Kate's POV

My eyes were closed shut. I was just waited for death to come. Suddenly I hear a loud thud. I opened my eyes to see Lone on top of Jackie in his werewolf form and was beating him as hard as he could. Out of the corner of my eye I saw our pack running away in fear to their den. I heard some hard hits in Lone's direction so I turned my head to see what is going on.

"You...Get...Out…Of...My…Brother!" Lone yelled as he rammed Jackie's head into the ground

Jackie then flipped Lone off of him and gave himself enough time to get up. "Ah Lone its nice to see you again" he said with a smile on his face.

"Get out of Humphrey Jackie! You had your time. Now let Humphrey have his!" Lone yelled and lunged at Jackie and then Jackie caught Lone at mid jump.

"I don't think so" Jackie said and threw Lone off the hill and he landed with a huge thud.

I heard sounds of bones breaking and I knew the Lone must have broken something. I heard a scream of pain and I instantly knew it was Lone's. "Mom, Dad stay here. I'm going to see if I can distract Jackie"

"Kate no! You can't do that!" Eve yelled

"Mom I have to try. I need Lone to get Humphrey back" I said and I looked over to my dad. He nodded and I knew he was going to keep my sister and mother safe. I ran behind Jackie and yelled his name. He turned around and growled

"I see you want some attention." He said with a grin "This should be fun"

"Come on! You don't scare me you son of a bitch!" I yelled at him. He slowly walked towards me.

"I see I have a real talker" Jackie said as he evilly smiled "Let's see if we can fix that problem…. Permanently!" He said and raised his paw. I turned my head and waited for the impact.

All the sudden I look at Lone and his fur turned golden and his eyes were completely yellow. He stood up and cracked his bone back in place and he jumped back to the top of the den.

"Hello Jackie" he said in a woman's voice that was calm but threatening. Jackie turned and faced him.

"Annelise" he growled obviously angrier.

"Who else you fucking tyrant" she said an angry surge coming from the calm and collected voice.

'Who's Annelise?' I thought to myself as I looked at both of them with fear

They both snarl and growl angrily at each other. "I thought I got rid of you years ago"

"Well I'm here now to make sure you don't try anything stupid" she said "Like last time"

"Shutup you fucking whore!" He yelled and he lunged at her and he was aiming for her throat.

She side stepped out of the way and he flew passed her and he went off the cliff. I looked at Annelise and how fast she moved out of the way. She then jumped down the cliff to face Jackie. "Kate! Get back here!" A voice said. I turned my head in the direction of where the voice was coming from. I saw my father at the top of the den near the entrance of the den. "Come on! Hurry!" He yelled. I didn't waste any time and quickly ran to my father.

I ran in the den with my dad close behind me and my mom came and hugged me. "Oh my god Kate are you alright?" My mom said obviously worried "Did he hurt you?"

"Mom I'm fine" I said to her as she started looking at my body searching for any scratches. "Mom relax he didn't touch me"

"Are you sure?" She asked in a worried tone.

"Yes I'm fine"

I then turned my attention to the two werewolf demons that were battling it out. I see dirt flying up and the two were on top of each other finding a weak spot to hit.

Jackie was on top and he sank his teeth into Annelise's left arm. Blood spewed out as Jackie began to tighten his grip on her arm. Annelise was yelling in pain and she tried to get away but Jackie wouldn't let go.

Annelise moved her right arm to Jackie's head. She started to pull with all of her strength. She slowly pulled Jackie's teeth out of her arm and blood came pouring down from the bite wound. Annelise then put her foot on his chest and launched him away from her. With the little time she gave herself she stood up and put her paw on the wound as she tried to stop the bleeding.

Then Jackie some how got around Annelise and tackled her from behind knocking her down to the ground hard. Jackie then stood up over her.

"I have to say I thought you were stronger than this. I guess Lone softened you up a bit." He said with an evil smile and raised his paw to her throat as the his claws were right against her neck "Its been nice knowing you hun but I have a park to..."

Annelise's POV

I thought it was the end for me he had his claws ready for the kill. "Its been nice knowing you hun but I have a park to..." was all said and he backs off. I was completely missing what was going on but then he put both paws on the side of his head. For some reason he yelled

"What's happening?" He yelled with a sound of pain in his voice

I got up and watched as the wolf was fighting it he was fighting Jackie's control and beating him

"I see your possession has been weakened by my host. He knew how to get to you directly. Weakening you with his seal. You see we as one will never be beaten as we are light and dark as one." I said

"No! I will take over this park and I will kill you, you bitch just wait I will destroy all of you!" He yelled "starting with her" he said as he pointed to the head Alpha den upon the cliff.

Jackie then went on all fours and began to shrink in size. He was losing his power to his host. Jackie was now a regular wolf but was now different. The black and gray wolf with his blue symbols around his body in front of me was different than Jackie. He was different than all the hosts Jackie had taken.

Jackie's host was standing and was breathing heavily as if he was out of energy. "Humphrey!" I heard feminine voice yell.

I see a blonde wolf come running down the slope of the cliff and ran in the direction of the wolf named Humphrey. He looked in her direction and used all of his strength that he had left to speak.

"Kate..." was all he said. The the wolf known as Humphrey fell on the ground unconscious.

I started to convulse I transformed back into my host's self but I was still using his body. My fur turned white along with my eyes. I see the she wolf known as Kate run to Humphrey. "Humphrey? Humphrey!" She yelled as she was nudging him to wake up.

"He's unconscious." I said to her

"What?" She asks as she turned and looked at me.

"He's unconscious. It may be a couple of days until he wakes up." I informed her. From what I could tell she let out a tear. Her ears went flat on her head.

"Will he be okay?" Asks with a sad tone which sounded like she was on the verge of tears as she was looking at the one she love's body laying on the ground.

"He'll be fine in a matter of days." I said to her trying to calm her. "Kate I have seen your love for Humphrey... I can only say that it will protect you wherever you go."

She looks at me "What makes you say that?" she asks

"I can tell just how the way you act. And it helps to have love because it gives you hope" I said as I approached her. As soon as I got near her I turned my attention to Humphrey. "You don't need to worry about him. He is different than all the other wolves Jackie has possesed."

Kate then looked at me with both a worried and a confused face. "Others? How is he different than the others?" She asks

"First off none of the other hosts can break free from Jackie's control like he did. And there is something about him that says he will end the battle between me and Jackie."
