A/N: Oh My Gosh! I am so sorry for the extremely long wait. It's been nearly ages since I've last updated this fic. You all probably thought I had abandoned it, right? Well, don't worry. I have no intentions of abandoning any of my fics. I've just had a lot on my mind, lately and plus I was kind of going through writer's block. Anyway, thanks for the reviews for the previous chapter. I absolutely love them!
Disclaimer: Miranda belongs to me, but the children do not.
It was the middle of the day, and Miranda stood at the front of the room. The children were looking at her as she began to speak.
"As we all know now, we've been here for over two weeks. And I think it's time we've gotten to know each other a little better."
Hotch quickly rose to his feet and said, "But we introduced ourselves on the first day of school. Alright, which one of you forgot who everyone is in here? Was it you, Alice?" He pointed an accusing finger at Alex.
"My name's Alex. And no I didn't forgot. I know who everyone is in here." Alex responded back.
"Please sit back down Aaron, and please let me finish talking." Miranda pleaded.
Hotch sat back down. "As you were, Miss Norton."
"I'm going to pair each of you up and I want you to ask each other following questions; What's your favorite color? Who's your favorite person? What's your favorite movie? What's your favorite food? And what do you like to do? Those are the five questions I want you to ask each other. Okay, I'm now going to pair each of you up with a partner." Miranda said. I want Aaron and Kevin together. Next I want Emily and Spencer together. Will and Ashley will be partnered up. Maeve, you'll be Elle's partner. Then I want Derek and Jordan to be partners. Haley and Beth will be partners. Next is Jennifer and Penelope. Clyde, your partner will be Jason. Then we've got David and Alex. And since there's an odd number of students in this class, Grant, you'll be my partner."
"Oh man! Can I please switch partners? I wanted to be your partner, Miss Norton. No offense Jordan." Morgan said.
"Sorry Derek, but you get who I assign you to. Jordan seems like a very interesting girl to get to know. You may all now get with your partners and begin interviewing each other.
Everyone was scattered among the room. Maeve and Elle were seated at the reading table. Prentiss and Reid were seated in the time out area. Also in the time out area, but a few feet away from Prentiss and Reid, were Gideon and Clyde. Haley and Beth decided to stay at their desks. Hotch and Kevin were seated by the coat and backpack area. Will and Ashley were seated in the play area. Also in that same area, but a few feet away from Will and Ashley, were Garcia and JJ. Rossi remained at his desk, while Alex sat next to him in Ashley's chair. Miranda and Anderson sat at Miranda's desk. And sitting right in front of Miranda's desk, were Morgan and Jordan.
Elle was twirling a strand of her hair as Maeve interviewed her.
"What's your favorite color?" Maeve asked.
"Pink. I love pink." Elle responded.
"Who's your favorite person?"
"My daddy. He calls me his princess and I love being a princess."
"What's your favorite movie?"
"I really love Cinderella."
"What's your favorite food?"
"Chicken Fajitas."
"Okay and what do you like to do?"
"I love being a princess."
"Okay, now you get to interview me." Maeve said.
"Wait a second, my finger is caught in my hair. I must have twirled it too much." Elle was desperately trying to loosen the strand of hair off her finger. There was a painful look on her face as she tugged at her hair. "Ouch!"
"Do you need some help?" Maeve grimaced as she watched her classmate.
"Oh no. I've almost got it myself."
Sure enough with one final tug, Elle's finger was free from her hair. "Ouch, that really hurt! My hair isn't ruined, is it?"
"No." Maeve said.
Elle breathed a sigh of relief. "Okay good, now I can interview you. "So what's your favorite color?"
"Blue." Maeve replied.
"Who's your favorite person?"
"Hmm… I think my favorite person in the whole world would have to be my Grandma Millicent."
"What's your favorite movie?" Elle asked.
"Oh I really like The Aristocats." Maeve said.
"What's your favorite food?"
"Shrimp, definitely shrimp."
"Yuck! Seafood is nasty." Elle said in disgust.
"I love seafood." Maeve retorted back.
"Not me. Well except for caviar. That's the only seafood I like. And what do you like to do?"
"I like to go fishing. And caviar is the only seafood I hate."
Reid was trying to ask Prentiss questions, but she kept interrupting him. She was concerned for Clyde.
"Okay what's your favorite col…"
"Just a second Spencer. I think Pinocchio may be in danger."
"Pinocchio? I don't know anyone with that name. Well besides that character in that mov…"
With a pointed finger towards Clyde, Emily announced he was 'Pinocchio.' "I'm on a spy mission with him and we have to go by different names. He's Pinocchio and I'm Sawyer Huckleberry. And now since you know about our little spy mission, I have no other choice but to bring you along. Until this mission is over, you'll be known as Doc Grumpy."
"That's a horrible alias. And besides I really don't think Jason poses a threat to Cly…"
"Hold that thought Doc Grumpy. I'm not taking any chances." Prentiss crawled over to where Gideon and Clyde were sitting. She then whispered into Clyde's ear, "Don't give him any information, Pinocchio. He's the enemy."
"Uh… My name's Clyde. And I'm supposed to tell Jason about myself. Miss Norton said so."
"Shh! Use your spy name!" Prentiss hissed at Clyde, before finally crawling back over to where Reid was sitting.
"Can we please get on with the interview?" Reid asked, slightly aggravated.
"Uh yeah, if you'd quit interrupting me."
"I'm interrupting you?!" You kept interrupting me because you were concerned about Pinocchio or Clyde or whatever his name is!" There was a hint of anger in Reid's voice.
"Spencer, please use your indoor voice." Miranda warned.
"I'm sorry, Miss Norton." Reid then turned his attention back to Prentiss. "What's your favorite color?"
"Red."
"Who's your favorite person?"
"Hmm… Well since me and the Pillsbury doughboy are no longer on speaking terms after last year's incident, I'll have to say my favorite person is Lucky Charms. He's such a nice little guy, but he does need to put more marshmallows in his cereal."
"Mmhm." Reid agreed. "Hey why aren't you talking to the Pillsbury doughboy anymore?"
Prentiss glanced around the room to make sure no one was listening or watching. When the coast was clear, she motioned for Reid to come closer to her. When he was just mere inches away from her face, she whispered, "Mommy got mad at him and she flattened him with a rolling pin and after that, she threw him in the oven and burned him alive."
A mix of shock and horror was written all over Reid's face. "Why would she do that?!"
Prentiss slowly inched herself away from her classmate. "I don't think we'll ever know. Some people just snap. But on the Brightside… Mr. Doughboy got turned into brownies in the afterlife and he was delicious!"
"I hope I get turned into brownies in the afterlife. Wait… no I don't. I really don't want to become someone's desserts. Anyway, what's your favorite movie?"
"The Outsiders, duh. You should know that. After all, it was my favorite movie last year." Prentiss said, slightly annoyed.
"Well you never know. You could change your mind. What's your favorite food?"
"Chicken salad."
"And what do you like to do?"
"I love kidnapping my neighbors' pet hamster and training it to be a spy."
"Oh well that seems interesting. Wait… Didn't your neighbors' have a cat? Cause last year, you said you were training their cat to be spy." The was a confused look on Reid's face.
"Yep, they did have a cat. But then one day, while on a spy mission, Mr. Snugglebottom climbed up a tree and never came back down or maybe he did? I guess we'll never know what really happened to him."
"That's an awful name for a cat."
"Yeah… that was just his spy name. His real name was Cheerio. And now, their pet hamster, Jellybean is currently on a spy mission under the alias Cricket Starkweather. Okay, my turn to interview you now!" Prentiss said as she clasped her hands together. "Where were you on the night of December 29 of last year and at approximately 9:57 pm? What information do you have on Silas Brenwell? Did you know that your father wears ladies underpants? Have you found Waldo, yet? And are you aware that the milkman is your real father?"
"First all, I was at home asleep in my own bed on that night and during that time. I don't even know who Silas Brenwell is. My daddy doesn't wear ladies underpants. No I haven't found Waldo yet. He's really good at playing hide and seek. And we don't have a milkman. And besides, you asked all the wrong questions. You're supposed to ask the ones, Miss Norton told us to ask."
"Uh… you used to have a milkman, until your fake daddy found out about him and your mommy's affair. And now for some mysterious reasons, he vanished into thin air. And those were the right questions. I'm a very good listener. You just don't know a good donut when you see one."
"That made no sense at all. And my answers to the real questions Miss Norton told us to ask each other are, my favorite color is blue. My favorite person is James Dean. I love watching East of Eden. My favorite food is chocolate. And I love to read."
"I make perfectly good sense, thank you very much, Doc Grumpy."
Clyde was twiddling his thumbs as Gideon interviewed him.
"What's your favorite color?"
"I like green."
"Who's your favorite person?"
"I really like my Aunt Cecilia. She's always bringing me presents whenever she visits me." Clyde said.
"What's your favorite movie?" Gideon asked.
Clyde thought for a few seconds before answering, "Hmm… I think my favorite movie would have to be the Lion King."
"What's your favorite food?" Gideon asked.
"Pizza."
"And what do you like to do?"
"I really like riding my bike, although I'm not very good at it, yet. I keep falling off it. Okay my turn to interview you." Clyde happily announced. "What's your favorite color?"
"Dark blue." Gideon replied.
"Who's your favorite person?"
"I really like my Grandpa Richard. He's really fun to be around."
"What's your favorite movie?" Clyde asked.
"My favorite movie is 101 Dalmatians." Gideon happily said.
"What's your favorite food?"
"Nachos."
"Okay and what do you like to do?"
"Definitely bird watching. I love birds!" There was a hint of excitement in Gideon's voice.
Haley and Beth were quietly sitting at their own desk and interviewing each other. Haley was telling Beth about herself first.
"So Haley, what's your favorite color?" Beth asked.
"Blue. I think that's a very pretty color." Haley truthfully replied.
"Who's your favorite person?"
"My sister Jessica. She's always nice to me."
"What's your favorite movie?"
"Rescuers Down Under."
"What's your favorite food?" Beth wondered.
"Taco salad. I could eat that for the rest of my life if my mommy and daddy would allow me too." Haley admitted with a smile and Beth returned a smile to her.
"Okay last question. What do you like to do?"
"I really like to draw, but I'm not very good at it though. I just enjoy it. Now I get to interview you." Haley said. "What's your favorite color?"
"I also like blue." Beth said.
"Yay! We have something in common!" Haley gleefully exclaimed. "Okay, who's your favorite person?"
"I actually have two favorite people. I love my mommy and daddy. It's really hard for me to choose between the two of them."
"I see what you mean there. So what's your favorite movie?"
"Snow-white and the Seven Dwarves."
"What's your favorite food?"
"Hmm… I think I'll have to go with chocolate chip pancakes on that one. Those are really good."
"And last question. What do you like to do?" Haley asked.
I love listening to my mommy and daddy read me bedtime stories every night. They always talk in these funny voices." Beth said.
Near the coat and backpack area, Hotch was asking Kevin questions.
"What's your favorite color?"
"Orange."
"Who's your favorite person?" Hotch asked.
"My uncle Garrett is my favorite person because he's always taking me to baseball games." Kevin said with a smile.
"What's your favorite movie?"
"The Fox and the Hound."
"What's your favorite food?"
"I love chili."
"Eh… it gives my little brother really bad gas a lot. I'm pretty sure he's the reason why we don't have any skunks at my house. Moving on, what do you like to do?" Hotch asked.
"I like to play catch." Kevin answered. Okay, now it's my turn to ask you questions. Hey, why are you looking inside Ashley's backpack?"
Hotch was rummaging through a pink backpack that belonged to Ashley. With his hand still in the bag and his eyes on Kevin, he simply replied with "Well if you should really know. It just so happens that the ice cream truck will be driving by today and I'm a little short on money. So I'm checking to see if Ashley has any."
"Aaron, the ice cream truck drives by every day. And don't you think it's wrong to be looking inside Ashley's backpack without her permission?" Kevin asked.
"Kevin, don't you think it's wrong for you to be asking me if I think it's wrong to be looking inside Ashley's backpack without her permission? If you're looking for an answer, then yes. It is wrong for you to be asking me that." Hotch then zipped up Ashley's backpack. "And besides, she's broke. No money at all. Well I guess you can ask me those other questions."
"Aren't you going to look inside everyone else's backpacks?"
"Jeez Kevin! Have some respect for other people's belongings. You can't just go snooping around in things that don't belong to you."
"But you were just looking in Ashley's backpack."
Hotch put up his hand in front of Kevin's face, "Kevin, please. I'm a changed man now. I've learned the error of my ways. I don't go down that path of life anymore. It's just no longer my style."
Kevin lightly swatted Hotch's hand away from his face, "I think I'd like to ask you those questions now. What's your favorite color?"
"Blue. I like blue."
"Who's your favorite person?"
"Well it used to be Mrs. Strauss, until I found out she was cheating on me. And I can't say Miss Norton because Derek's in love with her. I'd feel wrong about stealing another man's woman. So I guess my favorite person is Haley. Nobody's going to steal her away from me."
"But you stole her away from Spencer, last year in kindergarten."
"Kevin, you have really got to stop living in the past. While everyone else boarded the future bus, you were still stuck on the past bus. Get off it and aboard the future bus. That's the only way you can move on. And besides, Spencer doesn't even remember Haley." Hotch explained.
"Yeah he does. They were talking to each other this morning when we all got here." Kevin said.
"Kevin, please. I don't feel like arguing with you. Now let's move on with the questions."
"Okay… what's your favorite movie?"
"Aladdin."
"What's your favorite food?"
"Oatmeal."
"And what do you like to do?"
"I love riding my bike without the training wheels. That's really fun, but I almost ran over my next door neighbor, Mr. Rydel, last week because I didn't know how to stop the bike. Boy, was he mad?"
In the play area, were Will and Ashley. Ashley was twiddling her thumbs as Will asked her questions.
"What's your favorite color?"
"I like blue-violet."
"Who's your favorite person?" Will asked.
"I really like my cousin Julia." Ashley answered.
"What's your favorite movie?"
Ashley thought for a moment, before answering. "Pocahontas."
"What's your favorite food?"
"Spaghetti and meatballs."
"And what do you like to do?"
"I love to_"
"You love to take care of Baby Whiskers Bonbon." JJ had quietly crawled over and interrupted Ashley as she shoved her favorite doll in her face. Ashley and Will were both clearly frightened.
"JJ, get that away from me. It's scaring me." Ashley begged.
"What are you talking about? Baby Whiskers Bonbon is gorgeous. Even Will agrees with me. Don't you Will?"
With his hands over his eyes, Will replied to JJ's question. "No."
JJ gasped in shock and horror. "I can't believe you would say that about you own child. I mean, she looks just like you. Hey wait a minute! Why are you out on a date with Ashley?! Are you cheating on me?!"
"No JJ. I'm not out on a date with her. I'm asking her questions. And shouldn't you be getting back to where Garcia's sitting and asking her questions?" Will asked.
"Don't back talk me, mister! You're real lucky I left my soccer ball at home or you'd be going home with a black eye!" JJ threatened as Will cowered away from her and Ashley was shocked about her sudden outburst.
"Jennifer, are you threatening William?" Norton asked.
"Yes I am. Do you have a problem with that?" JJ glared at her teacher. "And call me JJ."
"Yes I do have a problem with that. We don't hurt each other in this class. Now I want you to apologize and go back to your partner. This assignment isn't over yet."
Obeying her teacher, JJ apologized to Will and then crawled back over to where Garcia was seated.
Will and Ashley resumed the conversation.
"Okay what do you like to do?" Will asked, once again.
"I love to sing, but I'm not very good at it." Ashley said.
"I can't sing very good either." Will admitted. "Okay, now you get to ask me questions."
"What's your favorite color?" Ashley asked.
"Green is my favorite color." Will answered.
"Who's your favorite person?"
"My daddy."
"What's your favorite movie?" Ashley wondered.
"Robin Hood." Will replied.
"What's your favorite food?"
I love fried chicken." Will said with a smile.
Ashley smiled back at him. "And what do you like to do?"
"I like to go swimming. Well, except in the winter time. Mommy and daddy says it's too cold to go swimming in that kind of weather."
Garcia was trying to ask JJ the questions, but was getting creeped out by her playing with that doll, Baby Whiskers Bonbon. JJ kept shoving the doll in Garcia's face, asking her to hold it.
"Come on, Penelope. It's only for a second. You'll really love her, once you hold her." JJ said.
"Stop it JJ, you're going to make me cry. That doll is scary!" Garcia whined.
In a shocked manner, JJ quickly pulled the doll away from Garcia's face. "How dare you say that, Penelope?! And you're supposed to be the nice one out of this entire class. What did Baby Whiskers Bonbon ever do to you to make you hate her so much?! I'll tell you what she did! Absolutely nothing! Nothing but be sweet and adorable!" JJ angrily whispered.
"Shegivesmenightmares." Garcia said so quickly that JJ didn't understand her.
"What?" A confused look had crossed JJ's face.
With a heavy sigh, Garcia repeated what she had just said to JJ. "I said that she gives me nightmares. Please don't hit me!" Garcia through her hands in front of her face to avoid being hit.
"Why would I hit you? You're just being funny and silly. You and I both know that Baby Whiskers Bonbon isn't capable of causing people's nightmares. She's too adorable for that." JJ laughed.
Garcia's hands were now away from her face, but there was a confused look on it, "Uh… yeah sure. Whatever you say, JJ. How about we get to those questions now? I'll ask you first. What's your favorite color?"
"Blue, definitely blue."
"Who is your favorite person?" Garcia asked.
"Hmm… I would say Will is, but I don't want to sound to clingy. So I guess I'll have to go with Baby Whiskers Bonbon. She's always there for me." JJ embraced her doll with a hug.
"I really wish she wasn't here right now or ever." Garcia mumbled.
"What was that?"
"Oh, I said, "At night the bright bear swished over the hill."." Garcia said, hoping JJ would believe her.
"Well that's an interesting thing to say. Did you get it out of a book?"
"Uh… yeah. It's a new book called "The Bright Night Bear." It's a really good book. You should have your mommy read it to you sometimes. Anyway, what's your favorite movie?"
"Definitely Beauty and The Beast."
"What's your favorite food?"
"Pizza. Definitely pizza. I don't know why anyone would hate it."
"And what do you like to do?" Garcia asked.
"I like to play soccer. You know, one time, my mommy and daddy took my soccer ball away from me, for two whole days?!"
"Why?"
"Because I accidently on purpose, hit my big sister, Roslyn with it. I want to ask you questions now!" JJ excitedly said. "What's your favorite color?"
"I love yellow. It's so pretty and bright." Garcia smiled when she answered.
"Who's your favorite person?"
"My cousin Camilla is my favorite person."
"What's your favorite movie?" JJ asked.
Garcia thought for a few moments before answering, "I'm going to have to say that my favorite movie would have to be Bambi. He such a cute little deer."
"What's your favorite food?" JJ continued with the questioning.
"I really love fried rice. I could eat that for the rest of my life if my mommy and daddy would let me."
"And what do you like to do?"
"Well that's an easy question. I love to pick flowers." Garcia smiled.
Rossi was now questioning Alex about herself. And Alex was answering as honest and best as she could.
"What's your favorite color?" Rossi asked.
"My favorite color is purple." Alex said.
"Who's your favorite person?"
"My mommy."
"What's your favorite movie?"
"Anastasia is my favorite movie in the whole wide world." Alex proudly said.
"What's your favorite food?"
"BLT sandwiches."
"Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches. That's what my daddy takes to work with him, everyday." Rossi stated.
"No, the kind of BLT sandwiches that I like, are bananas, licorice, and taffy." Alex said.
"Mmm… that sounds really good. You should tell me the recipe to it." Rossi said.
"It's just really easy. You just need two slices of bread, a chopped up banana, a few pieces of licorice and some taffy."
"I really hope I can remember that." There was a look of worry on Rossi's face.
"Don't worry, you'll remember it." Alex reassured him.
"I really hope you're right about that. Okay, last question. What do you like to do?"
"I like to fix jigsaw puzzles with my mommy. They're a lot of fun, but they're also not very easy either. Since last week, we've been working on a three thousand piece puzzle. Mommy says it's going to take a while to get it done. I want to ask you questions now!" Alex demanded.
"Okay, ask and I'll answer." Rossi said.
"What's your favorite color?" Alex asked.
"I like green." Rossi said.
"Who's your favorite person?"
"I also love my mommy."
"You better not be talking about my mommy. You know very well that you belong to those cookie making elves." Prentiss was now at Rossi's side with an angry look on her face.
"I'll never tell you who I'm talking about." Rossi taunted.
"Is your mommy and daddy really those elves who make all those cookies?" Alex wondered in amazement.
"Yes Alex, they are, but there is no need to give David any special treatment. He's just like everyone else here, but the only difference is that he's a mommy stealer." Prentiss glared at Rossi.
"It's not my fault that she loves me more." Rossi smiled.
"Emily, you need to stop bothering David and Alex. Let them finish their project." Miranda said.
Prentiss started to go back to where Reid was, but not before turning back around and pointing a finger at Rossi, while saying, "This isn't over yet."
Alex went back to questioning Rossi, "So what's your favorite movie?"
"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer."
"What's your favorite food?"
"Oh I really like pizza. I'll eat any flavor of it."
"Not me. Pepperoni is my favorite kind." Alex said. "And what do you like to do?"
"Well, I would say that I like to shoot birds, but I said that last year in Kindergarten and I made Jason cry. And I really don't want that to happen again. So I guess my next favorite thing to do is, play video games."
Miranda was sitting in her chair at her desk and Anderson was sitting in a smaller seat beside her. He was clearly upset as to why she got the more comfortable chair.
"That's not fair, Miss Norton!" Anderson whined.
"What isn't fair, Grant?" Miranda kindly asked.
"Why do you get to sit in the more comfy chair?"
"Because she's my girlfriend and she gets whatever she wants." Morgan chimed in from right in front of the desk.
With a small laugh, Miranda said, "Derek, I'm quite charmed, but I don't think you want me as your girlfriend. I enjoy being your teacher."
"Yeah, Derek! Now get back to work!" Anderson glared at Morgan.
Morgan glared back at Anderson, "You better not be trying to steal my girlfriend from me or we'll be starting a war."
"Alright you two. Let's not have any violence here. Let's just get back to work." Miranda said.
"Seriously, Miss Norton. Why do you get that chair?" Anderson asked.
"Because I'm the teacher."
"But I want to sit in it!" Anderson whined.
"Alright sweetheart, calm down. I'll let you sit in it, for right now."
Anderson was very excited to his teacher say that to him.
"Thank you!" Anderson proudly said as he sat down in the comfortable chair.
"You're very welcome. Now should I ask you questions first or do you want to ask first?"
"I want to ask first! What's your favorite color?"
"Oh I just love all the colors. It's very hard for me to pick just one."
"Who's your favorite person?"
"It's me! She loves me! I'm her favorite person!" Once again, Morgan chimed in.
"No Derek, I love each and everyone in this classroom, equally." Miranda said with a laugh.
"I'm just going to pretend that you're only saying that so no one's feelings will get hurt." Morgan winked at Miranda and turned his attention back to Jordan.
Miranda then turned her attention back to Anderson, "My favorite person is my great Aunt Catherine. She's always very kind."
"What's your favorite movie?"
"I've always liked It's a Wonderful Life. It's such a great classic." Miranda smiled and Anderson smiled back at her.
"Hey, stop flirting with my girlfriend!" Morgan angrily said to Anderson.
"I'm not flirting with her! She smiled at me first and I was just being nice and smiled back at her!"Anderson hastily retorted back.
"Well, I don't like it when you smile at her." Morgan said.
"It's a free country. I can smile at anyone I want." Anderson said.
"Derek, Grant, do you two want to go into time out?" Miranda question.
"Uh uh!" Both boys said in unison.
"Okay, then. Let's stops the arguing." Derek, you really need to get back to your partner."
"Anything for you, my sweet pumpkin spice roll." Morgan winked at Miranda and then did what he was told.
"Did he just wink at me or am I imagining things? And I could have sworn he called me "sweet pumpkin spice roll." He's a very strange little boy." Miranda thought to herself. "Alright Grant, you may continue with the questions."
"What's your favorite food?"
"Broccoli and cheese."
"Yuck! I hate vegetables, but my mommy and daddy makes me eat them." Anderson said in disgust.
"I think your mommy and daddy wants you to be strong. That's why they make you eat vegetables. Vegetables are good for your health."
"I just don't like them." Anderson said. "Okay last question, what do you like to do?"
"I really enjoy volunteering at the local pet center. I just love animals."
"Really?! I have a pet frog named Kermit."
"I bet he's a really great frog. Now how about I ask you some questions?"
"Okay." Anderson said.
"What's your favorite color?" Miranda asked.
"I like green."
"Who's your favorite person?"
"I really like my cousin Amelia. She's the one who got me my pet frog."
"Wow, she seems like a really cool cousin." Miranda smiled. "What's your favorite movie?"
"The Jungle Book." Anderson said.
"What's your favorite food?"
"Lasagna."
"Alright last question, what do you like to do?"
"I like to play water gun fights with my cousins."
"Well, that sounds like a lot of fun."
"It is."
Morgan had his ear pressed up against the front of Miranda's desk, while Jordan was trying to interview him. She was starting to get very frustrated with her classmate.
"Derek, you supposed to be listening to me!" Jordan snapped.
"Calm down, Jordan. I'm trying to listen to what Grant is saying to my girl. You know how he is. Always taking other men's women away from them."
"Miss Norton, Derek won't answer any of my questions! He says he's too busy listening to you and Grant talk." Jordan whined.
"Derek, you really need to listen to Jordan, okay?" Miranda said.
"Okay, fine." Morgan huffed and then turned his attention to Jordan.
"About time." Jordan mumbled. "Okay, what's your favorite color?"
Morgan began knocking on the front of Miranda's desk, getting her attention.
"Derek, is that you?"
"Yes, Pookie Pie, it's me. I was just wondering what's your favorite color?"
Miranda's face was a shade of red, but she calmly answered the young child. "I like all the colors. I can't just pick one."
"Thanks my apple blossom." Morgan than turned his attention back to Jordan. "Hmm… I really don't like all the colors. So I guess my favorite color is green."
"Who's your favorite person?" Jordan asked.
"Well that's an easy one. My favorite person is my sweet buttercup, Miss Norton." Morgan said, dreamily.
Jordan rolled her eyes. "How about your favorite movie? What is it?"
"Tarzan. Definitely that movie. Everyone says I look just like him, except my six pack abs are real and his is just fake. See?" Morgan proudly said as he raised up his shirt.
"Yeah… I'm not impressed." Jordan replied. "Anyway, moving on. What's your favorite food?"
"Not impressed? How can you not be impressed with my amazing six pack abs? Do you know how long it took me to get abs like these?" Morgan asked in a shocked tone, completely ignoring her question about his favorite food.
"No and I really don't care. You're supposed to stay focused and answer the questions. What's your favorite movie?" Jordan asked, once again.
Ignoring her questioned, once again, Morgan climb onto a nearby desk, other than the teacher's and pulled off his shirt. "Attention ladies! No, not you, Spencer! I have amazing abs, right?!"
"PUT YOUR SHIRT BACK ON!" All the girls loudly shouted.
"Girls, use your indoor voices and Derek, put your shirt back on. You know the dress code." Miranda said.
Morgan stepped down from the desk and put his shirt back on himself. "How else is everyone supposed to see how my abs? They need to breathe, you know?"
"Derek, your abs are fine. Now please finish answering Jordan's questions." Miranda said.
Obeying the teacher, Morgan finally answered Jordan's question. "My favorite food is chicken nuggets."
"And what do you like to do?" Jordan asked.
"I love to work out. Gotta stay in shape for the ladies. You wanna see me do some push-ups? I'm really good at them." Derek was about to do some push-ups, until Jordan stopped him.
"No, no. I believe you. How about you ask me some questions now?" She suggested.
"Well, alright then, but usually the ladies love to watch me work out." Morgan said. "So, what's your favorite color?"
"Violet. I think that's a pretty color."
"How about your favorite person? Who is it? Wait, don't tell me, I know who it is."
"You do?" Jordan was clearly confused.
"Yep, it's me. Ladies love me." Morgan said with a smile.
"Uh… no. No it's not. My favorite person is my mommy." Jordan replied.
"Your mommy? Well, that's a first. Most girls would choose me as their favorite person."
Jordan placed a hand on Morgan's shoulder and said, "No, Derek. No they wouldn't. You're just way too full of yourself."
"Ouch, you really know how to bring a man down." Morgan placed a hand over his chest as if his heart were broken. "What's your favorite movie?"
"I like Peter Pan."
"What's your favorite food?"
"I like grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup."
"And last question, what do you like to do?" Morgan asked.
"I love to jump rope. That's a ton of fun." Jordan said as she smiled.
After everyone was finished interviewing each other, they were all back to their desks. Miranda was standing at the front of the room. All eyes were on her as she spoke.
"Alright, children. I hope I have given you enough time to get to know each other. Now, I'm going to call each of you up to the front of the room and I want you to tell us what you learned about your partner. Grant, how about you and I go first?"
End of chapter four. Again, I am terribly sorry for making you all wait this long for this chapter. But at least, it's a fairly long chapter. The next chapter is a sequel to this chapter. I would have just added it all to this chapter, but I figured, splitting it up would be better. I'll try to have it posted as soon as possible. Oh and please leave a review for this chapter. I'd really appreciate it if you all did that.
