Brandon stayed with me while Stef went to speak with the nurses at the nurse's station. "Brandon Foster you have no freaking idea how bad the contractions hurt and if you want any more kids in the future you're carrying them." I told him as I breathed through the rest of the contraction. "Alright Ms. Jacobs. Let's get you in the room. I have already called Dr. Fisher and she is on the way in now." Said a blonde nurse as she stood in front of me. I just nodded as she pushed me into a room. This is going to be a really screwed up Christmas.

Brandon's POV

I had just gotten back to the main house after helping Callie to bed. "So Brandon how excited are you?" Asked Nathan, Lena's step-brother. "You know it took a while to get used to the idea but I'm happy. It's going to be hard for a while but I think Callie and I can handle it." I said smiling. "Well if you or Callie or the kids ever need anything just let me know." He said and I nodded before taking my seat next to Grandma Dana. We sat around talking for a few minutes but then I heard the most unearthing sound I never want to hear again. Callie screamed out in pain. Before I even realized it I was out of the living room and next to her on the kitchen floor. "Callie what's going on?" I asked quickly trying to hold her head in my lap. "I think I'm in labor. I'm pretty sure my water broke when I was coming in here." She said. "Mom! Lena!" I yelled knowing that I couldn't do this by myself. The whole family rushed in and gasped as they saw us on the floor. "What is it Brandon?" mom asked coming over to us. "She thinks she's gone into labor." I said looking at mom. She nodded before giving everyone a task.

We got Callie into mom's SUV. "Jesus the keys for the mustang are on the counter in the guest house. You and Mariana can take it to the hospital." I told Jesus before closing the door. Lena quickly took off for the hospital and my main focus was on Callie and trying to calm her the best I could. Mom was on the phone with grandma and grandpa telling them which hospital we were going to and that they could just ride with Jesus and Mariana.

When we reached the hospital Lena parked at the door. "You guys get her in. Jude and I will go park the car." She said. Mom went inside to get a wheel chair while I was getting out of the truck and helping Callie get ready to get out. When mom got back she helped me get Callie out of the seat and into the wheel chair before closing the door. Lena made sure we were inside before going to park the car. We got to the elevator and waited for it to reach us, which didn't take too long. Then up to the Labor and Deliver floor. "Callie breath. Focus on your breathing." Mom said as we reached the correct floor. I wheeled Callie over to the waiting area while mom went to talk to the nurses. "Brandon Foster you have no freaking idea how bad the contractions hurt and if you want any more kids in the future you're carrying them." Callie told me as she finished out a contraction. I wanted to laugh because I knew she didn't mean it but I didn't knowing that if I did she would be very upset with me. "Alright Ms. Jacobs. Let's get you in the room. I have already called Dr. Fisher and she is on the way in now." Said a nurse that was standing in front of Callie. Callie nodded and the nurse walked around and pushed the wheel chair to a room.

"Now Ms. Foster I need you and him to step out of the room while we get her into bed and check her. It won't take long and then if she wants you to be in here for the delivery then you can come back." Said the nurse. "I want Brandon and only Brandon in here when I give birth." Callie said trying not to sound mean I'm sure. "Of course sweets." Mom said before kissing Callie's forehead. "You will do great sweet heart just remember to breath." Mom said before leaving the room. "I love you Callie." I said kissing her cheek. "I love you to." She said and with that I walked out of the room and into the waiting room to see the whole family had caught up to us.

Not even ten minutes later the same nurse came out and told me that I could come back. "Good luck and tell her to breath. When she says something along the lines of I'm going to kill you for doing this to me just ignore here." Grandpa said and I laughed. "Thanks gramps. I will see you guys soon and I'll be a dad." I said smiling. I turned and followed the nurse back. "Alright I need to put this on you so that the doctors and nurses know that you are allowed in there and I need you to put these on before you can rejoin Ms. Jacobs." The nurse said handing me a pair of scrubs and holding a wrist band. I held my arm out for her to put the wrist band on. "There is a bathroom right there for you to put the scrubs on and I would suggest you hurry because I don't think it will be too long before the baby is here." The nurse said pointing to a door. "It's twins." I whispered as I walked to the bathroom and put the scrubs on.

Once I had the scrubs on I walked out of the bathroom and saw the nurse was waiting. "Alright follow me." She said leading me to Callie's room. Dr. Fisher was already there. "Brandon nice to see you again." She said once the nurse had left. "Nice to see you too Dr. Fisher." I said going to Callie's side. She grabbed my hand instantly and squeezed. "I believe that Callie has been having contractions all day. I only say this because she is almost fully dilated and her water has indeed broke. It shouldn't be too much longer and she will be ready to push." Dr. Fisher said and I nodded. "Callie babe. Gramps told me to tell you to breath." I said and she nodded as her face twisted in pain. "Can't you give her anything for the pain?" I asked looking to the doctor. "Callie is too close to giving birth to give her an epidural. I wish I could Brandon I hate seeing people in this much pain but in the end it is all worth it." She said and I sighed. I hated seeing Callie like this but I understood that there was no other way.

Suddenly there was a terrible beeping. "Doc what is that?" I asked scared shitless. "Alright Callie I know that we had planned to have a natural birth but one of the babies is in distress. I need to do an emergency caesarean section. And I need to do it as soon as possible." Dr. Fisher said before going to the door and calling the nurses. Everything was happening so quickly and I couldn't understand what was happening. I trusted Dr. Fisher's judgement but what the hell was going on with my kids and my girl?
