-Backstage-
Shelby and Rosa were walking backstage Rosa had noticed that Shelby had been in her own little world. "What's up girly?" Rosa raised a brow.
"Nothing... just thinking." Shelby shrugged
"About what?" Rosa questioned.
"Dean..." Shelby said softly.
Rosa rolled her eyes and shook her head. "I don't understand why your so stuck on him... hasn't he made it clear to you he isn't going to get over what happened." Rosa said
Shelby shook her head "Rosa your right you don't understand... you don't understand how I feel about him... you couldn't." Shelby shook her head and walked off in a bit of a huff.
Rosa sighed and shook her head as Wade walked up. "Hey." Rosa said softly.
Wade smiled slightly "Hello... where is Shelby?..."
"She's not very happy with me at the moment..." Rosa said
"Why's that?" Wade raised a brow.
"Because I told her I didn't understand why she was so stuck on Ambrose...it's obvious he doesn't want her.. he isn't going to get over what happened between the two of you." Rosa said
Wade nodded "I see.." Wade said and rolled his eyes as he saw Dean and Roman walking down the hall.
Dean gritted his teeth as he laid eyes on Barrett. He gave Wade a look as he walked past.
"What's your problem Ambrose." Wade said after Rosa had given him a don't think about it look.
Rosa shook her head of course Wade would open his mouth he loved to get under Ambrose's skin.
Dean bit the inside of his cheek and then thought twice and turned around. "Your my problem... " Dean spat out.
"And what did I do now?" Wade shook his head.
"Don't you act so innocent Barrett... you took advantage of Shelby... she told me what happened... you knew she was drunk... she was in no way able to make a sober decision but you still made your decision to sleep with her knowing damn well she wasn't in the right mind to make that decision on her own..." Dean said getting into Wade's face.
Wade shook his head "You keep thinking that... if that makes you feel better... " Wade smirked "Besides... you've washed your hands of her... so what does it matter to you... "
"It's none of your damn business... you just need to stay away from her... " Dean said very sternly
Wade shook his head slightly and laughed "Kind of hard considering we work together... or have you forgot that... she's my manager... and weather of not you like it... she's MY friend... don't you think she's want to keep her distance if I did take advantage of her?"
Dean gritted his teeth. "You know nothing about Shelby that's obvious.. Shelby likes to see the best in people... it's almost like she refuses to see the bad..."
"Like when it comes to you?" Rosa rolled her eyes.
"And you... you clam your Shelby's friend...but you condone what Barrett did... your a woman I'd except more form you... I get you don't like me...but for you to be okay with Barrett taking advantage of Shelby well that's not much of a friend if you ask me." Dean shook his head looking at Rosa.
Rosa's mouth dropped and she shook her head she couldn't believe he had said that.
"Come on man." Roman said grabbing Dean's arm leading him away from the two of them.
Wade shook his head as he watched Roman drag Dean off.
-Backstage-
Shelby was walking backstage when she ran into someone. "I'm sorry." Shelby looked up and saw Dean. "Oh hey." Shelby smiled slightly.
"Hey..." Dean said softly and went to walk off.
"Wait... " Shelby grabbed his arm.
"What?" Dean raised a brow
"I don't like this... I don't like how things are between us." Shelby said softly.
"Well... I didn't have anything to do with that now did I." Dean rolled his eyes.
Shelby sighed "I know... It's my fault.. but there has to be something I can do... gain your trust back."
Dean shook his head "You can start by putting Barrett in his place." Dean said
"What do you mean?" Shelby asked
"Let him know where he stands in your life... and where I stand... you say you love me... but as long as I have Barrett in my face rubbing in your one night stand ... I'm not going to be able to believe it." Dean said
"Listen I've told you how sorry I am about that." Shelby said "I wish it never would of happened."
" Maybe you should let him know... If you want me to believe that you really wish that... you need to let Wade Barrett know... let him know how you feel about ME... and him... " Dean said and turned around to walk away but turned back around to face her. "I love you Shelby... and if I'm going to be able to trust you... I don't need Wade Barrett constantly around you... I don't trust him.. and in turn if he's around you I'm not going to be able to trust you." Dean then turned around and walked away.
A few minutes later Wade and Rosa where talking amongst themselves when Shelby walked up. "Hey." Rosa said looking down at her feet.
"I'm sorry about earlier." Shelby said softly " I didn't mean to snap at you."
"It's okay..." Rosa smiled slightly.
"I was actually looking for you Wade... can I have a word with you?" Shelby asked
Rosa nodded "I'll see you two around." Rosa then walked off.
"So what did you need to talk to me about?" Wade asked
"Well... I don't really know how to say this so I'm just going to come out and say it." Shelby sighed and took a deep breath " What happened between us... can never happen again..." Shelby said
"What do you mean?" Wade raised a brow
"I never wanted to sleep with you... I love Dean... and I was just confused about my feelings... and I was drinking..." Shelby started
"So.. your saying if you hadn't been drinking.. you would of slept with me?" Wade asked
"Yeah.. pretty much..." Shelby said "Listen its not like I don't like you... because I do...but I LOVE Dean... I've loved him from the moment I laid eyes on him in high school... "
"So.. why are you telling me this?" Wade questioned.
"Because... I've come to the conclusion that if I want Dean to trust me... I need to show him I'm able to be trusted... and that means you and I need to limit our time together..." Shelby said
"What do you mean by limit our time together.?" Wade questioned
"I think we should keep things professional.. and only spend time together if its work related." Shelby said
Wade shook his head "Did Ambrose tell you to do this?... " Wade questioned his anger starting to bulid
"Wade..." Shelby shook her head
"He has no right to tell you who you can and can't spend time with..." Wade shook his head damn that man
"I'm sorry... but this is how it has to be Wade." Shelby shook her head and walked away.
Wade shook his head as he watched her walk away and disappear around the corner. Wade kicked the chair in front of him down the hall.
Dean and John Cena were walking down the hall "Wow... what's got your panties in a twist." Cena laughed
"You... this is your fault." Wade started for Dean but Cena stepped in front of him.
"What's my fault?... " Dean raised a brow.
"You got to Shelby... did you tell her to stay away from me?" Wade was beyond pissed he wanted to tare Dean apart.
Dean laughed shaking his head "Well... if that isn't the best thing I've heard all day." Dean laughed
"Why are you so worried about me and Shelby?... is it because you know I'm a threat?" Wade questioned
"Your no threat to me... especially when it comes to Shelby... " Dean laughed and walked off happy at the fact that Shelby had obviously told Wade to back off.
