The next day, they let John leave the hospital in the afternoon. I done what I had to do with Natalya's help. She went to the arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with the birthday cake. I drove us there while John relax. We stopped at the hotel and I got our stuff while John waited in the car. He didn't mind waiting since we was still feeling a little weak. He hoped that he will be able to work at the Smackdown taping. He called Vince to tell him what happened. He asked if he could work tonight and he said he will try.
We stopped only once to use the bathroom and get something to eat. We went to the hotel to check in. john sat down in the lobby with the suitcases while I did that. He let me use his card to pay for the room. He looked over at me and smiled. After I got the card keys and walked over to him. I saw him smiling at me which I smiled back at him. He got up, got his suitcase with a bag on top of it and grabbed the handle. I got my suitcase and we walked to the elevator. I push the up button and the doors opened. I smiled and let John in first. He smiled as he walked into the elevator and I followed him. I pressed the 5th button and lean against the wall. John smiled and lean against the wall next to me. "I love you. I am thankful that you are doing this. And you are having...my child," John said as he put his hand on my stomach. I put my hand over his. "I love you, too. I am very glad this child is yours," I said. He lean down and kissed my lips. I kissed him back. Soon the doors opened, we stepped out ad walked to the hotel room. Once we got there, I opened the door and let John in first. I followed him in and shut the door behind me.
Around 7:00 P.M. we went to the Mohegan Sun Arena. We won't do any slots or play for money because that is what John don't do. He was feeling better to do his job. I did some of my work though I did wanted to quit. I have not told John about it yet. Though I should talk to Vince about it. John was sitting in the men's locker room and talking to Micheal Cole. I told some of my friends about the baby and they were happy for me. "Thanks," I told them. I did some work that I could do without hurting my stomach. While working, I saw Vince McMahon with his daughter and son in law. I didn't want to interrupt them. So I will just wait until he is alone. I sighed and got back to work.
At 8:00 P.M., the Smackdown taping started. After I while of working, I took a break and sat in the catering where there was a TV showing the taping. I smiled as I heard John's voice. I took a sip of my water then rubbed my stomach. I looked around the arena and saw Vince McMahon walking to a table, alone. I sighed and got up from my table and walked over to his. "Excuse me Mr. McMahon," I said. He looked up at me and smiled. "Hello, Jamie. What can I do for you today?" He asked. "I wanted to talk to you about my job," I said. He nodded and said, "Okay. You can take a seat, too." I thanked him and sat down. "I am thinking of quitting. I do love working here, but I just can't do this anymore. Plus with me being pregnant and all, it's going to be hard and I would have to raise it," I told him. Vince listen to me and nodded. "You are pregnant? Wow. Well, I guess that is fine. If you want to quit, you can. Just come by the headquarter to get your last pay check on Friday," He said. "Yes. And thank you," I said then got up to go find Natalya. Vince nodded and watched me leave.
I found her in the divas' room. I told her that I talked to Vince and told him I quit. "Awe. Why?" She asked. "Because I won't have time for all this when the baby comes," I said. "But, you need to have money for him or her," Natalya said. "Yes, but that is where the father comes in. John will take care of us," I said. "Yeah. Will you still be around when John goes to Raw and Smackdown?" Natalya asked. "Yeah. Just will take a few weeks to be with the baby though. I hope it's a boy," I said as I rubbed my stomach. Natalya smiled and looked down at my stomach. "Still on for the little party for Jerry and John?" She asked. "Yes. Don't tell them," I said as I smiled then left the room. I went to watch the taping with the other superstars and divas.
After the taping, we set up the cake in the catering area. Everyone was there that can make it. I went to see John and Jerry. I kissed John once and told them to follow me, which they did. Michael Cole followed, too. Once we got there, everyone said, "Happy early Birthday!" I smiled as I looked at John then at Jerry. Both were surprised and loved it. "Who did this?" Jerry asked as he went to look at the cake. "Me," I said. John looked at me and smiled." Awe, babe. Thank you," He said then kissed me again. Jerry thanked me as we hugged. They put 111 candles on the cake. and put their names on it, too. After lighting them, they made a wish and blew out the candles. Everyone cheered and John cut the cake. He gave it to me then got one himself. Jerry cut the rest for everyone else.
We sat far from everyone else so we can be alone. We ate some of the cake then John began to talk. "How did you do this?" He asked. "I asked Natalya to get a cake for you guys and she did. Well, I asked Stephanie if we could have the party and she said yes. So here we are. How are you?" I asked. "I am okay. My head does hurt a little. I'll take something after this," John said as he took another bite of cake. I smiled and ate my cake. When we finished our cake, we threw the plates away and John was hugged by some of his friends. He thanked them and went down the corridor to the men's locker room. I followed him. "What you want to do tonight?" I asked him. John shrugged. "Just relax back at the hotel with you," He said as he looked over at me. I nodded and put my hand on my stomach. John looked at my stomach and smiled then he got ready to go back to the hotel.
