Lin crossed the threshold of the Beifong family home and instantly felt that something was off. Taking off her shoes, she closed her eyes and slammed her left foot on the graphite floor. Smiling when she felt a familiar heartbeat, she ran upstairs. Opening her bedroom door, Lin found her boyfriend lying on her bed, reading a book. "Can I just say how awesome it is that my boyfriend is an airbender?"

"Oh and why is that?"

"Mainly being able to easily access my room on the second floor. It does come in handy."

"Nice to know I'm only good for my bending." Tenzin put the book he was reading down on the bedside table and then looked at his girlfriend who was still standing in the doorway. "Can I just say how sexy you look in your uniform?"

"Really? You can't see any skin except for my face and feet."

"Well, if you come over here, we can fix that."

Lin sauntered over to him. Removing her belt in the process, she straddled his waist. Taking his clean-shaven face in her hands, she pulled him towards her. Kissing him softly, Lin took his bottom lip into her mouth and nibbled on it lightly, making the man under her moan.

Tenzin placed his hands on her waist and flipped them over. Nimble fingers worked at the buttons on Lin's jacket and pushed it away from her body, revealing a taught stomach. "Mm, spirits your body is wonderful." Tenzin placed slow, soft kisses on her stomach, and playfully bit her, leaving a mark. "You taste amazing."

"It's sweat Tez. Five layers of sweat."

"You're ruining the moment."

Lin shot him a smirk then glanced down between their bodies. "You're a terrible liar."

The two teens lay in bed, a mass of tangled limbs and dishevelled hair on one person's part. "Wow. For an airbender, you're really aggressive."

"Mm, for an earthbender, you're extremely soft. You know, compared to being 'like a rock.'"

"Nice to know. You ready for round two?"

"Spirits I love you." Tenzin rolled over onto Lin, ready to pleasure her again when the front door slammed shut. Tenzin looked down at his girlfriend with wide eyes.

"Shit. It must be Su. We need to get dressed."

The two began to get dressed quickly as they heard footsteps slowly ascend the stairs. "Lin! I bought take out. Mum will be home in ten minutes so if you want rice you need to get in first before she does." The young earthbender pushed open her sister's door, to see Lin sitting at her desk in a tank top and pants, while Tenzin sat on the floor with his legs crossed. "What are you two doing?"

"I'm studying and Tenzin is meditating. What does it look like we're doing?"

Lin meant for it to be a rhetorical question, so she began to panic when her little sister looked around her room.

Su's eyes narrowed as she scrutinised every square inch of her sister's room. The messy bed, underwear on the floor, both Lin's and Tenzin's increased breathing. "You two had sex! You two are dating!?"

"What?! No we aren't!"

"Your bed isn't made, when it is always made before you go to the Police Academy. You and Tenzin are breathing heavier than usual and your nasty underwear is on the floor."

Both Tenzin's and Lin's eyes slowly turned to look at the underwear, a slight blush forming on both of their faces. "I woke up late and wasn't able to tidy up."

"Puh-lease you never wake up late. You had sex, which means you two are dating."

"You can't prove it."

"I may not be able to, but mum can and she will be home soon."

The two sisters were currently locked in a game of cat and mouse. Lin being the mouse and Su being the cat. "Go for it. We have just been relaxing."

"Oh, I will. She'll be home," The front door closed loudly, indicating that their mother was home, "right now." Shooting her sister a smirk, Su ran down the stairs, a little skip in her step.

"Lin, what do we do?"

"You, are going to shut up. I am going to lie for us."

"You are going to lie to the human lie detector?"

"I've been practising. Just trust me."

The two teens went downstairs and into the living room where Su and Toph were currently eating "Hey aunt Toph, how was work?"

"Not bad junior. I was dealing with idiots, so they were good for a laugh. Do you want some food? I think there are some noodles."

"Thanks." Tenzin sat on the couch and began digging into his noodles.

"So, Su tells me you are screwing my daughter and are supposedly dating her."

Tenzin choked on the food in his mouth, not expecting the Blunt Toph Beifong, to be so blunt. "Actually, we are dating but we didn't have sex."

"Yes you did."

"No we didn't Su."

"Both of you, shut up." Lin and Su stopped arguing, instead deciding to stare intently at each other. "Thank you. Now from what I can feel, Lin is telling the truth."

Su's eyes went wide in surprise. "But they were having sex."

"Did you actually see them?"

"Well, no."

"So unless you can prove it, then they weren't having sex. Now shut up and eat."

Lin closed the door after kissing Tenzin goodbye. The stupid grin she had on her face disappeared when she came face to face with her mother. "So, how long have you and Twinkle Toes Junior been dating?"

"Seven months. Sorry I didn't tell you, I didn't want to make a huge fuss."

"It's fine badgermole." Toph swung an arm around Lin's shoulders and drew her in close. "But try to lie to me again, and I will end you."

Lin's face went white as she watched her mother walk off.
