A/N: Just want to say a quick thank you to those who read and reviewed the previous chapter. I'm glad you liked it. I hope you like this next chapter just as much.
Disclaimer: Miranda is mine. Everyone else in this chapter, however is not.
It was Tuesday morning when JJ finally returned to school. Her forehead was still stitched up and her face was still bruised. Sandra and Max wanted her to wait a few more days for her to return to school. At least until the bruise was completely gone, but JJ argued that she didn't want to wait. She didn't want an injury keeping her away from her friends.
When she got to the classroom that morning, she was suddenly swarmed by her nineteen classmates. They were all happy to see her and asking questions all at once.
"JJ, were you in a lot of pain?"
"JJ, did you die and go to heaven or that other place that I'm not allowed to say because my mommy and daddy says it's a bad word?"
"Are you gonna have a scar?"
"Is that bruise on your face ever gonna go away?"
JJ was overwhelmed by the questions, but none the less, she answered them. "I didn't feel like I was in a lot of pain. No I didn't die and go to Heaven or Hell," She apologized when Penelope gasped at the word "Hell." "Yes, I'll probably have a scar. And the doctor said the bruise should be gone by next week."
"Did you read all the cards that we made for you, yesterday?" Jordan asked.
"Yes and thank you all for them." JJ said.
The children were already in their seats, by the time Miranda had walked into the room. She smiled when she saw JJ.
"Welcome back, Jennifer. How are you feeling?"
"Thank you. I'm okay." JJ answered. She didn't even bother with correcting her teacher on her name. If Miranda wanted to call her by her actual name, then JJ saw no use in arguing with her.
"I'm glad to hear that." Miranda said. "Okay class, let's get started. We're going to start this morning off with some group reading. I'm going to take five of you at a time back to the reading area. First, I'll take Grant, Jordan, Maeve, Jason and Savannah. The rest of you can have some free time until it's your turn to be called to the reading area."
While Miranda, Grant, Jordan, Maeve, Jason and Savannah were all at the reading area, the rest of the class were all crowded around JJ's desk.
"Are you and Emily friends again?" Penelope asked hopefully.
"Yeah. We're friends again." JJ and Emily said in unison as they both smiled.
"Yay! I knew you would be!" Penelope proudly said.
"And besides, if we didn't fix our friendship now, then me, and Aaron won't be able to save Emily's life in the future from a very crazy man who likes four leaf clovers. There also may be a chance that Clyde will…"
"What are you talking about?!" Emily, along with everyone else was confused with what JJ had just said.
"Try not to panic, Emily, but I had this dream where years from now, you're gonna get taken by a crazy four leaf clover loving man because he thinks your some lady named Lauren Reynolds. Well, long story short, me and Aaron have to fake your death and send you all the way to Paris, France. Also we'll have to give you a fake name too. "
"What about me?" Clyde asked.
"What about you?" A look of confusion had crossed JJ's face.
"Before Emily interrupted you, you were about to say something about me."
JJ was still confused, until she finally remembered. "Oh right! I was about to say that there's a chance that you'll be helping me and Aaron."
Emily was silent and stunned for a moment. She didn't know what to say or do, until Spencer waved a hand in front of her face.
"Emily? Are you okay?" He was starting to get worried.
"I'm gonna go to Paris, France in the future?! Awesome! I've always wanted to go there! I'm gonna go tell my mommy!" Emily started to race to the door, until JJ pulled her back.
"You can't tell her! You can't tell anyone!"
"Why not? They all know." Emily said of the students that were crowded around JJ's desk.
"But they're all gonna forget all about it, when it happens. Principal Prentiss won't forget if you tell her." JJ explained. She then looked at Will, who was smiling. "What are you so happy about?" She snapped.
"I'll finally be free of you when you and Aaron go to Paris, France with Emily!" He happily said as he did an awkward dance.
"Sit down Mr. Flashy dancer, you're embarrassing yourself. I never said me and Aaron were going to Paris, France with Emily. I said we were sending her to Paris, France." JJ explained.
"Really?" Will asked in disbelief. He had stopped dancing.
"Mmhm. Sorry, but you're stuck with me forever."
"Awe! That's too bad!" Will pouted.
Believing that Will was only joking, JJ just laughed. "You're funny, Will! And if me and Aaron and possibly Clyde don't fake Emily's death in the future, she won't be able come back so many months later and save your life from that one crazy lady."
"Wait, Emily's gonna save my life when she comes back from the dead?" Will was now confused.
"Uh yeah. Don't you remember? Emily mentioned it a few months ago."
Will's mind raced back to a few months earlier to something Emily had told him.
"Many years from now, you'll be tied up and I'll be forced to swoop in and save your life."
He shuddered at the memory. "Now I remember." Turning to Emily, he had a serious look on his face. "Try not to be late from coming back from the dead, okay?"
"Don't worry, Agent Flamingo Telephone. I'll be there for you." Emily reassured him.
"I don't think any of that will happen." Elle announced.
"Trust us, Agent Butterscotch. When it rains chocolate chips, you're gonna wish you had believed us." Emily said.
Elle gave Emily a strange and doubtful look.
"That's makes no sense at all." She said.
"Maybe it doesn't now, but it will. Soon enough. Just you wait and see." Emily said.
Elle just shrugged her shoulders and said, "Eh, I'll believe it when I see it."
End of chapter twenty. Leave me some reviews please. Good or bad. You know I'll accept both. Just don't be extremely cruel if you didn't like it. I'll have chapter twenty one up as soon as I can.
