Hi everyone I'm back with a brand new chapter and I really hope you all enjoy it. I'm truly sorry about the long update but I couldn't think about what to write for this chapter so bare with me if it isn't perfect. Without further ado I present chapter two!

A little warning this story is most likely going to be OOC!

NeverNeverLeafina

Previously on NeverNeverLeafina: And with that as her final thought, Hayate hollered over his shoulder and told the two stepsisters to hold onto him because NeverNeverLeafina was full speed ahead. One by one, the girls latched onto the blue haired teenager as they all braced themselves for the fast trip to NeverNeverLeafina.

Chapter Two: Enter Captain Takako and the Leafe Lost Brothers

(A little side note the entire chapter title didn't get posted on the tab for this chapter because it was too long but I hope that is alright with everyone here though! So I'm very sorry about that.)

bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

As the group speeded toward the star that was known as the magical world Leafina, a vortex was created surrounding them in a strange array of colors. From gold, to ruby, to even emerald, and sapphire, the girls were fascinated by the vortex they were traveling in. But the further they flew into the portal strange images began flashing across the walls of their teleporting escalator as they witness imagines of Hayate, the dark sinister Captain Takako, and of course his brothers the Lost Boys.

However the vortex not only showed the girls the boys various adventures they had in NeverNeverLeafina, the walls even showed snippets of the past when Himeno's mother and aunt had traveled to Leafina many years ago. When Himeno saw this she wanted to ask Hayate more about what her mother was like in the past. But when she shifted her attention to the young man, her body was roughly jolted as was Mayune and Mawata who were still holding on to him as the scenery changed around them.

At first everything was dark but when they traveled a little more they saw tiny specks of light and then the speck of lights turned into tiny clocks that danced everywhere. Then they were joined by exotic birds that looked like Tyipi but instead of just pink they came in various colors. With each new scene that was displayed in front of them, they couldn't wait to see how NeverNeverLeafina looked once they got there!

Seconds slipped by that felt much longer then they assumed it had been in that vortex when they at last came to the end of it seeing a beautiful sunlight and an incredible world before them. Feeling as if they stepped into a world created by Lewis Carroll, they were at aww at every little thing they saw from the sky above.

From magical birds that helped people fly with the help of magical dust, to mermaids and pirates and even seeing Indian tipies and bonfires smoke in the distant. They couldn't contain their excitement because they wanted to explore Hayate's world this instant.

However Hayate wasn't going to show them everything this moment until they meet the Leafe Lost Boys aka his brothers first. But to get to his brothers, they would have to sneak past Captain Takako's mighty vessel without being spotted.

Deciding to take cover on a large fluffy white cloud, the group laid on it as they waited to see if they could get around the ship without anyone onboard spotting them. Cautiously the young man peered over the cloud to see if the coast was clear. After noticing nobody was prepared to launch a cannon ball in their direction he shifted Himeno off his back as he grabbed her hand, he motioned for Mawata and Mayune to follow his lead.

Slowly the pack went from one cloud to the other and everything seemed to go smoothly because there were many clouds in the sky for perfect coverage. Though each time they transferred to a different cloud, it was getting much harder for them to stay hidden when their only protection from the pirates were clouds that were spread further apart from theirs. And that was not the worse part, the bad news was even if they manage to slip silently by, there was a great possibility that they would be seen because the clouds were much closer to the ground which meant that they were closer to the ship!

Meanwhile as Hayate, Himeno, Mayune, Mawata, and Tyipi were creeping around the boat, Captain Takako was busy on her ship plotting the next attack they would do to Hayate and the Leafe Lost Boys. Of course with every operation, one would have to know where that someone they were out to seek revenge on was hiding.

In the captain's chamber on the vessel of The Great Fenril, a beautiful woman with long brunette hair stood hunched over a blank parchment with a feather pen in her right hand. A hideous scowl was spread across her lovely face as she peered intently at the paper in front of her as many thoughts played inside of her head about how to rid herself of Hayate and his pesky brothers once and for all.

For several years this dark mistress had terrorized Leafina's waters in her desperate attempted to free the world of the plague known as Hayate and the Lost Brothers. Very little people knew what the exact reason was for Takako to loath these boys for so long but there were many speculations.

Like for example the eye patch she refused to remove from her left eye. Many knew that behind that eye was a history of a furious battle between the pirates and Hayate and the Lost Boys. And in that battle an ugly wound was inflicted on the lovely captain causing her face to be scared as well as the loss of sight in her left eye. Ashamed by the horrible accident, she hid her eye from everyone in order for no one to gaze at the imperfection on her visage that at one point in time made her even more pretty than she was now.

Another guess that very little people believed the reason for her hatred toward the brothers were in fact more emotional. However some assumed that her dislike toward them was more with Hayate than anyone else because of her feelings for him were very strong and sadly rejected by him. It would make sense if this reason were true but no one knew for certain why she really hated Hayate and the Lost Boys but one thing was for sure, she would stop at nothing to put an end to them no matter what!

Sitting uncomfortably in her plush chair, Takako sunk down in it as she let out a long sigh. Giving the paper one last glance at its blankness, she quickly turned away from her dilemma as she looked out her window in her cabin. Feeling peeved about not finding a solution to how to abolish Hayate and his brothers for good, the captain's first mate entered the room with a cheery smile on his face.

"Pardon me Captain Takako, but I believe it is tea time and I brought you fresh berries, nuts, spreads, and pippin hot croissants."

"Thank you Tanaka just put it on my desk, I'll have it later." Pulling her body up, the captain groaned as she felt pressure in her back. Sensing something was wrong, Tanaka quickly put the tray he was carrying down and was immediately by her side.

"Captain are you alright, is there anything I could do to help?" Concern appeared on the first mate's visage as Takako felt somehow happy for his fussing over her. A small barely visible smile spread across her countenance as she made a gesture to what was causing her pain.

"Right away Miss Captain Madam!" Showing her as much enthueauism that anybody who would devote their lives to would give them, the short pirate at once went to fetch the massage table stored in her closet.

Out of all the deck hands and sleazy sleaze bag pirates that stuck by Captain Takako's side for many years, Tanaka was the most devoted person to have ever joined her crew. Although she knew that most of them would do anything for her due to her being extremely beautiful, it also benefited her to be very persuasive and devious and to also keep her crew on their toes at all times as well.

However what made this small pirate the best is that even though she had much more intimidating crew members than this pint size jolly soul, no matter how impossible the situation was, no matter how persistent Takako got when it involved chasing the brothers to end of Leafina; the small goofy pirate would be by her side supporting her every command.

After searching through her closet for the massage table, he was able to find it with a confident gleam coming from his balding head that was slightly peeking out from underneath his bandana. As he approached his captain, he sensed how his bandana didn't feel quite right on his scalp as it normally should have felt. Immediately placing the table down temporarily to fix the problem, he didn't want Takako to see his baldness no matter what.

Giving the short pirate a quirked eyebrow, she ignored his silly actions as she stood up from her chair and sauntered in his direction. Once Takako was by his side, she peeled off her navy dress coat with the gold buttons as she gently laid face down on the massage table. With her head resting comfortably on a pillow that resembled a donut, the first mate forgetting his cap mishap wasted no more time sulking about his scalp as he placed his hands on her back as he gently massage her aching body.

A soft moan came from the captain as Tanaka's face lit up. Applying more pressure on her lower back, he was rewarded with another satisfied moan as he continued to please her. But while he was giving her a lovely massage, the first mate decided to strike up a conversation with her.

"Are you enjoying this Captain I hope it is to your liking?" The small pirate asked as he softened his pressure on her lower back as he now focused his attention on the stress on her neck.

"Yes Tanaka it's wonderful…" Takako replied as she almost purred from the relaxing treatment she was receiving from her crew member.

"Uh…Miss Captain I hope this isn't out of line if I may ask…" Hesitation was apparent in his voice as he paused in his massaging in order to hear what Takako would say.

"Ask away Tanaka." Was all the girl had to answer as she flicked her wrist in the air to elaborate that she was giving him her attention.

Apprehension began building up inside the man as he felt perspiration accumulate on his head as well as his palms. Not knowing whether it was a good idea to even ask his question on the count of her terrible rage issue, he decided to go against his instincts that screamed no and ask her anyway.

"I know your obsession with the Lost Boys and Hayate means so much to you, but if it is possible why don't you take a break of thinking up schemes and finding the location of their hideout? How about a nice vacation somewhere other than NeverNeverLeafina?"

"Ta…na…ka." Takako mumbled angrily in her pillow as she gripped her sharp nails into the table. Yanking her body from the table she was lying on, she glared at her subordinate with hateful eyes.

"YOU HAVE SOME NERVE MAKING SUGGESTIONS LIKE THAT, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE CAPTAIN OF THIS SHIP BECAUSE THE LAST TIME I CHECKED I BELIEVE THAT I WAS THE ONE IN CHARGE AND NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO ORDER ME AROUND!"

The smirk that was spread across his countenance vanished as he tried to calm down his commander. Raising his hands slowly in order to defend himself, Tanaka spoke nicely and respectfully to his captain when he chose to speak to her.

"Miss Takako, captain I am truly sorry for speaking out of term with you but I must insist that you should put aside your hatred for the boys for now in order to clear your mind and find a better solution to destroying them once and for all."

"That doesn't sound like a bad idea. Perhaps just this once, I'll take your advice on setting aside my rev-"

"Ahoy Captain, I spot Hayate with some company following him on the starboard side!" The ship's lookout called from the ship's crow's nest from high above the Great Fenril.

Forgetting the agreement she made with her first mate about taking some time off pursuing Hayate and the Lost Boys, she quickly retrieved her coat and went on deck with the rest of her crew.

"Does anyone have any idea who is with Hayate?" She said as Tanaka was graceful enough to hand her a telescope in order to get a better look at what she was dealing with. Though as soon as the brunette zoomed in on her enemy, she was surprised to see two young girls by his side as well as another girl in his arms!

Rage filled her heart as she commanded everyone on board to prepare the cannons. At once whoever wasn't taking care of the cannons were busy loading the weapons in order to take down Hayate and whoever he had with him!

The cannons were fired as everyone shouted with glee at the upcoming battle that they would face against Hayate this minute. The uproar increased when the cannonballs neared closer to their designated target. However by the time the metal balls zoomed in on the small group, Hayate and the girls were able to avoid the attack but only the skin of their teeth.

"Whoa that was rather close!" Hayate said as he jolted Himeno's body around in order to dodge the incoming cannonballs. Feeling extremely peeved about being dragged into yet another senseless battle with Captain Takako, what made him madder than usual was the fact that he had a few guests that weren't quite ready for fighting anybody just yet.

Averting his gaze back and forth between the girls and the pirate ship The Great Fenril, he decided he needed to divert the pirates in order for the girls to get to their hideout safely. Shifting his eyes on the pink bird, he asked Tyipi to lead the girls to their home while he took care of Takako and her crew by himself. But when he prepared to leap down there and fight, he forgot one important thing.

Without even realizing that he was stilling holding onto Himeno's hand, he descend down the cloud they were currently on as he swooped down at the pirates. Pulling out his trusty short sword, he slashed at each and every person that lunged themselves at him as he effortlessly evaded every attack and shot aimed at his body.

After some time at fighting Captain Takako's crew off, he finally noticed that something didn't seem exactly right. Instead of feeling as light as a feather, he felt like he was carrying rhino with him. And it was at that precise second when he made a sharp turn flying around the mast of the ship was when he heard a loud shrill close by and a rather cranky one at that.

"HEY HAYATE YOU'RE GOING TO RIP MY ARM OFF IF YOU CONTINUE TO HANDLE ME IN THIS FASHION!" Himeno shouted as Hayate finally noticed the extra "company" he had with him. Of course he wasn't happy to see her as she was about the rough flight he was giving them.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE, YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO BE FOLLOWING TYIPI BACK TO THE HIDEOUT YOU IDIOT?" Hayate screamed as a dagger flew at his head. Quickly avoiding the flying piece of steel, he turned his attention back to the girl who explained her situation to him.

"In case you've forgotten I can't fly and therefore I have no transportation to get me there. And don't call me idiot you idiot!" Himeno hollered as shots were fired at them.

Although feeling reluctant to do it, Hayate out of the good of his heart put his anger aside as he pulled her body closer to his in order to maneuver between cannon blasts and bullets. The red head frightened of the cannonballs and bullets aimed in their direction shielded her visage in Hayate's armpit as the said boy slashed at the pirates once more.

Cries echoed in the air as loud gasps of air resounded all around them as Hayate fought this fight alone. Hacking and slashing at whatever ran, charged, or even crawled his way, Hayate took out every single one of them unscathed. But as this insane massacre was happening all around them, Himeno removed her face from his body in order to see the horror face to face. And once she did, she truly wished she hadn't seen anything at all.

Without even realizing what her body was doing tears prickled her eyes as she stared at men charging at them with vicious eyes. Seeing nothing but black vibrant irises in place of whatever color eye they normally would have possessed, she thought the pirates were savage beasts instead of men. However what really disturbed more her wasn't the fact that there were people trying desperately to harm or possibly kill Hayate and herself, but it was Hayate who truly scared her.

Never in all her life had she witness such a barbaric, inhuman, and atrocious scene displayed before her. Being brought up in a proper family, she had no experience in handling something like this and to see someone around her age take the lives of others just so he wouldn't be harmed was preposterous to her. It only made matters worse when she shifted her gaze to see what kind of expression his countenance had when he slaughtered men. Alas when she peered at his handsome face, her body trembled upon seeing a hideous smirk spread across his visage as well as how excited his eyes looked at this entire ordeal.

Wanting to speak to him about this matter right then and there, it was sadly interrupted by another.

"Well well well Hayate it's been awhile since we last crossed blades with each other. How about we continue where we last left off?" The captain of the ship said confidently as she held up her sword at Hayate. Batting her long eyelashes at the young man, her flirtatious manner quickly dissolved when she noticed a young female latching onto to his body.

"Oh my Hayate who is this little wretch, is she another tramp you brought from the other world like all the other girls?" Raising her hand to her face, she chuckled at the boy for his foolish attractions he would bring to their world every so often. But while the brunette found his "selections" amusing, Hayate and even Himeno for both appalled by her words and were determine to shut her up.

"HEY LADY WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE CALLING PEOPLE NAMES WHEN YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM?" Himeno hollered at Takako as she shoved Hayate aside in order to stand her ground. And without warning she held up her fist and with all her strength slammed it on the deck floor.

An abrupt impact took place as everyone on board shook from that one punch as nearly everyone stumbled or fell to the floor as the floorboards made an odd ripple affect causing them to shift out of their original structure. But once the effect wore off, no one dared to move for fear of the red headed teenager to lose her temper again.

Both the captain and even Hayate were astonished by her vulgar behavior that they didn't quite know how to handle the situation. While Hayate was at aww at her being capable of doing such an impossible thing such as that at the same time he was frightened and made a mental note to himself to "not piss Himeno off!"

The captain or rather Takako on the other hand found her skill a bit intimidating, however she was also intrigued by the girl's brute strength. Cupping her hand under her chin, she began thinking of various ways she could try to manipulate the teenager to side on her forces in order to finally get rid of Hayate and his pesky brothers completely.

"Hey girl how about you ditch that boy and instead join me and my crew?" Takako asked Himeno however it didn't seem like she was asking but rather demanding the redhead to change her mind to be on her side instead of Hayate's. But being the stubborn child Himeno was born as, she refused the captain's offer.

"I'm sorry but I can't accept your offer captain in fact I'm not on anyone's side."

"WHAT?" Both Takako and Hayate shouted in unison as they stared at the teenager with wide surprised eyes. Not expecting the girl to not only turn one of them down but both that never happen to either of them in their entire life.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE NOT ON MY SIDE EITHER? NEED I REMIND YOU THAT I WAS THE ONE WHO SAVED YOU FROM BULLETS AND CANNON SHOTS? I COULD'VE LEFT YOU TO FEND FOR YOURSELF!" Hayate hollered at the tulip head as Himeno angrily glared at him. Transforming her fist into a pointing instrument, she waved it in the boy's direction as she too shouted at him.

"FIRST OF ALL WHO'S FAULT IS IT THAT I'M EVEN INVOLVED IN THIS SITUATION? AND SECOND WHY SHOULD I SIDE WITH YOU HUH? WHAT'S SO GREAT BEING WITH SOMEONE WHO IS THRILLED AT THE IDEA OF SLAUGHTERING HUMAN BEINGS! THAT'S NOT WONDERFUL, IN FACT IT'S JUST PLAIN TERRIBLE!"

Deliberately choosing to ignore her first comment considering it was his fault she was even here right now; Hayate was more intrigued by her strong morals involving life and death. Ever since he and his brothers first arrived on NeverNeverLeafina they tried various methods besides killing. However the more time progressed in Leafina the more the boys realized that killing in order to survive seem like their number one way to live.

However thanks to the tulip head, Hayate couldn't help but pause to contemplate about how Himeno would feel about him slashing pirates in front of her. Guilt began to linger at the pit of his stomach at not considering her feelings in the first place, however at the same time as this feeling digested itself into his system another feeling began filtering in his head as well. And that emotion happened to be annoyance.

"That's the reason you don't want to join us? Well I hate to break it to you toots but if you live here in Leafina its survival of the fittest." Pausing in the middle of his speech, he gently touched Himeno's shoulder as he slightly tilted her head with his other hand. When he was able to adjust the girl in the way he wanted, he let go of her and let her eyes gaze at the many pirates that were lodged on the ship. Menacing glares were thrown at the duo as some were even sharpening their blades and not at all losing eye contact with Himeno and Hayate.

Saliva accumulated in Himeno's mouth as she stared at the pirates petrified and not being able to move. It was apparent she was frightened thanks to Hayate spoiling her anger and leaving her feeling scared and vulnerable. Thinking that coming to Leafina was a terrible idea, she was beginning to have second thoughts about this world being "fun." Alas she didn't have enough time to muse it over because someone who was quiet for so long spoke up at last.

"Enough of this useless arguing you love birds, if you're not going to consider my offer then consider yourself dead!" And without warning, Takako launched her body toward an unarmed Himeno.

Panic flashed across Hayate's visage as the boy pulled out his short sword in order to protect her. Shielding his body in front of the red head, he was prepared to defend Himeno with his life if it came down to it. But when the crazed captain approached the couple, her body seemed to disappear before them. Hayate and Himeno searched for any sign of her presence as the two pressed their back against each other.

Not wanting to be caught off guard, their eyes roamed the ship as the two cautiously circled the deck without their backs separating. But as close as their bodies were with each other, Hayate and Himeno weren't safe from Takako!

As fast as Takako was when she disappeared, she immediately reappeared with a deadly slash aimed at their torsos. The two shoved the other one aside in order to avoid the attack as the crazed captain again made another attempt at slashing at Hayate and Himeno.

This time the two didn't hesitate moving quickly out of the way to dodge several assaults caused by the dreaded captain. In fact the duo were extremely well at halting every attack from inflecting their bodies causing them serious injury or possible death. Though while they were busy avoiding every attack Hayate without warning grabbed Himeno and placed her on his back.

"What are you doing Hayate you can't fight with me on your back?" Himeno shouted as she quickly had to duck her head as another slash was thrown their way. Deciding to take flight, he zoomed through the air as he made a sharp turn around the masts of the ship before taking a stab at the captain.

"Look there is not that many options we have right now. We either have you on my back while I fight or we admit defeat and retreat risking the chance of Takako finding our hideout." Hayate said as he clashed swords with the hellish captain.

An intense stare off was initiated between Hayate and Takako as they pressed swords against each other trying to get better leverage over the other. At first it seemed like a titter totter struggle as the boy would have the upper hand but then the tables would turn and the girl would have the swords pressed against his chest. Then the procedure began once more as the battle between the two "swordmen" continued onward.

It seemed inevitable for the fight to end any time soon but for the young lady sitting uncomfortably on the teenager's back was hoping the battle would end right now. While the swordfight was going on, Himeno tried to find something she could use in order to stop the two of them before anything drastic would occur. Scrunching her eyebrows together, her eyes searched for an instrument to use against the duo in order to stun their foes and escape. But what could she use and how would she be able to reach the said item once she found it.

"I guess this is going to be a lot harder than I first thought." Himeno thought to herself as her eyes spotted something shimmering in the sunlight. At first she couldn't tell what it was because of the sun shining on the object however once her irises adjusted to the light, her mouth turned upward. "Perfect!" The girl shouted inside her head as she tried to stretch her arm out in order to retrieve the item.

Sadly when she extended her arm toward the object she realized she was only a couple millimeters short from getting it. A sigh escaped her mouth as she twisted body around to inspect how the fight was fairing. A grimace appeared on her countenance as she saw that Hayate was now on the struggling end of the sword fight. Believing it was time to act fast now, she whispered her plan to the tiring boy.

"Hayate I have a plan to get out of here but I need you to release me in order to make it work." A scowl appeared on the blue haired boy's face as he slightly tipped his head in her direction.

"Are you insane? If I drop you off my back right now her sword will pierce through my chest. Are you trying to get me killed?" Hayate whispered back at her but unlike the redhead, his whispering was louder than hers.

Hearing her groan underneath her breath, he saw how her red eyes rolled as she replied, "Just trust me on this. My plan will work." Giving him a stern look, Himeno hoped that he would believe her and allow her to do what she wanted to do. Fortunately for the teenage girl, Hayate decided to put his faith in her. Lowering his sword and his opponent's toward the deck of the ship, the boy whispered something that sounded like, "I hope you know what you're doing."

And it was right then and there when he took his right foot and stomped on the two swords as Hayate was successful at causing Takako to lose her footing and stumble. Being the perfect opportunity to remove Himeno from his back, he shrugged her body off of his as the girl quickly retrieved the object she desired. But when the blue haired boy happen to take a gander at the item she picked up, he blew up.

"That's your brilliant plan to use a sword to get us out of here? How is that suppose to help us retreat?" Raising his hands above his head he soon quirked his eyebrows when he saw how her lips curled upward in a confident sort of manner. Curious about how she going to get them to escape, Hayate decided to watch her every move.

Gripping the sword in both hands, Himeno closed her eyes as she pulled the blade back. One of her hands let go of the sword as she at once opened her eyes as she hurled the blade with all her might through the air. All eyes watched as the sharp object flew through the air as it zoomed at full speed toward Captain Takako.

Gasps were heard as they thought the blade was going to pierce the dear old captain, however something else occurred instead. Rather than the sword stabbing the crew's commander, it actually missed her body by inches as it instead embedded itself in the wood of one of the masts. However aside from wood it cut through, the blade also cut some rope that was actually tying down something very important for the ship.

And just like that one of the sails that were tied securely to one of the masts cascaded down to the ship like a falling flag as it landed on top of the poor defenseless captain. Immediately all hands on deck rushed to their commander's side as they grabbed their knives and started hacking away at the sail in order to free the enraged woman wrapped inside of it.

"That's how we do it Hayate. Well I'm pretty sure you now don't think I'm an idiot huh?" Himeno abruptly said to her partner as she crossed her arms over her chest. But rather than hear Hayate praise her for a job well done, all she heard was a roar of laughter. Puzzled by his amusement, she shifted her gaze to the hysterical adolescent.

When she saw how much he was enjoying himself, a blush spread across her visage as she averted her eyes away. Whether she was embarrassed at being laughed at or how cute she thought he looked when he laughed, neither answer was for certain but thing was sure…they had to get off the ship and fast.

Extending her limb to the chuckling youth, the boy calmed down his chuckling as he grabbed Himeno's hand and lifted their bodies off the deck. Shouts could be heard from behind them as the couple flew off into the distance. However as they were getting away from the pirates Hayate was still chuckling about Himeno's escape plan.

While he got a kick out it, the girl on the other hand didn't.

"Alright I get it, my plan was extremely cheesy and that's why you're laughing at me and you still think I'm a complete idiot because of this don't you." Feeling upset about being laughed at, Himeno thought the handsome boy believed she was stupid for her actions, however when he finally manage to catch some air he didn't exactly think that way about her at all.

"An idiot perhaps insane very much so, you're a riot tulip head. I've never had that much fun in a long time!" Hayate commented as they swooped down through the NeverNeverLeafina forest. Hoards of trees darted past their flying bodies as they headed in the direction of the Lost Boy's hideout. But while they evaded trees, bushes, and low hanging branches what awaited Hayate and Himeno at the hideout was something neither of them expected to occur.

But in the meantime, Himeno was very thrilled with Hayate at the moment.

"Tulip head?..." Himeno thought to herself. A vein popped on her head as she shifted her gaze at the smiling juvenile.

The tagalong adolescent teenage girl fumed at the nickname Hayate gave her. Wanting to wrench the boy's arm off for not using her actual name, Himeno was about ready to bring the both of them down if he didn't use it soon when out of nowhere she heard her name being called.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

While Hayate stayed behind to fight off the pirates in order for the girls to escape, Tyipi the pink bird was their guide to their home. However as soon as they departed the both of them wondered why would Hayate put their stepsister Himeno in danger instead of insisting that they take her with them considering her flightless dilemma.

"This isn't fair Mawata! Why does Himeno get to stay with that hottie Hayate and ward off the pirates while me and you have to miss all the action and follow this silly bird to their hideout?" Mayune screamed in outrage causing her body to jerk downward as unhappy thoughts filled her head. Quickly she thought of something that made her happy once more as she was once again lifted back up to where Tyipi and her sister were.

Mawata rolled her eyes at her sister's foolish jealousy as she replied, "I'm sorry Mayune but given the circumstance, we do not know anything about this world and therefore it would be wise to tread through this world cautiously and do what were told." A stray patch of hair blinded her field of vision momentarily as Mawata paused in order to swat the hair away from her eyes before she continued.

"And besides we both know that Himeno isn't exactly the delicate flower she appears to be, so we are both assured that she can handle it." Giving her older sister a wink, the other caught her drift and winked back.

Meanwhile, as the two sisters conversed behind the pink bird, its angry chirps fell on death ears. Feeling sour after that rude remark that Mayune made, the bird began cooking up an evil scheme inside its cranium as the bird decided to play a nasty trick on the both of them. Although Tyipi normally preferred Hayate to not invite any "female guests" to NeverNeverLeafina due to past experiences, the bird was really mad when he was not only ordered by the teenage boy to escort the two girls safely to their home; it was also horrible when the bird was also insulted and did not receive an apology afterwards.

A vicious glare appeared on the bird's face as it flexed its wings and rotated their body in order to increase its speed and lose sight of Mayune and Mawata. And just like that it worked.

"HEY TYIPI CAN YOU PLEASE SLOW DOWN, WE CAN'T KEEP UP!" Both Mawata and Mayune shouted once they realized their little feathered guide wasn't being courteous and allowing them to catch up with them. Trying to catch up with the little pink bird, they tried desperately to speed up with the creature.

But alas thanks to Tyipi making it extremely difficult to pursue, the bird flew through shrubs, prickly bushes, and through various branchy trees slowing the girls down even more. An almost gleeful chirp came from its mouth as it reached the hideout as the little creature put its plan into action.

In the underground tree house resided the Lost Leafe Brothers. And in this place the seven brothers had nestled and molded this dark and gloomy hideaway into a warm loving family home. Although it didn't appear house like exactly it was still amazing how their abode was set up.

Instead of the standard beds that were accommodated with a mattress and a box spring, their beds were literally sculpted and crafted with the very roots of the tree above them as the mattress and sheets they were currently sleeping on were actually furs from their previous animal kills in the past. But aside from their beds the entire house was built with the tree in order to not harm it in any shape or way. And that included their living room, kitchen, their outhouse, and even the escape routes they constructed themselves were all made by them.

But enough about the home for now currently in the present time Tyipi rushed into the house chirping and squawking for the brothers to arise. Sadly none of the boys didn't bother to awake nor twitch a single muscle at the pink bird's request. It wasn't until the creature began spat out a string of lies as they flew over to the second oldest sibling. Tyipi hovered over the adolescent's ear and explained that there was an urgent duty that they must fulfill.

Instantly the youth bolted out of bed and listen closely to what Tyipi had to say. As the false message was being relayed another juvenile arose from their slumber as curiosity took control of their senses.

"So Sasame…" A yawn pushed itself out of the boy's mouth as he stretched out his body as he spoke once more. "What news does Tyipi bring us?"

The boy now known as Sasame stood up from his bed as he went to retrieve his weapon. "We have orders from Hayate to kill two hideous beasts approaching our home in order to protect what is ours!" The silver haired youth replied as he looked toward the remaining brothers still fast asleep. Pointing with his index finger, he commanded his brother Kei to wake them all up as he dashed to a basket with a pulley system.

As he reached for the rope in order to hoist his body up, Kei stopped him before he could go any further.

"But Sasame wouldn't it be more wise if we all go together instead of splitting up?" The blond asked as he flipped a few strands of hair away from his yellow eyes. However to his dismay, the silver haired adolscent was insistent and stubborn with what he was doing and refused to change his mind.

Feeling a little reluctant to follow his orders, Kei begrudgingly buckled down and accepted Sasame's command as he left his sibling's side in order to wake the boys up.

Back with the girls it was a hellish struggle to chase after the little bird especially when it gave them a hard time flying through shrubs, prickly bushes, and really branchy trees. Screams and screeches were heard from miles around as the girls tugged and pulled their bodies through the rough terrain.

"OUCH!" Mayune shouted for the billionth time as she once again had to pull her gorgeous long blond locks out of another prickly bush that the bird had lead them through.

Wrenching and tugging at her hair in order to free herself from the bush, she was successful after twenty seconds of struggling. However to her horror it was at a cost. Thanks to the plant there was a nice chunk of blond hair missing from her head as well as a couple more sharp branches still tangled in her hair.

"Mawata if I ever see that bird again I swear I'll put it on a barbeque spit and cook it for dinner. Look at what it's done to my hair!" The older sister whined as she looked at the twigs attached to her hair in melancholy.

"Mayune enough fussing over your hair right now, we can fix that later. Our main focus is finding and tracking that bird." As much as her sibling was suffering from this ordeal, Mawata thought it was foolish to fret over her appearance when what matter right now was finding Tyipi. Of course the brunette was just as worse for wear as Mayune was, she refuse to think about that problem now.

Beckoning her sister to follow her, the two continued their aimless journey through hordes of trees, shrubs, and pointy bushes that the bird had lead them through in hopes of catching up to Tyipi at last. But the more they pursue the bird the more branches, leaves, vines, and multitude of the forest's bountiful attire shrouded their bodies making it rather difficult for the sisters to see let alone be identified by anyone.

Alas this is why when the six Lost Leafe Brothers were awake and alert; they instantly surmised that the two sisters were in fact monsters and nothing more. With spears, daggers, swords, staffs, whips, and bows and arrows the boys positioned themselves stealthily in the shadows poised and ready to attack the beasts whenever they got closer to their location.

Sasame who was in charge of the mission, was in front of the calvery with a bow and arrow ready to strike the creatures' first chance he got. With one eye closed and the other eye focused prepared to catch a glimpse of the monsters any moment now. And just like that as he was peering at the forest he spotted two moving beings heading their way.

Gripping his bow tighter in his hands, he felt sweat collect on his palms as the monsters were slowly getting closer to their home. Green was the first thing he noticed about the creatures as more of it came into view. The next thing that caught his attention was their long pointy limbs protruding out its body and finally he observed how the beasts moved. And that's when Sasame thought something wasn't quite right.

"Are you positive these are the creatures that Hayate wants us to kill?" Arching a silver eyebrow, his violet eyes averted their gaze to the pink bird. Of course his suspicioun only increased when Tyipi began to act rather precurily.

Giving the silver haired youth a few chirps of reassurance, Tyipi fluttered above the boy spastically as the bird pointed desperately in the direction of the monsters. The other boys who were also staking out for the two beasts soon turned their attention to the commotion as they mouth, "What was going?" to Sasame. A simple shrug was all the teenager could say as a reply.

However their little conversation soon came to an abrupt end when at last the two creatures were only a few meters away. Without hesitation, Sasame unleashed his arrow at one of them as the monster hollered in pain. A warcry was heard as everyone came out of hiding in order to kill the beasts. With weapons raised and ready to strike, all of a sudden the creatures they were about to kill shouted someone's name.

"HIMENO!"

Immediately afterwards like a bolt of lightening, they heard their brother's war cry. Pausing in the midst of their battle they responded to the shrill by making one of there own letting Hayate know their location. Moments later Hayate flew through the forest's canopy as he and Himeno wrapped in his arms arrived.

Without so much as a greeting to the other brothers, Himeno wasted no time approaching the monsters they were fighting only seconds ago. Alarmed by her boldness the boys tried to stop her before something dreadful would happen to her. However when she was but a few inches from the beasts, one of the brothers quickly dashed to Himeno's rescue by snatching her up.

"Are you insane miss those things are monsters that could kill you in one foul swoop." A teenager with spiky hair scolded Himeno as she stopped to gaze at his peculiar hairdo.

Although where she lived it wasn't strange to see someone with spiky hair but what made it bizarre was the fact that not only was it black there were also red streaks inside his hair as well. After staring for a little bit longer than necessary, Himeno's trance was broken when she caught another glimpse of the so called creatures they were fighting with.

Taking one certain step forward, she once again walked toward the two beasts as the boys stared in horror at what might happen next. While some of them covered theirs ears in order to not the girl's screams, others closed their eyes in order to not see anything scary in front of them, and some even had their mouths covered afraid to bare witness the poor girl being mauled right then and there. But the next moment the Leafe Brother's were shocked to see what Himeno said next.

"Mayune…Mawata is that you?" Himeno pondered as she reached for a tree branch wrapped around a few vines. A muffled answer was soon heard as she gently pulled the annoying branch away from her stepsister's body. After tugging and pulling at the tree branch, it finally gave away exposing pink fluffy pajamas that Mayune had worn to the boy's world.

"Brothers they are not beasts! Come on let's help the girl out." Kei hollered as he and the rest of the brothers all came together and helped Himeno untangle Mawata and Mayune from the debris they had all around their bodies.

It was a long and tedious task to release the two young ladies from the forest's attire however unfortunately for Mawata removing some of the leaves and vines from one part of her body was a much more difficult task than they had originally thought it was going to be. Unlike Mayune who was covered in various debris, Mawata had a little extra protruding out of her left limb. Upon seeing this object, Himeno immediately questioned what happened.

"Mawata can you please to tell me why there is an arrow in your arm?"

Without anyone having the need to utter a single word, the six brothers' nonchantly took a hasty step backwards. Of course their action did not go unnoticed because Hayate happen to spot their nervous movements as an idea popped inside his head.

"Would you care to share some information with us that you're obviously holding back?" Crossing his arms over his chest, he glared at his siblings expecting some kind of answer to spout out of one of them. And just like clockwork someone cracked under the pressure.

"We're sorry big brother but we're the reason why the nice lady is injured."

"Shut up dummy, man why do you have to be such a blabbermouth Shin!" A boy with bluish-silver hair bellowed as he took the young blond underneath his arm giving his head a nice nuggie. Another child piped up soon after Shin had but unlike the tattle teller, the boy with the orange hair chimed with his older brother Mannen.

"Yeah Shin you need to learn when to shut up." Hajime hollered as the rest of the boys stared at the three boys arguing.

"ENOUGH!" Someone shouted to silence the little group as each and every person turned their attention to the one that stopped the commotion only to be surprise by who it was that spoke up.

"Sasame?" Hayate replied flabbergasted by his outburst. Now all the siblings knew that the silver haired boy was not the type of person to ever raise his voice for anything including spouts of arguments amongst his family. Instead Sasame was the gentlest of the brothers the most kindest, most sincere, and had the most impeccable mannerisms. Not to mention he as well as Hayate were quite popular with the ladies.

"I'm the one at fault here, I shot the young lady with my arrow and I deeply and truly am sorry." Shifting his gaze to the pain stricken face of the brunette, the last thing he said was meant for Mawata and Mawata only. Giving her a sorrowful expression he said, "And I really hope she will humbly accept my apology."

Forgetting the pain momentarily, the young lass's visage tinged red at the sincere apology as she looked away shyly. Not being able to handle seeing the boy's sad handsome face or his gorgeous violet irises, never had she seen such a beautiful boy like him in all her life. However once she shifted her arm ever so slightly, the pain brought her back to reality as she hissed from it.

Worried boys and girls surrounded the injured teenager as everyone inspected her arm in order to see what they could possibly do. But while they were all fussing over Mawata, Hayate brought up the subject of how this was all caused once again.

"So can someone please explain to me how this had all happened?" Feeling as if he could tear his very hair off of his head, Hayate looked at each and everyone present hoping someone would tell him what exactly transpired.

"Well I'm not entirely sure why they attacked us but your little pet over there nearly killed us by leading my sister and me through prickle bushes, branchy trees, and shrubs before we finally arrived here!" Mayune screamed as she pulled the last of the debris off of her body as she pointed her index finger at the little pink bird.

"Is that true Tyipi did you really do that to them after I gave you orders to bring them safely to our home?" Hayate asked as he arched a blue eyebrow at the little creature. However while he was questioning the little bird to talk some of the other boys were appalled by Mayune's words.

"Miss you shouldn't say such terrible things about our friend Tyipi he is actually a good bird half the time." The usually mimicking Hajime said for once without repeating what anybody else would have said if they had spoke instead. This time Mannen and Shin backed the orange haired child up with nods and shakes of agreement.

Without showing any sign of regard to what she had said about Tyipi earlier, Mayune ignored the boys' complaints as she once again insulted the pink bird. "Wait that thing is a boy?" Mayune questioned as she looked over at the Lost Leafe Boy's who all just merely nodded as their response.

But then out of nowhere someone else spoke.

"Hayate that's not the only thing that Tyipi has done, he also gave us orders from you to kill two monsters heading toward our home." Go remarked as Hayate's eyebrows twitched.

"I see…" The eldest brother replied, his voice drafting behind him as he began to think.

Out of all the devious tricks that little pink bird has done in the past, never had any of them had been so cunning, so crude, and also downright vicious since they had known him. As angry as Hayate was with his bird companion, he hadn't the faintest idea what to do to him as punishment for what Tyipi has done. Deciding to take a little time on pondering what should be done, the teenager's body lifted in the air as he crossed his feet Indian style.

Lifting his right hand, he placed his thumb and index finger on his chin as he mused. His blue eyes were glazed over apparent that he was not gazing at anything in particular as everyone stood silently still feeling a little apprehension about his final decision. Dreading the worst was to befall the tiny bird, no one was expecting what occurred next once Hayate's feet touched the forests ground.

"Tyipi although we have been companions for many years I'm afraid your actions were a bit too extreme so as punishment you will be band from our hideout until I see that your actions are justified ." Immediately shouts of protests were made as everybody including Himeno and Mawata and excluding Mayune were not at all thrilled by his punishment. It was especially upsetting news for Tyipi himself!

A few soft chirps emitted from Tyipi as it appeared as if he was trying to defend his actions however no matter what he said to Hayate the blue haired boy wouldn't hear any of it. And so with a downcast head the tiny pink bird flew away from their home. A sort of sorrowful chirp could be heard in the distance before its voice was cut off thanks to the surrounding forest area muting him out for no one else to hear its cries of anguish.
