-Dean and Shelby's Home-
Dean woke up rolling over wrapping his arms around Shelby he kissed her cheek before rolling out of bed. "I'm so tired... why are we getting up so early?" Shelby sighed rolling over facing Dean as she sees him searching through the closet grabbing a pair of jeans and a shirt.
"Because you decided to make this appointment at an ungodly time.." Dean said turning around walking over to the bed sitting on it next to her.
"How stupid of me.." Shelby sighed sitting up throwing her hair up into a ponytail.
Dean smiled and laughed before leaning in and kissing her. "Come on... let's get ready.." Dean smiled and kissed her again before standing up off the bed and walking into the bathroom to take a shower.
Shelby sighed and rolled off the bed walking into the bathroom joining him for a shower. After they were finished with their shower Dean got out first and allowed Shelby to finish washing up. Dean walked out and got dressed. Shelby followed shortly after and slipped on a pair of jeans and a plain black v-neck shirt and a pair of heels. Doing her hair in a simple neat bun on the top of her head.
Dean walked up behind her wrapping his arms around her "You ready for this?" Dean asked
"Yep..." Shelby nodded
Dean turned her around to face him "If you don't want to do this or your not ready we don't have to go.."
"I'm ready.. we need this.." Shelby said softly
Dean nodded and kissed her quickly "Alright.." Dean smiled slightly "Let's do this.."
-Appointment-
Dean and Shelby walked into the therapists office and got signed in and sat down in the waiting area waiting for the therapists. After a few minutes Dean and Shelby were called back. Dean and Shelby sat in the therapists office and sat down in the chairs next to once another.
"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose... I'm Dr. Harvey.." The gray haired man said with a soft smiled
Shelby and Dean both nodded.
"So what are we here to talk about today?" Dr. Harvey asked
"We recently lost our baby.." Shelby said softly
"I'm very sorry for your loss.." Dr. Harvey said "How did you loose your baby?... was it a miscarriage?"
"Yes.. technically.." Shelby nodded
"Technically?" Dr. Harvey raised a brow.
"Yes...it's very complicated..." Shelby sighed
"Well... that's why I'm here.. to help you sort out things.." Dr. Harvey said
"Okay well.. Well here goes nothing.." Shelby said and looked over to Dean who gave her hand a gentle squeeze. Shelby went on to tell her about the argument between Dean and Wade on the stairs and what happened when she got knocked down the stairs.
"This Wade Barrett... who is he?" Dr. Harvey asked
Shelby went on to tell him about Wade and how she used to be his manager and how he developed feelings for her and she didn't return them.
Dean shook his head and sighed
"I feel you have more to add to this story Mr. Ambrose.." Dr. Harvey looked to Dean.
"He attacked me got me put in the hospital and then kidnapped Shelby... but he got away with it.." Dean sighed
"Why was that?" Dr. Harvey asked
"Because Shelby and our boss thought he was sick... and he needed help.." Dean said
"It does sound like he needed help.." Dr. Harvey admitted. "But that's not why we are here..." Dr. Harvey went on. "How are you dealing with the loss?"
"Not as good as I thought ..." Shelby sighed "Dean has been a rock.."
Dr. Harvey nodded "How have you been dealing with it Mr. Ambrose?"
"Okay I guess... I've just been focused on Shelby... for a while she wasn't eating right... she didn't want to talk or go out and do anything..." Dean said
"So I take it your taking care of yourself now?" Dr. Harvey asked
"Yes..." Shelby shrugged
"What about you Mr. Ambrose.. have you been taking care of yourself?" Dr. Harvey looked to Dean
"Yeah... " Dean nodded
"Maybe Physically..." Shelby shook her head
"Not emotionally though?" Dr. Harvey raised a brow
"I'm fine... as long as Shelby's okay I'm fine.." Dean shrugged
"But your not... I can read your body language... every time we mention the loss of the baby you sink back into your chair... and your eyes dart to the other side of the room..." Dr. Harvey said "That show's me your hiding some emotion..."
Dean shrugged shaking his head "Maybe.."
"You shouldn't hide it... you know you and Shelby should be working though this together..." Dr. Harvey said
Dean sighed and shook his head standing up. "I'm sorry babe... I can't do this now..." Dean said before walking out the door.
Shelby sighed and shook her head "I'm sorry Dr. Harvey.." Shelby stood up.
"It's alright... this is a tough thing to go through he needs time... " Dr. Harvey said "Give me a call when he is ready... and if you need to speak to me in the mean time don't be shy I'm here to help... but I do think there is more then just to miscarriage weighing on your relationship.." Dr. Harvey added
Shelby nodded "Thank you for everything..." Shelby said shaking his hand before walking out. She hoped Dean would come around she knew Dean needed to talk to someone even if it wasn't Dr. Harvey.
