Give In To Me: A Beastly Love Story:

Chapter 10: LAST CHAPTER!

Kyle had found himself standing at the door, frozen with excitement and fear. She was sweeping, looking like she normally would any other day. Something about her made him wish she was the one that broke his curse, wanted him as much as he wanted her. His hand hovered over the handle, unaware of what he was even doing here, Lindy was supposed to be coming over to watch movies at his house in an hour or so. So why did he take a walk? Why did he end up here?

Anastasia sighed again, the tears would never end, even as she swept the store, her eyes were filled and had already started to fall. She shook her head, it was time to move on, forget about Kyle completely, he was long gone. *Bell Chimes* Damn, can't people see the closed sign? She turned and saw him standing there, looking slightly confused as his eyes pierced hers.

Kyle didn't even realize that he had entered the store, staring at the beautiful girl turning to him. Her eyes were brilliantly green, but all he saw were the tears flowing down her cheeks. Her hand rose to her mouth and he was beyond confused, why was she crying? She looked so sad, yet he noticed a spark of something in her eyes, barely there anymore, the spark that made him fall in love with her. "Hello Anastasia…"

Anastasia couldn't speak, her throat was dry and mind was blank, unable to form words. He was here, standing in her shop, watching her reaction to his broken curse. Her heart began to beat faster, it was loud, surely he could hear it. He took in her look, everything about her it seemed. She backed up until she gently pressed against the counter, her eyes never leaving his.

Kyle felt his body move and he was standing in front of her, trying to get his mind to focus long enough to speak to her. His hand touched her face and wiped a tear away, "Why are you crying?" his own voice was sad, like he knew the reason she was crying all alone in a dark store. "I-I-…" her voice didn't have the musically tone to it anymore, she seemed terrified. He continued to wipe away her tears, hoping she would be able to talk to him soon, the tension was killing him.

Kendra was holding Tyler's hand as they walked down the street, they were going to visit Ana since the whole Hunter/Kyle thing. Ana had been avoiding Kendra, always having an excuse or just not answering the phone. Finally Ana called Tyler and said she needed her friends. "Do you think she's okay now?" Kendra asked timidly, afraid she was going to lose her best friend. Tyler nodded, "She's probably better now, might have just needed some time to herself. I'm sure she will explain everything." they continued walking, falling into a comfortable silence

Kyle waited for her to speak, even though he wanted to take her into his arms and hold her forever, love her everyday of his life. His mind went to Lindy, how could he even think that was love, they weren't meant to be together. All his love was for the red-haired green-eyed girl crying in front of him, unable to speak. "Ana?" her eyes closed, probably trying to stop crying and get control of herself.

Anastasia thought hard, what would her first words to him be, after their last meeting turned out how it did. Her closed eyes searched for an answer, fearful that there wasn't one. Finally she opened her eyes and met his again. "Hi…Kyle." What? That's what came out? That's just stupid. But he must have liked it, because he smiled widely, shining bright white teeth, his hands moved to her neck and pulled her into a hug. "Anastasia!" he said happily and she felt her heart pounding, about to burst from her chest.

Kyle couldn't believe it, she was actually talking to him, maybe there was hope for them after all. She said Kyle, not Hunter, his name on her lips was the best thing he heard lately. "Are you alright? Why are you crying? Where have you been? Why haven't you called?" he held her small frame against him, feeling happy. He noticed she was smaller than before, her face slimmer, her arms skinny. When was the last time she ate? She was still beautiful, yet her body was boney, as if she wasn't taking care of herself.

Anastasia didn't know what to do against his chest, feeling smaller than ever before. What was he doing here anyways? He lifted her face to meet his and kissed her hard, like he was unable to hold back anymore. She kissed back instantly, just praying she meant as much to him as he did to her. Their kisses turned deeply and she pulled away, unable to fight something in her mind. He was disappointed and tried to kiss her again, but she pushed him back gently, trying to distance herself. "How's Lindy?"

Kyle froze at her words, how did she know about Lindy? Was she spying on him? Was he the reason she was crying? "What?" her eyes harden, she must think he was lying. "Lindy Taylor. Your girlfriend. The one that must have broken your curse. The one you should probably be kissing instead of me." her tone took on anger, she looked furious now. "Ana, let me explain." she pushed him back again, farther away from her and crossed her arms at him.

Anastasia couldn't believe him, did he really think he could play her? Trick her into being with him on the side or something? What a jerk! "I don't want to hear no lies Kyle, just leave!" she was surprised by the harshness of her words, was she really wanting him to leave. Her eyes filled with tears at the thought of him leaving her. "Ana please. Just hold on. I can explain everything." "Explain what? How you want to be with Lindy and me? How we both mean something to you? How you just want to see who's better?"

Kyle was hurt by her words, how could she think that? Her word cut into him deep and he felt his own anger rising. "Just listen! I don't love Lindy! I'm in love with you!" her eyes were filled with tears, he was unsure the reason why. There is was, out there for her to hear, he was bare in front of her, risking his emotions and feelings on a girl that might not feel the same.

Anastasia was shocked by, not only his anger, but his words as well. Kyle was in love with her? Was he lying? Trying to trick her? It's hard for her to breathe, how could she believe anything he said? "What?" she breathed and was unable to stop her heart from beating rapidly, so happy to hear those words come from his mouth. "I said I'm in love with you Anastasia. I think since the first day I saw you. Then the curse happened and I still couldn't stay away. But I was afraid you would hate me because of the curse. But you still cared, not bothering with my looks. I fell hard, unable to stop it. My curse got broken and I still can't get you out of my thoughts. Lindy is different, I can't feel for her the way I feel for you. I dream of you, think of you, hope you could feel the same."

Kyle rushed the words out, ready to just hear words of acceptance or rejection, he needed to tell her everything. He finished and looked at her shocked face, unable to tell what she was thinking. "I'm sorry, I guess Lindy does love me, because she broke the curse, but I can't love her because I love you. I've missed you ever since you ran from me when you found out who I was. I guess you don't feel the same."

Anastasia stared for a moment longer, then threw herself onto him, tumbling to the floor, smiling like crazy, happy tears falling from her eyes. "I love you!" she cried into his chest, holding him close. She was never letting go, he was her and she was his, they were going to be together, no matter what happened now. His arms held her tight, securing her against him. "Really?" she nodded and looked into his eyes. "I really do! I saw you with Lindy on the hilltop, I thought you wanted her, so I expressed my feelings and left, hoping you had happiness. But I've been so miserable, unable to stop thinking about you!"

Kyle heard her words, then realized, if she was there, maybe it was her love that broke his curse, not Lindy's. "Why didn't you tell me?" she shook her head. "I didn't know how, I thought you were happy with Lindy, I felt like I was going to ruin something. I just want you to be happy." he laughed and rubbed her back gently. "I can only be happy with you Anastasia."

Brooke heard something fall and rushed downstairs, fearful for her niece, yet stopped suddenly. Anastasia was on the ground with a guy, handsome indeed, they were talking, holding each other close. They were saying how they loved each other and Brooke smiled, at least her niece could have a happy ending. Seeing her smile as she was in the arms of her love made Brooke's heart soar, she was glad that smile was back, that gleam in her eyes that reminded Brooke of her sister, Ana's mother. She slowly made her way back upstairs, knowing they would be just fine.

Kendra and Tyler had stopped by, but saw Anastasia and Kyle holding each other close, staring lovingly into each others eyes. They shared a look and nodded. "I guess she doesn't need her friends at this moment, we can come back later." Kendra agreed, taking Tyler's hand. "I think we should go have a moment for ourselves, at my house." the blush on his face let her know they were on the same page. She squeezed his hand and then started pulling closer and closer to her house and her bed.

Anastasia pressed her lips to Kyle's unable to wait a second longer. They were together now and forever, nothing would come between them again. She loved him more than life and he felt the same for her. She grabbed his shirt in her fists and held tight, he wasn't leaving again. "Don't ever leave me…" she broke apart from him, looking deeply into her eyes. "Never could…"
