Hello.
I think I finally got the bias on what the rewrite would be about. And I think the title is going to be The Eye of Deoxys, maybe for now. I'm not going to say much about it other than Ash will capture Deoxys since the Pokémon is the titular character. The "Eye" part is one of the things I can't really reveal until the story comes out.
I would try to keep some elements from Nightshroud the Beginning like having Orre as the true and eventual setting. There are just a few arcs in other regions before then. Like Ash would still go to Alola and gain a Z-Ring to use Z-Moves. For who he uses it on you can definitely count on Greninja there. As for if others that Ash would do Z-Moves on or not I haven't really decided yet.
This won't really be an Ash Betrayed story. It would be more of Ash cutting off all ties to his human friends to improve himself on Pokémon Training, to start a new life, or to protect them. Most likely all three.
Ash would capture a few new Pokémon to add to his team including Deoxys which he would have some special connection with.
The pairing I'm still try to figure out. I'm actually thinking about pairing Ash with Lillie from the Sun and Moon series, but I would need to find a way how to incorporate that pairing if I want to be one of the first people to do that. If you're all going to say that I should wait until the Sun & Moon series of the anime or games come out don't worry about that. I should probably have the first chapter done by the time they come out. Then there would be plenty of time until the anime gets a little deeper as Ash won't go to Alola until some time after the Delta Episode arc. That's all the same way with Mallow since I also pair Ash with her.
It was just a thought. You can leave your opinions or suggestions, but no Misty, May, Dawn, Iris, or Serena. I said that Ash would cut all ties he had to his friends including them which means those pairings wouldn't work that well. Plus they are always used a lot and that's not very original for me. I also hate PokéShipping and indifferent towards NegaiShipping.
One more thing I forgot to tell you. I got the inspiration of Ash catching Deoxys when I watched one of the most recent episodes of Pokémon Generations, The Scoop, that covered the epic battle between Mega Rayquaza and Deoxys which led to the latter getting caught.
