Epilogue:
Anastasia walked along the park path, humming to herself. Kyle was supposed to be meeting her here for a surprise birthday present. Things have been going so well the past few months. Kyle was so precious to her, loving him made her so happy. Brooke moved back in, helping with the store, they have found a new relationship with each other, understanding each other. She made up with Kendra and found out Tyler and her were going as good as herself and Kyle was. Everything seemed to be perfect.
Anastasia turned the corner, hoping to see Kyle standing there smiling at her with a present, so she was surprised when all she saw was a empty side path. She walked a little further, maybe Kyle wanted to jump out and scare her. Her smile widened when a figured stepped out from behind a bush, yet it was too short and small to be Kyle. "Opps sorry, I thought you were someone else." she apologized, yet the person came closer and she saw who it was. "Oh, thought I was Kyle did you?" "Lindy?"
Kyle was sitting at the counter in the shop, it sure was taking Ana forever to come down. Brooke appeared from the curtains and smiled at him. "Kyle, you two done already? Ana getting changed or something? More birthday plans?" Kyle was utterly confused and stood up. "What are you talking about? Ana is supposed to be here waiting on me." Brooke's face paled. "She told me you sent a note about meeting in the park for a birthday surprise. You did, didn't you?"
Kyle didn't get a chance to reply, his gut was telling him to go find her now, so he took off out the store door as fast as his long legs would take him. There was only one park nearby, that must be where she is. He tried to think about anyone that might want to hurt Ana's relationship with him, he nearly tripped over a dog as it dawned on him.
"What are you doing here Lindy?" Anastasia asked, taking a step away from the dark-haired girl smirking at her. "Just wanted to talk to you…without anyone interrupting us." her tone was cold and her words cut into Ana harshly, Lindy must be angry about her being with Kyle. "How are things? We never got a chance to talk…about Kyle that is." "Lindy, I understand that you might be mad, but I can't help it that Kyle and I care about each other…" "Just shut up! He was with me! We were happy! You shouldn't have came along at all! He's mine!" Anastasia felt her own anger rising, how dare this girl think she can break me and Kyle up.
Kyle made it to the park within a few minutes and took off down the path, hoping Lindy didn't try to hurt Anastasia. "Please be nothing at all, just someone playing a prank…" he mumbled to himself, his legs carrying him faster. He turned a corner and saw them, he sighed in relief until he watched Lindy's hand slap across his girlfriend's face. Anastasia lifted her own hand to the red mark now on her face and took a step away from Lindy.
Anastasia was caught off guard by the slap from Lindy, yet she couldn't react at all. "That's what you get bitch, saying that Kyle didn't care about me. That he always wanted you! He loved me and we were perfect together! He probably just wants your body you whore! Probably gave him a good fucking and now you think you own him! Well you got another thing coming, he is going to come back to me once he finds you fucking someone else."
Kyle couldn't just stand there and let Anastasia hurt Lindy, which he knew she could, seeing as she took down a huge man when they first met. Now Lindy was insulting Ana and he wasn't letting that go either. He quickly rushed forward, getting beside her girlfriend, who was glaring at Lindy. "That's enough! Lindy, get the hell outta here bef-" "I'll kill you bitch!" he jumped at the sound of her voice, Anastasia was never harsh and threatening like that. He glanced down at her, yet she was already moving forward. "How dare you say things like that to me. Threaten my relationship. Call me names like that. You know nothing about me. You are nothing to me." Each step Anastasia took closer to Lindy, her words became colder.
Anastasia couldn't believe what Lindy had just said, how the hell could she say those things. What a hateful bitch! She made her way toward her, ready to give her the ass-kicking she would never forget. She stopped suddenly, someone's hands were on her waist, holding her in place. She glanced back and saw Kyle standing behind her, his eyes filled with worry. Her anger wasn't going to disappear until she had Lindy begging for forgiveness at her feet, begging for mercy.
Kyle had a good hold on her, hoping she would just come back with him and leave Lindy in the past. "Let go Kyle. Or I'm going to have to hurt you too." he was shocked by her words, she truly wanted to hurt Lindy and was willing to hurt him too, just to do it. His grip tightened, he wasn't going to get Lindy have that, turning his girlfriend against him. His eyes left Ana's and met Lindy's, who was smiling at him like they were still together. "Get lost Lindy. I don't want you. I never loved you. I always loved Anastasia and I will always love her. There is no place for you in my life and you will never be able to tear us from each other."
Anastasia felt his words in her heart and slowly she felt her anger faded, how stupid could she get? Kyle loved her and nothing was coming between them, especially this little girl in front of us. She pressed her body against his and smirked at Lindy, watching her eyes get big and then fill with tears. "This is all bullshit! You are supposed to love me! I broke your curse!" "That's where you are wrong child! I broke his curse, I was there too, I spoke my love for him from a distance, but he just assumed it was you because you were attached to him like a leech. Yet you stand there alone and I'm the one wrapped in his loving arms."
Kyle was happy her anger was gone, but didn't know what to think about her now, I mean the girl he loved never would have said such things, just to hurt someone. But he understood how she feels, he just wanted Lindy to leave them alone to be happy anyways. "Lindy, we will never be together, so please just move on. I'm sorry things ended like that, but I truly love this girl and can't return your feelings." he was sorry, Lindy seemed like such a nice girl when they met and were together for that short time.
"Fine, if being with her makes you happy then whatever, I deserve someone better anyways. Goodbye to you both." Anastasia watched at Lindy turned away and walked down the path, swinging her hips as if try to lure Kyle into coming after her. "You alright?" his words were soft, he turned her in his arms so they were facing each other. She shrugged and sighed. "I'm not sure why I reacted like that. I mean, it is so unlike me." He chuckled and hugged her tight. "You are just territorial woman, you don't want anyone messing with your man." she giggled and held him close. "I guess, you are mine after all."
Anastasia remembered something and stepped away from Kyle. "Aren't you going to wish me happy birthday?" Kyle threw his head back laughing hard at his girlfriend's face, she was too cute for words. "I have a present for you." her eyes gleamed with excitement and she moved closer to him. "Close your eyes." she did and Kyle decided it was now or never and got down on his knee, pulling out a box for her. "I wanted to wait until tonight, after our dinner date and everything, but after everything, I can't wait. Open your eyes Anastasia. Happy birthday."
Anastasia opened her eyes and saw him down, holding a beautiful velvet box in his hands. He opened it as she lifted her hand to her mouth and revealed a gorgeous, huge ring sitting all alone. It was teardrop shaped and had plenty of smaller diamonds in a pave design surrounding the big diamond in the center. "I love you so much, I know we haven't been together long, but I truly feel like I must spend the rest of my life with you Anastasia. Will you please do me the honor of becoming my wife?"
Anastasia was frozen, unable to answer, her mind raced with so many thoughts, he wasn't joking, this was for real. She tried to speak, but nothing came out, her words were lost. Since she knew he was waiting and she couldn't wait for her mind to reboot, she nodded her head as fast as she could and nearly tackled him to the ground. He caught her quickly and held her against him as he placed the ring on her finger, this was the greatest moment in his life.
