Jamie awoke with a thump, not a quiet thump but a loud thump, actually it was more like a bang, just less of the actual bang. He'd fallen into his carpeted floors, lucky it was otherwise it would have been more of a slap and possibly a broken nose would have accompanied him for a few weeks.
The reason why Jamie was on the floor? Well that was simple, it was comfy, have you ever tried just laying on the nice cool floor instead of a nice snd warm bed? It's great... Ok no not really.
Jamie lifted himself off the floor and sat up, his foot still hurt from the bullet wound but not nearly as bad as before, he thought he was pretty lucky due to that. It had also been a couple days since town and the twins, he felt like sleeping again, it was a luxury he was still enjoying and wanted to enjoy it doe as long as he could, but he knew it wouldn't be long before someone called for him.
A knocking sound echoed throughout his room and reverberated of his walls, speak of the devil. Three knocks one simple knock then two knocks shortly after it which could only mean one person; James. "Jamie open up I've got a mission for you" and with that Jamie shot to the door and opened it, he'd do anything to get off this campus, or more like get away from his 'Friends'.
The young boy unlocked his door, luckily he'd been able to buy a good lock. Outside he found James in his usual white Cherub shirt, declaring him an Ex-Cherub. In his hand he held a packet which. Jamie guessed was the briefing packet.
"Right then, this is yours, and you need to come with me quickly" there was urgency in his voice, and this was James, he rarely showed urgency. "Wait, why?"
James scowled, he didn't look to happy "you're late for your first real mission"
Jamie blinked,Cohen he blinked again just for the sake of it and before his brain could click into gear he found himself being lifted up over James' shoulder. "Sorry, we need to hurry!"
A/N: Just a short chapter to sort of day I'm back (Maybe) I have a lot of free periods now that Ive started Sixth form and I mean a LOT.
Hopefully I'll be writing a lot more~
