Silence covered the atmosphere. Only Setne's groans and complains and occasional laughs were heard. The eleven of us stared at each other, eye contact was hard to maintain in the situation. Some of us looked away, Percy and I maintained our eye contact, as well as Jason and Sadie. The reason? I had no idea why we were having a staring contest, it was like, who blinked first would get killed. This was a plan made by the one and only Setne. There was no choice but to agree to his decision and I knew that.

It was like when we first met Setne in the 'Egyptian' underworld. He was going to be judged but there was an eye contact between him and Sadie which made Sadie 'save' him from his trial. It was a plan made by Setne, he always had an exchange.

Our staring contest was cut off when Setne coughed, "Are you just going to stand there staring each other down? Sadie Kane, my doll, you have to stop this spell right now. I feel like I'm dying! I-

His complains were stopped when Jason ran to him held him by the neck. Dark thunderstorm clouds started to appear. Thunder boomed and wind started to get stronger. Jason eyes showed a darker color than usual as he stared Setne down. "*Cough* Grace, you can kill me now but I hope you would realize that killing me now will also get your dear dear sister killed as well. *Cough*" Jason's grip loosened a bit as he questioned, "How is that…" He trailed off. "It's called a link spell. Sadly enough, this idiot placed the spell on himself and your sister. So whatever is happening to the idiot is happening to your sister as well," Zia spoke. Jason quickly let go of Setne in shock. Setne started laughing while rubbing his neck. "Yes, and also Sadie Kane, you should really stop the spell you're putting on me right now. It's hurting little Jason's sister," He laughed.

Jason glare went over to Sadie and she glared back. "Calm your nerve, Pikachu. The link spell is gone. I stopped it the first time you tried to hit him." Sadie then smirked over to Setne, "You using Sympathetic magic is very… low, Setne." Setne gave a frown, "You Kanes were never to my liking." I looked at Setne, "That's sad. What ever did we do wrong other than ruining your pathetic attempts?" I sense the others smile. "Smile as much as you can you arrogant so called the children of the prophecy. You'll never succeed on this one. Demigods and Magicians may have teamed up together but don't forget Egyptian, Roman and Greek monsters and Gods have 'teamed up' as well," Setne said proudly. We had nothing to say when Percy spoke, "Don't tell me. Please, I bet it's those guys who we defeated already." It brought up smiles on our faces. Setne ignored it and spoke once more, "Just don't forget about the deal. If no one from the eleven of you is handed out before the next full moon, we'll… oh well, you'll find out anyway so there's no use in telling you what'll happen." A smile formed on his face, "Well, see you next time children. I have… an important meeting." He spoke and then disappeared in a poof. Everyone was quiet. No one even said anything about how Setne just disappeared.

Hazel slowly knelt down and started packing up. Everyone was still quiet, even Leo. Frank followed Hazel and started packing up. One by one, everyone started helping pack up except for Jason who was still standing up with his fists curled. He started walking backwards slowly; his eyes still gazed upon us. "Jason…" Piper spoke and walked over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. He looked at her with troubled eyes and held her hand which was on his shoulder. "…I'll be right back…" He trailed off and flew off to somewhere. A gust of wind blew upon us, blowing our hair. Leo walked over to her spoke, "Pipes, he's gonna come back. He just needs to cool off. It's not everyday he gets a threat saying that they kidnapped his sister and to get her back he needs to hand over one of his teammates. Come on, let's go." Piper looked up to him with mournful eyes and nodded slowly, her eyes shimmering from her colorful eyes. It seemed like Piper had an ability of feeling how others felt. This was not a problem if your friend was heartbroken or anything but something like how Jason's feeling right now was pulling her down from the thought of her doing nothing about it. She was trying not to show weakness for the team's sake.

"We're waiting here until Jason comes back," Percy said. "There's not enough time," Zia spoke, the idea of delaying the journey seemed to scare her. "Then what are we supposed to do? Leave Jason?" Frank questioned her, he seemed very offended of leaving his friend. Frank seemed like the care bear type. He was protective as well. I couldn't blame him; I am over protective as well. Zia just looked away instead of talking back. Annabeth stared at the grass as if she was thinking of a strategy; her hands intertwined with Percy's. Percy had an intimidating shade to his eyes, looking towards the sky as if he's looking for Jason. Percy and Jason had this aura that made them feel like leaders. Real leaders. Leading camps to victory. I looked into my hands, snickering at the thought of me being a leader. A pharaoh. Jason and Percy were practical leaders. They could control their powers and lead people well. Me standing between those two would make me look like a bluff. What kind of pharaoh can't control his abilities well?

As I was thinking of depressing stuff, a hand shoved me lightly to break me out of my thoughts. "What's with the deep thoughts?" I looked to where the voice was coming from. It was Sadie, a questioning look on her. I shook my head to tell her it was nothing. It was obvious from her expression that she didn't fall for it but she didn't ask any further.

"I- I'm going to take a quick walk, message me when Jason's back," she spoke and started walking. "Careful," I spoke, from her distance; it seemed like she couldn't hear it but I knew she did as she gave a check sign. "Where's Sadie going?" Zia asked, all eyes were on me. "She went out for a walk," I answered shortly to end the conversation but they still kept their eyes on me. "You let her?" Hazel asked, not in a shocked voice, in fact it didn't even seem like a question. "She can take care of herself," I answered and she nodded slowly.

"We have to know where we're going next," Annabeth said, getting rid of the awkward atmosphere. We all seemed to agree and gathered around in a circle. "Alright, since Jason went to cool off and Sadie went for a walk, we'll just have to discuss without them," Annabeth spoke with hesitation. "Where's Nico?" Frank suddenly questioned. "Yeah, where's death breath?" Leo asked, receiving a glare from Hazel. "He probably just went back to the underworld," Hazel answered their questions. I looked at her weirdly, "Does he do that often?" Hazel smiled unsurely (?), "He's not the sociable type." I nodded and my mouth formed an "O" shape.

As I walked around, I saw the seaside. That's unusual, I thought. I headed to the seaside when I heard a voice, "I wouldn't go there if I were you," I looked behind me and saw Nico. I raised my eyebrow at him, "And who are you to tell me that?" He sighed, "Nico di Angelo," I glared at him, "That's not what I meant." He shrugged and leaned on a tree. My eyes followed him cautiously, "You know, I thought we were fine already? Why do you still look at me like your mad at me?" He didn't look at me, "I can't blame you for forgetting how I helped you. But you could've at least remembered a little bit." I walked towards him and looked at him, "What are you blabbering about?" He glared at me, "You really don't remember anything?" I shook my head at him, "Remember what?" He shook his head again, "Why are you here anyway? You should get back." I tilted my head, "I should be asking you the same thing." He squinted his eyes at me, "I'm not the girl here." "Excuse me? What are you trying to say?" he smirked, "I said I'm not the girl here." I looked at him confusedly not saying anything. "I said, I'm not the girl here. That means, I'm not the damsel in distress." I was taken aback, "How dare you? I might be a damsel but I am not in distress, excuse you. I don't need to be rescued. I can take care of myself." He smirked again, "You look so high on yourself." I smiled, "You could say that." He rolled his eyes, "We should get back." He stood up and started walking back. "Wait!" I stopped him by holding his shoulder, "I don't like being touched. Get your hands off me." I took my hand off if his shoulder, "Tch, me neither. You don't have to be so cold. Just chill- No, don't do that. You're cold enough. What I meant is, just..uh… warm up? Shit, I'm horrible at these things. Anyway, can I ask you a question?" He raised his eyebrow at me, "You already are." I rolled my eyes at him, "ugh, you know what I mean!" He shook his head, "I really don't." I face palmed. "Forget it. Let's go back."

We walked back in silence. Not really. I annoyed him the whole way back. I really don't know why, he's just really amusing.
