Babysitting

Immediately, Saru had went to check on the three girls.

Possibly, he wanted to get everything done as fast as possible. Thankfully, though, there were only three people he had to check. Those three people who Saru never knew why, in the first place, they were accepted in the house.

First and foremost, he checked Yuu, as she was the closest from his location and also because Saru was also curious about her lifestyle. Possibly, only Shuu had given initiative to be friends with the girl.

How did Saru know Yuu's location? It was all thanks to Shuu:

"Saru! How're you?" Shuu immediately greeted.

"D'you know where Yuu is?"

"Ah... Sun Garden." Shuu replied honestly. However, Saru noticed the rather forlorn tone of Shuu's voice.

"...are you all right? Want to switch jobs?" Saru asked.

"It's fine! Bye!" Shuu nervously hung up.

"What the...?" Saru stared at his smartphone and then shrugged as he tucked it in his pocket again.

Sun Garden. Why did that name feel so familiar?

And so, Saru trudged on to the orphanage, where Yuu was said to stay.

In the orphanage, Saru blended with the shadows. Naturally, no one even noticed him, it was a protocol for every member of that house: always be secretive and don't let anyone be suspicious of you.

There were three ways for that to happen: one; ignore everyone, two; let every attention go to you and three; be a side-character.

"Saryuu. Why are you here?" Yuu stopped the said boy in his tracks. As usual, Yuu had both black/dark top and trousers. It was always like that, even if the sun was out, she would wear those type of clothes.

"Oh... hey, Yuu..." Saru chuckled.

Yuu asked again, "Why are you here, Saryuu?"

"Nothing!"

Yuu stared at him and sighed, "Do you want some cup of tea, then?"

"Sure, then. Thank you."

The two of them walked to Yuu's room. Inside Yuu's room, Saru immediately felt cold. He noticed Yuu, however, was already in a comfortable position on her tatami mat.

Her room was plain simple, you'd think so as her walls were plain white. It was somewhat like an apartment, with tatami mats and a single table on the room. There was a cabinet stocked to a side, along with a dresser. The cabinet is where her roll-up mattress would be, then.

"Your room is nice. Why is it cold, though?" Saru asked.

"Sorry."

Saru immediately wished he had kept his mouth shut. Yuu was a cold person, and it probably had affected this place, too. It was most disheartening, but Yuu looked like she didn't paid the comment any attention at all. Truly, she was an expressionless girl.

"Well, if you insist, let's have tea." Saru sighed and sat at the other side of the table.

"Do you want biscuits?" Yuu asked.

"Not really." Saru replied.

Yuu nodded and took a sip from her tea. She asked, "Did you have something to say to me?"

Saru sighed and asked, "Has anything been... mysterious lately? Like you feel something is out of place?"

"Nothing suspicious. Why is that your question?"

"Can't just look out for my co-worker?" Saru replied slyly.

"Saryuu, our works our different. Your department are always doing various orders from the mistress that even we don't know about. Our job is too different than yours."

"What do you mean by that?"

Yuu's heterochromic eyes stared back at Saru, obviously not believing that Saru did not understand what she meant. Instead of scolding him, she replied, "It means that, it may be true that both of us work under the same roof, however, we couldn't care less of the state of our health on each other."

"What about Shuu?" Saru drawled out, "He seems to care for you, is that so hard to believe?"

Yuu became silent for a minute, but then replied, "If you're looking for suspicious people, well, I don't believe I know anything. Though, I can assure you, that even if that suspicious person comes right up to me: I'll kick him in his balls."

"...good to know, then."

Saru have been into Sana's house a few times, mostly because he followed Kei. That was one of the hundreds of special missions the mistress would give him. Usually, it was always about stalking people or keeping them safe or even protecting them.

When Saru was walking to Sana's, he immediately sensed something was wrong.

He stopped walking and sniffed the air... it was nervous. At his back maybe? But there was nobody there, at least, nobody who he thought could possibly be his enemy.

Saru headed straight for a narrow alley. Hopefully, no one would see him as he walked up to the top of the building.

The building was quite small, but enough for Saru to see most of the city. He looked around, and more so his senses were tingling... as if the enemy was just behind his back.

SLAM!

Saru was thrown down on the floor. He looked up to see the suspect who did it. How foolish of their enemy to send in someone who attacks people so weakly... clearly, he wasn't assigned for field work in the first place.

A second later, Saru heard a zzzzzziiipp, like a the zipper of a jacket. He stared at the fallen man in front of him and searched for any clues... maybe he was going to attack Sana, too?

He stole pretty much everything the man had in his coat.

But when he found a crumpled paper with Sana's address on it, he ran.

"What happened to you?" a little version of Sana opened the door.

"Can you call Sanada?" Saru panted.

"Nee-chan? Are you her boyfriend or something?" the girl asked, really curious about it.

"Close. I'm just a friend." Saru said.

"SANA-CHAN!"

The loud stomps from the stairs reached Saru. Sana must have been watching something or even reading a good book, the stomps actually said a lot of things.

"What is it? Is there someone outside?" Sana asked politely.

Or you know, maybe not.

"Sana? It's Saru."

"Oh, Saryuu! How're you?" Sana greeted.

"Nee-chan! Is he your boyfriend?"

"Amami, he's not my boyfriend. Just a friend, though." Sana replied.

Saru stared at the little girl. He asked, "Your name's Amami?"

Amami nodded and smiled. She said, "Come in, Saryuu!"

Saru bowed and did what he was told. Sana's place wasn't bad, it was quite large. Out of all Saru's co-workers, Sana has to be one of the people who actually was living a normal life. It confused Saru at first, she didn't really actually have any reason to even be there.

But, maybe, it was all the mistress' decision.

"Welcome to my house. Sit on the couch, my mom's at the market and my dad has a business meeting, so we're only the three people here. Do you want some snacks?" Sana said.

Saru sat on the couch and shook his head. He replied, "I just went from Yuu's."

That made Sana's eyebrows furrowed. She must have realized that Saru just didn't come for a friendly visit. She told Amami, "Sis, how about go play in your room? Saru just came from a vacation and I want to hear all about it... you'd get bored easily of our conversation."

"Okay!" Amami replied enthusiastically and walked up the stairs.

"Did the mistress sent you?" Sana asked.

Saru sighed mentally. Was he really this easy to read?

"No. I just wanted to ask if you ever saw anything suspicious maybe?" Saru asked.

"Besides you? Nothing else."

Saru sighed and reached for his pocket. He pulled out the piece of paper he found earlier from the man and gave it to Sana. He stated, "I found it from a man. He just jumped from behind... figured there were already people here."

Sana frowned and then replied, "That can't be. I swore I never gave it to anyone. Well, Saryuu, I'll try to look out for myself."

"Don't try, do it." Saru said.

Lastly, he walked to Kei's house.

Saru had a feeling she would be really surprised to see him. They haven't seen each other forever, maybe months.

Saru knocked on the door of the Rune's house.

"Coming!"

When the door opened, Kei immediately widened her eyes.

"S-saru?"

"Ah, the one ear rabbit," Saru teased.

Kei blushed and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Just wanted to see you. Would you do the honors of letting me in?"

"O-okay..."

And Kei let Saru inside their house.

The interior of the house was still the same as the last time Saru went. He asked, "Never really change the house, do you? I had a friend once who liked to change the furniture's places. He believed in a lot of superstitions."

"Really? Where is he now?" Kei asked.

"Assassinated by me." Saru cut it short.

"Oh... do you regret it?"

"Not really. I knew for a fact he was already my target. I called him my 'friend' since he really was one to me."

"...your powers are stronger than mine, Saru. I hope you be careful with it."

Saru looked at Kei in surprise. He asked, "You are stronger than me, you just refuse to hurt people."

Kei sighed, "I... just don't... like it."

"If Fei got hurt by a person, would you take revenge for it?"

Kei became silent. Saru chuckled to himself before plopping down the couch and turning on the television.

"Is there any reason why you came by?" Kei asked, as she sat next to him.

"Well, I wanted to ask you something."

"-murder happened. It is truly a mystery-" Saru changed the channel.

"What is it?

"-curious, too, you know! Lee-" Saru changed the channel.

"Has anything been suspicious lately? Like someone would be following you or something?"

"Not that I'm aware of. No."

"-care for me? I-" Saru changed the channel.

Saru smiled and then explained, "I asked you, since I just came from Yuu's and Sana's. Before going to Sana, however, I ran into a man... he's taken care of for now, but I found Sana's address on a piece of paper inside his coat."

"Is that so?" Kei asked and stared at the television.

"-not jealous!-" Saru changed the channel.

"Yep," but Saru noticed Kei's expression and said, "They're going to be fine, Kei. I know they can take care of themselves. They showed that in a lot of situations."

"-Idiot! I can be... jealous, too-" Kei had turned off the television.

Saru was surprised at the action and turned to her. The remote was on Saru's side, and for Kei to reach for it... well, it resulted in an awkward position, wherein their faces were near each others.

Kei was blushing too much and Saru had a tiny bit of pink on his cheeks.

"Sis! I'm home! Uh, hey... Saru?" Fei greeted, a little embarrassed to caught them in such a situation.

Regardless, "BAKAZARU!" [Baka + Saru]

It has been a long day.

"Mistress, the job's finished. Nothing's really different, I even asked them. Though, this guy showed up." Saru reported and then took out the ID he stole from the man he fought earlier.

The mistress stared at the ID and then smirked, "Remember his face. I'd bet we'd see him, again."

"Are you serious? He's dead."

"That's what you think. He's a robot, Saru."

"...oh."

That explained why the man fought so weakly.

Hakuyruu and Shuu were always teamed up.

"Done." Hakuryuu reported as another man had fell.

Shuu nodded, and immediately sketched out everything Hakuryuu was seeing. Shuu was inside a white news van, wherein they connected the screens to Hakuryuu's glasses, so he can see what was inside the HQ.

"Okay. Try to go left." Shuu said.

"Sure." Hakuryuu did what he was told. Again, he threw a button in a far away place and placed a circular object on a nearby wall. This was repeated again and again, but the two did not mind, it was fun.

"Say, why did the turkey cross the road?" Shuu snickered.

"Why?" Hakuryuu rolled his eyes, dreading the joke that was to come.

"Because the chicken was on vacation!"

"You never even ate a turkey." Hakuryuu grumbled.

"Oh, cheer up, Hakuryuu. Also, turn right just about... there." Shuu stated.

Hakuryuu did what he was told.

SLAM!

And Shuu's screen went black.

Yukimura was silently chilling in front of his laptop.

Hacking was a simple thing to do, and it beats field work. Although, Yukimura was quite skillful at that part, too. Usually, he was always behind the screen, protecting everyone from any suspicious things.

But the alarm went off.

"What the-?" Yukimura was surprised and checked who was making the signal.

And he was finish downloading, too.

Quickly, he sent the files to the mistress' computer and opened a file Shuu, he noticed, had sent him.

"Hyouga! Be careful! They're... hacking me! I don't know how..."

And the video was cut to that pont only.

"What the fuck?"

SLAM!

And Yukimura was gone in a flash.

Kishibe and Ibuki was also one weird pair.

Regardless, they work quite well together.

"What the hell is happening?" Kishibe hissed at his smartphone.

"Can't hack into anything? It's fine, we practically wiped out every enemy camp without hacking to anything." Ibuki said.

Kishibe rolled his eyes and said, "Well, it's the GPS, I'm worried about. We can't get anywhere without it."

Ibuki remembered that it was his phone that listed where the enemy camps were. He replied, "Fair point."

"I don't know why the hell it's not working..."

Ibuki sniffed the air and said, "Well, the air isn't exactly feeling happy either."

"What do you mean?"

SLAM!

"Oh shit," the two boys cussed.

The mistress raised her eyebrow.

"Ma'am... they're just, gone." Sana said.

"They're not dead, Sana, try not to panic."

"O-okay..."

"Dismissed," the mistress waved her off.

Sana walked out of the office and the mistress snapped her fingers.

"Well, what will you do? Yui's also gone, I told you that we should have disposed of her sooner. You know what that means, Yui is now an official traitor," a figure showed up next to the mistress (check the end of Arrangement 1 for details).

"I know. It looks like I have to call in those girls again..."

"And what? They'll fight your stupid war?"

"Possibly."

"Idiot."

"Well, everything's going as planned, except much faster. Even if the guys weren't abducted, they have to do go through this, anyway."

The figure sighed, "You are an idiot."

The mistress smirked, "But you still work for me, Natsumi."

"And I regret every moment of it."

Natsumi?! Whoa!

Whatever you think, yes, it IS Raimon Natsumi. No use hiding it from you, but: PLOT TWIST!

Anyway, see you next week! x3
