-Shelby and Dean's House-
Dean and Shelby were in a good place it was a while down the road now in fact in a few days it would be their 2nd wedding anniversary and Dean and Shelby were planning a party to celebrate well Shelby was Dean was just nodding his head and agreeing with everything Shelby came up with. They had been through a lot in their marriage and were in a good place Shelby couldn't be happier.
Shelby and Dean walked down the steps Shelby smiled when she saw her mother was up her mother and brothers were in town her mother was staying with them while her brothers were staying at a hotel. Shelby smiled at her mother as she stood up. "Morning mom..." Shelby smiled hugging her mother.
"Morning sweetie.." Audrey hugged her daughter. "Morning Dean... you two sleep well?" Audrey backed away and picked up her coffee mug taking a sip.
"Very well..." Dean wrapped his arm around Shelby's waist and kissed her cheek.
"Well I have breakfast ready... so you should come out and get something to eat..." Audrey smiled
"Great... I'm starved.." Dean smiled and took Shelby's hand as they made their way to the kitchen. They all sat at the table in the kitchen and began to eat. After they were all finished Shelby and Audrey cleaned up the kitchen before heading out to the living room were Dean was watching a game on TV.
Shelby smiled and looked over to the door when she heard a knock. Shelby walked over to door and opened it she smiled when she saw her brother Jason and his girlfriend Gina along with their little boy who had just turned 1 a few days ago. "Hey Jed..." Shelby smiled reaching her arms out to her nephew who instantly jumped into her arms. "Come on guys..." Shelby motioned for them to come in the house.
Shelby walked out to the living room and smiled at Dean who stood up and tussled the little boys hair. "Hey little guy.." Dean smiled "Hey guys... how's it going?" Dean asked
"Pretty good... he had a blast at the pool last night.." Jason laughed.
Shelby smiled "He is so big... I swear you must of grown two inches since I last saw you.." Shelby smiled down at little Jed who giggled and grabbed at her hair.
Dean laughed as he saw the little boy grab for Shelby's hair.
"He loves his auntie Shelby..." Audrey smiled
"And Auntie Shelby loves him..." Shelby kissed his forehead.
"Your going to be a great mother..." Gina smiled "When are you two going to start a family?"
Shelby shrugged "When the time is right it will happen..."
Dean nodded and placed an arm around Shelby waist.
Jason nodded "Well if you don't start soon... mom's going to start harping on us to have another one.." Jason laughed. "it's just you and me who are in relationship's so we are the only ones she has to choose from.."
Shelby laughed "I know... our brothers don't seem to know how to settle down.."
"When they find the right girls.. they will.." Audrey spoke up.
"Sure.." Jason and Shelby said in unison with a laugh
"So how's the party planning going?" Gina asked
"It's going well..." Shelby smiled
"Shelby's been doing most of the planning.." Dean shrugged
"Well you'll have plenty of work to do the day of the party with all the setting up.." Shelby smiled "Actually you and my brothers.."
"I didn't volunteer.." Jason piped up.
"Mom did it for you.." Shelby laughed
"Mom..." Jason rolled his eyes
"Oh come on... you boys can help your sister.." Audrey shook her head.
-The Day Of The Party-
Shelby smiled as she walked down the steps looking around everything was coming together. She smiled as she saw Trey walk in with some tables and Jason behind him with some sacks of party supplies. Shelby stepped off the last step and took the sacks from him and took them to the kitchen placing them on the counter. She started taking them out and sighed shaking her head. "No no no..." Shelby sighed
"What's wrong babe?" Dean walked up behind her wrapping his arms around her.
"These are supposed to be black and white not black and green... this is all wrong.." Shelby tossed the table covers on the counter.
"We will make it work... don't worry..." Dean kissed her cheek.
Shelby sighed and turned to face him shaking her head "Dean... everything is supposed to be perfect this isn't supposed to be going on.."
Dean shook his head "We will make it work..." Dean sighed
"This is going to throw the whole color scheme off..." Shelby shook her head "I told them I needed Black and White covers for the tables not Black and Green... where did they get green from?.."
"Well we can use the black ones... is their enough to cover the tables?" Dean asked
Shelby sighed and counted them and saw they didn't have enough. "No..."
"How about I go get some white ones.. I'll take one of the packages to show them what I want.." Dean said trying to clam Shelby who was on the verge of a melt down.
"Really?... that would be wonderful.." Shelby stood on her tip toes and kissed him.
"I'll be back in a few.." Dean grabbed one of the green table covers and took it with him.
Shelby sighed and shook her head as she started going through the rest of the bags getting everything together. Audrey walked out and smiled "How is it going?" Audrey asked
"They got the wrong table cloths.. I wanted Black and White clothes they sent Black and Green.. so Dean is running to grab some white cloths.." Shelby shook her head "Now I've got to tell the boys where to put the last of the tables..." Shelby said and Audrey followed her to the living room where her brothers were talking. "Hey... less talk more work.." Shelby said walking over to them.
"Someone's bossy.." Justin rolled his eyes.
"No kidding.." Trey laughed
"Your still not working.." Shelby said crossing her arms over her chest. Shelby's brothers shook their heads and laughed as they started setting up the last of the tables.
A while later Dean walked back into the house and smiled holding up the sack of new table cloths. "Got them.." Dean smiled
"Great.." Shelby smiled walking over to him and giving him a quick peck on the cheek. She looked over to the side of her and saw a huge spider on the wall she screamed and jumped into Dean's arms.
"What's wrong babe?" Dean raised a brow
"Spider.. Spider..." Shelby yelled pointing at the wall.
Dean looked over and saw the spider he laughed and shook his head carried her over to the stairs and put her down before making his way over to the wall grabbing the spider and taking it outside. Dean walked back in "It's gone..." He said with a small smirk.
"My hero.." Shelby smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck kissing him.
-The Anniversary Party-
Dean and Shelby were mingling with all the guests. Shelby smiled as she saw Nikki and John Cena walk in. Shelby walked over and hugged Nikki then John. "I'm glad you guys could make it.." Shelby smiled
"You know I wouldn't miss it.." Nikki smiled
"And you know me... where ever my girl is.. I am.." John smiled
"Well come in... we've got drinks and the food is wonderful..." Shelby smiled
"Food and Drinks... count me in.." Nikki laughed.
On the other side of the room Dean was talking to Roman. Roman smiled and patted his friend on the back "You've come a long way bro.. I'm happy for you.." Roman smiled
"Thanks.. I never thought I'd be married let alone celebrating my second wedding anniversary..." Dean smiled
"Well you picked a wonderful woman you know.." Roman nodded
"I know.. I'm one lucky S.O.B..." Dean laughed
"You got that right.." Roman laughed also.
Jason and Trey were talking to some of Shelby and Dean's friends. Trey and Jason noticed Justin had disappeared. "Where did he go?" Trey asked Jason.
"Who knows..." Jason sighed
"What's going on?" Shelby questioned walking over to them.
"Justin took off somewhere.." Trey looked to his sister.
Shelby raised a brow "Well I'll go find him.." Shelby said before walking off she went to the kitchen and saw outside the door that Justin and Rosa were talking they looked pretty close. You could of knocked her over with a feather when she saw Justin and Rosa kiss. Her eyes widened and she went to the door opening. "What the hell?" Shelby looked between the two of them.
"We were going to tell you.." Rosa blurted out.
"How long?... how long has it been going on?" Shelby questioned
"A couple months..." Rosa said softly.
"It's not a big deal.." Justin sighed
"My best friend and my brother dating behind my back.. yeah that's a big deal.." Shelby sighed
"What's going on?" Dean questioned walking up behind them.
"Well it seems my brother and my best friend are hooking up.." Shelby shook her head.
"Well... that's unexpected.." Dean laughed "Good for you two.." Dean smiled
Shelby shot him a look
"Come on babe.. let's go enjoy our party.." Dean said taking Shelby's hand. "You two have fun.." Dean said with a smile as he dragged Shelby off.
"I told you we should of told her when we first started going together.." Rosa sighed
"She'll be fine.." Justin laughed "Let's go.." Justin took Rosa's hand and they made it back into the party.
After about 30 minutes Dean noticed Shelby had disappeared he walked upstairs thinking maybe she went to change she was saying that the dress she had on was making her pretty cold. Dean walked into their room and saw Shelby was looking at a box that was gold with a white ribbon on it. Dean walked over to her "What's that?" Dean questioned.
"It's your present... but you don't get it tell later.." Shelby smiled turning around to him.
"I want it now.." Dean went to grab it but Shelby slapped his hand away. "Come on babe.." Dean whined.
"I said not until later.." Shelby shook her head "You can wait until they leave..."
"No... come on.. not fair... let me open it.." Dean sighed trying to take it again put she puts it behind her back.
"I said no.." Shelby gives him a stern look.
"Please.." Dean gives her a puppy dog look. "Come on.." Dean leans in and kisses her neck hitting her weak spot causing a soft moan to escape her mouth.
"Dean.." Shelby moan. "Fine.. fine.. you win.." Shelby backed up.
"I always do.." Dean smirked
"Okay well I wanted to wait until it was just us tonight to give this to you but since you don't know how to take no for an answer.." Shelby handed him over the little gold box with ribbon around it. "Here.."
Dean smiled and took the ribbon on and placing it on the table. He looked at Shelby and smiled before opening it. His mouth dropped open. Shelby looked at him trying to read his expression Shelby all but held her breath as he looked up at her taking out the little paper that was inside placing the box on the table he held it up. "Is this real?... are you?" Dean walked closer to her.
Shelby nodded and gave him a small smile "Yes.. I'm pregnant.." Shelby said pointing to the ultrasound in Dean's hand "I'm 6 weeks... " Shelby said softly still trying to read him.
Dean looked down at the ultrasound before looking back at her he threw his arms around her holding her for a second before kissing her. Dean pulled away and smiled.
"So your happy?" Shelby questioned
"You have no idea how happy I am.." Dean smiled and kissed her again. "How long have you known?"
"I just found out today.. that's where I was this morning when you woke up..." Shelby said softly
"This has got to be the best anniversary present a man could ask for.." Dean smiled and wrapped his arms around her again lifting her up before spinning her around. Dean placed her back on the ground and smiled placing his hand on her stomach. "We are going to be parents.." Dean smiled
"I know... I'm so excited.." Shelby smiled
"Me too.." Dean smiled "So how about we go let our friends and family in on our news.."
"Sounds like a plan.." Shelby smiled and took Dean's hand.
Downstairs Shelby and Dean got everyone's attention. Dean smiled gathered everyone around. "Well Shelby and I would like to thank everyone for coming to celebrate our 2 year of marriage with us.. " Dean smiled looking to Shelby "Everyday I wake up next to this wonderful woman I'm married to I realize how lucky I am.. and how much of a better person she makes me..." Dean smiled and gave her a kiss on the cheek as everyone gave an aww in unison. "Well my wife just gave me the most wonderful present I could have asked for... Dean reached into his pocket and took out the ultrasound and held it up "Shelby just gave this to me making me the happiest man alive... I'm going to be a dad.. Shelby and I are having a baby.." Dean smiled
Everyone clapped and cheered as people started coming up and congratulating the happy couple and parents to be. Shelby's mother Audrey came over hugging her daughter first. "I can't believe it.. you didn't tell me.." Audrey smiled "I'm so happy for you guys.." Audrey hugged Dean.
"Thanks mom..." Shelby smiled
"Congrats.. sis.." Jason smiled "Look like Jed is going to have a cousin to play with after all.." Jason smiled
"I'm so happy for you guys.. you are going to make great parents.." Gina smiled.
"Thanks.." Dean smiled
"Congrats.." Trey smiled and hugged his sister.
Justin and Rosa walked over "Wow this has been some party.." Justin smiled "Congrats guys.."
Shelby smiled
Rosa looked to Shelby "Your not mad at me are you?" Rosa asked
"No.. of course not..." Shelby smiled hugging Rosa.
"I'm so happy for you Shelby.. your going to be a great mother.." Rosa smiled
"Thanks Rosa.." Shelby smiled
After the party was over Shelby and Dean made sure everyone had made it out before turning their attention to the mess that was waiting for them. "Leave it.." Dean said walking behind her wrapping his arms around her. "Your mom said she'd help us in the morning when she gets back.." Dean said Audrey had gone to a hotel for the night wanting to give them so alone time.
"It's a mess.." Shelby sighed
"Don't worry... we can take care of it in the morning.." Dean said giving her a kiss on the cheek. "I want to spend some time with my beautiful wife..." Dean smiled turning her to face him. "I love you so much Shelby.. you know that right?"
"I know.." Shelby smiled "and I love you.."
"You gave me the most wonderful gift tonight... now I want to try to make it up to you..." Dean picked her up in his arms carrying her up the stairs. Dean was on cloud nine he was so excited about the idea of becoming a father for once in his life everything was going right he finally felt like he was getting the kind of life that people only hear about in the movies. He had a wonderful wife and now he was going to have a little boy or girl life was great.
