Thursday, August 28, 2014; I was laying down on the bed in the house that we got in Tampa, Florida. We brought a house a couple months ago so I can give birth in the US. John was in the other room watching TV while I nap. Soon I was having pains in my stomach. I know I was having contractions. I felt that my water broke. I yelled for John. He heard and ran into the room. "We need to go to the hospital now. Charlie is coming," I said as I hold my stomach. "Oh...damn, okay. Let me help you," John said. He took my hand and helped me up. We walked down the stairs and out to the car. When he got me in to the front, he rushed to get the suitcase that was packed all ready. He put it in the back seat, got in the car and started it up. John left the driveway and drove to the hospital. I was trying not to push. He told me to breath in and out so I did. He rushed to the hospital. He stopped when he had to and not go to fast to get a cop on us. That would be very bad to have cops on us while we were trying to get to the hospital.

When we got there, he got a nurse to help me into the hospital. I sat in the wheelchair that a nurse got and wheeled me in. They got me to a room and the doctor came to see how I was and if I was ready to push or not. John stood by me as I held his hand. I probably was hurting it, but he didn't say anything about it. Soon the doctor told me to push, so I did as I squeezed the life out of John's hand. He was telling me to push so I did because I wanted the pain to stop and for us to see our son.

After a few more pushing, Charlie Bart Layfield was born. We heard him cry as we cried. The nurse made sure he was healthy and cleaned him up. Me and John kissed then looked over to see the nurse checking up on him. "Congratulations. What's the little guy name?" The doctor asked. "His name is Charlie Bart Layfield," I said. He nodded and went to tell one of the nurse. I looked at John. "We have a son," I said. "Yeah, we do. I love you, Jamie. I love our son, Charlie," John said.

Soon, I get to hold Charlie. They said that he was healthy. I thanked them and looked down at Charlie in my arms. His eyes was still close. I smiled and kissed his forehead. "I love you, Charlie. Mom and dad will protect you from harm always," I said. I looked at John as he smiled at us. "We will," He said. I smiled and kissed him again. John then took Charlie to hold. I smiled at them and sighed as I know that we will be a great family.

The next day, we brought Charlie home. John had gone home to get some things for Charlie. I put his clothes on as he slept. John just watched me. When I finished I picked him up. "You guys look great together. Son and mother. Here let me see my little Charlie," John said. I nodded and gave Charlie a kiss then handed him to John. I got everything ready as John hold Charlie. He walked to the window to look outside. It was hot out, but to hot. He smiled down at Charlie. "I am going to teach you everything. Though I may play a lot of other sports, but I can teach you football. Plus other sports like soccer and baseball or whatever sport you want to be apart of. Me and mom will support you in whatever you want to do in life," John said. I smiled as I looked over at them. John is a great father to Charlie even if this was his first child. He had worked with kids in Bermuda. Once we got ready, we left the hospital. John put Charlie in the car seat in the backseat then I got in next to the car seat. I looked down at Charlie and he was sleeping now. I smiled and looked at John. He closed the door and put the bags into the trunk. Then he got int the driver's seat and looked back at us. "Is Charlie okay?" He asked. "He is sleeping now," I said. John smiled then started the car and drove home.
