I jumped up, flipping back and flipping three more times before doing one of my famous power stomps. I hollered, a humongous smile on my face as I landed. Nothing could ruin this day.

Last night, Sasuke asked me to be his boyfriend. Now I'm not one to be excited over silly relationships, especially with the teme, but I'm really glad he asked me. These past weeks I feel like he's been opening up to me, slowly but surely, and now I know when he's pretending to be an asshole and when he actually is one. I know we're destined to be together, so why not make the most of it for as long as we can?

"You're in a good mood today, Naruto." I turned to look into the almost empty audience, spotting pink hair and softening my smile instantly.

"Well what can I say?" I scratched the back of my head. "I love what I do." She pushed herself onto the stage, standing straight and dusting off her clothes before surprising me with a hug. I responded a little slowly, a reminder of before tugging at the back of my mind.

She let go quickly, almost as if she felt my hesitation. "I heard you were out of work due to an injury for a while. How are you? Have you recovered fully?" I nodded, explaining that I only torn a muscle in my side. She smiled. "Well alright. Hey, did you know that-"

There was a loud slam backstage followed by a yell, a blonde haired girl stomping away from the area. "Eh? Ino?" The said girl stopped in her tracks to look at Sakura, both of them smiling and screaming as they ran to each other. I rolled my eyes at their rambling and screeching and reunion.

Ah, wait!

"Hey Ino!" They both stopped to look at me, the blonde frowning.

"Oh, it's you." My brows furrowed out of confusion?

"Ah?" She rolled her eyes.

"If you're looking for your boyfriend, he's in his office." Sakura's eyes widened, a question apparent in her features. Ino snickered. "Go on! Sasuke's waiting for you!" She said in an over-dramatic voice.

I looked away from the pinkette's gaze, jogging off stage and to the raven's office.

I didn't even wait to knock before opening it and shutting it behind me. It took a second for me to realize that Ino and now Sakura know that Sasuke's my boyfriend, and when I did, I opened my eyes to find dark orbs staring right at me. "Ah! Sasuke!"

"What are you doing, dobe?" I didn't answer his question, instead asking my own.

"Why does Ino know about us?"

"Because I told her." He said it so nonchalantly. I groaned, mentally crying as I thought of the hate that would soon spread around due to rumors the two girls could spread. "Is that a problem?" I looked at the raven, my eyes wide.

"Ah...no?" He stared at me a little before turning back to his computer.

"Hn." I sighed softly before taking a minute to re-gather my thoughts and head back out to the stage. Before I could make it out completely, he returned his attention to me. "I thought that this is what you wanted." I had my hand on the doorknob as I waited for more. "To be a couple, right?" I shut the door slowly.

"Yeah, this is what I wanted, but-"

"Then I don't understand why you seem so hesitant or defensive when I want to spread the word about us. I mean, if you like someone and are in a relationship with them, you shouldn't be afraid to flaunt it around, right?" I could practically feel the smirk on his face digging into my back, begging for me to turn around and submit to his 'wisdom'.

I scoffed. "Ya know, I thought that you would've asked me about because maybe you might have felt similar to me. That's sort of how normal relationships go."

"No one ever said that I didn't feel the same way." I felt my heart beat a little harder than normal, my mark pulsing and bothering me slightly. He sighed softly. "I apologize for telling someone that we're together, and I won't mention it to anyone else unless you tell me that it's alright. Don't get so stressed about something minor like this; you have a job to do anyhow." I grinned slightly, happiness and reassurance flowing within me.

"Yes Mr. Uchiha."

I stepped out of his office, multiples flashes blinding me for a few seconds. "What the-"

"Naruto, is it true that you're in a relationship with your boss, Sasuke Uchiha?"

"W-What?!" I tried to open my eyes, my hand attempting to shield my blue orbs from damage.

"So you're denying any relation to the Uchiha other than work?"

"I'm not saying anything! Who are you? And stop with the damn cameras!" My hand went out, successfully swatting away one of the annoying pieces of junk. "Security!" I opened my eyes, blinking them rapidly in order to get them to adjust before looking at the proposed cameraman. It was a short male, his skin almost bleached white and his hair as black as Sasuke's with the eyes to match. He was very thin, and no real signs of muscle were shown. He had no expression on his face, my eyes darting to his broken camera.

Kakashi came from an origin unknown, sighing before grabbing said man's shoulder and escorting him out. Once he was no longer in sight I huffed, dusting off my sweats before returning to the stage.

That was strange.

The rest of the day went pretty uneventful, my body slowly adjusting to the new shoes Sasuke had given me and actually giving me a bit more inspiration for a new concert. I was called into Asuma's office and was presented with a few options as far as collaborations go. I was greeted with coal eyes staring right at me as I exited.

"Let's go." I blinked a few times before smiling gently and nodding.

The Uprising Star Naruto Uzumaki Dating His Boss- Sasuke Uchiha? HOT!

I grimaced at the title of K! magazine and flipped to the page the article was written. Annoyed, I began to read.

'The newest and hottest dancer of the greater Konoha area, Naruto Uzumaki, is not doubt a ten on everyone's scale of H-O-T.' They had a picture of me during my latest show next to this. 'But with guys this attractive, there has got to be a lucky lady- or in this case, a lucky guy. Naruto was seen multiple times hanging out with the almost invisible Sasuke Uchiha, who is one of the main CEOs of UDA, the company that Naruto is contracted with. The have been seen riding in the same car on multiple occasions, walking out of a condo together, and were spotted in a few restaurants in the area.' There was a picture of Sasuke and I sitting in some restaurant together. 'Not only does this sound spicy, but when Naruto was asked today about his romantic endeavors, he refused to give any type of answer and did not deny the possibility of any type of smoke between the two of them- things certainly seem to be heating up. Coincidentally, neither of them have any parents- Sasuke only has a brother, while Naruto not even that- could this all just be a pity-type of situation, or do the two actually have something more going on? Sure seems like it!'

I sat back in my chair, closing that window and groaning.

So much for keeping a secret.

I sighed out of boredom after a few second a of sitting, as Sasuke had gone out to buy some groceries, and spotted a Manila folder on the corner of my desk. I picked it up, opening it to read it's contents.

'Kushina Uzumaki'.

A picture of a long red-head was clipped to the page, her skin not pale but not tan, her eyes shut from the width of her smile. She had a spatula in one of the hands she held up high, as if she had just one a race, and a frog apron tied around her small physique. I felt my shoulder throb and my heart pump a little more forcefully. I continued to read, all her basic credentials listed such as birth and the obvious hair color.

'Daughter of Princess Karai and Granddaughter of Queen Mito of the Uzumaki Clan in Uzushiogakure. Kidnapped at age eleven, twelve, and fourteen. Reasoning unknown. Resolved with another clan's rescue. Attended grade and academy school with Minato Namikaze. Graduation was achieved with honors and specialty, same results as Minato. Kidnapped once again at age nineteen, fresh out of graduation. Minato rescued- 'Red Thread of Fate' begins. Drops off radar until she marries Minato at age twenty. Births Naruto Uzumaki at age twenty-three. Takes care of him until he is three before she and Minato are kidnapped and not found again.

Death: Twenty-six years of age, May 5.

Body found: Twenty-eight years of age, September 9.'

I set the folder back down and tried to breathe deeply.

Mother...she's my...mother...

I looked at the picture again, gazing at my reflection off of the computer and trying to find any similarities.

Looks like there are none to be found. Could she really be it?

I gave myself a few moments before going to the next file and staring at it with shock. A picture of a man with brilliant blue eyes, striking blonde hair a little longer than mine, tan skin and a gentle smile seemed to stare right at me.

'Minato Namikaze

Father and mother unknown. No known siblings. Origins in Japan, exact location unknown.'

So far it seems as if this guy is just a flat out mystery. What is up with that?

'Attended grade and academy school with Kushina Uzumaki. Graduated with honors and specialty in weaponry and advanced stealth combat. Was selected for Agents of Japan at age seventeen before graduation. Declined. Selected for Central of Intelligence Agency in America at age eighteen right after graduation. Accepted. Was leaving for America with Kushina when she was kidnapped. Used his work to save her. Forgave his spot in CIA and stayed in Japan until the birth of his son, Naruto Uzumaki. Married Kushina three years before the birthing. Starts his own business in partnership with Uchiha Corp. Moves to America with his family a year later, age twenty-five, to further progress his company. Becomes a millionaire and is rated one if the world's best negotiators. Adds a special addition to the Namikaze Org., still unknown and addressed to public. Rumors share that it's a special ops group. Drops off radar for several months until Naruto is age three, when Minato and Kushina are kidnapped and killed.

Death: Twenty-seven years, July 8.

Body found: Twenty-seven years, October 10.'

I sat still, my heart pounding against my rib cage and sucking the air out of my lungs.

He's my...father? He looks exactly like me! But he's so shady...how come no one ever told me about them before? And why did this guy have all this information on them? What's going on?

"I didn't give you those files so you could have a heart attack." Sasuke's voice echoed in our room, surprising me and causing me to jump. He grinned at my shock, a sigh sprouting from my lips as I muttered some type of insult to him.

"I didn't hear you come home,"

"It's because you were too busy getting caught up in your parents' thoughts." He said wearily. I didn't realize how exerting shopping was for him.

He walked over to the dresser and checked his watch, stripping himself of his shirt and tie, then followed suit with his pants and belt. I checked the time on my computer screen, not realizing that it was already five.

I looked back at him, ready to say something when I noticed that he was just in his boxers. They were simple boxer briefs, just a navy color with a black waistband. I couldn't help but notice that they were some fancy brand, a snicker almost pulling through my lips. I looked him up and down, noticing how white he really was. I also noticed his small frame, his broad and strong shoulders- the shoulders of pride- and his flat stomach. It wasn't abs like mine, even though I don't have a full-on six pack, but smooth yet strong.

"Enjoying the view?" His words nudged me to look away, but when I saw a gray shirt cover my area of view I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up at him.

"Huh?"

He muttered something probably around the lines of 'idiot' under his breath and I chuckled softly. I stood and took my own shirt off, jumping quite literally into my bed and laughing at the raven's annoyance.

"Sweet dreams tight-ass,"

"You did it again! You stupid mutt-lover!" I exhaled loudly, my annoyance seeping through my usually calm demeanor.

"Oooh, I'm scared; the little kitty is gonna come after me! Everyone run!" The brunette bit back. Obviously I had successfully irritated him.

We stared intensley at each other, Neji sprinting into my peripheral vision. He was standing at the side of the stage, looking as if he were ready to take on action at any minute. The two of us eventually gave up, both of us laughing manically and slapping our knees.

We hugged each other and I hooked my arm around him as I turned to Neji. "You look like you've seen a ghost,"

He studdered, clearing his throat before speaking. "It would appear as if you two already know each other."

I chuckled. "What, me and this dog? Yeah, I'd say I know Kiba already." I began to recall jokes with him, laughing once more.

"I don't mean to interrupt but Mr. Sarutobi and Mr. Uchiha are waiting for you in the conference room. After that you can leave, and uh, Kiba, can leave as soon as Naruto goes to chat." We both nodded, and I turned to face him.

"Hey, it was nice seeing you. It kinda sucks how you're so far away now though, I can't pull myself away from this job too often or for too long."

He laughed. "Yeah, it was. I like it Minasu, it's a nice and not-too-loud type of village. That doesn't stop me from hearing about your big ass though."

"What do you mean?"

"Well you're everywhere Naruto; tevelsion, stores, newspapers. I mean you're not in the news and you don't have your own personal dolls yet but you're well known." I blinked and licked my lips, not believing him.

"Seriously?" I exhaled.

He nodded. "I've heard about your collaborations with Sakura and Gaara, and about your new...boy-thing."

I sighed, seeing Neji tap his watch angrily. "I was alright with Sakura, I promise. I'm fine now so that means I was fine then. As for the 'boy-thing', he's just..."

I could feel his lips pressed against mine, my tears rubbing on his cheeks now too. He pulled away, shaking me slightly, telling me to focus just on him. I let out a shaky breath and our lips met again, this time sending chills all over my body and causing a spark to occur between us. We both pulled away, now fully alert, and stared each other up and down.

More.

We met together a little forcefully, teeth clashing against our lips and our hands grabbing onto one another's necks and-

"Just what?"

I looked back at him. "Just...my boss." He didn't seem to believe me, but I quickly walked away and headed to the conference room.

"Naruto, you finally showed up!" Asuma smiled genuinely. "You don't need to sit for this, I just wanted to let you know that your collaboration with Kintaro needs to be...different. We want you to do something you haven't done yet." My eyebrows furrowed slightly.

"Kintaro...?"

"Oh excuse me, you know him as Kiba. His stage name is Kintaro." I nodded.

"Well sir, what do you mean different?"

Sasuke took the stand on this one. "You've done a ballet-type of scene instead of your norm, you've done a more downed type of performance than your normal hype. We need something we haven't seen."

"He's exactly right. Now I know that you can, and will, think of something; that's why I asked you about this rather than let's say Sasuke."

The raven scoffed.

"You get my point, right?" I nodded. "Well off you two go, I don't need to hold you both back anymore than I already have."

We chose to ignore his implications.

We walked out to Sasuke's car in silence, but not an uncomfortable one, and I sat in the passenger seat as he began to drive away. The silence continued, the faint sound of a classical radio station playing in the background. I gazed at the window, my brows hunching together as I didn't seem to recognize the scenery or roads passing by.

"Uh, Sasuke?"

He didn't answer.

I took that as an 'I'm not telling you where we're going to just sit and shut up' and kept quiet until we stopped. He parked in front of a large glass tower, and that's when I realized that we were in the center of a downtown somewhere. Probably in the city next to us.

I wonder where we are. It didn't seem like such a long car ride, so we can't be too far.

He began to exit the expensive machine and I followed suit, blending with his shadow as we walked. We went inside the elevator hidden in the nicely decorated lobby, a receptionist strangely not present at what would be their desk. The elevator borough us to the fifteenth floor, where we were greeted by yet another empty room.

What is this place? Where is everyone?

The only light that seemed to fill the entire building was the orange glow from the setting sun. Although everything seemed to be pretty up to date and dust-free, there was an odd feeling of absence to the whole building, as if nobody had stepped foot in it for years.

"Sasuke, where are we-"

Said raven seemed to snap out of his standing stupor and walked down a hall to the left, a certain type of hesitation lingering in his steps that I had never seen before. We reached the end of the hallway, only one door present to open. He stepped to the side, avoiding my questioning gaze. I sighed softly and faced the frosted glass with faded white lettering, that of which I could no longer read, and gulped.

I grasped the doorknob gently, afraid of what could possibly be on the other side. A chill ran down the back of my neck, then my spine, a suddenly warning flushing into my system as if the round piece of metal was telling me 'no', and 'turn back before it's too late!'. Shaking my head I turned the knob and pushed the creaking wood back.

I was met with a blast of air that smelt old, as if it had been held in that little area for ages, and I cringed slightly before stepping in. It appeared to be a regular looking office, until I noticed the numerous amounts of photos hung up and resting upon tables everywhere. There was also a lackluster of paperwork, which seemed to always be in any office, or a computer. This room, also unlike the rest of the building, seemed to actually have been abandoned, as it looked a tad bit outdated and dusty. There were photos hung on the walls, now partially covered by dust, and a filing cabinet in the corner.

My eyes were drawn to the photographs on the walls. I inched closer to them, wiping the dust off of them when I got close enough. I stumbled back a little, a woman with bright red hair smiling back at me, a man almost identical to me holding her with a warm smile on his face.

This is...

The next picture was just of the woman, and the picture after that was of a little blonde boy with three whiskers and big blue eyes, his hands up and open to greet his mother.

No...

I pulled myself away from the pictures and stumbled to the desk, resting my hand upon the thick leather of the office chair. I sat down in it slowly, my muscles relaxing in it's comfort. I ran my hand along the desk, feeling every grain of the mahogany. I slowly opened the first drawer, digging through everything and looking for anything the would grab my attention. Finding nothing of interest but bills and supplies, I closed it and moved on to the bottom drawer on the same side. I searched it, coming up with the same results. I searched every drawer, finding nothing.

Maybe he was just an ordinary guy? They were rumors, after all.

I stood up and remembered the filing cabinet. I sprinted to them, attempting to pry them open and frowning when I couldn't. I tried once more, something telling me that there was everything and anything I need or wanted to know in here.

"Sasuke..." I didn't need a response to know that he was listening. "Where have you brought me?"

"Where do you think?"

I stood silent for a while, already knowing the answers. "Do you know how to pick a lock?" He threw a pick and some other kind of tool at me.

Guess that means figure it out.

I took about an hour, but I finally managed to unlock all the drawers. I grinned, only half aware of the beast I just unleashed.

What drawer would everyone think to open first?

"Hey Sasuke, which drawer do I open first?"

"Why don't you start with the first one?" I couldn't see him at the doorway anymore, yet I knew he was close by and waiting.

The first, middle, and last drawers are the easiest. The second drawer would be after them, which leaves the fourth drawer!

Feeling somewhat like I had just solved a mystery, I pulled said drawer open and was greeted with three large manila folders, papers practically oozing out of them. I grabbed the first one, carefully looking through it's contents without much hurry. The sun was already set, but the light in the room must have been automatic and turned on by itself. Turning up empty I sighed heavily, grabbing the next folder and gaining the same results.

There has to be something! Anything!

I pulled the last folder out, not surprised when I came up with yet against the same output. I let out a few curse words and I looked in the drawer as well as I could in order not to miss any details. I saw no sign of any more documents, and angrily I kicked the drawer back in it's place only for something to bounce back from inside of it.

There's something in there.

I reopened the drawer and shook it, something heavy in the bottom sliding around. I grabbed the utensils from before and shoved them between the bottom and the side, trying to pry it up and open. I shifted them to the corners instead, hoping to get better leverage, and was pleasantly surprised when the bottom popped off and revealed a brown leather briefcase, of course being shut with number locks on either side.

What would it be?

My mind went to the documents in the drawers, and I ran over to them. All of them had the number 017568 printed neatly at the top. I went back to the briefcase and tried the combination, the top popping open with a click. I briefly scanned over the items inside, my eyes widening.

The truth...
