A/N: Thanks to all those who read and reviewed the previous chapter. I really appreciate it. I hope you like this next chapter just as much.

Disclaimer: I only own Miranda Norton in this chapter. Everyone else belongs to CBS/Criminal Minds.

Weeks had passed and it was the now the day of the first graders Valentine's day party. Every child got a home-made Valentine's day card from each of their classmates. As they sat at their desks and ate their candy and drank their apple juices, they read their cards. Miranda had soon noticed Savannah was taking a card away from each of the other girls.

"Savannah? Sweetheart, what are you doing?" Miranda asked.

"Derek's my boyfriend," Savannah explained. "So he's not allowed to give any other girl a Valentine's day card."

"Savannah, you need to give those back to who they belong to," Miranda said. "We don't take gifts away from others."

"But what if they try to steal Derek away from me?" Savannah sighed.

"Trust us, you can keep him." Ashley said.

"You'll all change you mind when you take another look at how awesome my abs look on the card." Derek flashed a grin.

"Not gonna happen," Elle said. "We all took out a marker and colored a shirt on the picture once we got your card."

Derek looked hurt by Elle's comment. The grin faded away and he placed a hand to his chest.

"Because of that, Elle," He began. "Guess who won't be getting a New Year's card from me this year."

"That has already passed, Derek," Spencer said. "It was the first day of January."

"Really? Where was I?" Derek asked.

"I don't know," Spencer said. "I wasn't with you."

"You're the genius here, you're supposed to know!"

"No, I'm not!"

"Okay boys," Miranda said, not wanting the arguing to escalate. "That's enough. Let's enjoy our party. And Savannah, I want you to give the rest of the girls their cards back. Now."

Savannah sighed.

"Fine." She began giving the cards back to the girls.

"Hey Spencer," Aaron called out.

"What?" Spencer asked.

"When you said, "No, I'm not!", Did you mean you're not really a genius or that you're not supposed to know where Derek was on New Year's day?"

"I meant that I'm not supposed to know where Derek was that day." Spencer explained.

"Oh, okay. Just checking," Aaron replied.

Okay, so I really couldn't think of anything else for this chapter. So I'll just end it now. I know it's short, but in my defense, most of the other chapters in this story are a thousand words or more. And I believe there is no harm in having short chapters. Anyway, please leave me some reviews. I'd love to know what you all thought. Chapter twenty two will be posted as soon as possible.
