Oh my god, please forgive me guys! It has been hectic at home, and I was in South Africa for the past week so I haven't had much time! Thank you so so so so much for the positive feedback! I love writing, and it's awesome that you guys are enjoying it! :3 Just a warning, I know little about motorcycles, I just wanted Double D to look fancy :{ also, this chapter is so fluffy, it could be a poodle convention, I don't know :) Sorry its so long, I edited and added so much stuff!

Kevin leaned in close and stared deeply at Double D's sleeping form. His lips were slightly parted, with his gap visible behind his supple pink lips. Kevin bit his own lips, willing himself to look away. He had no idea what it was he was feeling at that moment. He felt his phone vibrate, it was a message from Nazz. A pang of guilt wracked through Kevin's body, his feelings were in turmoil, but only one thing was clear; Double D was making have these feelings. His calm, cool, collected demeanor was being shattered by a gangly, awkward nerd...

Kevin glimpsed again at Double D, who was nuzzling his face into Kevin's chest. Without a second thought, Kevin leaned in and pressed his forehead against Edd's, something Nazz never let him do because of make up, or spreading oil or some shit. It was warm there, almost hot. Kevin felt his breath hitch as he continued to press his nose on Double D's, but as his lips neared, he stopped himself and closed his eyes, forcing himself asleep.

A sudden shift of weight roused me from my sleep. I struggled to open my eyes, becoming aware of the dryness in my mouth, and my pounding head ache. When my eyes finally opened, I found myself looking at the face of a handsome ginger man, who was pouting as he slumbered. It dawned on me who it was, and the events of last night returned. I was sleeping in Kevin's bed! And not only was I in his bed, I was also in his arms. I extracted myself from his hold, causing him to shift slightly and smack his lips.

Ohgod ohgod ohgod!

I felt myself panicking. What happened last night? What had I done? Did I do anything embarrassing? Did I force myself on him? I vaguely recalled our conversations, but I was sure that some memories must have been wiped out by the alcohol. I moved towards the edge of the bed, ready to bolt out the door, but the symptoms of a hangover soon rendered me helpless. I clutched my head and let out a small whine. Nonetheless, I knew I had to get out immediately. Kevin would soon wake up and send me out himself, the rejection would be too much for my feeble heart to handle.

I pushed past the pain and stood up, my thin legs wavering under my body. I moved towards the door, but stopped in front of the mirror. My reflection was disconcerting. I was flushed, with my lips chapped and my eyes watery. I looked myself over and realized suddenly that I was not wearing a single article of clothing that belonged to me! Which meant that either I changed myself, which I did not recall, or… Kevin changed me himself. I held my face in horror as it dawned on me. Holy duck… he saw me naked!

I glanced at Kevin's sleeping form and then back to my own distressed one. Suddenly it dawned on me that something even worse had occurred; I did not have my hat. I looked around the room and noticed it sitting on the window sill. I rushed towards it, and pulled it on, holding it there in prayer. Kevin, KEVIN, had seen my head, MY HEAD! I was basically hyperventilating at this point, clasping onto my chest and trying to comprehend what had happened.

"Double D, are you alright?" Kevin's voice startled me, and I got up with a start. I had forgotten my main objective, to escape before he woke up. But it was too late for that now. He was watching me from behind hooded lids with a look of concern. I felt the bubble of anxiety burst and I rushed, "Kevin, I appreciate you taking care of my last night, but I do not comprehend how I got out of my clothes and into these (I indicated to my body) and why my hat was removed from my head!"

I was gasping for air; it was stuffy and I was having difficulty. I was panicking!

Kevin however, was incredibly calm. He threw his legs over the side of the bed, so that his feet were on the ground, and he stood up and moved towards me. When we were face to face, he placed his hands on my trembling shoulders and soothed them with his thumbs.

"I'm sorry if you feel like I violated you. We got wet in the rain and I had to change you out of those wet clothes, so I did. And your hat was soaked so I put it over here to dry. I'm really sorry, I just wanted to help"

I felt my anxiety transform into regret and guilt. He was only trying to be a good friend. I turned away in embarrassment and said, "I'm so sorry, I should have realized. But… you saw me without my hat"

"Yeah, what about that? I know you always wear it, but I don't get why" Kevin shrugged, removing his comforting hold from my shoulders. I blinked at him and said, "You don't see why?"

He shook his head.

"You're fine with how my head looks without the hat?" I pressed on, absentmindedly touching my head.

"Yeah, why not?"

"You don't think it's disgusting, as in… Eddy and Ed have always made it quite obvious how horrifying my head is"

Kevin smiled sympathetically and said, "Trust me, there's nothing wrong with it. Or at least, I see nothing disgusting or horrifying about it"

I found myself smiling, all anxiety and worry evaporating from my body. The relief was almost as intoxicating as the Tej, and I found myself leap onto Kevin and wrap my arms around him.

"Thank you" I whispered, attempting pulling away, but Kevin had his arms firmly around my frame. He held me for a while, rubbing my back comfortingly before he pulled away and whispered, "You're welcome. Nice Star Trek panties by the way"

I gasped in horror!

"KEVIN!"

I insisted to return to my room so I could finally shower, change into my own clothes and begin writing my article for the school magazine about Kevin. Kevin sat quietly and listened to my case, seeming as if he was actually taking it into consideration. As soon as I finished however, he stood up and set down his own case; I could shower in his room, wear his clothes and write my article later. In fact, he then argued that I should spend the day with him to gather more information for my article. I studied him doubtfully, but agreed to his demands anyway; I wasn't going to be the one to turn down a day with Kevin.

I prepared myself by showering with his manly soap, put on his oversized clothes and borrowing one of his beanies. It was an Adventure Time one, to which I was pleased to wear. We then hopped into his borrowed car, discussing in great detail the events within Adventure Time.

"Where are you going?" I asked, in the silence that followed our discussion.

"We are going to the garage to work on my bike. I planned today to fix it up, and I guess I'll use you as entertainment while I do it" he grinned and pulled into a parking lot. In front of us was a shoddy building, slightly dilapidated and moldy.

I stepped out of the car and looked up at the sky. The sun was attempting to peek through the thin layer of light grey clouds that were the only remains of the previous night's storm. I smiled up at the sky and enjoyed the warmth that emanated from the sky. I then opened my eyes and turned to Kevin, ready for his next orders. He was standing with his arms crossed, staring at me intently.

"Where to now, Captain?" I asked, smiling shyly.

"Follow me Princess" he said, finally moving towards the building.

I followed his instructions, stopping behind him as he pulled open the garage door. The scent of grease and petrol emanated from the dark building. Kevin stepped forward, heading to the centre of the building, where a motorcycle stood.

I moved towards it, standing opposite Kevin, who was also admiring the shiny red gas tank. She gleamed past the layer of dust that had accumulated on her. I searched the room and reached out for a cloth, wiping her down. While I did this, Kevin began to work on her engine, alternating between using his wrench and staring in perplexity.

"What is the matter Kevin" I asked, once my task was complete, and moved to his side. He looked over his shoulder and then back at the motorcycle, "Not sure, I've tried everything"

"Absolutely everything? Or just the engine?" I asked, noticing that all his tools were focused on the engine. He looked at me doubtfully for a moment, and then said, "What else could it be?"

I looked towards the bike and tapped my fingers against each other, suddenly self conscious. I had done a small course of engineering, out of interest of course. In it I had learned how vehicles needed certain tuning and attention.

"Have you checked the filter?" I suggested.

Kevin looked at me in confusion and then began to blush, "Why didn't I think of that? Oh my god, I'm an idiot" he said, moving to the other side bike. He began his work there, in his movements, and not acknowledging my existence. I stood silently and watched him work.

"You know, I should have known that. I would have taken it to a professional, but I tight for cash. I should have known for myself" he said, moving away from the bike to one of the shelves on the outskirts of the garage. He reached into a box and pulled out what seemed to be another filter. He returned to his place and after some time looked up at me, "I need a hand"

I moved to his side and knelt before the filter, which had been removed.

"I'll need you to hold this here" he said, taking my hand placing it under the filter. I assumed this would be an independent job, but Kevin kept his hand over mine, as he worked his bike. When my job was done I moved away, wanting to give him space and making some space to admire him

Once he had finished, he stood up and smiled at me, "Let's see if it worked!"

I watched him climb onto the bike, and attempt to start her up. She took several tries, but it seemed that the more force Kevin used the more likely she was to work. She sprung into life and purred beneath Kevin body. A plume of smoke erupted from her exhaust, but Kevin ignored it and continued to whoop in excitement.

"Shall we take her out for a spin?" Kevin said, winking and holding out his hand. I glimpsed at it doubtfully and said, "Helmet? You know me, safety first"

Kevin shook his head and stuck his hand out in insistence, "Don't you want to feel the breeze in your hair? No restrictions?"

"Well Kevin, there are restrictions to everything to prevent injury" I retorted, sticking my nose up at his persistent hand.

"Restrictions are there for keep us safe in case there's a risk of injury, but it's only a risk. I'll go slow and keep you safe, I promise" he said, turning his open hand into a pinky swear. I gave him my pinky, about to warn him that if I died that day with him, I would personally torture him in the next world, but he didn't give me a chance as he pulled me onto the bike.

"Ready?" he asked, grinning. I nodded, but he didn't seem convinced, "you're not in the right position yet, here"

He pulled my closer to him, so that my chest was pressed against his wide back, with my arms around his waist and my chin resting on his right shoulder. He smiled and started up the motorcycle, causing our bodies to rub against each other from the vibrations. I blushed instantly, surprised by not only our umpteenth moment of contact, but my movement that came along with it.

Kevin laughed as the vehicle lurched forward and before I knew it, we were off! We were going away from campus, towards the surrounding countryside. There were no cars around, so Kevin rode at him leisure, admiring the surrounding area. There were green hills with clumps of trees growing on them. The lake could be seen in the distance between two hills, the water silvery from the skies reflection. Kevin must have noticed me look at it, because he directed the motorcycle in its direction.

The ride was a short and pleasant one, Kevin seemingly being true to his word of keeping me safe. We arrived at the lake, the water gleaming under the sunlight that managed to sneak through the clouds. We made our way to the peer, leaving the bike at the top of the hill. We walked down the slope, me managing only with the help of Kevin. It was almost embarrassing how much I had been relying on him in less than 24 hours. However, he did not seem to mind, because even when I was clearly capable of the task, he insisted on helping me.

"Always insisting, aren't we Kevin?" I commented as we walked to the edge of the peer.

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Kevin said, mock pushing my into the water. I had a mini heart attack, and smacked him weakly when he pulled me back, laughing maniacly. We reached the edge and sat down, our legs dangling over the edge, just as they had in the library not too long ago.

"Funny how much has happened" I said to the water, only thinking aloud.

"Yeah tell me about it, I didn't think I'd be here with you, Dork… Princess" he edited. I was startled at his reply but smiled at the term of endearment, or at least I hoped it was.

"Neither did I, but my how things have changed over the years Kevin" I sighed, easing the creases in my I woke up in bed with him. I began to blush.

"Kevin?"

"Hmmm?" he grunted, throwing a stone into the water with the aim of a blind pig. I picked up a rock as well and mentally calculated the physics behind making it go as far as possible. I took aim and watched as it skipped into away, until it disappeared when it was a mere dot.

"What is the name of your motorcycle?" I asked, watching the water ripples fade. I waited a moment before the reply came, "Princess"

I was extracted from my reverie and turned to him, my heart pounding, "Really?"

"Really!"
