I am soooooo sorry for the delay for this, but it's been a real hectic month and things stopped me

Chapter 34 -

"Guys we need to get there faster?" Astrid yelled as she and Stormfly led the rest to the volcano, "Yeah sorry but we are kind of getting used to riding these dragons at the moment!" Snotlout yelled as he struggled to fly the Monstrous Nightmare, "Yeah the book of dragons had nothing more on this" Fishlegs added as tye Gronkle he was riding was struggling with having a rider. "I don't know what you guys are complaining about" Tuffnut yelled, "Yeah this is easy and awesome" Ruffnut finished. "Guys you are riding the dragon upside down!" Astrid pointed out. The twins then realised that whilst the Zippleback's body was the right way up, it's heads, along with the twins were upside down. "Oh right I thought you all looked weird" Tuffnut commented and the twins turned the right way up, "Were coming Hiccup, don't do anything stupid" Astrid whispered to herself.

"It doesn't have to be this way Hiccup, just join me and we will rule the world" Drago explained almost convincingly, "First of all that was way too cliché, second you thing I'm going to join you after you took me and infected me with darkness, you threatened my family and friends, you kidnapped my sister and started a war in which good men, women and dragons have died, and you want me to join you, sorry but no way in Helheim will I ever join you!" Hiccup shouted, of looks could kill Drago would be dead 20 times over right now. "So be it" Drago pulled out his axe whilst Hiccup readied his sword.

"There" Astrid shouted as she commanded the others to land on the edge of the volcano and dismount, Hiccup and Drago had taken spaces from eachother as they had done during sparring sessions, but this was not going to be a sparring session it was a fight that could only end one way. As Hiccup counted spaces he looked at everyone who had just landed, in particular Astrid , "Hiccup there has to be a better way" Astrid pleaded, "I wish there was Astrid, but it's came down to this and I need to end this before he harms anyone else, especially the ones I love" Hiccup replied looking into her eyes, and even though he was a few feet away from him she could see something in his eyes that she has not seen since he was last on Berk, Fear.

Hiccup sighed deeply and closed his eyes briefly for concentration but in doing so he took his mind off everything else including his surroundings, "ARRRRGGHHH!" Hiccup screamed as he felt a sudden stab in his right leg causing him to drop to his knees. "Hiccup!" Astrid, Valka and Stoick yelled in panic, as they watched as Hiccup was in severe pain as he grabbed the arrow that had been fired at him.

Astrid starred directly at Drago who was halfway across the bridge and was smiling, but he did not have a bow of any sorts in his hands and so couldn't of fired the arrow that had struck Hiccup, Drago looked up behind him and Astrid followed his vision only to see a dragon hovering above. Hel Flash, was beaten and hurt badly from his battle with Toothless but was still flying, "How could Hel Flash fire the arrow?" Seth yelled, "HHAHAHAHA, you think a dragon fired it, it was me the deranged ruler of all madness" A voice yelled from Hel Flash's location and Dagur appeared on his back seemingly riding Hel Flash.

"Thank you Drago for teaching me how to fly, but unfortunately this one is a bit, you know hostile" Dagur said to Drago, "Ah not too worry as long as you feed him and show him whose boss, Hel Flash will do anything you want" Drago explained, Hel Flash suddenly looked at Drago with shock and sadness in his eyes as his best friend has just referred him as a pet and useless, His best friend had just berated him.

Hel Flash then thought about what Toothless said about bonds and how Toothless and Hiccup's bond is strong, whilst His and Drago's was non existent. He finally understood that Toothless was right Drago didn't care about him and never did. Dagur suddenly stabbed a spear into Hel Flash's neck but only a little, just enough to cause pain and slightly stun him, although he was able to maintain his position in the sky.

With Dagur constantly grinding the spear into Hel Flash, it caused the Skrill to fire sudden bolts of lightning which stopped Astrid and the others from getting to Hiccup, Toothless was suddenly hit in the head by a stray bolt and stunned him. Drago walked over to a kneeling Hiccup and placed a foot onto his back, Drago laughed, "See how you kneel to me" And with that Drago pushed Hiccup forcefully down onto his stomach. Drago suddenly started ripping at Hiccup's upper armour and stated to remove to the confusion of everyone, moments later the entire upper portion of Hiccup's armour was gone and Drago stared at the scarred back of Hiccup and smiled.

Drago pulled out a dagger and knelt beside Hiccup, he then looked at the mortified people who had came to help Hiccup and grinned before turning his attention back to what he was about to do. Drago took the dagger and gently place the sharp of the blade at tye top of Hiccup's back, right on the spine, but what he was going to do will cause more pain than Hiccup could imagine. Drago suddenly jolted the blade into Hiccup who screamed in pure agony, it was so loud and so horrifying that everyone else convered their ears, Astrid and Valka screamed with tears pouring from their eyes begging Drago to stop, Stoick attempted to run to help but was stopped from the lighting bolts, the other teens had to avert their eyes. Drago then inflicted more pain, as the blade stuck into Hiccup just above the spine, Drago sliced downwards causing skin and flesh to be sliced open and blood to start pouring out, Hiccup's scream of pain was getting louder, Drago reached the bottom of Hiccup's back and pulled the dagger out, he looked at his work, Hiccup now had a massive rip down the middle of his back and Drago laughed, he turned to walk towards were Dagur was still airborne with Hel Flash who was still stunned.

Drago then looked up and smiled "Finally", a black cloud started to surround the sky above them, Valka's eyes widened and she started to shake in fear, "It's Helheim's Rage!" She yelled and everyone looked at the cloud.

The cloud was completely over the volcano, suddenly a bolt shot down at hit Hel Flash on the head which cause him violently shake and throw Dagur off him, Dagur fell but was caught by Drago, "Thanks for that" Dagur smiled, Drago though smiled a bit more psychoticly and grabbed Dagur by the throat, "No thank you" Drago laughed and threw Dagur into the crowd on the otherside.

Dagur was slightly stunned but felt his throat grabbed again, this time Dagur saw it was Stoick, who had pure rage in his eyes And Dagur started to quiver. "No mistakes this time!" Stoick said as he threw Dagur back down and nodded to someone behind him. Dagur looked up at saw Darius, Seth, Snotlout, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, Fishlegs and Astrid standing in front of him all with bows and arrows primed, Astrid in the middle then whispered "For Hiccup" and the all released their arrows all hitting Dagur in different places but Astrid's hit here right in Dagur's head, because death came instantly no noise was made.

The group then turned to face Drago but saw him on Hel Flash who was constantly getting struck by bolts from Helheim's Rage, Drago laughing, "Don't worry I'll kill all of you before I kill Hiccup that way you won't see him suffer" Suddenly Hel Flash was covered in Lightning and Drago jolted a dagger into Hel Flash's neck which caused him to fire a bolt directly at the group, it was heading right for them right down the middle where Astrid was standing, she couldn't move in time and accepted her fate, she closed her eyes "I love you Hiccup" and everything went black.

Hiccup looked up and saw that Astrid standing with her eyes closed away from everyone else, and with as much strength and energy he could muster got up and ran towards Astrid and pushed he out of the way, but he did not know why it was needed but instinct took over and got her out of the way, but he had no time to think that she was safe before he felt a massive shock and burn from the rip in his back, he could do nothing but scream.
