A/N: Thanks for all the reviews for the previous chapter. I'm glad you all liked it. This next chapter is a sequel to the previous chapter. I hope you all like it. Anyway, without further ado, here it is.
Disclaimer: The children are not mine. They belong to Criminal Minds/CBS. However, Miranda and some of the names of the parents do belong to me.
Everyone had returned from a bathroom break and all the parents were standing at the front of the room, waiting to be asked questions about their careers. The children were a little bit noisy, until Miranda starting ringing a small bell that sat atop her desk. The ringing of the bell was the sign that the children were getting too noisy and should quiet down a bit. When all was quiet, Miranda began talking.
"Okay, we're gonna go in reverse order and allow JJ's daddy, Max Jareau to answer your questions first."
"Oh, I see how it is. You always pick me last for things, but you pick my daddy to go first with this! You're playing favorites! This isn't fair!" JJ crossed her arms and pouted.
"Now, JJ, you know that isn't true. I don't always pick you last for things." Miranda tried explaining, but JJ was having none of it.
"Yeah, you do! You do all the time!"
"Jennifer, sweetheart. How can Miss Norton pick me as her favorite student when I'm not even in her class or a student at all?" Max questioned his daughter.
"You be quiet, daddy! And just wait until we get home! I'm gonna tell mommy and she's gonna be so mad at you!"
"Maybe you should sue your daddy and Miss Norton? You want a lawyer? You can have my daddy as your lawyer. Daddy, go present JJ." Hotch demanded of his father as he mispronounced the word "represent."
"You mean, represent." Charles corrected his son.
"Daddy, please, enough with the corrections. One of my friends is upset and when one of my friends gets upset, then I get upset too." Hotch held his hand out in front of him as if he were trying to stop his father from saying another word.
"Aaron, if you don't behave, I'm going to tell your teacher to put you into time out." Charles gave his son as warning look.
"And the same goes for you too, Jennifer." Max gave JJ the same warning look.
"You can't do that! Not without my permission! The time out area is my spot!" Prentiss chimed in.
"Why would she want to claim the time out area as her spot?" Miranda thought to herself. "No, Emily, it isn't only your spot. Now how about we let Max Jareau answers any questions that any of you may have for him?"
Emily raised her hand, "Miss Norton, I have a question for you."
"What is it, Emily?" Miranda asked.
"Shouldn't you let Grant's mommy talk first? Ashley might forget what she was supposed to ask her. We all know how terrible her memory is."
"My memory is fine and I haven't forgotten what I want to ask Grant's mommy." Ashley said.
"Are you sure your memory's fine?" Emily gave her classmate a questionable look.
"Yes." Ashley replied back.
"Really? Well, if it's so great then, then what did your mommy have for breakfast on the twelfth of May in 1879?"
"Um.. Emily, Ashley's mommy wasn't even born, yet. That was like over one hundred years ago." Reid said as if he were stating a fact.
"Spencer, be quiet! I'm trying to think of what mommy had for breakfast for that day!" Ashley demanded of her classmate and appeared to be thinking really hard. "I know! She had oatmeal with pieces of bacon in it!"
Astonished, Emily stared at her classmate with wide eyes. "Ashley, I am so sorry. You're memory really is fine!"
"Ewe! Oatmeal with pieces of bacon in it?! That's really nasty! Hey Ashley's mommy, next time, try oatmeal with marshmallows in it! It's really good!" Clyde said.
"Alright children, let's move on and ask Max Jareau about his career. I'm sure he'd love to answers any questions that we may have for him. And the same for the rest of the parents." Miranda was hoping to end the current conversation of the students.
"I have a question for JJ's daddy." Kevin raised his hand.
"And what would that question be?" Max smiled at the young boy.
"Do you ever write articles about superheroes, like Batman or Spiderman?"
With a small laugh, Max responded to Kevin's question, "No, I don't write about superheroes, but that does sound like a good idea."
"Does anyone else have a question for Max?" Miranda asked.
"I have a question." Maeve raised her hand and waited for Miranda to allow her to ask the question. When she was given permission, she asked, "Do you have a favorite article that you wrote?"
Max thought about the question for a brief moment before answering, "Hmm… My favorite article? Now, that's a tough question, but I think my favorite one would have to be the one that I wrote about the family who were reunited with their pet cat who had gone missing for over three years. I've always loved that one."
"Are there any other questions for Max?" Miranda asked.
When no one else raised their hands, Miranda decided to move on to the next parent. "Okay, now let's allow Alex mommy, Olivia Miller to answer any questions you may have for her. Who would like to go first?"
Prentiss raised her hand and Miranda gave her the approval to ask Olivia a question.
"Peut Alex parler dans d'autres langues aussi?" Prentiss asked in French.
"Oui, je peux parler en d'autres langues. Maman m'a appris comment." Alex replied back to her classmate, also speaking in French.
"Ce était pour votre maman à répondre!" Prentiss whined still speaking in French.
"Emily, nous ne avons pas jeter des crises." Elizabeth spoke in French and gave her daughter a stern look.
"What are they saying?" Gideon whispered to Elle.
Elle shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know. I only know how to talk English."
"Maybe they're gonna break into Miss Norton's house tonight and steal all her candy jewelry." Beth had been listening in on the conversation and decided to chime in.
"Ooh! I love that stuff! If they steal it, then they better share with the rest of us!" Haley whispered as she was now a part of the discussion.
"Alright, you four. Enough whispering to each other and let's focus on the guest." Miranda had been watching the four of them.
"I just need to say something to Emily, Alex and Principal Prentiss. If you plan on stealing any of Miss Norton's candy jewelry from her home, you better share it with the rest of us!" Haley demanded.
"Yeah, or I'll make my daddy arrest you!" Elle threatened.
"Ladies, if you need a lawyer, you can have my daddy." Hotch told Prentiss, Alex and Elizabeth.
"Sweetheart, we're not talking about stealing anything from anyone. Emily asked Alex's mommy if Alex could talk in other languages. That's all." Elizabeth smiled kindly at Hotch.
"I watch a lot of TV and if I were you, I wouldn't say anything else, unless your lawyer tells you to." Hotch didn't believe what Elizabeth had just said.
"These children sure do have quite the imagination. Not sure if I should be proud that they're my students or embarrassed by it." Miranda thought to herself. "Alight, let's not get carried away with our imaginations. I'm sure Olivia would like to answer some more questions. Jordan, do you have a question for Olivia?" Miranda saw that Jordan's hand was raised.
"Yes, what's your favorite place that you've traveled to, so far?" Jordan asked.
Olivia thought about the question for a moment, before answering. "Hmm… my favorite place? I think that would have to be Rome, Italy. It's such a beautiful place, there."
"Are there any other questions for Olivia?" Miranda scanned the room with her eyes.
"I have a question." Anderson raised his hand and was given Miranda's approval. "Are there any languages that you can't speak?"
"No, I know every language." Olivia answered.
"Does anyone else have any questions for Olivia?" Miranda waited for a moment to see if any hands would be raised. When no hands were raised, she said, "Okay, now let's allow Clyde's daddy, Chandler Easter to answer your questions. Does anyone have a question for him? Aaron, I see that your hand is raised. Do you have a question for him?"
"Yes, I do." Hotch turned his attention to Chandler and asked, "Do you ever get scared of flying?"
"If I said no, then I'd be lying to you. So, yes, I do sometimes get scared of flying. You just never know when things can go wrong." Chandler said.
"Who else would like to ask Chandler a question?" Miranda asked. She then saw Garcia with her hand raised and gave the child permission to ask.
"Have you ever gotten airsick?"
"Um… no, no I've never gotten airsick." Chandler let out a small laugh.
After Chandler had answered Garcia's question, Miranda noticed that Reid's hand was up and she gave him permission to ask a question.
"Have you ever been in any scary or dangerous situations while flying a plane?" Reid asked.
"So far, not yet. And I hope it stays that way. My goal is to get all the passengers and their belongings, safely to where they need to be."
"Does anyone else have any questions?" Miranda scanned the room with her eyes and when no more hands were raised, she decided to move onto the next parent. "Okay, now we're going to let Beth's mommy, Lana Clemmons answer your questions. Who has a question for her?" Miranda saw that Gideon's hand was raised. "Jason, do you have a question for Lana?"
"Mmhm, do you make a lot of money?"
"I make about $42,000 a year, which really isn't a lot of money, but I don't do this for the money. I'm a catering manager because it's what I love to do." Lana smiled.
"Kevin, I saw your hand up. Do you have a question for Lana?" Miranda asked.
"Yes, I do." Kevin said as he then looked at Lana and asked, "What happens to the food that the customers decide they don't want?"
"Any food that the customers decides that they don't want for their parties, we donate it to homeless shelters. We don't believe in letting food go to waste."
Miranda noticed that there were no more hands raised. "Are there any more questions for Lana?" She wanted to make sure, before she moved onto the next parent. When no one raised their hand, she said, "Well, okay then. Let's allow William's mommy, Georgia LaMontagne to answer your questions. William, I see that your hand is raised, do you have a question for your mommy?"
"Yep, hey mommy. Do you get paid to take care of me too?"
Georgia smiled at her son and said, "No, sweetheart. You're my little boy and I take care of you for free."
"But that's not fair. All the other kids that you take care of, their parents pay."
"Sweetheart, that's because it's my job to watch them and get paid by their parents. And if I did pay myself for watching you, then I'd only be taking my own money. No one would really be paying me, nor would I even want to get paid." Georgia tried explaining to her son.
"Hey, Will, if you want your mommy to pay someone to take care of you, my cousin Aria is a babysitter." Ashley said.
Will's eyes lit up as he said to his mother, "Mommy, take me to Ashley's cousin's house today! I wanna get paid for and you better pay her lots of money, like five million dollars because that's how much I'm worth!"
Georgia couldn't help but laugh at her son's recent words. She then said, "William, sweetheart, you know that I don't have that kind of money and neither does your father. And you don't need a babysitter, you have me to take care of you."
Will crossed his arms over his chest, glared at his mother and rudely said, "Fine!"
Georgia gave her son a stern look and said, "William Joshua LaMontagne, if you don't change your attitude, I'm not going to let you have any chocolate cake when you get home today."
With fear in his eyes, Will quickly uncrossed his arms and said, "What?! No cake?! But I always get a treat after school!"
"Not with that attitude, you're not." Georgia warned.
"I'll be good now! I promise!" Will quickly said.
"Alright, let's continue with the questions. Who else has a question for Georgia?" Miranda asked.
"I want to ask her something." JJ said. "Since Baby Whiskers Bonbon is your grandchild, will you watch her for free?" She then pulled the doll out from inside her desk and held it in the air, for all to see.
"JJ, put that ugly doll away! This isn't Halloween! Quit scaring us with it!" Haley demanded as she and nearly everyone else in the room had their eyes covered with their hands.
"Baby Whiskers Bonbon happens to be one of the most beautiful babies in the whole universe! You all are just jealous because you can't look like her! Isn't that right, Will?"
"Um… Do you have your soccer ball with you?" Will asked, fearing the answer.
"Well, of course I do, silly." JJ said.
Will uncovered his eyes and said, "Well in that case, yes, yes Baby Whiskers Bonbon is the most beautiful baby in the whole universe." He didn't want to say she wasn't and risk getting knocked out by a soccer ball.
"JJ, I need you to put that ug… I mean Baby Whiskers Bonbon, away." Miranda chose her words carefully. "This isn't the time to get out our toys and play."
JJ gasped, "Baby Whiskers bonbon isn't a toy! She's a responsibility!"
"Well, Baby Whiskers Bonbon looks pretty tired. Maybe it's time for her nap?" Miranda suggested.
After carefully studying the doll for a brief moment, JJ said, "I think you're right, Miss Norton. She does look pretty tired." She then kissed the top of the dolls head and said "Nap time Baby Whiskers Bonbon. I love you." There was a loud clunk as she hastily tossed the doll inside her desk.
"Does anyone else have a question for Georgia?" Miranda asked.
"Hey! She never answered my question!" JJ complained.
"Oh, I'm sorry, JJ." Miranda said and then looked to Georgia.
Georgia thought for a moment. The doll was ugly, but she didn't want to upset the little first grader. "Why, yes of course. I'll watch her for free."
JJ heaved a sigh of relief, "Good! I only have a summer job as a lemonade seller and right now, I can barely even afford a gumball from one of those quarter machines." She then bowed her head in shame. "If only Will would stop being so lazy and get a job too."
"I'm only six years old! I'm too young to get a job!" Will tried to reason with JJ.
"Jennifer, I mean JJ, times like these sure are tough, but you'll get through it." Hotch, gave JJ a quick and reassuring pat on the back.
"Wow, they sure are an entertaining bunch." Miranda thought to herself. "Okay… do we have any more questions for Georgia? Alex, I see that your hand is up. You may ask your question."
"Do you ever send a child home with the wrong mommy or daddy?" Alex asked Georgia.
"Um… No, that's never happened before."
"Anyone else?" Miranda asked as she looked around the room. When no hands were raised, she said, "Alright, now let's allow Spencer's daddy, William Reid to answer your questions. Who has a first question? Emily, you have one?"
"Yep. Have you ever lived in a hotel?"
"I've stayed a few nights in hotels, but I've never actually lived in one."
Anderson then raised his hand and was given permission to ask a question.
"Do you allow pets in your hotels?"
"Yes, I do, but I don't allow any dangerous animals. We want to keep our staff and our guest safe." William explained.
"Miss Norton, can I ask Spencer's daddy a question, now?" Elle was raising her hand.
"Yes, you may, Elle." Miranda said.
"If any of your workers want to stay in the hotel, do they have to pay too?" Elle asked.
"Yes, they do."
"I have a question, now." Morgan had his hand raised.
"Okay, Derek, you may ask your question." Miranda said.
"How many rooms are in a hotel?" Morgan asked.
"Well, I'm not sure about every hotel, but the one that I manage, has about one hundred and ten."
"Does anyone else have a question?" Miranda asked. When no hands were raised, she decided to move on. "Okay, now we're gonna let Emily's mommy, Elizabeth Prentiss answer your questions. Anyone have a question for her?"
"I do." Gideon said and waited for permission. When he was given permission, he asked, "Do you have a favorite student at this school?"
Elizabeth smiled and said, "No, I do not. I love all the students here, equally."
"I have a question for mommy!" David announced.
"What is it, sweetheart?" Maria asked her son.
"Oh, sorry, mommy. I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to my other mommy."
"My mommy is not your mommy. When are you gonna realize that?!" Prentiss glared at her classmate.
"David, you may ask Elizabeth your question." Miranda said, hoping that the two students wouldn't start another argument with each other.
"Whenever Emily gets in trouble at home, does she get a detention?"
"No, but she does get a timeout, though." Elizabeth said.
"Maeve, I see that your hand is up. You have a question for Elizabeth?" Miranda asked.
"Yes I do. How do you remember everyone's name?" Maeve asked Elizabeth.
"I'm just really good at remembering who people are."
Miranda waited to see if anyone else had a question. When no one raised their hand, she said, "We're going to let Ashley's mommy, Maya Seaver answer your questions, now. Does anyone have a question for her?"
"I do." Reid raised his hand.
"You may ask her, your question." Miranda said.
Reid looked at Maya and said, "There's some jewelry that has words in it, have you ever misspelled any of the words in the jewelry that you design?"
"There have been a few times where I've misspelled some words, but that can be easily fixed." Maya said with a smile.
"Miss Norton, I have a question for Ashley's mommy." Jordan's hand was raised.
"You can ask her, Jordan." Miranda said.
"How much money do you make?"
"The prices cost between fifty dollars to five thousand dollars." Maya explained to Jordan.
"Are there any more questions for Maya? No? Well, okay. Now let's allow David's mommy, Maria Rossi to answer your questions. Alex, do you have a question for her? I noticed that your hand is raised." Miranda said.
"Yep. Hey, David's mommy, Emily told me that you're one of those elves that makes those delicious cookies. Is that true and if it is, did you bring any cookies?"
Maria couldn't help but let out a small laugh. She then said, "No, sweetheart. I'm not one of those elves and I'm sorry, but I didn't bring any cookies with me. Now that you mentioned it, I wish I did bring some."
"I have a question." Beth raised her hand and was soon given permission to ask. "Is taking pictures, easy?"
Maria thought about the question for moment, before saying, "Yeah, it's pretty easy. You just have to be creative with the camera. And anyone can be creative."
"Kevin, you can ask Maria a question, now." Miranda noticed that Kevin's hand was raised.
"How many years have you been taking pictures?" Kevin asked.
"I've been a professional photographer for about nine years now." Maria said.
"Is that all the question we have for Maria?" Miranda wanted to make sure before moving onto the next parents. After seeing that no more hands were raised, she decided to move on. "It's Maeve's daddy's, Joe Donovan's turn to answer your questions. Who wants to ask him a question?"
"I will." Clyde's hand was raised and he waited for permission to ask his question. Miranda allowed him to ask his question. "Have you ever been trapped inside of burning building?"
"Yes I have and that's very scary, but thankfully, I've always been able to find my way out. And I hope it stays that way." Joe said.
"Penelope, I noticed that your hand was raised. Did you have a question for Joe?" Miranda asked.
"Mmhm. What's the scariest part about being a firefighter?" Garcia asked.
"The scariest part about my career is, sometimes not being able to save everyone. It's just really difficult to have to go through something like that." Joe said.
"I have a question." Will raised his hand and was soon given permission to ask. "If the fire department that you work at, catches on fire, do you call another fire department to come and stop the fire.
Joe smiled and said, "No, we stop the fire, ourselves."
Miranda scanned the room with her eyes to see if anymore hands were raised. When there were none, she said, "Okay, let's allow Jason's mommy, Anna Gideon to answer your questions. Who has a question for her?"
"I do." Anderson's hand was raised as he waited for permission to ask his question.
"Grant, you may ask your question." Miranda said.
"So, you get paid to talk to kids?" Grant asked Anna.
"I get paid to listen to them and help with their problems." Anna corrected the young boy.
"I think David needs some of your help. He's having trouble remembering who his real mommy is!" Prentiss spoke up.
"Emily, we don't speak out of turn." Elizabeth gave her daughter a warning look.
Miranda saw that David's hand was raised, "David, do you have a question for Anna?"
"Um… no. I just wanted to tell Emily something." Rossi then looked at Prentiss and said, "I know who exactly who my real mommy is, thank you very much!" He then looked at Elizabeth and smiled at her, resulting in an angry glare from Emily.
"I have a question for Jason's mommy." Jordan's hand was raised and she was soon given permission to ask a question. "Do you think David needs your help?"
Anna just smiled and said, "No, he seems fine to me, but if he or any of you ever want to talk to me, I'll listen to you. That's what my job is, to listen."
"Do we have any more questions for Anna?" Miranda asked. "No? Okay, Now we're going to let Derek's mommy, Fran Morgan answer your questions. Does anyone have a question for her? Elle, I see that your hand is raised, do you have a question for Fran?"
"Yep." Elle looked at Fran and asked, "So, what kind of crayons do you use to color people's hair?"
Fran couldn't help but laugh at the question. She then said, "Sweetheart, I don't use crayons for people's hair. I use hair dye. Hair dye is a product that changes a person's hair to another color."
"Now I see why that purple crayon never worked, every time I used it for my hair." Elle said.
"Wow, these kids just keep getting weirder and weirder by the second." Miranda thought to herself. "William, do you have a question for Fran?" She asked.
"Yes, I do. If you cut someone's hair and they don't like it, do you glue their hair back onto their head?" Will asked Fran.
"No, we don't do that. If a customer decides they don't like their hair cut, then they get their money back." Fran said.
"I want to ask her a question." Garcia raised her hand and was soon given permission. "What do you love most about your career?"
"I just love talking to the customers and getting to know them."
"Are there any more questions for Fran?" Miranda scanned the room with her eyes, before saying, "Kevin's daddy, Aiden Lynch, will now be answering your questions that you have for him. Spencer, I see that your hand is raised. Do you have a question for Aiden?"
"Yes I do." Reid looked at Aiden and asked, "Have you ever been injured, while working?"
"I haven't had any life threatening injuries, but I have managed to accidently hit my thumb with a hammer." Aiden said.
"I have a question." Elle's hand was raised and waited for Miranda to allow her to ask a question. When she was given permission, Elle asked, "Have you ever built a castle?"
"No, I've never built a castle, but I bet that would be pretty cool."
"Aaron, you may ask Aiden a question." Miranda saw that Hotch's hand was raised.
"How long does it take you to build something?" Hotch asked.
"It depends on the size. It could take weeks, months or even years to finish something, but it's all worth it." Aiden said.
When Miranda saw that no more hands were raised, she decided to move onto the next parent. "Okay, we're going to let Haley's mommy, Hilary Brookes answer your questions. Does anyone have a question for her?"
"Can I ask her something?" Kevin had his hand raised.
"Yes, Kevin, you may." Miranda said.
Kevin looked at Hilary and asked, "Did Superman get his eyeglasses from you?"
Hilary just smiled and said, "I'm afraid not, but it would have been so cool if that did happen."
"Are there anymore questions?" Miranda looked around the room. "Jordan, do you have a question for Hilary?"
"Mmhm." Jordan looked at Hilary and asked, "Do animals wear glasses or contacts too?"
"Although some animals do have eye problems like many humans, they don't wear glasses or contacts." Hilary explained.
"I have a question." Clyde had his hand raised and was then approved to ask his question. "Can a person wear both eyeglasses and contacts?"
"They can, but not at the same time." Hilary said.
When Miranda saw that no more hands were raised, she decided to move on. "Okay, we're going to let Elle's daddy, Robert Greenaway answer your questions. Does anyone have a question for him? Emily, you do?"
"Yep, sure do. Can I ask him?" Emily asked.
"Yes, you may." Miranda said.
"Have you ever arrested Elle for being bad?" Emily asked Robert with a serious look on her face.
Smiling, Robert replied back with, "Of course not. Whenever Elle gets in trouble, she has to go in time out for a few minutes."
Miranda saw that Ashley's hand was raised, so she then gave her permission to ask Robert a question.
"Some police officers ride bicycles and horses. How do they take bad people to jail?" Ashley asked.
"They wait for a police officer who drives a car to arrive and take the bad people." Robert explained.
Anderson then raised his hand and was given permission from Miranda to ask Robert a question.
"What the best thing about being a police officer?"
Without even thinking about it, Robert replied with, "Being able to protect people and sometimes animals. That's very rewarding to me."
No one else had raised their hands, so Miranda decided it was time for the next parent. "Let's allow Aaron's daddy, Charles Hotchner to answer your questions, now. Who has a question for him?"
"I do." JJ raised her hand.
"You may ask him your question." Miranda approved.
"Does being a lawyer ever get boring?" JJ asked.
"Honestly, yes. There are times when it can be very boring, but there are also times when it gets really exciting, too." Charles said.
"I want to ask him something." Maeve raised her hand and was soon given permission to ask. "Are judges very scary?"
"They may seem like it, but no, they're really not scary." Charles reassured Maeve.
"Is that all the questions we have for Charles?" Miranda scanned the room with her eyes, before saying, "Okay, now we're going to let Jordan's daddy, Marcus Todd answer any questions that you may have for him. Anyone want to ask the first question?"
"I will." Gideon raised his hand and was given permission to ask. "Have you ever been bitten?"
"Oh yes. I've been bitten many times." Marcus said.
"Miss Norton, can I ask him a question?" Garcia had her hand raised.
"Yes, Penelope. You may ask Marcus a question." Miranda said.
Garcia turned her attention to Marcus and asked, "Do you fix animals teeth too?"
"No I do not. If an animal needs their teeth fixed, they have to go to the vet. I only work with humans."
"I have a question." Alex raised her hand and was given permission to ask Marcus a question. "My brother, Daniel told me that dentists pull peoples teeth out with pliers. Is that true?" There appeared to be a frightened look on her face.
Marcus smiled and said, "I've heard of some people doing that, but dentists are not one of those people. So there's nothing to be afraid of."
When no more hands were raised, Miranda said, "Okay, we're going to let Penelope's mommy, Trinity Garcia answer your questions that you may want to ask her. Does anyone have a question for her?" She looked around the room and noticed that Elle's hand was raised. "Elle, do you have a question for Trinity?"
"Yes I do." Elle said as she waited for permission to ask a question. When she was given permission, she looked at Trinity and asked, "Do you make penguins look pretty too?"
"Unfortunately, I do not. I wish I could though, because that's one of my favorite animals, but I only work with household pets." Trinity said with a smile.
Kevin then had his hand raised and when he was given permission, he asked, "Have you ever been bitten by an animal that you were trying to make pretty?"
"So far, I've never been bitten, but I have been scratched a few times by cats."
"Miss Norton, can I ask her a question, now please?" Beth's hand was raised.
"Yes, Beth. You may ask her a question." Miranda said.
Beth turned her attention to Trinity and asked, "What's your favorite kind of animal to work with?"
With a smile, Trinity answered with, "I just love all animals and I possibly couldn't choose just one animal as a favorite of mine."
Miranda saw that no more hands were raised, so she then decided to move on. "Okay, last but not least, we are now going to allowing Grant's mommy, Michelle Anderson to answer your questions. Does anyone have a question for her?"
Everyone was now looking at Ashley, just waiting for her to raise her hand. Ashley just stared back at them with a blank expression on her face. There was a moment of silence until, she finally spoke.
"Why is everyone looking at me for?! Is there something on my face?!" There was a hint of panic in her voice.
"You said you had a question for Grant's mommy, earlier. Now here's your chance to ask her." Will said.
"Oh, you're right! I do have a question for her! Thanks for reminding me, Will!" Ashley then raised her hand and was given permission to ask Michelle a question. "Have you… no wait… What is… no that's not the question I wanted to ask. Who… nope that isn't it, either. Do you… wait, that's not the question either. Okay, I think I got it. Where… oh never mind! I forgot what I was going to ask!" She sounded a bit angry with herself for not being able to remember.
"That's alright. Maybe you'll remember it, soon." Michelle smiled at Ashley.
"I have a question." Haley had her hand raised and was given permission to ask. "When you get injured, do you fix yourself or do you go to another nurse or doctor?"
"Well, if it's just a small injury such as a paper cut, I usually fix it, myself. But if it's a big injury, then I have to have the help of someone else." Michelle said.
"Can I ask a question?" Reid had his hand raised.
"Yes, Spencer. You may ask a question." Miranda said.
Reid looked at Michelle and said, "Have you ever been grossed out by any of the injuries that you see?"
"There have been a few times where I have been grossed out, but I won't go into too much detail about that."
There were no more hands raised. Miranda thanked the parents for being there and talking about their careers. She then advised the students to thank the parents.
"Thank you." The students said in unison.
"You're welcome." The parents replied back in unison.
"Oh! I almost forgot. Ashley, do you remember what you wanted to ask Michelle?" Miranda asked.
"No." Ashley said solemnly with her arms folded across her chest.
End of chapter eight. Please leave me some reviews because you all know that I'd love to know what you thought. I'm working on chapter nine and I'll try to have it posed as soon as possible.
