I am literally the most horrible person ever, but we all already know that. This chapter is far too short, but I couldn't get it going. :/ But hey! Patricia and Eddie have their date in this chapter, and for once, I like how a scene turned out. :)

Sorry, though, I hope these will get longer.

Vote on the poll on my profile so I can start a new story that I'll never update! ;D

"Alfie," Willow smiled dreamily, touching his arm gently. "How are you?"

He looked up and returned her smile. "I'm fine. How are you, Willow?"

"Tranquil."

He stopped stroking the back of the gray horse he was brushing. "Tranquil?"

"Yes." She nodded seriously, her hazel eyes drifting over the horse's form. "Are you giving Princess Amber's horse the proper amount of attention?"

"Yes, I'm taking very good care of her." He assured her.

"Good," she smiled happily.

Alfie continued with his work while Willow followed him and helped in any way she could without getting in his way. Occasionally she would ask him a question and he would take a short break to answer her, but once he was finished with the rest of the horses, she took his hand and led him out of the stables.

She giggled when he asked her where they were going and pulled him a stone wall that surrounded the palace. She lifted herself onto it and motioned for him to do the same as she swung her legs over the edge. When he sat beside her, she gestured to the sunset with a brilliant smile.

"Isn't it beautiful?"

He smiled a little, meeting her eyes. "Yeah, Willow, it's nice."

Willow bit her bottom lip and leaned closer to him. "I really like you, Alfie."

"I like you too," he replied.

She closed the distance between them quickly and kissed him.

Patricia made a face, pulling at the dress Amber had stuffed her into. She glanced over her shoulder nervously, wondering if someone was following her, even though she knew no one was, and continued down the path to the clearing. When she stood in the middle of the clearing, she almost thought that she was in the wrong one, but she knew she was in the right clearing, so where was Eddie?

"Hey, Yacker," he grinned, walking out from behind a tree. He stopped and his eyes drifted over her body. "Nice dress."

"Maybe you'd like to wear it," she retorted.

"Nah, but if you're going to be naked—"

"I thought we were having dinner out here, Slimeball," She snapped at him.

He grinned lopsidedly. "I changed my mind."

She stared at him blankly, arms folded across her chest.

He rolled his eyes and stepped forward, wrapping his arm around her waist. She made no move to remove it, despite her irritation with him at the moment, and let him lead her down another path.

"I decided to move it to a different clearing. Just in case. Jerry told me about it."

"And you think it's a good idea to come here because…" she drifted off, arching a dark eyebrow.

He sent her a sideways glance as they entered the next clearing. "Because I trust him with my life. But not my love life, so this might ruin everything between us."

"I expect nothing less," she shrugged. She followed him to the rocky platform, peering up at the moon through the trees. "How did he find this place then?"

"He and Mara came up here, I think." Eddie said.

Patricia nodded once, smiling at him a little when he turned to her. His expression turned to confusion when she took a step away from him. She hopped backwards and disappeared as she dropped from the ledge. Eddie stared at the spot she had been standing for a moment before looking down at her floating the pool below the rocks.

"What the hell are you doing?" he laughed.

"I'm surprised you didn't freak out. You seem kind of jumpy tonight. You need to loosen up." She responded, pushing her wet hair out of her face.

Eddie smirked and let out a small sigh as he relented. He removed his leather vest and dropped down into the pool, splashing in beside her. She rose a little with the water and she smiled at him when he surfaced. He glided closer to her, wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her into his chest, and pressing their foreheads together. "You are absolutely beautiful." He whispered.

"Don't ruin it," she murmured half-heartedly, winding her arms around his neck and tugging his head to hers until their lips met.

I was reading over this story and To Save What You Love and I was just laughing at how terrible these stories are. Like, I get that you guys like them, but they're terrible. :P

Anyway, got any ideas? Send 'em in, 'cause I'm always open for ideas. Keep in mind that I do have an outline, so I can't promise that I'll use any or all ideas, but I'd give you credit if I did. ;)

"Never used to be so complicated, no in between, just black and white. When everything turns to gray, I still see you. When the cold won't go away, I can still feel you. Even when the sky is falling and I'm hanging on by a thread, I'm standing on the edge of nothing, but I know it's not broken, I know it's not broken yet." -Not Broken Yet, Juliet Simms
