayami turns towards Stockman who is knocked out. She walks over and begins dragging him out of the room. "Master, mission accomplished. Will I meet you at our hideout?"
"Yes, I'll see you there," Talsein is seen leaving behind an injured Shredder who struggles to get up from ground with a broken arm. "You know Shredder, I did warn you what would happen if you cross me. Now you got what you deserved."
Shredder turned towards Talsein noticing not a mark on him during their fight. "W-what are you? There is no way you could have survived those injuries I gave you."
"I'm something very dangerous," Talsein takes out a bomb and tosses it at a nearby wall blowing a hole through it. "And I'm someone that will take everything from you."
Talsein walks out through the hole just as Hayami detonated the bomb destroying Shredder's lab, while his henchmen got out before the lab got destroyed.
*…*
Meanwhile back in Dimension X, the turtles were still looking for the mutated humans. ''So where are all the people?'' asked Leo, ''feels like we've been searching forever.''
''You got any idea we're going Mikey for real?'' Raph asked a bit sarcastically.
''Of course I do dude!'' suddenly the turtles heard a roar and they looked up. ''But there are always surprises along the way.''
''It's a Kraathatrogon!'' Donnie screamed ''man the defenses!''
Raph fired a few trash bombs at it, but the Kraathatrogon just charged right at them and hit the Turtle Blmp with it's tail popping it and knocking the turtles onto an island.
''Ohh…I think I broke my brain'' said Mikey holding his head. ''Ha, what brain?'' Raph replied, ''I'm taking this freaky space worm down myself.''
The Kraathatrogon hit him with it's tail knocking him off the island, on for Raph to then land on top of Leo.
''I got this D!'' Mikey shouted at Donnie as he broke off a few crystals and threw them at the Kraathatrogon's back.
''FYI guys Kraang's worms weak spot are they're butt faces got that?''
None of the turtle brothers answered him and Donnie's eyes widened in shock. ''Guys look!''
Leo took out his telescope and looked down at a nearby seeing all the mutated humans. ''This just keeps getting worse, and worse, and worse.''
''Let me guess the humans that got Kraangatized have been turned into servants and are mining energy crystals for the Kraang.''
''Mikey, you never cease to amaze me'' Leo replied impressed.
''I'm sweet like that dude.''
''So we figure out a way to turn the humans back'' said Raph, ''And then the Mutanimals figure out a way to bring us all home'' said Donnie.
Leo nodded, ''It doesn't seem possible.''
''Dude it's the Mighty Mutanimals, the operative word being mighty, they got it all under control.''
*…*
Back at TCRI, things weren't going so well for the Mutanimals. Pigeon Pete was trying to fly away from Irma-bots only to be grabbed by them, Rockwell's psychic helmet was knocked away from him and was now being held by a Biotroid, and Leatherhead tried to save them but got attacked by more Biotroids.
In the end, Slash had to surrender as the portal deactivated with the turtles still on the other side.
The Kraang grabbed him and threw the Mutanimals into a cage. Slash growled and pounded on the cage,''Let us out! I swear once I break these walls I'll-''
Leatherhead put a hand on his shoulder ''It is useless my friend.''
Slash sighed and sat down in defeat. ''It's my fault we got captured. Maybe Leonardo was right. Maybe I'm not fit to lead this team.''
''I have seen you save humans from the Kraang. Rescue your fellow mutants. You are a good soul Slash.''
''Thank you brother. But if we can't save the turtles, then all the humans of New York we failed.''
Leatherhead fell silent as both mutants saw Piegon Pete freaking out before he was slapped by Rockwell. ''Calm down man I'm trying to focus.''
Rockwell closed his eyes and focused his psychic powers until he was able to pick up an empty Kraang head and used it to open the door.
''You done good Doc''
''Freedom!'' Leatherhead shouted as the Mutanimals charged into battle again.

Back in Dimension X, the turtles decided the best way to get to the mutated humans was the Technodrome. They jumped over to an island and grabbed a stealth ship while also trying to avoid a new Kraaang weapon. The Dracodroid.
The turtles quickly outran it, and crashed right into the Technodrome. They quickly fought through the Kraang and made their way to the control room.
''Wow, that was easy.''
''Uh Raph…'' the turtles turned around and were suddenly faced with more Kraang. ''Ah Kraang.''
''Turtles attack!'' Leo shouted as they charged at the Kraang. ''Leo I'm leader in Dimension X!'' Mikey shouted back kicking a Kraang in the face.
''Then figure out a way to take out all these Kraang droids!''
Mikey grabbed a few Kraang guns and started firing all over until all the Kraang were knocked out. ''Mikey that was amazing!'' shouted Raph.
''Dimension X plus years of playing video games, equals Mikey awesomeness!''
Leo rolled his eyes, ''Donnie what do we got?''
''Good news, it looks like we have access to their mutagen supply through this fuel tube. Not only do they use mutagen to terraform, they use it to power the ship. We got a massive supply like this much!''
The others nodded as Mikey started the ship and the Technodrome moved towards the islands. ''We have a visual on the human hybrids Donnatello,'' said Leo ''we need that portal ready to go.''
''Give me to seconds, I gotta add the retro mutagen.'' He plugged it into the machine, and quickly called Dr. Rockwell.
''Come in Dr. Rockwell Doc you there?'' It took a few minutes, but finally Rockwell answered. ''Donnatello we're back online, thirty seconds before we transport you home.''
''Sending coordinates now, adjusting for 5th dimensional space.''
''Ready with that retro mutagen missile Raph?'' Leo asked.
''Locked and loaded.''
''Fire!''
Raph fired the missile at the island turning the hybrids back to normal and Donnie quickly transported them back to New York.
Suddenly, Kraang Subprime came bursting in and Leo tried to fight him off as the others finished unmutating the humans and sending them back home.
''That's it, that's all the humans.''
Donnie nodded, ''Sending the last set of coordinates, ours, get us out of here Rockwell!''
''Confirmed.''
They raced over towards Leo and Raph caught him before Kraang Subprime knocked him off the bridge that was on the machine.
Kraang Subprime growled, ''Your'e finished turtle scum, finished!'' He went to attack them but before he could, Rockwell transported them out in the nick of time.

Back in New York…
The turtles landed on one of the many rooftops and looked down seeing all the humans cheering returning to normal.

Meanwhile, Caitlin Chris, and Karai got far away from the Foot and Shredders lair. As they raced across the rooftops they saw the Kraang were gone and the humans had returned.
"Well, looks like the others did something to save the day," said Chris as he turned towards his sister. "Still, I would like to know what happened back there. Why did I see the guy who tried killing me helping us and why did you go nuts?"
''Yeah Caitlin what happened?'' asked Karai.
''Well…well I…It's a long story. Caitlin quickly tried explain her team up with Talsein to free them all and then explained what caused her to go nuts almost killing Shredder's sidekicks. ''So yeah I just…snapped. Seeing you getting hurt like that…it just did something to me.''
Chris was surprised by this, while Karai really wasn't. She knew of all the things Shredder had put her through and feared one day she would snap that would cause her to seriously hurt someone. Tonight she saw proof of that and it was the first time she was scared of what Caitlin can actually do. Chris approached Caitlin and did the only thing he could think of, give her a hug.
"Hey, we're safe now and that's all that matters. Still wish you would be more careful with what you did."
Caitlin hugged her brother back. ''I know. I'm sorry.''
Chris broke the hug and turns to Karai who walks over to give Caitlin a hug herself.
''I'm really glad your'e okay Caitlin. And thank you, for helping us escape.''
''Of course Karai, your'e family.''
"You do realize we'll have to tell Leo and the others what happened right? Chris asked.
''Yes…''
Chris and Karai took off but Caitlin hanged back for a minute thinking about what Talsein told her. She shook the thought away and joined the others as they headed back to the lair.
