Jamie had been dragged all the way to town, although not entirely literal he had however been tied up and thrown into the back of one of many CHERUB pool cars and driven there by a black shirt who apparently owed Ellie a favour... Jamie wasn't sure if he wanted to know why though.

"Something...Tells me I'm gonna be broke after this.. " he muttered as Kate and Ellie stepped out the car, waving good-bye as it drove away. Jamie sighed and looked towards the twins dejectedly. "So... Where too?"

A few hours passed and the young boy was screaming at Ghost. His arms ached from all the bags and his wallet began to cry from all the money it's had to cough up. Jamie, Ellie and Kate had sat down at a small Ice-cream parlour, partly due to the girls wanting something cold on the hot day it was, but mainly because Jamie had almost begged them; and it really was almost since he really didn't feel like giving them more ammunition to use against him.

"Jesus Christ.. How much longer are we gonna be here?" Jamie asked, resting his head against the brown wooden table. An ice cream in hand which had already began to melt which he payed close to zero attention too. "Hm.. Well, we still need new shoes" Ellie snickered, licking her Popsicle. Kate otherwise seemed more than happy as she had been silently eating her cone.

"For god sake you and your bloody shoes and clothes!" Jamie yelled, pointing at the mound of bags lying at his feet. "Are you even going to wear half of these!?" Ellie shrugged finishing off the Popsicle. "Honestly I don't even know. I'll probably grow out of them before I get the chance"

"God she's being a bitch today" Ghost muttered from within Jamie's mind but Jamie himself on the other hand couldn't stand it any longer, throwing his cone behind him, which in hindsight was a very bad idea as the cone (which still had ice-cream in) landed atop of a very angry and buff looking 18-year-old, causing the guy's friends to burst out in laughter which only served to piss him off even more.

"You little shit!" He yelled. Pushing his mates out-of-the-way and charging towards the three young agents. "Great move dumb-ass" Ghost muttered. Jamie and the girls scattered, "running, really?"

"Oh shut it" Ellie ran into the trees along with Kate whilst Jamie- the cause of the problem ran towards the buff teen, rolling through the guys legs and clipping his sack- sending the eighteen year old to crouch down in pain and Jamie rolled to his feet, spinning and using his momentum to deliver a woopin' kick to the guys ass. "There.. Your turn" the young agent muttered, snapping his fingers. The change was instant. His demeanour changed and his muscles relaxed. He raised hand as the teen twisted to look at him and a sadistic grin spread across Ghost's face "come on you ape, did a little kick to the groin hurt that much?" Ghost genuinely looked worried for a moment, before the grin reappeared and he dashed at the teen once more.

From within the safety of the tree lines the agent twins watched Ghost- who they thought was still Jamie with awe. "Has he always been this good?" Ellie asked with her hand clenched into a fist. "So he went easy on me huh" she thought and turned to Kate. Who was visibly torn from telling her, recalling Basic-training and looking back to the boy. He brows furrowed. "I.. Don't know, he never fought like that before... Something seems... Different" and she was obviously right with Ghost now being in control. He'd jumps from one fight as another boy came into throw a punch- which landed in the bulky teen's face and Ghost would twist sending a round house kick into the guy's skull. knocking the teen out before his body flowed into yet another fight.

Ellie was about to jump out of their cover and charge into the fight- which by now had grown to include the teenager's mates. When a siren was sound and an audience had gathered. Not the kind where they gathered round to fight, but the one where everyone around were scattered and watching. And one of them held a phone. "Shit"

Cops burst out a small car and charged the fighters- including Ghost who was visibly on his own. " stop!" One yelled and Ghost looked to the sound, scowling and running towards the girls, leaving the teens to fend for themselves and another car pulled up. Ghost snapped and Jamie posture changed slightly and his body lowered getting closer to the ground and his speed increased.

Grabbing onto both of the girls and ran, hoping that the police wouldn't spot them but his hopes were in vain, an old women holding a phone pointed towards the three agents and the police came running.

Jamie have her the finger as they jumped out of the woods and onto a footpath, sadly however they couldn't stop, keeping up their pace and weaving in and out of the oncoming crowds hoping to lose the cops and lose them they did. But only when they jumped into an alley, ran out the other end and casually walked into a small café like nothing was ever wrong. Jamie let out a sigh of relief and collapsed into leather chair. "Bloody hell,I'm never doing that again!" He declared and looked up to the staring twins. "What?"

Ellie was the first to speak "did you hold back on me the other day?" Jamie shrank into his seat. This was why he doesn't starts fights often- he more than often fucked everything up. "Well" he began drawing in a deep breath. "Technically, I didn't hold back"

"And what's that supposed to mean?"

He looked away and scowled, not meaning to give away Ghost and muttered "None of your business"

Jamie stood up and walked towards the door when Kate spoke. "I saw you click your fingers but I still haven't seen you pop a med in your mouth, not to mention I haven't seen you eating one in a couple of days" Jamie's shoulders shrank and he left the two agent on their own, walking away and not looking back.

Ellie scowled and followed after him. "Jamie!" He voice shook him slightly but his pace didn't Lower,but instead increased before turning into a sprint. Neither he nor Ghost felt like explaining to the few friends they had, that could. We led to the CHERUB Staff.

right, first of I'm really sorry for the delay and even more so for the short chapter,I originally planned to skip the town scene but since someone wanted It it thought screw it and put it in. The biggest reason for the delay had been lack of DECENT internet.

anyway, next chapter will finally be the start of Jamie's mission .
