A/N: Thanks for the reviews for the previous chapter. I'm glad you all enjoyed it. Hope you enjoy this next chapter, just as much.

Disclaimer: No one is this chapter belongs to me, except Emerson and Reese. They're both mine.

It was October twelfth and all the children were gathered at the Prentiss residence to celebrate Emily's seventh birthday. It was a little cold outside, so the party was indoors. Elizabeth was the only adult there, but she was capable of handling nineteen small children.

The cake was red velvet flavored with green icing and in the shape of a cat and it was sitting on the center of the table in the dining room, where all the presents sat in the corner of the room. The children were all in the living room, playing games, but some would often sneak into the dining room to take a look at the cake.

"Principal Prentiss?" Beth asked as Elizabeth was passing out a black balloon to each child.

"We're not in school, right now, sweetheart. You can call me Elizabeth." Elizabeth smiled at Beth as she handed her a balloon.

"Oh, okay. Why is Emily's birthday cake, green? I've never seen a green cat before."

"I guess that's what she wanted." Elizabeth said.

"I picked green icing for it because the cat is supposed to be sick." Emily explained.

Elizabeth let out a small laugh and said, "Emily, you have a very active imagination."

Elizabeth's cell phone soon rang and she looked at it to see who it was. When she saw the name on the screen, she excused herself from the room. The children continued to play and talk.

"When can we eat some cake and ice cream?" Aaron asked.

"Mommy has to find the ice cream scooper and cake knife, first. She's always loosing things. One time, she lost her head and it took a whole day for her to find it." Emily said as everyone just looked at her with confused looks.

"How could she have found her own head, if she lost it?" Will asked.

"Because Agent Butterscotch Waffles, her head told her feet where to walk to." Emily said.

"Emily, I don't think she really lost her head. I think you're just making it all up." Maeve said.

"Trust me, Agent Fuzzy Mittens. She really did lose it. I was there. I saw it happened." Emily said.

Soon, Elizabeth walked back into the living room, apologizing for having to take that call. She then noticed that most of the children had frightened looks on their faces.

"Uh, oh. What happened? Emily did you scare them?"

"No mommy, I did not. All I told them was about the day you lost your head and you spend an entire day looking for it."

"Emily, that is a scary story and I've never lost my head. If I did lose it, then I wouldn't be here, today."

"Yes you have lost your head. You just don't remember." Emily began to argue with her mother.

"Emily, I'm certain that never hap…"

"Who was on the phone?" Grant interrupted Elizabeth.

"Oh, uh… it was nobody." Elizabeth said.

"Wait, you were talking to yourself?" There was a quizzical expression on Haley's face.

"That's normal for mommy. She'll talk to anything. Last week, I saw her talking to a pile of dirt. At least that's what I thought it was." Emily shuddered at those last few words.

Elizabeth let out a small giggle and said, "Emily, you have a very active imagination."

Emily just shrugged her shoulders and said, "I know what I saw."

"Where's my little birthday girl?!" A male voice called out.

Emily's eyes lit up even more as she recognized the voice. "Daddy's home!" She happily exclaimed as she ran to the front door and jumped into the arms of her father, Emerson Prentiss. He smiled as he lifted her in his arms and embraced her in a hug. His suitcase was seating on the floor next to his feet.

"Happy birthday, sweetheart." Emerson said as he planted a kiss on his daughter's forehead.

"Thanks Daddy." Emily said with a laugh. She then looked Rossi with a serious expression and asked, "Hey, why aren't you running up to my daddy and calling him your daddy? You always call my mommy your mommy."
Rossi, who had been standing by Elizabeth, along with the other children, simply replied, "Because he's not my daddy. Seriously, Emily, don't you think I know who my daddy is?"

"Yeah, it's one of those delicious cookie making elves. And so is your mommy. Now get away from mine." Emily rudely said.

"I don't have to." Rossi rudely replied back.

"You better." Emily threatened.

"Alright you two. Let's not have a fight on a happy day." Emerson said. He then looked at Elizabeth and mouthed the words, "Why does he think you're his mother?"

Elizabeth just shrugged her shoulders and mouthed back to him, "No idea."

A little while later, after everyone had played games and watched Emily open her gifts, they were all now seated at the table, eating cake and ice cream and drinking punch. Elizabeth and Emerson were in the living room, cleaning up some of the mess.

"Penelope, why are you crying?" Clyde asked.

"Because this poor cat didn't deserve to die!" Garcia wailed as she took a bite of her slice of cake.

"You know it's not a real cat, right?" Reid asked.

"Are you calling my girlfriend stupid? Cause if you are, I'm taking the icing off your cake." Kevin threatened.

Hastily covering his slice of cake with both of his hands, Reid replied, "No! I was just asking her!"

"Uh oh. What happened?" Elizabeth and Emerson had both just walked into the room to see an upset Garcia, an angry Kevin and a slightly frightened Reid who still had his hands protectively over his slice of cake.

"Well, mommy if you really must know, here's what happened… Agent Sparkly Potato Bee is crying because you killed a cat and made it into my birthday cake. Agent Tomato Soup Chip Cookie questioned Agent Sparkly Potato Bee's intelligence and now he's scared because Agent Cinnamon Horse Shoe threatened to take his cake for questioning Agent Sparkly Potato Bee's intelligence." Emily explained.

"First of all, it's not a real cat. So there's nothing to worry about, Penelope. Kevin, I'm sure Spencer didn't mean to question Penelope's intelligence in the way you think he did. And Spencer, no one is going to take your cake." Elizabeth explained to the three children.

"You're right about the last two mommy, but you are so wrong about the first one. This cake really did use to be cat. Don't you remember?" Emily asked.

"Emily, sweetheart, I'm sure your cake didn't use to be a real cat." Emerson said.

"Daddy, you stay out of this. You wasn't here when mommy got mad at the neighbor's cat." Emily said.

"Why did your mommy get mad at the neighbor's cat?!" Grant was slightly frightened.

"Well, Agent Mistaken Identity, it all happened on a stormy day last week. Mommy was outside taking the laundry off the clothesline when Sparky the cat jumped off the neighbor's roof and landed right on mommy's head. Mommy was soooooooooooooooooooo mad. And long story short, this is now Sparky." Emily pointed at her cake. "He will be missed, but on the Brightside, he sure is delicious!"

"Emily, we don't have a clothesline outside and it didn't even rain last week. And I don't think I'd be going out in the middle of storm."

"Keep telling yourself that, mommy." Emily took a bite of her cake.

A couple of hours later, most of the children had been picked up by their parents. The only child who was still waiting for their parents, was Morgan. Elizabeth had gone out to pick up a few things from the grocery store. Derek and Emerson were in the living room, talking while they waited for at least one of Derek's parents to retrieve him. And Emily was somewhere in the house.

"What happened to your wrist, Derek?" Emerson asked with concern in his voice.

"Well, a few weeks ago at recess, I was lying on the ground and doing my daily five thousand sit ups, when I happened to look up and saw a tree on fire. There was a nest of baby birds way up in high in the tree and I just knew that I couldn't let them burn to death. So I did what anyone else would have done. I climbed the…"

"That's not how you broke your wrist!" Emily appeared from behind the couch, wearing a rather odd looking outfit. She was wearing a pink leotard with a black ballet tutu, a butterfly masquerade mask, a bunny ears headband, lady bug wings and a pair of panda bear slippers.

Both Derek and Emerson were slightly startled by Emily's sudden and unexpected appearance. Derek coolly looked at Emily and said, "How would you know? Was You there?"

"Uh, yeah and so was JJ." Emily then turned to her father and said, "He broke it from showing off on the jungle gym when he was hanging upside down. And he doesn't do five thousand sit ups a day. He only does three."

"Hey, I can't help it if this injury gave me memory loss. And I do to do five thousand sit ups a day. You just don't see me do it." Morgan said defensively.

"You didn't even hit your head! And no you don't do five thousand sit ups a day. You never have!" Emily complained.

"I have too!"

"Liar!"

"Okay, you two. There's no need to argue over this. It's not that important. And Emily, sweetheart, why are you dressed like that?" Emerson asked with a confused expression.

Emily sighed heavily and said, "If you really must know, I'm on a spy mission. And you have to call me by my code name, Agent Pink Flamingo Bug."

"What kind of spy mission?!" There was some excitement in Derek's voice.

"Somewhere in this house, there's a grasshopper, riding a frog and stealing all the silverware from the kitchen. I have to find him."

"Ooh! Can I help?!" Derek asked.

Emily thought for a moment before finally saying, "Oh, okay. I guess I could use your help. From this moment on, you will now be known as Agent…"

Emily was interrupted by the sound of the door bell ringing. Emerson answered the door and called for Derek. "Derek, your father is here to pick you up!"

"Oh man! I really wanted to help Agent Pink Flamingo find that grasshopper!" Derek whined.

"I'm sorry Derek, but I think your father would like to take you home now. Maybe you and Emily, can play your spy mission game on some other day?" Emerson suggested.

Emily gasped and said, "Daddy, you're supposed to call me Agent Pink Flamingo Bug!"

"Oh, I'm sorry sweetheart. Derek, you ready to go home, now?" Emerson asked.

Derek sighed heavily and said, "I guess." He then walked to the front door with Emerson, where his father, Reese Morgan had been waiting for him.

"Did you have fun today?" Reese asked.

"Yep, before you got here, me and Agent Pink Flamingo Bug was going to play spies." Derek was now smiling.

"Agent Pink Flamingo Bug? Who's that?" Reese asked with a confused expression.

"She is." Emerson said of his daughter. "She likes to act like she's on spy missions every once in a while and she uses fake names for herself."

"Yeah, I'm looking for a grasshopper riding a frog and stealing all the silverware from the kitchen. So, you have to call me "Agent Pink Flamingo Bug until this spy mission is over." Emily chimed in.

"Oh, I see. I hope you find that grasshopper very soon." Reese smiled at Emily. He then turned to his son and said, "Did you tell Agent Pink Flamingo Bug, thank you for inviting you to her birthday party?"

"I almost forgot. Thanks for inviting me to your birthday party, Agent Pink Flamingo Bug." Derek said.

"You're welcome, Agent Blueberry Pepperoni Shoelaces." Emily said.

End of chapter ten. I'm sorry it took a while to get it updated. I've just been so focused on my "Annoying Ways" series. On the bright side, at least this chapter has more than a thousand words in it. Well, anyway, please send me some reviews! Good or bad, you know I'll accept them both. I'm not sure when I'll have chapter eleven up, but you'll know, when you see it.
