A/N: I know what you all are probably thinking. You probably thought I had abandoned this fic. Well, the answer is no. No I did not abandon it. I have been busy with my other fics and they caused me to put this one to the side for a bit. So I have absolutely no intentions of giving up on it. This one just happens to be a very slow process. Everyone had just finished interviewing each other and now, all eyes were on Miranda and Anderson, who were standing at the front of the classroom.
"WOOOOO! PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER FOR AGENTS BAKED POTATO AND TATOR TOT!" Prentiss shouted at the top of her lungs as the other children gave a round of applause.
"Emily, you know that we don't shout while we're indoors." Miranda gave Emily a stern look.
"Sorry, I was just really excited for the two of you." Prentiss said.
"I forgive you, but if it happens again, I'm going to have to put you in time out. Understand?"
"Mmhm."
"Alright, class. I've learned so much about Grant today. I learned that his favorite color is green. His cousin Amelia is his favorite person. He enjoys watching "The Jungle Book". Lasagna is his favorite food. And he likes to play water gun fights with his cousins. Okay, Grant, would you like to share with the class what you learned about me today?" Miranda gave Anderson a smile.
"Sure." Anderson said. Miss Norton told me that she likes all the colors. Her Aunt Catherine is her favorite person. Her favorite movie is "It's A Wonderful Life". Broccoli and Cheese is her favorite food. And she likes to help at the local pet center."
Miranda remained standing at the front of the room and Anderson sat back down at his desk. Miranda scanned the room with her eyes, for the next two people.
"Jason and Clyde? Would you two like to go next?"
Gideon and Clyde both nodded their heads in agreement and walked to the front of the room. Miranda soon sat down at her desk.
"WOOO! LET'S HEAR IT FOR AGENTS TOASTER AND PINOCCHIO!" Once again, Prentiss shouted at the top of her lungs, earning a disappointing look from her teacher.
"Emily, I'm sorry, but I've already given you a warning. You have to go sit in time out for five minutes." Miranda said.
Prentiss happily skipped to the time out area in the back of the room as she received a look from Miranda.
"I never thought I'd see the day where a child is happy to be in time out." She thought to herself. "Jason and Clyde, you may proceed."
"Jason's favorite color is dark blue. His Grandpa Richard is his favorite person. His favorite movie is "101 Dalmatians." Nachos are his favorite food. And he likes to watch birds." Clyde said.
"Looks like we've learned quite a lot about Jason. Jason, how about you tell us what you learned about Clyde?" Miranda asked with a smile.
"Okay, green is Clyde's favorite color. His Aunt Cecilia is his favorite person because she always brings presents when she visits him. He likes to watch "The Lion King." Pizza is his favorite food. And he likes riding his bike."
"Thank you both for sharing what you learned about each other, with the rest of us." Miranda said. Her eyes scanned the room once again, until she found the next two. "Derek and Jordan, I think we'd all like to learn about the two of you."
Morgan and Jordan walked to the front of the room, as Gideon and Clyde sat back down at their desks.
"WOOO! LET'S GO AGENTS BUFFY THE CUPCAKE SLAYER AND HOT HAM AND OATMEAL SANDWICH!" Prentiss shouted at the top of her lungs receiving, yet another stern and disappointing look from her teacher.
"Emily, do I need to send you to the principal's office?"
"Ewe! I don't want to go there! I have to go home with her, everyday!" Prentiss said in disgust.
"Well, I don't want any more shouting from you. Do you understand?"
"Mmhm." Prentiss said as she nodded her head in a 'yes' motion.
"Miss Norton!" Rossi hand quickly shot up in the air.
"Yes, David? Is there something you need?"
"Can I please go the principal's office?"
"No David, you may not."
"Why not?" Rossi pouted.
"Because you haven't done anything bad to earn a trip to the principal's office."
"I stole some water out of the water fountain." Rossi said.
"David, that water is free."
"Well, I'm going. I want to see my friend." JJ was nearly out the door, until Miranda stopped her.
"Jennifer, get back to your seat. No one is leaving this room."
"It's JJ!"
"Well, it's Jennifer when you're in trouble." Miranda said.
JJ walked past her seat and straight to the time out area, sitting down next to Prentiss.
"Jennifer, you need to be at your desk. I didn't tell you to join Emily in time out."
"Maybe Emily is lonely." JJ said.
"Oh no I'm not! This is like my home away from home!" But you can stay here if you want. Everyone is welcome at "Emily's Place"." Prentiss said as she used air quotes for the last two words.
"Alright, Jennifer. You can sit there with Emily as long as you both pay attention." Miranda said.
"We will! I promise!" JJ happily said. She then whispered into Prentiss' ear, "I told you she would finally give in."
Miranda turned her attention back to Morgan and Jordan and nodded for them to proceed. All eyes were now on the two of them.
"Ladies first." Morgan flashed a smile towards Jordan.
Jordan half smiled at Morgan and began to tell her teacher and classmates what she had learned about Morgan.
"Derek's favorite color is green. His favorite person is Miss Norton. Tarzan is his favorite movie. Chicken nuggets are his favorite food. And he loves to exercise a lot."
After Jordan had finished telling everyone about Morgan, it was then Morgan's turn to tell everyone about her.
"Violet is Jordan's favorite color. She says that her mommy is her favorite person. "Peter Pan" is her favorite movie. She likes to eat grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. And she loves to jump rope.
"Thank you both for sharing what you learned about each other. Alright, how about we let Elle and Maeve go next?" Miranda was looking at the two girls when she spoke.
Morgan and Jordan returned to their desks and Elle and Maeve walked to the front of the room.
"Show us what you got, Agents Princess Peanut Butter Head and Jelly Bean Salsa!" Prentiss said, this time not shouting, but loud enough for everyone to hear her.
"I told you not to call me Peanut Butter Head anymore!" Elle angry stamped her foot and pouted.
"Hey, this time I called you Princess Peanut Butter Head and we all know how you love be called a Princess." Prentiss pointed out.
"Well, yeah I love being called a Princess because I am one, but I'm not a peanut butter head!"
Miranda gave Prentiss a stern look and said "Emily, please don't call Elle that. She doesn't like it, okay?"
"Okay, but I was just calling her it because it's her spy name. I gave everyone in this room as spy name." Prentiss tried to explain.
"I love my spy name!" Morgan gleefully exclaimed.
"Thanks! At least someone appreciates my creativity. Unlike some people." Prentiss glared at Elle.
"Alright, let's allow Elle and Maeve to tell us about what they learned about each other today." Miranda said.
"I'm going first because I'm a princess." Elle said as she received a lot of eye rolls from her classmates, but she failed to notice. "Today, I learned from Maeve that her favorite color is blue. Her Grandma Millicent is her favorite person. She really likes "The Aristocats." Her favorite food is shrimp. And she likes to go fishing."
After Elle had finished talking, Maeve began to tell everyone what she had learned about Elle.
"Pink is Elle's favorite color. Her daddy is her favorite person. She says that her favorite movie is "Cinderella." She loves to eat chicken fajitas. And she loves being a princess."
"Thank you for telling us what you learned about each other. You may return to you desks." Miranda said as Elle and Maeve walked back to their desks. Her eyes scanned the room again for the next two students. "Aaron and Kevin, would you like to go next?"
Kevin and Hotch both nodded their heads in a 'yes' motion and proceeded to walk to the front of the room.
"Tell us all about yourselves Agents Pop Tart and Wicked Evil Queen!" Prentiss said.
"Am I Wicked Evil Queen?" Hotch asked.
"Yep." Prentiss replied.
"YES!" Hotch happily pumped his fist into the air.
"Wait, what flavor of pop tart am I?" Kevin asked.
"Um…. I guess you can be cherry flavor?" Prentiss said in sort of a questioning way.
"Oh man! I was really hoping I could be bacon flavored!" Kevin disappointedly said.
"Then your wish is granted! You're now known as Agent Bacon Pop Tart." Prentiss said.
"Yay!" Kevin joyfully exclaimed.
"Okay… let's move on with the interviews." Miranda said as she gave the children a strange look.
"Agent Bacon Pop Tart, I'll allow you to go first." Hotch said to Kevin.
"Thanks Agent Wicked Evil Queen." Kevin said. He then began to tell everyone what he had learned about Hotch. "Agent Wicked Queen told me that his fav…."
"Kevin, how about we use our real names instead, okay?" Miranda interrupted him.
"Oh okay, but it just makes it less fun." Kevin sighed, sadly as Hotch agreed with him.
"Well I'm sorry, but we need to use our real names." Miranda said.
"Fine." Kevin huffed as he continued to speak. "Today Aaron told me that his favorite color is blue. His favorite person is Haley. "Aladdin" is his favorite movie. He likes to eat oatmeal. And he loves riding his bike without the training wheels."
It was then Hotch's turn to speak. "Agent Bacon Pop Tart, I mean "Kevin", Hotch used air quotes when he spoke Kevin's name. "told me that his favorite color is orange. His uncle Garrett is his favorite person. His favorite movie is "The Fox and the Hound." Chili is his favorite food. And he likes to play catch."
"It was very nice of you both to share what you learned about each other, with us. Thank you both. You may return to your desks." Miranda said as the two boys returned to their desks and she scanned the room with her eyes for the next two children. "Okay, let's go with William and Ashley, next."
"Don't hold anything back Agents Pufflehuff and Salad Bar! Tell us everything about yourselves!" Prentiss received strange looks from not only Miranda, but also from Will and Ashley.
"How do you come up with these names?!" Will asked in amazement.
"I'm a very creative person." That was Prentiss' only reply.
"Okay… let's just move on with the interviews. Will, Ashley, whenever you're ready." Miranda said.
Ashley was the first to speak. "Will's favorite color is green. His daddy is his favorite person. His favorite movie is "Robin Hood." He loves to eat fried chicken. And he likes to go swimming."
Will then began to speak after Ashley had finished telling the class about him. "Ashley's favorite color is blue-violet. Her cousin Julia is her favorite person. "Pocahontas" is her favorite movie. She likes to eat spaghetti and meatballs. And she likes to sing."
"No! She doesn't! She told me that she loves taking care of Baby Whiskers Bonbon!" JJ held her doll up in the air and everyone shrieked in terror. "I know. I know. She's the most beautiful thing you have all ever saw. Don't you all agree? You all better say yes, or your faces will be meeting my soccer ball, soon."
Not wanting to be hit with a soccer ball, everyone nodded their heads in agreement.
"Jennifer, it isn't very nice to threaten anyone." Miranda said.
"It's JJ. When are you going to get that right?" JJ glared.
"Well, I'll only call you JJ when you're not getting into trouble. Now, let's move on. Will, Ashley, thank you both for sharing that with us. You two may return to your desk. Next up, I would like to hear from Alex and David." Miranda said as Will and Ashley sat down and Rossi and Alex approached the center of the room.
"Don't tell us any lies, Agents Mommy Stealer and Believes Everything I Tell Her!" Prentiss said.
"I bet I'm Agent Mommy Stealer." Rossi grinned.
Prentiss glared at her classmate and said, "You're darn right you are!"
"Language please. We don't talk that way in this classroom." Miranda said.
"Why am I Agent Believes Everything I Tell Her? I don't believe everything you tell me!" Alex said in sort of a whiny voice.
"Of course I know you don't believe everything I tell you. Hey, did you know that Aaron sleeps in a suit and tie?"
"Really?" Alex asked in amazement.
"No! Why would anyone do that?! You'd have to be crazy to sleep in something like that!" Prentiss announced.
"Uh, actually I really do sleep in suit and tie pajamas and no I'm not crazy! Thank you very much!" Hotch retorted.
"Okay, let's allow David and Alex to share what they about each other, with us." Miranda said.
"Since you're a girl, I'll allow you to talk first." Rossi said.
Alex smiled at her classmate and said, "Thanks, David." She then began to tell everyone what she had learned about Rossi. "David's favorite color is green. His mommy is his favorite person. He likes….."
"If you're talking about my mommy being your favorite mommy, then I' m going to be so mad!" Prentiss glared angry at Rossi.
"I can call her mommy, if I want to! It's not against the law!" Rossi stuck his tongue out at Prentiss.
"It's against my law! And you better put that tongue back in your mouth or you'll be waking up tomorrow, with it glued to your forehead!"
"Ooooh." Came the replies of many of the children.
"That's enough from both of you." Miranda finally spoke up.
"Tell him to stop trying to steal my mommy from me!" Prentiss demanded while pointing a finger at Rossi.
"Emily, I'm sure David isn't trying to steal your mommy away from you. I think he just likes her and considers her as a second mother to him. But, David, if Emily doesn't like what you've been doing, then maybe you should stop, okay. We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings." Miranda explained.
"But she's my mommy, I have to call her that!" Rossi complained.
"Oh no you don't and you won't! Your mommy is one of those delicious cookie making elves! Anyone would be lucky to have them as parents!" Prentiss retorted.
"Okay, I've heard enough arguing from both of you. Let's continue on with the presentations, without anymore interruptions. Alex, please continue what you were saying." Miranda said.
Alex continued what she had been saying, moments ago. "David's favorite movie is "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." Pizza is his favorite food. And he likes to play video games."
Gideon breathed a sigh of relief and thought to himself, "I'm glad she didn't say that David likes to shoot birds. I'd be crying, just like last year."
Rossi then began to tell the class about Alex.
"Purple is Alex's favorite color. Her mommy is her favorite person. "Anastasia" is her favorite movie. She likes to eat BLT sandwiches, and just so you know, we're talking about bananas, licorice and taffy. And she likes to fix jigsaw puzzles with her mommy."
"Thank you, David and Alex for sharing what you learned about each other, with us. You may both return to your desks. Now, I would like to hear from Haley and Beth." Miranda said.
When Rossi and Alex sat down at their desks, Haley and Beth approached the front of the classroom.
"All eyes on Agents Rumpelstiltskin and Stalker!" Prentiss announced as she got yet, another glance from her teacher.
"Haley and Beth, you may start your presentations." Miranda said.
Haley had decided to let Beth talk first. So Beth, began telling everyone all about Haley.
Haley told me that blue is her favorite color. Her sister Jessica is her favorite person. "Rescuers Down Under" is her favorite movie. She likes to eat taco salad. And she likes to draw."
Haley then began telling everyone what she had learned about Beth.
"Blue is also Beth's favorite color. Both…"
"I knew it! I knew Beth was a stalker!" Prentiss interrupted.
"I am not! Why would you call me that?!"
"Because you and Haley like the same color and Haley said it before you did." Prentiss said.
"There's nothing wrong with Beth liking the same color as me." Haley tried to reason with Prentiss.
"Haley, you're just saying that so you don't have to walk by the dolphins on your way home from school." Prentiss said.
"What are you talking about?" Haley was clearly confused.
"You know what I'm talking about, Haley. You're just afraid to lose friends, if you admit it." Prentiss accused.
"I love dolphins. Why would I be afraid of them?"
"Don't you remember, Haley? Last year? When we were riding our bikes down the street and those dolphins jumped out from behind a tree and took your bike?"
"Uh… Emily, that never happened." Haley said.
"Yes it did."
"No it didn't."
"Yes it did."
"No it…"
"Okay, girls. That's enough. Let's just listen to the interviews now." Miranda said before the argument could go any further.
Haley continued with what she was saying before she had been interrupted by Prentiss, a few moments ago. "Beth told me that she loves both her mommy and daddy and that she can't choose between them. "Snow White And The Seven Dwarves" is her favorite movie. She likes to eat chocolate chip pancakes. And she loves it when her mommy and daddy read her bedtime stories every night because they talk in funny voices."
"Thank you both for sharing what you learned about each other. Okay, Penelope and JJ are up next." Miranda said as Haley and Beth returned to their desk.
"It's about time you learned to call me, JJ." JJ said as she and Garcia walked to the front of the room.
"Everybody turn your attention to Agents Only One Who Loves Baby Whiskers Bonbon and Rainbow Chip Pretzel!" Prentiss said.
"Emily, you're so funny! We all know Baby Whiskers Bonbon is loved by everyone!" JJ said with a laugh.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night." Prentiss said.
"Anyway, Penelope and I talked and we both agreed that she would go first." JJ said.
"We never talked about who's going first, but if you say so." Penelope began to tell everyone what she had learned about JJ. "JJ's favorite color is blue. Baby Whiskers Bonbon is her favorite person. "Beauty and the Beast" is her favorite movie. She likes to eat pizza. And she likes to play soccer."
"Baby Whiskers Bonbon isn't a real person!" Elle complained.
Everyone was shocked at Elle's bravery. There were even a few gasps around the room. JJ eyed Elle with a very angry look and said, "Baby Whiskers Bonbon is as much real as you are!"
"No she isn't. Right, Miss Norton?" Elle asked.
"JJ, I'm sorry, but Elle is right. Baby Whiskers Bonbon is only a doll. She's not a real person. So you need to think of a real person as your favorite person." Miranda said.
"Well, Baby Whiskers Bonbon might not be real to any of you, but she is to me. And if you insist on me picking someone else as my favorite person, well, then I guess I will, just to make you all happy! Elle, I choose you. You're my favorite person."
"Really?! Elle was shocked that she had been chosen as JJ favorite person.
"You're the first name that popped into my head. I bet you feel pretty lucky right now. Anyway, I want to tell you all about Penelope." JJ then began telling everyone about Garcia. "Penelope's favorite color is yellow. Her cousin Camilla is her favorite person. "Bambi" is her favorite movie. She loves to eat fried rice. And she loves to pick flowers."
Thank you both for sharing what you learned about each other. Okay, Emily and Spencer, you're up now." Miranda said as JJ and Garcia returned to their desks.
Reid was in the process of getting up from his chair, until Prentiss quickly grabbed his hand and said, "Let's go Agent Doc Grumpy! Everyone is waiting for us!" She then proceeded to drag him to the front of the classroom. "Just so you all know, I'm Agent Sawyer Huckleberry."
"Seriously, what is up with her and these unusual spy names? That child has quite the imagination." Miranda thought to herself. "Alright, whenever you two are ready, you may begin."
"Thank you, Miss Norris." Reid said. He then looked at his Prentiss and asked, "Emily, do you want to go first?"
Prentiss glared at him and said, "What did I say about using our real names during our spy missions? It's not safe! And no thanks, Doc Grumpy. I don't want to go first. I think you should go first, so you can overcome your fear of bow ties."
"I'm not afraid of bow ties." Reid said.
"Yes you are! Don't you remember? You told us you were afraid of them. Why do you think Agent Wicked Evil Queen wears ties? He wears them so you won't be afraid."
"That isn't the reason why he wears them. He wears them because he likes them." Reid said.
"Yes it is." Prentiss argued. She then turned her attention to Hotch and said, "Tell him, Agent Wicked Evil Queen. Tell Agent Doc Grumpy why you wear ties."
"I wear ties because I like them." Hotch admitted.
"Mind your own business, Agent Wicked Evil Queen. No one asked for your opinion." Prentiss said.
"You just did!" Hotch said.
"Let's move on with the interviews. Spencer, you're going first, right?" Miranda asked.
"I guess I am." Reid then began telling the class about Prentiss. "Emily's favorite color is red. Her favorite person is Lucky Charms. "The Outsiders" is her favorite movie. Emily's favorite food is chicken salad. And she loves kidnapping her neighbor's pet hamster and training it to be a spy."
"Prentiss then began telling everyone about Reid. "You are not going to believe what I learned about Agent Doc Grumpy today! On the night of…"
"Emily, please use Spencer's real name. Thank you." Miranda interrupted.
"Didn't your mommy and daddy ever tell you that it's rude to interrupt someone else while they're talking?" Prentiss asked.
"Emily, I am the adult here. You don't get to tell me what to do. Now, please use Spencer's real name. Not the spy name you have given him."
"Fine!" Prentiss huffed. She then continued what she was saying. "Anyway, on the night of December 29 of last year at 9:57 pm "Spencer" was at home asleep in his own bed. He has no information on Silas Brenwell because he doesn't know him or that's what he claims. His father doesn't wear ladies underpants, but we all know that's a lie. He has not found Waldo, yet. In fact, I really don't think anyone will be ever able to find him. And he wasn't aware that the milkman was his real father, at least not until I told him."
"Emily, that's not the answers I expecting." Miranda gave Prentiss a stern look.
"I agree, Miss Norton. Agent Doc Grumpy is clearly hiding something from us. Let's torture him until he gives us the information we want!" Prentiss pumped her small fists in the air.
"What?!" Reid was clearly terrified of his classmate's idea.
"We're not torturing anyone. And Emily, you are to call him Spencer. And I meant that those are not the answers to my questions that you were supposed to ask. Now please tell us all what you learned about Spencer today."
"I never get to have any fun around here!" Prentiss pouted.
"Emily." Miranda said in a warning tone.
"Doc Grumpy, oops I mean "Spencer's" favorite color is blue. James Dean is his favorite person. He loves to watch "East of Eden." Chocolate is his favorite food. And he loves to read."
"Thank you, Spencer and Emily for sharing that information with us." Miranda said.
"Miss Norton! Miss Norton!" Elle was frantically waving her hand in the air.
"What is it, Elle?" Miranda asked.
"Lucky Charms isn't a real person either. He's just a cartoon character. Emily should pick a real person." Elle explained.
"Elle, just because your mommy and daddy didn't get you the Barbie Double Wide Trailer Dollhouse, it doesn't give you the right to go around crushing everyone's spirits. First you crush my spirit by saying Baby Whiskers Bonbon isn't real. And now you're crushing Emily's spirit. Well, I guess next time you pour yourself a bowl of Lucky Charms Cereal, there won't be any marshmallows, since you don't believe in the poor little Leprechaun." JJ glared at Elle.
"Miss Norton! Is that true?! Am I not going to have any marshmallows in my cereal, anymore?!" Elle was terrified at what the answer may be.
"There's nothing to be afraid of Elle. Your cereal will still have the marshmallows." Miranda reassured the frightened little girl. Elle breathed a sigh of relief. Miranda then turned her attention to Prentiss and said, "Emily, I'm sorry, but Elle's right. You need to think of someone who is real. JJ had to switch her favorite person with a real person and it's only fair that you do too."
"Just so we're all clear here, I didn't haven't anything to do with this. I was perfectly fine with Lucky Charms being your favorite person." JJ said.
"Thanks for the support, Agent Only One Who Loves Baby Whiskers Bonbon, but I suppose I must find a new favorite person." Prentiss sadly said as she became silent for a few moments. She then happily exclaimed, " Agent Only One Who Loves Baby Whiskers Bonbon! It's you! You are my favorite person!"
JJ then stood on top of her desk and did a strange little dance while saying, "Wooo! It's about time I'm someone's favorite person!"
"JJ, get off the desk, please. It is not to be stood on. And Emily, thank you for switching your favorite person with a real person, but please use JJ real name, okay?" Miranda said.
"Okay." Prentiss said.
