-Catering-

Shelby sighed as she sat down at a table in catering. She took a sip of her water and felt someone tap her shoulder. She turned around and smiled slightly. "Dean."

"Hey...um you mind if I join you?" Dean asked stepping over a few steps still standing at her side.

"Sure." Shelby smiled as she put her bottle of water down next to her.

Dean smiled slightly and took the seat directly next to her placing his plate in front of him.

Shelby smiles over at Dean. "So... you got a match tonight?"

"Yep... against Barrett... Surprise surprise." Dean rolled his eyes slightly.

"I see... " Shelby said softly

"I'm surprised Wade hasn't told you..." Dean said

"I haven't talked to him." Shelby said and took a bit of her food.

"Really?..." Dean raised a brow but was happy to hear that.

"Yes... I'm doing what you wanted and distancing myself from him." Shelby said looking over to Dean. "I told you... I want to earn your trust back... if that means staying away from him I'll do it." Shelby admits.

Dean smiled he was happy to hear that. He wanted to be with Shelby he wanted to be around her but as long as Wade was in the picture that wasn't going to happen. "I'm glad to hear that Shelz.. " Dean reached out placing his on top of hers and gently giving it a squeeze.

Shelby smiled at him but her smile faded when she saw Wade walking over. Wade didn't look happy he was walking like a man on a mission and she wasn't to sure she wanted to know what that mission was.

Dean looked over to see Wade walking toward them. Dean grits his teeth and reaches out and puts an arm around Shelby.

Wade reaches them and grabs up Dean by his collar. "Where the hell do you get off involving yourself in my business?" Wade yelled slamming him on the table.

Shelby jumps up "Get off him Wade..." Shelby yells.

"Do you know what this son of a bitch did?" Wade yells "He went to Stephanie and Hunter and got them to put him into a storyline with you... he wants to take you away from me."

Using the fact that Wade was to distracted by Shelby he pushes Wade to the ground and kicks him. "She's not yours to take in the first place..."

Shelby shakes her head

Wade gets himself off the ground "Where do you get off sticking your nose where it doesn't belong."

"If it involves Shelby.. that's right where my nose is going to be." Dean smirked "Face it Barrett... Shelby doesn't want you.. she told you to stay away... so back off..."

"Only because your forcing her to..." Wade said seething stepping closer to Dean.

Shelby steps in between the two of them "Please.. cut it out." Shelby looked between the two of them.

"Fine..." Dean bit the inside of his cheek. Dean grabbed Shelby's hand much like Wade did the night before. This time Dean was being possessive as he moved Shelby away from Wade "Let's go." Dean said and lead Shelby off by the hand.

Wade cracked his knuckles damn that man who the hell does he think he is?

-Diva's Locker Room(Outside The Door)-

Dean walked Shelby back to the locker room. Shelby was giving him a look. "What?"

"Why did you do that?" Shelby questioned

Dean sighed shaking his head "Do you really have to ask?" Dean took her hand once again. "I can't stand you being around him... so I did what I had to... "

Shelby shook her head "I don't understand you Dean... you tell me that I have to earn your trust by staying away from him outside of work and I do that... but you still go to Stephanie to get it so I'm not Wade's manager."

Dean shrugged "Look I can't help the way I feel about you..." Dean said

"You don't even trust me Dean." Shelby sighed

Dean shook his head " You said you still loved me Shelby."

"I do Dean... I love you..." Shelby started but Dean put his finger over her lips

"Well I love you too... " Dean said and saw a smile appear on Shelby's face which made a smile appear on his face. "And I'm willing to do anything to make sure you are safe... which your not around him... he has taken advantage of you once... even tough you don't think so.. which drives me absolutely nuts... " Dean sighed

"Dean..." Shelby sighed

"Look I'm not trying to start a fight with you... I guess me talking to Stephanie was my way of putting Barrett on notice... that I'm not going give him the chance have you."

"Have me?... what am I some kind of possession?..." Shelby crossed her arms over her chest.

Dean laughed shaking his head. "I'm not saying that... I'm just saying that..." Dean sighed and decided to just come out with it. " I want you Shelby... I want to be with you... "

"You don't trust me.. you can't be with someone you can't trust." Shelby said.

"I've done a lot of thinking... and you proved that I don't need to worry about you... I can trust you.. it's Barrett that I can't trust... so I've gotten him out of the picture." Dean said

Shelby shook her head she didn't know what to think right now. But she did know for sure she wanted Dean more then anything. She reached up and threw her arms around Dean's neck and kissed him. Dean wrapped his arms around Shelby's waist pulling her closer to him.

"So your not mad?" Dean said pulling back from the kiss.

"I'm to happy to be mad." Shelby beamed "You know I've wanted you for so long."

"Well you got me." Dean smiled and kissed her

Shelby deepened the kiss she had wanted him for so long and it was finally going to happen she was finally going to get Dean she was so happy things were looking up She finally might have a happily ever after. If only she knew what was coming her and Dean's way.

Wade was around the corner and saw Dean and Shelby kissing. Wade saw red that man was going to pay he wasn't going to get away with taking Shelby from him. Dean didn't have anything idea what kind of war he had just started.
