...Monday Night Raw...
-Backstage-
Shelby and Rosa were walking backstage when they ran into Wade. "Hey." Shelby smiled
"Hey... so have you seen your family yet?" Wade asked
"Not yet... but Trey said that all 3 of my brothers and mother were coming so that's a good sign I guess." Shelby smiled
"That's great." Wade smiled
"Shell..."
They all turned around when they heard someone call her. It was her family.
Trey ran up to her throwing his arms around her swinging her around "Baby sis."
Shelby wrapped her arms around him "Trey."
Trey put her down and smiles at her. Shelby turns around and hugs her mother and her other two brothers.
"Wade, Rosa... this is my mother Audrey and my brothers Trey, Trent, and Jason." Shelby smiled "Mom, guys... this is Wade Barrett... and Rosa Mendes..."
"Nice to meet you..." Wade Held his hand out to all.
"Nice to meet you to Mr. Barrett.." Audrey smiled
"Please Call me Wade." He smiled
"Alright... Wade..." Audrey said
"Wow.. it's very hectic back here." Trent said to his little sister.
"I know... " Shelby smiled a stage hand walked up and asked her to do some press. "I'll be back in a few guys..." She smiled and walked off with the stage hand leaving her family, Wade and Rosa to talk amongst them self's.
-Backstage(Hallway)-
Shelby finished with the press she'd gotten pretty good at it with Wade but that was the first time she'd done herself.
Shelby was walking backstage when she bumps into Dean Ambrose. Dean reaches out and grabs her before she can fall back. "Sorry." She said looking up at Dean.
"It's okay." Dean smiles. "How are you?" Dean asks
"Good... my mom and all 3 of my brothers showed up." Shelby smiled
Dean nodded "That's good... I guess that's where your heading... so I'll see you around." Dean starts to walk away but Shelby grabs his arm.
"Wait... you don't have to run off just because of that." Shelby said
"Oh but I should... your family never liked me... so its just better if I.." Dean started
Shelby brings her finger to his lips to silence him. "If nothing... come on... I'm not going to let anyone determine who I'm friends with." Shelby smiled
Dean smirked at her "Hmmm..."
Shelby hooks arms with Dean and walks down the hall.
-Backstage-
Wade and Rosa where talking with Shelby's family when he see's Shelby walking up arm in arm with Dean Ambrose it look like they were having a grand old time.
Everyone turned to see what Wade was looking at and saw Dean and Sheena walking up. In an instant all three of her brothers remembered him and didn't like it one bit.
"Hey guys..." Shelby smiled as she unhooked her arm with Dean.
"Hey... sis ... What's up?" Jason raises a brow.
"I was just talking with my friend... Dean... you guys remember him?" Shelby said as she smiled over at Dean.
"Oh how could we forget." Trent rolled his eyes.
"Trent.." Shelby scolded
Dean shook his head and sighed he knew he shouldn't of come around her family.
"Look... I better go... I need to get ready..." Dean said to Shelby before giving her a quick peck on the cheek before walking off.
"That was uncalled for." Shelby shoots her brother a look.
Trent shot her one right back. "Was not..."
"Now you two." Audrey scolds them both.
"The show is going to be starting soon... we should go get ready..." Rosa said walking over to Shelby.
"Yeah... you guys should go get your seats..." Shelby said and hugged her mother before her and Rosa walked off.
Wade turned to face her family "Hope you enjoy the show." Wade smiled before walking off.
"This isn't good mom..." Trent said looking to his mother.
"Give her a break." Trey said.
"Your always sticking up for her Trey... don't tell me you like Dean now?" Jason looked over at Trey.
"No... of course I don't but Shelby said they are just friends." Trey reminded them.
"Come on boys... lets not argue about this now.. lets go get our seats." Audrey said herding her boys in the direction to head to their seats out in the arena.
-On Screen-
Miz was in the ring already posing for the audience holding his U.S Title up in the air.
Wade Barrett's music hit and out comes Wade and Shelby arm in arm. They head down the ramp Wade with a big smirk on his face as he showed off Shelby who looked stunning in her Red Off The Shoulder Crop Top with Dark blue jeans and Gathered Black Leather Wood Heel Strap Boots. Wade and Shelby walk around the ring but don't enter as Miz is trash talking in the ring. Shelby looks over to her family who is in the front row and gives them a quick smile.
Next out for this triple threat is Dean Ambrose the crowd goes crazy when his music hits. He makes his way down the ramp and slides into the ring and The Miz slides out of the ring to escape Dean. Dean walks around the ring first shooting a look at Miz and then making his way over to Shelby and Wade and stairs down Wade.
Wade and Miz climb in the ring and the bell rings at Wade and Miz surround Dean and attack throwing fists down on him.
Wade holds Dean up and Miz draws back and runs at Dean to deliver a boot to the face but Dean moves and Miz hits Wade who then rolls out of the ring and drops at Shelby's feet.
Shelby bends down to check on Wade.
Back in the ring Miz and Dean are going back and forth at each other when starts to get the upper hand Miz ducks out of the ring.
He sets his eyes on Shelby and walks over to her. He starts trying to hit on her and Shelby just laughs then knees him in the groin as the crowd erupts in laugher. Miz crawls away towards the ramp.
Triple H comes out on stage and has a mic in his hand. He makes an announcement that they are restarting the match and making it a triple threat match for the United States Championship.
Miz shakes his head as Dean throws him back into the ring and the bell re-rings and Wade hits Dean with Bull hammer and goes to cover him but Miz pulls him off. Miz and Wade get into a shoving match when Wade hits him with a big boot. Wade turns around and is hit with Dirty Deeds by Dean. Dean covers him for the 1.2.3
Dean's arm is raised in Victory and he is announced as The New United States Champion.
-Backstage(Off Screen)-
Wade and Shelby where backstage "I'm sorry about the match... I know how much you wanted the title..." Shelby said
"I did... but hey... I'll have to prove myself once again and win myself another chance." Wade sighed "I'm going to go shower... I'll catch up later..." Wade said to her as her family walked up he waved to them as he walked off.
"Wow sis... it's crazy seeing you out there." Trey said
"Your not kidding." Audrey smiled
"What up with him?" Jason asked
"He's a little upset he didn't win the title... but he'll get another chance I know he will.." Shelby smiled slightly
Dean comes walking backstage holding his new title he is all smiles when Shelby lays eyes on him.
"Dean." Shelby throws her arms around him and in return Dean does the same. "Congratulations." Shelby smiles pulling back.
"Thank you." Dean smiled
Eden comes over to the group "Sorry to interrupt but we need an interview with the new champ...hope you don't mind if I steal him for a couple minutes." Eden smiled
"Of course not..." Shelby smiled
"I'll catch you later..." Dean smiled with a wink as he walked off with Eden to go do the interview.
Shelby let out a sigh of content as she watched him walk away.
"Oh come on Shell... can you be any more obvious?" Jason shook his head
"What?" Shelby raised a brow.
"Oh sweetie... it's obvious you still love him." Audrey shook her head she feared her daughter still had feelings for this man but now after what she saw she was sure.
"You guys have no idea what your talking about." Shelby shook her head "I need to go shower and change I'll meet you back here so we can go grab something to eat... and when I'm back I don't want to hear another word about Dean." Shelby shook her head and walked off.
"She's such a liar." Trent shook his head
Audrey sighed and shook her head what was she going to do with that daughter of hers.
