A/N: OMG! I am so sorry for making you all wait this long for this chapter! I know it's been over seven months since I've last updated this and I am truly sorry. I didn't abandoned this fic, I've just been neglecting it because I've been so focused on my other fics. But don't worry, I'm going to try and to my best to stay more focused on this one. This chapter is a fairly long chapter, so I hope that makes up for the long wait. It may not be the best chapter you'll ever read, but at least it's more than five hundred words. Anyway… I hope you all will enjoy it. Oh and by the way, thanks so much for the reviews for the previous chapter.

It was the middle of the day and each student had a parent with them. The only student who didn't have a parent with them, was Prentiss, but her parent would arrive very soon. Today was career day. All eyes were at the front of the classroom as they listened to Miranda speak.

"I am very honored and pleased to have all the parents here with us today. Now as you all know by now, today is career day. In a moment, I want each of you to introduce your mommy or daddy to us and then we will give them each three minutes to tell us what kind of work they do. "

"Miss Norton?" Maeve raised her hand.

"Yes, Maeve? Can I help you with something?"

"Emily doesn't have a mommy or a daddy with her, today."

"That's alright, Maeve. Her mommy will be here, very soon. Right now, she's in a meeting with another student's parents."

"And my daddy is away on some talk show, trying to deny some other lady's baby. It's like his tenth appearance on the show." Prentiss said, lying.

"Really?" Alex asked in a shocked tone.

"Mmhm. My daddy is quite famous on that show." Prentiss nodded her head as she spoke.

"Emily, I don't think that's where your daddy is. Your mommy told me that he travels the world on business trips." Miranda said.

"That's what she said, but we all know that's just code talk for talk show." Prentiss replied with a smirk.

"Wow, she has quite an active imagination!" Miranda thought to herself. "Okay, how about we just move right along here and introduce our first parent. Who would like to go first?"

Every student in that classroom suddenly had their hands raised, including Prentiss.

"Emily, I'm sorry but you can't go first. You're mommy isn't here, yet." Miranda said, apologetically.

"Oh, I wasn't raising my hand to go first, I just have a question." Prentiss said.

"What would you like to ask me, sweetheart?"

"Are you just trying to avoid the conversation about my daddy being on that talk show? Because that's how it seems." Prentiss eyed her teacher, suspiciously.

Miranda could feel Prentiss' eyes on her. It was almost as if they were burning right into her. She had to think of something to say, before things got more awkward.

"Of course not, sweetheart. It's just that we're on a very tight schedule here and if we continue to talk about what your daddy is doing right now, then some of the parents here, won't be able to tell us what kind of work they do. And we don't want to take up their time, do we?"

Prentiss continued to eye her teacher, until a smile spread across her lips and she said, "I see what you mean, but a simple yes or no would have been fine. No need for an explanation."

"Okay… well let's just move right along here." Miranda's eyes scanned the room, before settling on a student. "Grant, I think you should go first."

Anderson approached the front of the room with his mom. He then began to introduce her to everyone. "This is my mommy, and she works at the hospital." Anderson then looked up at his mom and said, "Okay mommy, you can talk now. Tell everyone what you do at the hospital."

She smiled at her son and lightly ruffled his hair and said, "Thanks sweetheart." She then began to tell the class about her career. "Hello everyone. My name is Michelle Anderson and I am a nurse at the hospital. Whenever someone comes in with an injury or they're sick, I help take care of them. I also sometimes have to do lots of paperwork and offer emotional support and advice to the families of the patients that I take care of. My job does get a little difficult sometimes, but I love it though because it's very rewarding to be able to help save someone's life."

"Thank you very much, Michelle for telling us about your career. And thank you Grant for introducing your mommy to us. Alright, who would like to go next?" Miranda asked as everyone's hands went up. "Penelope, I saw your hand go up first, so I'll let you go next."

"Wait! I have a question for Grant's mommy, Michelle!" Ashley said.

"We're going to let all the parents speak first and then we'll save all our questions for later, okay?" Miranda said.

"But what if I forget what I was going to ask?" Ashley asked.

"Yeah, Ashley's memory isn't as great as it was last year." Prentiss said.

"I didn't even know you last year, Emily. I went to a different school." Ashley said.

"See, Miss Norton. Her memory is already fading away. She barely even remembers me. You better let her ask her question before she forgets it." Prentiss said.

"Ashley's right, Emily. She didn't go to school here, last year." Reid said.

"Your memory's failing too?! Oh this can't be good! And we all thought you're memory would last longer than the rest of ours! Boy, were we all wrong!" Prentiss exclaimed.

"My memory is fine and so is Ashley's. I'm just not so sure about yours." Reid said.

"Just because you can tie your shoelaces with your eyes closed, it doesn't make you better than me!" Prentiss snapped.

"What does that have to do with the conversation on our memories?" There was a confused look on Reid's face.

Prentiss folded her arms across her chest and said, "I don't have to explain myself to anyone."

"You can tie your shoelaces with your eyes closed? Ooh! That sounds like fun! I want to try it." Hotch said as he then untied his own shoelaces, closed his eyes and attempted to tie his shoelaces, but it didn't work out too well for him. "Oops, I tied my finger up. A little help here, please." Hotch said when he opened his eyes. "Never mind, I got it." Hotch had finally freed his finger from his shoelaces.

"I'm never going to try that. That seems dangerous." Will said.

"Oh, trust me, Will. As someone with firsthand experience of getting a finger caught in shoelaces, it is dangerous." Hotch said.

"Will, if you think getting a finger tied up is dangerous, well then you're in for a giant surprise." Prentiss said.

"Why? What surprise?" A confused look had appeared on Will's face.

"Because many years from now, you'll be tied up and I'll be forced to swoop in and save your life." Prentiss sounded like she were stating a fact or something close to it.

"But I don't wanna be tied up!" Will whined.

Prentiss held up both hands out in front of herself, in defense and said, "Hey, you know what they all say, "You can't change the future." Whatever is supposed to happened, well then that's just how it is."

"I think the saying is actually, "You can't change the past." It's possible to change the future because it hasn't gotten here, yet." Maeve said.

"Trust me, I know what I'm talking about." Prentiss said.

"Okay… Let's allow Penelope to introduce her parent to us." Miranda said as Garcia and her mother were up at the front of the classroom.

"This is my mommy, and she makes animals look very pretty and smell really nice." Garcia said.

Garcia's mother smiled and said, "Thanks sweetheart." She then began talking about her career. "Hello everyone I'm Trinity Garcia and I am a pet groomer and just like Penelope said, I make animals look very pretty and smell really nice. I shampoo, trim and shape their fur. I also clip their nails. I just love working with the animals."

"Trinity, thanks for telling us all about your career. And Penelope, thank you for introducing your mommy to us." Miranda then looked around the room and said, "Who wants to go next?" as everyone who hadn't gone up yet, was raising their hands. "Jordan, I believe I saw your hand go up first. How about you bring your parent up here?"

Jordan approached the front of the classroom with her father and said, "This is my daddy and he fixes peoples teeth."

Jordan's father lightly patted her head and thanked her for the introduction. He then began to tell the class about his career. "Hello, everyone. My name is Marcus Todd and I am a dentist. Just like Jordan had said, I fix peoples teeth. I clean their teeth, sometimes people have to wear braces when their teeth are not very straight, sometimes, I even have to pull people's teeth out, when they're not so healthy. And I even put false teeth into some people. Being a dentist can be quite scary for me, but I really enjoy my job."

"Marcus, thank you so much for sharing your career with us. And thank you, too Jordan, for introducing your daddy to us." Miranda then looked around the room and asked, okay, who's next. Aaron, I think I saw your hand go up first."

Hotch and his father made their way to the front of the classroom and Hotch said, this is my daddy. He talks to judges."

Lightly patting the top of his son's head and then smiling at the rest of the class, Hotch's father introduced himself and began talking about his career. "Hello everyone. My name is Charles Hotchner and I'm a lawyer. As a lawyer, it is my job to defend the people who asks me to. I sometimes have to talk in front of a lot of people, and that can be very scary. There are a lot of times where, I don't need to go into a courtroom. Most of the time, I research and interview clients and witnesses outside a courtroom. It may not seem like a very fun job, but it's nice, knowing that I'm able to help people. "

"Thank you so much, for sharing your career with us, Charles. Aaron, thank you for introducing your daddy to us." Miranda said. She then asked who was ready to go next and saw many hands go up. "Elle, I saw your hand go up first. You're next."

Elle approached the front of the room, while holding her father's hand. When they got to the front of the room, Elle introduced him.

"This is my daddy. He's a police officer." Elle said.

Elle's father smiled at her and then introduced himself to the rest of the class.

"Hello everyone, my name is Robert Greenaway and I am a police officer. It is my job to protect all the good people from the bad people. Sometimes I have to take bad people to jail and sometimes if they're lucky enough, I'll give them a warning to not make anymore wrong choices. My job isn't always easy, but knowing that I'm keeping people like you safe, then it's worth it. "

"Robert, thank you so much for sharing what you do. And Elle, thank you for introducing your daddy to us. " Miranda said as Elle lead Robert back to her desk. "Okay, who wants to go next?" Miranda asked as hands went up in the air. "Haley, I believe I caught your hand, first. You get to go next."

Haley walked to the front of the room, holding her mother's hand. She introduced her mother to the class and told them what she does. "This is my mommy and she takes care of people's eyes.

Haley's mother smiled and lightly ruffled Haley's hair. She then introduced herself to everyone and told them about her job.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Hilary Brookes and I am an Optometrists. I take care of people's eyes by telling them if they need to wear glasses or not. Or some people prefer to wear contacts. Some of my other duties for my career include, giving eye exams, treating nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. I also diagnose eye conditions, such as glaucoma and cataracts. And I sometimes prescribe medications for certain eye conditions. There's just so much that I do with my career, but I love it. "

"Thank you, Hilary for sharing that with us. And thank you, Haley for introducing your mommy to us. " Miranda said as Hilary and Haley returned to Haley's desk. "Alright who wants to go next? Emily, you can't go next. Your mommy isn't here, yet."

"I don't have my hand raised for that. I have it raised because I have to go to the bathroom." Prentiss said.

"Can't you wait until we're all finished here?"

"Um…. Nope! I have to go now! I have my rights, you know?! If you don't let me go to the bathroom, I'm going to sue you! And I already have a lawyer, Aaron's daddy!" Prentiss was starting to get angry.

"Emily, I don't think you could sue me over that, but I suppose you could use the bathroom if you really need to." Miranda said.

"Thanks! I knew you would see it my way!" Emily sprinted out of the room.

"Alright, let's see who gets to go next. " Miranda scanned the room with her eyes and finally made a choice. "Kevin, you may go next."

Kevin walked to the front of the room, holding his father's hand. Kevin then introduced him to the class. "This is my daddy and he builds things."

With a smile, the man thanked Kevin and then introduced himself to the class, explaining his career, afterwards. "Hello, I'm Aiden Lynch and I'm a construction worker. Just like Kevin said, I build things and sometimes I tear things down. My career isn't always an easy one. Sometimes I have to load and unload stuff, which really isn't that difficult. But working in high areas, or being exposed to dangerous objects, or working in bad weather conditions, now that's the difficult stuff. And sometimes it does get a little scary, but I love what I do and I wouldn't trade it for anything else."

While Aiden was telling everyone about his career, Elizabeth had arrived and sat down beside her daughter's desk. Emily still hadn't returned.

"Thank you Aiden. We're so glad to have gotten to know about your career. And Kevin, thank you for introducing your daddy to us. Who wants to go next?" Miranda asked as Kevin lead Aiden back to his desk and hands went up. "Alright Derek, I seem to have seen your hand up, first. You get to go now."

Morgan approached the front of the room with his mother. He then told the class who she was.

"This lovely lady right here, is my mommy and she fixes people's hair."

Morgan's mother smiled at him and said "Thank you, sweetheart." She then turned her attention to the class. "Hello, my name is Fran Morgan and I am a salon stylist. I get to make people look and feel good about themselves whether it's for an important event or if they just want to look and feel good for no reason at all. Some of my duties include, giving manicures, pedicures, applying makeup, and cutting, coloring and styling hair. I just enjoy helping people feel good about themselves."

"Fran, thank you. We're glad to have gotten to know about your career. And Derek, thank you for introducing your mother to us." Miranda said as she then looked around the room and asked "Alright who's next?" as hands went up and Morgan and Fran returned to his desk.

"Jas…."

"Mommy! What are you doing here?! Whatever bad thing Miss Norton said I did, it isn't true!" Emily accused as she walked into the room and slamming the door loudly behind her causing everyone to stare at her.

"Emily, I'm supposed to be here, remember? It's Career Day. And try not to slam the door next time. It's disruptive." Elizabeth explained.

"Oh yeah, right. I forgot." Emily said as she skipped back to her desk and sat down, but not before turning to Rossi, pointing a finger at him and saying "And you! You better stay away from mommy today and forever. She's mine, not yours!"

Rossi stuck his tongue out at her in response.

"Behave you two. We've got guests." Miranda said. "Okay Jason, I seem to have seen your hand go up first. You get to go next."

Gideon walked to the front of the classroom, holding his mother's hand. "This is my mommy and she helps kids."

The woman smiled at her son and looked at the class, introducing herself to them all. "Hello everyone. I'm Anna Gideon and I'm a Child Psychologist. I study the mental, social and emotional development of children. I work with babies, toddlers, children and teens. I diagnose and treat learning or developmental disabilities a child may have. I help my clients to manage any behavioral issues they have. Sometimes, I administrate psychological tests. And I also help my clients with any trauma they may have recently experienced, like if they're being picked on or if they saw something scary. Thank you all for allowing me to share my career with you."

"And thank you for sharing it with us, Anna. And Jason, thanks for introducing her to us." Miranda said. "Who's next?" Jason and Anna went back to his desk, as Miranda called upon her next student and parent. "Maeve, your hand went up first. You may go next."

Maeve, along with her father, walked to the front of the classroom. She then introduced her father to everyone. "This is my daddy and he stops fires."

"Thanks for the introduction, sweetheart." The man smiled at Maeve. He then turned his attention to everyone else and addressed them. "Hi, my name is Joe Donovan and I'm a firefighter. As a firefighter, it is my job to protect citizens like yourselves by putting out fires and executing rescues. I have many other duties as a firefighter. Some of these duties include, preventing fire damage by constructing surveys and inspections for any hazards and enforcing codes. Teaching citizens on how to prevent fire damage. I also have to make sure there's plenty of water at fire scenes. When I and the rest of the fire department hear an alarm, we have to respond to it, immediately because if we don't then people could lose valuable items or even their lives. If someone is trapped in a burning building, I have to risk my life to rescue that person. Sometimes I have to perform CPR on people. My job is never easy, but when I get to rescue someone else, then the dangers that this job brings, doesn't scare me. It's all worth it. Thank you all for your time."

"Joe, thank you for sharing your career with us. And Maeve, thank you for introducing your father to us. Alright who would like to go next?" Miranda asked as Maeve lead Joe back to her desk and hands were raised. "David, I believe I saw your hand, first. You may go now."

Rossi began taking his mother to the front of the classroom, but not before walking over to Prentiss' desk and trying to grab Elizabeth's hand. "Come on, mommy. It's your turn to talk."

"David, sweetheart. You know I'm not your mommy. Your mommy's right there beside you and she's waiting for you to walk her to the front of the class room." Elizabeth smiled kindly at Rossi.

"Yeah, you heard her! My mommy wants you to stay away from her!" Prentiss glared evilly at her classmate.

"Now, Emily. You know I didn't say that. That isn't a very nice thing to say to anyone, unless they're bad people." Elizabeth said.

"Mommy, you are losing your mind. You did too say it. Well, you actually shouted it. We all heard you. Didn't we?" Prentiss was stood up on her desk and was looking around at everyone.

"No." Everyone said in unison.

"Well, you all don't know a pink polar bear from a grey and brown bumble bee." Prentiss sat back down in her seat and folded her arms across her chest.

"Mommy? Are you going to talk to everyone or not?" Rossi was still trying to pull Elizabeth from her seat.

"David, how about we let her talk, instead of me? I think it would really make her feel happy if she got to tell everyone about what kind of career she has." Elizabeth then looked at Rossi's mother and said, "I'm so sorry about this."

"Oh that's alright. I'm sorry too." Rossi's mother smiled.

Finally after some convincing, Rossi took his birth mother up to the front of the classroom.

"This is one of my mommies. And she likes to…."

"She's your only mommy!" Prentiss said.

"Emily, don't interrupt." Elizabeth gave her daughter a warning look.

"I'm still not sharing you with David." Prentiss said.

"Okay, let's let David and his mommy talk." Miranda said.

"As I was saying, this is one of my mommies and she likes to take pictures." Rossi said as he stuck his tongue out at Prentiss.

"David." Rossi's mother gave him a warning look.

"Sorry." Rossi said as his mother patted him lightly on the head. She then began to speak to everyone.

"Hi, I'm Maria Rossi and I'm a photographer. I love taking pictures of people, animals, places, events and various objects. In order to be a photographer, you have to be very creative, have excellent technique and photographic skills. You also have to be able to communicate with people very well. It's always fun to take pictures and see how well they look once they are developed."

"Maria, thank you for sharing your career with us. And David, thanks for introducing your mommy to us. Who wants to go next?" Miranda asked as Rossi lead Maria back to his desk. She looked around the room, until finally deciding on the next student and parent. "Ashley, would you like to go next?"

Ashley nodded her head in a 'yes' motion and proceeded to walk to the front of the room with her mother. When they both got to the front of the classroom, Ashley introduced her mother to everyone.

"This is my mommy and she makes pretty jewelry."

Smiling, the woman lightly patted her daughter's back. She then looked at everyone else and began to speak. "Hi, my name is Maya Seaver and I'm a jewelry designer. I design and sometimes make jewelry by use many materials, such as gold, silver and other precious stones. Each piece jewelry has great sentimental significance and symbolic meaning to the customers that I design for. Some of my work activities include, sketching out ideas, stamping and presswork, polishing, stone setting, and engraving. There is a lot of work to what I do and it isn't always easy, but I do enjoy doing it."

"Maya, thanks for sharing your career with us. And Ashley thank you for introducing your mommy to us." Miranda smiled. "Alright, who's next?" She looked around the room as Ashley lead Maya back to her desk and hands went up. "Emily, I think I saw your hand first. You want to go?"

"Um… yeah. Come on mommy, it's our turn now." Prentiss was dragging her mother up to the front of the classroom. When they got there, Rossi was standing there too.

"Oh no, you don't! You go back to your desk! You're not gonna stand up here with my mommy and me! You got your own mommy!" Prentiss began pushing Rossi back to his desk, while he protested.

"But, I have to support our mommy! I have to stand with you two!"

"She isn't our mommy! She's only my mommy! Now, scram!"

"I don't wanna and I don't have to! You're not the boss of me!"

"David, you need to go back to your desk. You and your mommy already got a turn." Miranda said.

"But that was my other mommy! I need to be here for this one, too!" Rossi pointed at Elizabeth.

"David, I appreciate you for wanting to support me, while I stand here and tell everyone about my career, but you can still support while sitting next to your mother, okay?" Elizabeth smiled at the young boy.

After thinking about it for a moment, David finally gave in and said with a heavy sigh, "Okay, fine then." He then walked back to his desk and sat down.

"This is my mommy and you all know wha…"

"And she's my mommy too!" Rossi exclaimed as Prentiss just stuck her tongue out at him.

"Let's just stay focused on our parents careers, okay?" Miranda said.

"Anyway as I was saying. This is my mommy and you all should know what she does by now." Prentiss said.

Elizabeth let out a small laugh and said, "Thank you, Emily for that interesting introduction." She then turned her attention to everyone else and introduced herself and explained her career. "Hi, everyone. My name is Elizabeth Prentiss and I'm the school principal here. I have many tasks and duties here. Some of them include, reporting to the superintendent, supervising all school personal, whether it's directly or indirectly, and ensuring that the school program is compatible with the legal, financial, and organizational structure of the system. My job is really fun, but the best part is getting to see each and everyone one of you, everyday."
"Except David. You don't like to see David." Prentiss said.

"No, Emily. I enjoy seeing David too."

"Elizabeth, thanks for telling us all about your career. And Emily, thanks for introducing her to us, even though we already know who she is. Alright who's…"

"Then why did I have to introduce her to you all?" Prentiss asked, interrupting her teacher.

"Because sweetheart, it's the polite thing to do. Okay, who wants to go next?" Miranda asked as Prentiss and her mother walked back to her desk and hands went up. "Spencer, I believe I saw your hand first. You get to go now."

Reid walked to the front of the classroom with his father. He then said, "Everyone, this my daddy and he's a hotel manager. As a hotel manager, it is his responsibil…"

"Spencer, how about we let your father tell us about his career, okay?" Miranda asked.

"Sorry, daddy." Reid said to his father.

With a smile and a firm but gentle pat on the shoulder, Reid's father just looked at him and said, "That's alright. I know how you always like to help and there's nothing wrong with that." He then introduced himself to everyone and talked about his careers. "Hello, I'm William Reid and I am a hotel manager. The day to day management of a hotel and its staff is a huge responsibility of mine. Some of my work activities include, planning and organizing accommodations, promoting and marketing the business, recruiting, training and monitoring the staff, meeting and greeting customers, dealing with any complaints and comments that the customers may have, and carrying out inspections of property and services. My favorite part about my career is being able to meet and greet people, nearly every day. Thank you all for listening to me talk about my career. I really appreciate it."

"And William, thank you too for telling us all about your career. Spencer, thanks for introducing your daddy to us." Miranda said as Reid lead his father back to his desk. "Who's next?" Miranda asked as looked at the remaining hands raised. "William, I believe your hand was raised first."

Will walked up to the front of the classroom with his mother. He then introduced her to everyone. "This is my mommy and she gets paid to take care of kids."

The woman smiled at her son and thanked him for the introduction. She then introduced herself to his classmates and talked about her career. "Hello children, my name is Georgia LaMontagne and I'm a child care worker. I believe I have the best job in the world because I get to spend time with children and that's what I love most. Although, I love my job, it always isn't easy. Being a child care worker comes with many tasks. I don't just take care of one child. I take care of many children. Some of my duties and tasks include observing and monitoring the children's play activities. I also have to keep records on each child. This includes daily observations and information on activities, meals, and medications that are administered. I have to make sure each child is well fed and gets enough rest. My most favorite task of all, is reading to the children and teaching them how to do arts and crafts, because that's when we get to be creative. Thank you all for allowing me to talk to you."

"Georgia, thank you for explaining your career to us. And William, thank you for introducing your mommy to us." Miranda said as Will was leading Georgia back to his desk. "Okay, who's next?" She asked as the four remaining hands went up. "Beth, I saw your hand go up first. You get to go now."
Beth walked to the front of the classroom, holding her mother's hand. She then introduced her to everyone. "This is my mommy and she's a…" Beth looked up at her mother with worried eyes and said, "Mommy, I can't say that word very good."

"That's alright, sweetheart." The woman smiled at her daughter and lightly ruffled her hair. She then turned her attention to Beth's classmates, introduced herself and talked about her career. "Hi, I'm Lana Clemmons and I'm a catering manager. That means that I lead teams of chefs and catering assistants. As a catering manager, it is my responsibility to monitor the quality of food and service that is given to customers. The most important part about my job is making sure that customers are happy with the services because if they're not happy, then we lose money and possibly our careers. The typical work activities of a catering manger are, planning menus, ordering supplies, hiring, training, supervising and motivating permanent and casual staff, and ensuring that the health and safety regulations are strictly monitored, recorded and achieved. There are also many skills that comes with this career. You have to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills are also a must. And having strong leadership and motivating skills such as the ability to build relationships with the customers and staff, would be another excellent skill to have."

"Thank you, Lana for telling us all about your career. And Beth, thank you for introducing you mommy to us." Miranda said as Beth grabbed Lana's hand and lead her back to her desk. "Okay, we just have three left. Who's going next?" She asked as now only Clyde's, Alex's and JJ's hands remained in the air. "Clyde, I saw your hand first. You want to go now?"

"Mmhm." Clyde said as he lead his father to the front of the classroom and introduced him. "This is my daddy and he flies airplanes."

Clyde's father smiled and lightly patted him on the head, thanking him for the introduction. Turning to his son's classmates, he introduced himself and talked about his career. "Hello kids, I'm Chandler Easter and I'm an airline pilot. I fly passengers and cargo to places. I'm responsible for getting people and their belongings, safely to another place. My career may seem like a lot of fun and it is, but there is a lot of responsibility to it. I not only fly a plane, but I also have to ensure that all information about the route, weather, passengers, and aircraft is received. I also have to make sure that there is enough fuel in the aircraft. I always need to check if all the safety systems are working well. I have to be able to communicate with the passengers by using the public address system. If there is an emergency, I have to know how to react towards it and I have to react towards it in a quick, but calm manner. And I have to write a report at the end of every flight, if there were any incidents or problems with the flight. Thank you all for allowing me to stand up here and tell you about my career."
"And thank you, Chandler for telling us about your career." Clyde, thank you, too for introducing your father to us. Okay, we've got two more parents left. Alex or JJ, who's going next?" Miranda asked as both girl's hands went up and Clyde lead his father back to his desk. "Alex, I believe I saw your hand, first."

Holding her mother's hand, Alex walked to the front of the classroom, where she then introduced everyone to her mother. "This is my mommy and she talks in different languages. I know what her job is called, but I just can't say it very well."

Alex's mother smiled at her kindly and thanked her for the introduction. She then introduced herself to the class and talked about her career. "Hello everyone. My name is Olivia Miller and I'm an interpreter. An interpreter is someone who converts one language to another. There are three types of interpreters, simultaneous, consecutive and liaison. I am a consecutive interpreter, which means that whenever the speaker pauses after each sentence, I translate it for anyone who doesn't understand the language. My responsibilities include, attending meeting or conferences, listening carefully to what someone says, understand languages, and using technology wherever it's appropriate, such as microphones, headphones, telephones, video and the internet. I often travel because of my job, which is really cool because I get to go to places where I've never been."

"Olivia, thanks for sharing your career with us. And Alex, thank you for introducing your mother to us. Okay, last but not least, JJ it is now your turn." Miranda said as Alex lead Olivia back to her desk.

"Well, it's about time you picked me! I've been raising my hand for over four hours now!" JJ said as she grabbed her father's hand and began to lead him to the front of the classroom.

"JJ, it hasn't been that long." Her father said to her with a smile.

"Daddy, please. I know how to count." JJ held a hand out in front of her father. She then introduced him to her classmates. "This is my daddy and he gets paid to write."

The man smiled at his daughter and then introducing himself to the class and talking about his career. "Hi, I'm Max Jareau and I'm a journalist.
