Warning short emotional chapter
Chapter 35 -
His screams of pain were tortuous to hear, but the pain Hiccup was going through was worse, the bolt that had been fired from Hel Flash, though unwilling hit Hiccup in the split of his back that had been made by Drago, the bolt it's self had come from Helheim's Rage and passed through Hel Flash. No one knew what exactly was going on but all that mattered was that Hiccup is in extreme pain.
Astrid looked on with fear and tears in her eyes, Valka the had the exact same expression, Stoick could not muster any other emotion apart from fear, and the other riders and Gobber were shaking. The scream of pain from Hiccup muted out Astrid's and Valka's scream of fear.
For at least 30 seconds the bolt continuously hit Hiccup, and the pain never eased up, unlike a standard bolt of lightning, the bolt sent a shock through Hiccup But not only that it was burning him from the inside, his blood began to boil, his body temperature was too high for someone to take. After 30 seconds the bolt finally stopped and Hiccup fell forward and didn't stop himself from hitting the floor. His eyes were closed and his body unmoving, Drago looked on from the back of Hel Flash, but showed no emotion, "It didn't have to be this way" He said, he then forced Hel Flash to to fly over the others, he looked at Stoick and Valka "I'll leave you to give him the send off he deserves" Drago stated as he then flew off towards the village on Hel Flash and Helheim's Rage seemingly following the Skrill.
Valka carefully approached Hiccup, as she neared her heart began to pound and her breathing increased rapidly. She knelt down to his side and placed a hand on his bare shoulder and instantly withdrew it. She then looked at his split in his back and saw where the bolt hit, and it looked like the skin and flesh around it had been burnt, Astrid and Stoick then began to approach, Stoick knelt at the other side opposite Valka, and Astrid at Hiccups head, Astrid slowly reached an hand out and stroked Hiccup's hair "Please no, you cant do this, I only just found you, I... I am not going to lose you again " Astrid broke down crying, she then placed her for head ontop of Hiccup's head and cried even harder, Stoick and Valka began to cry aswell both now hugging each other.
Seth stepped forward,
"May the Valkyries welcome you, as they take your hand and we listen in silence as we may hear your voice rise from the depths of Valhalla, And we may then know that you have taken your place at table of heroes and kings, for a great man had fallen."
Darius stepped forward and placed his arm across Seth's shoulder and they both said "A Brother"
Snotlout stepped forward ane copied Darius "A Cousin"
Fishlegs does the same "A hero"
Then the twins "Our future chief"
Gobber "A friend"
Valka and Stoick "Our Son"
Astrid then whispers "My only Love"
Im not very good at writing emotional stuff so sorry if it wasn't that good
