A few more weeks passed and Berk had become covered with a thick blanket of crisp white snow, though no one was outside enjoying it, in fact, no one but Caverna. She had left the feast in the Great Hall, to get some air and cool down, her flight suit kept her warm, but mainly at the most inopportune times. Well, the heat and the fact that she wanted some sort of quiet since she normally found the music that they played was too loud. She wasn't outside for long, when she heard the door open but she didn't turn around when she heard some heavy footsteps behind her.

"I was wondering how long it would take you to come and find me." Caverna told the person with a smile.

"I know, but my parents tried to keep me with them at all times."

She looked over at Fishlegs as he sat beside her and she moved to slide a hand into his, which he took happily, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"I missed you." Caverna told him.

"I missed you too." Was his reply, which was followed by a soft kiss to the side of her head, before he sighed softly to her. "I asked Astrid about you every day, she kept telling me that you were going stir crazy."

"She was right, I was turning crazy." She sighed. "Fishlegs, do you think any bad about me because of what happened after the battle?" She asked, she sounded ashamed that she had broken down like that.

Fishlegs looked at her and he pulled her up to look at him. "Of course not, Caverna you've endured so much trauma in eighteen years, trauma that no one else would understand, you had to have broken down some time." He made her look at him, before his free hand rested on her opposing cheek. "I love you and nothing is going to change that, not anyone or anything that happens."

At seeing her small smile, Fishlegs pressed his lips to hers and the shared a soft yet long kiss, though it soon turned more and more eager, so eager that soon Caverna was straddling Fishlegs' waist and Fishlegs' hands had moved to her waist. Both of their eyes were closed and their breathing was turning into heavy pants but neither of them cared. Nothing around them mattered as Fishlegs felt Caverna's tongue pressing against his lips and he sighed in content as he felt her tongue slid into his mouth and they started a battle of their tongues.

"Aye, you two get inside."

The voice caused them to break apart rather abruptly, so that Caverna actually fell off of Fishlegs' lap but she threw herself into standing and she looked at Gobber.

"Gobber, what in god's name are you doing here?" Caverna asked, fixing herself as much as possible as the blacksmith just laughed.

"Now now you two, get inside quickly before I tell your parents." Gobber told them through laughter.

The two teenagers nodded and they got up quickly running inside, and Caverna sat down with her father and brother who were sharing a drink.

"There you are, I sent Gobber looking for you Caverna." Stoick told her.

"Oh yeah, he found me, I was sat outside." She told him as she sat down and grabbed a mug of beer from a nearby table and she chugged the whole drink in one go.

"Are you alright Caverna, you look flustered." Hiccup asked, watching his sister as she put the mug back on the table.

"I'm fine Hiccup." She told him quickly as she picked up another mug.

"Take it easy Caverna." Hiccup laughed as he took a swig of his own mug.

"We saw Fishlegs go after you, did he upset you?" Stoick asked his voice suddenly hard and cold and he was obviously thinking of how to make Fishlegs pay for healing his precious daughter.

"No dad, he didn't do anything to upset me, he promised to love me forever." She told him, and seeing her smile brightly made Stoick smile at her.

"Well...Um...That's good." Stoick told her suddenly finding it hard with what to say.

The sight of her speechless father made Caverna giggle, before she finished the rest of her drink, just as Hiccup stood up.

"Come on little sister." He told her, holding his hand out to her, though he noticed the confused look his sister gave him. "We're going to dance."

Caverna's eyes suddenly lit up, she and Hiccup had been practicing a dance that commonly occurred on Berk, and Caverna ha found herself thoroughly enjoying it. The fact that her brother wanted to spend some time dancing with his sister excited her, since she had never actually done it before, so without a second thought, she took his hand and he pulled her over to where people were dancing.

As they got onto the dance floor, everyone moved to allow the chief's children access, and Hiccup looked at the musicians.

"Play, Valka's song."

At his words, the musicians looked at him, then Stoick then back to the young man, who simply nodded and the group started to play. As the music played, the two young siblings bowed to each other before they started to dance. As they danced, they looked at each other, never breaking contact, even when they felt hundreds of eyes on them. Everyone watched them with pride, especially a certain mountain of a man with a wild orange beard. Stoick watched his children and he felt his heart swell until it could hardly ever fit into his chest, he was proud that Hiccup had taught the dance to his sister and he was even prouder to be standing there and watching the pair of them dance. Meanwhile, in the crowd, Astrid was watching her boyfriend and her best friend as the dance ended and the two siblings bowed to each other and broke apart. As they broke apart, everyone clapped and cheered, causing the siblings to laugh at each other, before Astrid suddenly ran into Hiccup, hugging him and Fishlegs came up behind Caverna and slid his arms around her. As Caverna leant into the embrace of her boyfriend, she felt his lips graze her hair and it caused her to smile, before a suddenly cold burst of wind blew the doors of the Great Hall open, the fire pit going out as well as the many torches that lit the walls. The experience caused the children to scream and the mothers to bundle them close to the bosoms in hopes of protecting them from the cause.

"Move some tables against the door!" Stoick suddenly shouted and everyone watched as some burly looking Vikings pushed tables in front of the door, before Caverna and Hiccup heard their names being called and they dashed over to their father.

"What is it dad?" Hiccup asked.

"I ned you and the other dragon riders to round up the animals, this storm is sudden, it could have spooked them." Stoick told them.

Caverna and Hiccup nodded. "Yes dad." They told him, before they ran over to where the other teens were.

"What's going on?" Astrid asked as she saw them.

"Dad needs us to round up the animals." Caverna told them, pulling up her hood.

"Great...Uh...How do we do that?" Tuffnut asked, scratching his head, looking completely lost, which just made everyone else roll their eyes.

"With our dragons!" Hiccup told him, before he and the others called for their dragons.

When everyone was seated on their dragons, the doors were opened and Caverna pulled her mask over her face and they all flew out of the Great Hall. Hiccup and Caverna were in the lead, followed by Astrid, then Snotlout and the twins and then finally Meatlug. It didn't take them long to get to the pens that normally held the animals, but when they did, they found that it had been destroyed by the wind that kept threatening to push them all backwards.

"What do we do now?" Astrid shouted over the wind.

"We need to find them." Caverna called back.

"Yeah, good plan, except for one thing...No one can see!" Snotlout shouted over he sounded annoyed, though that was because he was missing out on a perfectly good mug of ale.

His reaction caused an eye roll from his cousin, before Caverna looked around her, then at Snowcap, before she patted her head.

"Give us some light, girl." Caverna encouraged her, and Snowcap let out a plasma blast, though this turned out to be a bad idea, when a figure suddenly swooped down and it's talons grabbed Caverna and Snowcap, crushing them together.

"Caverna!" Everyone suddenly cried, the dragons letting their own calls be heard, before Toothless and Stormfly suddenly bolted after the mysterious dragon. Toothless and Hiccup managed to get close enough to almost grab hold of Caverna and Snowcap, but they were forced to move away once more when the dragon went to hit them with their tail.

"Toothless, help me!"

Hearing Snowcap cry out for him tore at his heart and Toothless pushed himself faster despite the heavy winds and the flurries of snow and ice freezing his tail, he quickly shook them off and continued his chase, Stormfly and Astrid at his side.

"Hiccup!" Caverna shouted, reaching as far as the dragon's tight grip on her would allow.

"I'm coming Caverna, just hold on!" Hiccup shouted back, an arm over his eyes to try and keep out the bits of ice and snow that he was getting assaulted with.

"Hiccup, I can't see anything!" Astrid suddenly shouted as they rode further and further after Snowcap and Caverna and their captor, though they all suddenly came to a stop as they soon found something that none of them expected, they were back at the Great Hall.

"Uh...When did we get back to the Great Hall?" Ruffnut asked.

"I have no idea...But there's no sign of Caverna, Snowcap or that mystery dragon." Hiccup told them, and he sounded riled up.

"You don't think she could be seriously hurt do you?" Fishlegs asked, suddenly sounding worried.

"Fishlegs, please, I don't want to think of that right now." Hiccup told him. "I need to find her."

"Actually, you don't." Snotlout told him, causing Hiccup to glare at him, before he saw that his cousin was pointing up and the group looked up to see Snowcap gliding down low and she soon landed in front of them, with Caverna lying on her back.

The minute that Snowcap landed, Caverna sat up and slid off of her dragon's back, yet she wasn't on her feet for long before Hiccup pulled her into a hug and Toothless bounded over to his mate as Stormfly ran over as well. Both of the dragons almost threw Snowcap to the floor as they nuzzled her and crooned in relief, and then the other dragons joined in, even Hookfang. The riders watched the dragons and they all laughed.

"Guys, let her breathe." Caverna told the dragons and they all got off of the Night Fury, except for Toothless who kept her pinned down and he was nuzzling her.

The sight of their dragons made Hiccup and Caverna laugh even more, before Hiccup started talking.

"Looks like he isn't going to let her go, just like I'm going to be doing the same to you." Hiccup told her, his arms wrapping tightly around his sister. "Did that thing hurt you?"

"Not really." Caverna shrugged. "It just carried us back here; Snowcap was the one who talked to it." She told them as they started to walk back up the hill to the doors of the Great Hall.

"You talked to it?" Toothless asked Snowcap, as he looked down at her from where she was pinned below him.

"Yes." She told him. "He wanted to protect my rider and I."

"He?" Toothless asked, suddenly feeling a pang of jealousy, another male had caught his mate and taken her away and he had hardly kept up.

"Yes, he...What's the matter Toothy?" Snowcap asked him, looking up at him as best as she could.

"Nothing...I just don't like the thought of another male getting close to you." Toothless told her, before he suddenly found himself under her.

"Don't be ridiculous." Snowcap told him. "You're my mate, no one else." She licked his cheek. "Now come on, cut it out and come into the big house with me." She told him before she got up and bounded off ahead.

Despite his mate's assurance, Toothless' mind was in overdrive, he was jealous and he was worried. Snowcap was a beautiful, young female Night Fury, many dragons found her attractive and if he wasn't there, he was sure that they would all go for her. The fact that this mystery male dragon had saved her, worried him, what if he was too old for her and she preferred this saviour more? Well, Toothless couldn't let that happen...Could he?
