-Dean and Shelby's Home-
Shelby sighed and shook her head. "It will be a while mom... " Shelby said softly.
"Well you know I'm not trying to rush you but it would be nice to have a grandchild or two.. I keep telling your brothers.." Audrey laughed
"Well I think they are more ready then Dean and I.." Shelby said softly.
Dean walked out and smiled at his mother in law. "Hello.." Dean said walking over sitting next to his wife. "Did I interrupt?" Dean asked
"I was just asking my daughter when I was going to have some grandchildren.." Audrey said
Dean looked to Shelby giving her a look. Shelby sighed and shook her head giving him a look as if to say she hadn't told her mother.
Audrey noticed the looks that Dean and Shelby were sharing and raised a brow. "What's going on?" Audrey asked
"Nothing.." Shelby shook her head shrugging it off.
"Something is going on... I saw that little look you shared.." Audrey said "I'm your mother... you can't hide anything from me... I know you to well..."
Shelby shook her head and sighed "It's nothing mom.."
"What's nothing.. tell me.." Audrey sighed
Dean grabbed Shelby's hand giving it a squeeze as if to say to let her mom know what had happened.
"I was pregnant... okay but I'm not any more.." Shelby shook her head
"What?... what do you mean your not any more... " Audrey raised a brow.
"There was an accident.." Shelby started and Dean rolled his eyes.
"What was that for?" Audrey asked seeing the eye roll Dean had given.
"Wade and I got into it in the stair case at the arena and he shoved me and knocked me into Shelby and she fell down the stairs.." Dean sighed "Wade Barrett is the reason Shelby lost the baby.."
Audrey's eyes widened as she shook her head "Oh.. sweetie... I'm sorry.." Audrey stood up walking over to her daughter kneeling in front of her. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because.. I didn't want to think about it okay mom... I still don't I just want to move on.." Shelby stood up moving past her mother letting out a sigh.
"But sweetie... you suffered a loss... you need to greave for what you lost... both of you do... it's not healthy to keep it all inside.." Shelby walked towards her daughter.
"I don't want to think about it mom... I just.." Shelby shook h head and wiped the tear that was falling from her eye.
"Just what?" Audrey forced her daughter to face her.
"I just want to forget about the whole thing... I want to forget I was pregnant at all ..." Shelby couldn't hold it in any longer and started sobbing.
Audrey threw her arms around her daughter "Just let it out... you have to let it out.." Audrey rubbed Shelby's back as Shelby continued to sob even harder.
Dean watched as his wife broke down he hated seeing her like this he'd do anything to take away the pain she was feeling. Audrey lead her daughter to the couch sitting down allowing her daughter to lay across her lap as she ran her hands threw her hair just like she had done when Shelby was a child and would get sick that was one of the only things that would calm her down and make her feel better. Before she knew it Shelby was passed out and she slipped out carful to not wake her. Audrey stood up and walked over to Dean.
"Hey.. how are you doing after this?" Audrey asked
"I'm fine.." Dean said shrugging. "As long as Shelby is okay.. then I'll be fine..." Dean sighed
"But you've got to worry about yourself also..." Audrey said
"I'm fine ... I'm not the one who people need to worry about.." Dean said shaking his head
"But you suffered the same loss... you need to talk to someone also.. not just Shelby..." Audrey said softly
Dean sighed and shook his head
"I've got to be going but if you need to talk... don't be afraid to call... or talk to one of your friends... you and Shelby can't keep everything inside..it's not good for either one of you..." Audrey said and pulled her son-in-law in for a hug. "I'm going to call later and check on Shelby... tell her I love her..." Audrey said pulling away
"Alright I will.." Dean said with a small smile
Audrey smiled and walked out the door.
Dean walked over to the couch grabbing a blanket off the chair and covered her giving a kiss on the top of the head before walking up the stairs to take a shower. After his shower Dean walked back down stairs he saw Shelby was still sleeping. He walked out to the kitchen grabbing a beer from the fridge before walking back to the living room.
Dean smiled as he saw Shelby stirring he walked over to the couch to give her a kiss. "Hey babe.." Dean smiled
"Mom leave?" Shelby asked
"Yes.. she told me to tell you he loves you and she will call you later.." Dean said sitting down on the couch as Shelby sat up. Opening his arms allowing her to snuggle into him before wrapping his arms around her.
Shelby nodded "I'm sorry I feel asleep... always used to put me to sleep when I was a kid.." Shelby laughed slightly.
"It's okay babe..." Dean said kissing her cheek. "I'm glad you got to talk to your mom.."
"Me to... I know she's right.." Shelby sighed "We can't keep everything locked up.. as hard as it is... we do need to let it out.." Shelby said softly
"I know.. it's hard I'm used to keeping everything inside." Dean sighed "But as long as I know your okay I'll be okay I just need to make sure your okay make sure you take care of yourself.."
"Dean... as long as I have you I'll be okay but I do think maybe we should go talk to someone maybe we should talk to a professional." Shelby said
"I don't know.. do you really think we need help from a shrink?" Dean raised a brow
"It can't hurt can it?" Shelby looked to Dean.
Dean sighed and shrugged "If it will helps you... then I'll do it... I'll do whatever I have to do to make you feel better.."
Shelby shook her head "It will help us both... "
Dean nodded and sighed Dean knew Shelby thought it would help him but he wasn't so sure about it but he'd do whatever he had to help Shelby even if it meant going to a shrink something he really wasn't looking forward to.
