Naruto: The Sharingan Wielder
Chapter XX: Chunin Exams: Scrolls and Prelims
Note: This chapter will cover more of the second stage of the exams, including the first appearance of Orochimaru and the curse seal that he will give to sasuke. Furthermore, we will also see the suna teams crushing their opponents to get scrolls before reaching the tower so this will probably be about 5 to 10 pages.
Naruto wasn't too worried about the forest of death since he can easily detect anything around him thanks to the powers of the sharingan. However, he could feel that his face was being cut up by Anko's kunai earlier when she started using mind games on him. Although he wasn't affected by her attacks, the knife simply phased through him and hit the ground.
Flashback
Anko suddenly appeared behind Naruto as his teammates headed towards the sight of the scrolls and their comrades and started licking the boy's check while Sasuke and Sakura jaw-dropped.
"What the hell are you doing with Naruto, you psychotic bitch!?" shrieked Sakura.
"What do you think? I am seducing him since you only love Sasuke instead of Naruto. Anyway though, you seem pretty confident inside this forest since many of the other genins that were here previously never made it out alive. But seeing that your team and the rest of the konoha 9 breezing through my forest is a first sight for me. You got guts kid for capturing a traitor of this village so get out there and make me proud." Smiled Anko as she patted the boy's back.
"Sure, I will give it my all, and maybe we can go out and eat some dango after this is over." Smiled Naruto.
"Are you nuts! That woman can easily torture you in seconds and you have the guts to date her?" shouted sakura.
"Relax, sakura-chan. Anko and I have known each other for quite some time now and if I plan on adding her to my list of potential political marriages, than so be it." Said Naruto as he disappeared into a flock of black crows towards the destination of where the grass genins were located, leaving Sakura and Sasuke to wonder where he wandered off to.
"Genjutsu, eh? Not bad brat." Said Anko. "You don't seem to be scared of this forest."
"Meh, this place is nothing compared to the furball." Said Naruto as Anko snickered at the voice that dared to call the kyuubi a furball.
How many times do I have to tell you I AM NOT A FURBALL" yelled kurama inside his mind
Actually, you are a furball due to the fur and its so soft and cuddly" squealed Naruto while Kurama sweat-dropped.
End Flashback
"So Sasuke, how shall we do this?" asked Naruto.
"Let us head straight to the tower and if we see any team that we find, we will take them out. Otherwise we can set some traps for them" said Sasuke.
"Sakura-chan, do you think you can keep up and run for at least 7 more miles in order to find team 10?" asked Naruto.
"it should be fine." Replied Sakura.
"Good. Kage Bushin no jutsu!" said Naruto and out came 15 of his clones. "Divide yourselves into five teams and scout ahead while one of us stay behind to keep an eye out for traps." Ordered Naruto as the groups of clones dashed off towards the front and to the side.
"Sasuke, use your sharingan to make sure no one gets past my clones. I will go ahead and keep the grass genins at bay." He then dashed off towards the unsuspecting grass team before taking out a few senbon and knocked them all out with precision in the neck area. With them out of commission, Naruto sifted through their bags until an earth scroll was found.
"Just what we needed, let us get to the tower at full speed. If you cannot walk, Sakura I can carry you." Said Naruto.
"No, I am fine, but I will go on ahead and protect Shikamaru's team." Said Sakura as she disappeared into a swirl of leaves.
As the gang headed towards the tower at full speed, sasuke detected a massive chakra spike. "I don't sense any genin, it must be a jinchuuriki" he said as the team stopped to find where that was coming from.
"I am going to check that out, you guys go ahead to the tower and I will meet you there." Said Naruto as he activated his sharingan.
"Why?" asked Sasuke
"It could be someone from our village that might need help. Relax, you got my hirashin marker. I will see you at the tower." Replied Naruto as he prepared to jump away.
"Be careful, Naruto." Said Sakura as she hugged her teammate. "That's for good luck."
"Don't worry." Said Naruto. And within seconds he was gone.
As the blonde traveled to the location of the chakra spike, he sensed two presences near him before analyzing their chakra levels an found that one was a jonin while the other had kage level reserves. At that moment, Naruto could tell that the mysterious shinobi was a sannin that has the ability to summon snakes. He also recognized the jonin as Anko while the other one was not known to other villages since he used to be a former student of Hiruzen Sarutobi. Naruto never felt that chakra anywhere before and if there was anyone in the village that had that much strength, it has to be the Hokage and the blonde himself. As the blonde approached them with extreme caution, he could hear them talk and Anko was extremely angry and scared.
"Ah Anko-chan, how have you been?" the other voice asked in a sadistic tone.
"What the hell are you doing here, orochimaru?" asked Anko.
'Ah the snake-teme. I should have known it was Orochimaru' Naruto thought to himself as he continued to observe and jump in if necessary.
"I am going to be dropping off a gift to a promising genin on naruto's team." Said Orochimaru cryptically.
"Why didn't you?" asked Ank rhetorically.
"Why so serious Anko-chan, you don't like my gift?" asked orochimaru evilly. At that moment, Anko has had enough as she drew her kunai and charged at him. However, Orochimaru placed his hand in the tiger seal and activated her curse mark, causing Anko to scream in pain.
"you did forget whom you are talking to." Said Orochimaru, "Sen'eijashu (Hidden Snake Hands)" – soon, Orichimaru extended a couple of snakes towards Anko and started biting her.
"katon: Hosenka no jutsu (Phoenix Fire Technique) – said Naruto as he sent multiple fireballs towards the snakes and destroyed them with ease before he jumped in between orochimaru and Anko before checking her neck and noticed that the strange mark was starting to glow.
"Curse mark. Shit, he is probably after Sasuke too" –thought Naruto.
"My my, another little genin coming to Anko's rescue, how cute." Said Orochimaru in his usual mocking tone.
"Any ideas on how to defeat him, fox?" asked Naruto.
"That snake is here for some reason and if you fight him here now, too much attention will be attracted. Flare my chakra and try to hold him off." Suggested Kurama as Naruto did what he was told to draw attention to any shinobi in the nearby area.
"So that's the kyuubi brat." Thought orochimaru. "Well, I got time for some fun with you."
"What the hell do you want, Snake-teme?" asked Naruto as he tried to buy some time since snakes tends to be slippery.
"So you know about me? I'm so honored." Chuckled Orochimaru. "I am here to leave a small parting gift for the Uchiha."
"Gift? You call a curse seal a gift? Do you have any idea what it could do to them?" asked Naruto.
"Of course it's a gift. When he destroys the sound team I sent to kill him, he will realize the power that comes from it." Replied Orochimaru.
"First Anko and now Sasuke? You bastard!" shouted Naruto as he rushed towards Orochimaru with taijutsu
"you are a little too hot-headed, aren't you?" asked orochimaru. Naruto could only smirk as he used katsu and his clone exploded, sending the snake sannin crashing into a nearby tree. "Now was that surprising?" Orochimaru said as he watched Naruto escaping from the bush he was hiding in.
"What do you want Sasuke for?" asked Naruto.
"Just his eyes." Added Orochimaru.
'The sharingan? But I already have his power so it would be wise to hide it since I don't want a pedophile coming after me" thought Naruto as he and orochimaru continuedtheir taijutsu battle. But it seems that the snake has the ability to dodge every single attack the blonde did by bending his body in various angles.
"Is that all you got?" taunted Orochimaru
"No, but it's time for me to bring in the big guns." Naruto said as he took a whole different stance before activating his ems and hiding completely emotionless with his cold blue eyes looking directly at Orochimaru. He then called out a wide range attack and summoned out his clone while saying "Katon, Ryuuka no jutsu (Dragon Fire Technique)"
"Fuuton –Daitoppa (Great Breakthrough)"
The result was a big wide area of effect stream of fire that rushed Orochimaru and burned the surrounding area. As Anko watched in amazement, she realized that no other jonin could do these techniques without passing out from chakra exhaustion. Once the fire died down, Naruto watched as the snake bastard slowly crumbled away until he used a reversing kawarimi. This time, Naruto searched around and sensed that snake just in time to jump away from a hand that shot out of the ground.
Orochimaru resurfaced and Naruto appeared behind him as well. "Leaf style: Lion's Barrage!" shouted Naruto as he unleashed a barrage pf kicks towards orochimaru before it struck his face and jaws, along with his stomach. The snake didn't expect such a technique from a genin and quickly moved out of the way. However, Naruto wasn't finished as he took out his sword and slashed Orochimaru's shoulder with a clear shot, causing him to groan in pain as the blood splattered to the ground below.
"This brat is dangerous, if I didn't dodge that, he could have killed me." Thought Orochimaru as he continued to observe the blonde as he didn't show any signs of stopping.
"My, my. You are something else altogether. It's a shame you can't be my next vessel," grinned orochimaru as he opened his mouth to spit out his inhumane proportions before showing another one while dispatching his old skin behind.
"What the fuck are you?" asked Naruto as he was disgusted at what just happened.
"It's been fun toying with you but I must go now. See you around." Said Orochimaru as he sank into the ground in order to avoid the ANBU coming towards them.
Afterwards, Naruto turned his attention towards Anko and said, "Are you okay, Anko-neechan?"
"I am fine, but what you did out there was so amazing!" yelled Anko. She quickly recoiled in pain once the Anbu arrived with the Sandaime accompanying them.
"Naruto, what just happened?" the hokage asked. He was wearing his full battle gear that consisted of a full tight black body suit with metal shields in his arms and legs. Also with him was his personal summon, Enma the Monkey King since he has also been in many battles previously.
"Orochimaru is here and I think he was responsible for Anko's curse mark." Said Naruto as the Hokage's eye widened.
"So that old snake is back eh? What was he doing here?" asked Enma.
"He is probably after Sasuke's sharingan. I believe that the last survivor of the Uchiha clan could have the same curse mark as well." Explained Naruto. The old man sighed and realized that the prodigy of his student turned out to be his greatest mistake.
"Anbu, take Anko to the hospital" ordered the Hokage as the Anbu carried the proctor out of the forest before disappearing. "Naruto, do you still have the scrolls?" he asked.
"Yes, but I am going to go after Sasuke since Orochimaru is closing in on him with the sound team." Said Naruto.
"All right, but be careful. I risked a lot already by interfering with the exams. Also, take Enma with you since he is very useful in tracking down enemy shinobi." Said the Hokage as he left the forest while motioning for the monkey to follow Naruto. Soon, multiple shadow clones appeared from the forest as they are spread out widely to find his teammate.
"Enma, can you sense anyone below you?" asked Naruto.
"Sound genin detected with other fellow konoha shinobi not too far from here. You should be there in about an hour." Replied Enma as he turned into a thunderbolt staff.
"Thanks, Enma-sama." Smiled Naruto as he took the staff and ran through the forest as quickly as he could while covering the entire area. About an hour later, Naruto could sense Sakura's chakra signature, especially Sasuke's since it was weaker and weaker.
"Damn, Orochimaru must have gotten to Sasuke already. This is bad." Said Naruto.
"Focus on the battle ahead of you. Your friends need your assistance." Stated Enma.
"You're right. Let's go!" shouted Naruto as he arrived where Sakura was and noticed madness and mayhem. Sakura was already on the ground with her hair cut in half and several kunai wounds. Lee was also there but he was bleeding from his hairs and bruised like crazy. As for team 10, Ino tried her best with the mind walking jutsu while Choji did his best to use his human boulder on Zaku after being called fatso. None of them had the chance to defeat the sound genin and kiba was already out cold.
"you are all pathetic." Smirked Dosu as he picked up his kunai and made his way towards Sasuke to finish him off. However, Naruto immediately jumped in front of him and quickly whacked his head with the thunderbolt staff, sending him into the ground.
Everyone was happy that Naruto has finally arrived.
"Another one of those weaklings, those guys just pop out of nowhere." Said a pissed off Zaku.
"Just leave and let me take your scrolls and nothing will happen to you guys." Smirked Naruto.
"I will wipe that smirk off your face." Snicked Dosu as he flexed his arm showing off his gauntlet. "melody arm"
Naruto activated his sharingan and noticed the sound waves filled with chakra. "This cannot be good" he thought to himself as the sound waves went directly towards Naruto but did nothing to him.
"Was that supposed to hurt me?' asked Naruto.
Everyone was shocked at what the blonde just did since Lee was out cold with that jutsu and yet Naruto was still standing there acting like nothing has happened to him.
"Your gauntlet is totally useless. I will deal with him myself." Said Zaku as he stepped forward intending to end the blonde with his Decapitating air waves, but Naruto immediately activated his kamui to let the attack phase him. Zaku watched in horror as the attack dissipated into thin air.
"Such a nice breeze" chuckled Naruto. Zaku was beyond pissed and tried again and said,, "I got you this time, you are now sleeping with the fishes." He chuckled.
Unfortunately for Zaku, Naruto appeared behind him and grabbed one of his arms before twisting it like a madman, causing the sound genin to scream like crazy. He thenused the lion's barrage and whacked the boy's jaw hard as he hit the ground, leaving Dosu and Kin shocked at what just happened. The blonde kid was playing with them this entire time and managed to knock Zaku out with one attack without any movements.
"Last warning: Give us the scroll and leave in peace." Said Naruto in an emotionless tone. The three sound genins did as they were told before disappearing. "That was close, I will have to tell Ibiki to hold those three in the T & I department after the preliminaries." He thought to himself as he picked up the scrolls and walked over to his friends.
Soon, Neji and tenten arrived at the scene and were horrified at what they just saw.
"How nice of you to join us, neji." Said Naruto as he sensed team gai's shinobi.
"What happened here? What did those scumbags did to lee?" asked Neji as he activated his byakugan before getting into his fighting stance.
Suddenly, a huge wave of chakrak exploded from the ground below as Sasuke slowly rose up with purple chakra swirling around him. His body was covered in some sort of a black tattoo.
"Yes, with this power, I can easily kill Itachi!" shouted Sasuke at no one in particular. He could feel the power of the cursing through his body thanks to Orochimaru. The raven haired boy looked around for someone to test his new powers with and quickly pointed at Naruto as he carried the unconscious body of Zaku onto Enma.
"Naruto, fight me, I want to test my strength on you." Commanded Sasuke as he quickly rushed towards the blonde and engaged in battle.
"Sasuke-kun,stop! This isn't you!" cried Sakura as he grabbed the raved haired boy by the waist and hugged him. She had to defend those who were crushed and watched in horror as Orochimaru bit Sasuke in the neck and gave him the strange marking while he went completely beserk.
"I don't have time for this, I cannot allow him to use that curse mark any longer" thought Naruto as he quickly outmaneuvered Sasuke and got behind him with the arms held at his side.
"Neji, do you mind?" asked Naruto rhetorically. Neji smirked and got down from the tree and arrived near the Uchiha before knocking him out with a few tenketsus
Naruto breathed a sigh of relief and said,"Now that everything has been calmed down, let's leave this forest of doom. Everyone has their scrolls now?" Everyone nodded at that response.
"Okay, everyone touch a part of me and let's go." Said Naruto. But everyone just stared at him in confusion.
"What do you mean touch you?" asked Neji as he narrowed his eyes.
"Place a hand on my shoulder or so. Neji you pick up lee, Sakura, you pick up Sasuke and Kiba while I have Zaku on my shoulder. Also the thunderbolt staff is on my back. We don't have time to waste." Said Naruto as everyone gathered all around him and vanished in an instant before dropping down near the tower where Hinata and Shino were there waiting.
"Jeez, teleporting with so many people takes a lot of my chakra out." Thought Naruto as he regained his breathe,
"Naruto, what just happened?" asked Ibiki.
"my team got ambushed by Orochimaru?" replied Naruto as ibiki's eyes widened at that response.
"How did you manage to get into the tower so quickly?" asked Tenten.
Naruto paused to wipe the sweat off his brow and didn't think much of it since it would be a mess if they found out about this.
"It's a space time technique just like the summoning jutsu since I can easily get from one destination to another." Explained Naruto hoping to let all of his friends believe him and not ask any more questions. He then walked towards Ibiki and handed him the unconscious zaku.
"What's this for?" asked Ibiki.
"He is one of orochimaru's subordinates since they were tasked to kill Sasuke. So, it would be in our best interest if he was taken to the hospital to be healed before he goes off toward the T & I department. Also, Dosu and Kin should be taken there as well because they could be useful in repelling the invasion of our village." Said Naruto.
"I see, we will see what we can do. Anyway, you should get back to the preliminary exams now since you guys passed the test. All I can say is good luck to you." Smiled Ibiki as he took Zaku off from Naruto's hands and handed him off to the ANBU guards as they shunshined away. At that moment, Narutpo breathed a sigh of relief as he returned towards his teammates and examined the scrolls.
"Shall we open them?" asked Hinata.
"Let's do it. Who knows what sort of surprises that awaits us." Replied Naruto.
"Oi fox boy, you don't need me for this part of the mission right? I will give Sarutobi your best regards." Said Enma.
"Of course and thank you for your service." Smiled Naruto as the monkey king disappeared in a puff of smoke while he sent a clone to return the staff back to the Sandaime Hokage. Soon, Naruto opened them and saw that it was a summoning scroll and soon, smoke started leaking from them.
"We better drop them to the ground." Shuddered Kiba.
Once the smoke disappeared from the ground, there were two people standing in the middle of the room and this shocked members of Team 8 and Team 10 altogether.
"Sensei?" everyone said at the same time.
" Come on guys, let's get inside, you and rest of the leaf genin were among the second group to arrive since the Sand Shinobi were the first ones to get here. So you guys have 4 days to rest up before you reboot your strength again. We can only wish you guys good luck on the preliminaries." Smiled Asuma.
"He's right, you guys have done well to survive the forest assault So just rest up in your rooms until you are called for the preliminary rounds." Said Kurenai.
And with that the teachers disappeared in a puff of smoke as the kids were sent to their assigned rooms. As for Sasuke, he still wanted power for himself once Naruto was out of the way and Sakura feels that her teammate was not acting like his normal self.
Soon, Naruto could see Gaara approaching him and said, "Something you need?"
"Uzumaki Naruto, you really interest me." He said.
"Sorry, but I don't play that way since I already have a couple of girlfriends." Said Naruto as he chuckled and kissed Hinata on the cheek, leaving her blushing and Kiba jaw-dropping on the floor. Temari and Kankuro were wondering of all the leaf shinobi were insane or just on drugs.
"Mother will have your blood and everyone will acknowledge my existence." Said Gaara with a sick smile.
"Mother? You realize that the one tailed shukaku is a male, right? And you don't need to kill people noticing you." Finished Naruto.
"That doesn't matter. Once you are out of the way, my existence will be known to the world." Said Gaara
"You want people to acknowledge you, then you need to find the people that you want to protect instead of killing them. You fight to protect those that are precious to you and then everyone will accept you and acknowledge you forever." Explained Naruto
"You fight to protect people?" asked Gaara
"Yes, and your true strength comes from your heart when you fight to protect those that you care about." Finished Naruto.
"We are nothing but assassins since we are weapons of mass destruction." Finished Gaara. As for his siblings, they were scared of what their teammate might do next since they want nothing to do with killing because they are here for peace and nothing more. After the conversation was heating up, Kankuro walked over to Naruto and whispered, "Gaara isn't someone that you can cross, dude. He is insane so it's no use to try and talk him out of it."
"I know, but when I face him in the arena, I am sure I can snap him out of his trance so that he can understand what friendship really means." Said Naruto. "Anyway, I need to meet up with Anko and her crew." And with that he walked out of the room leaving the blood-thirsty gaara behind while Temari and Kankuro smiled at him.
Once Naruto had separated from his team, he headed towards the fifth floor and walked towards the room, knocked on the door and saw the Hokage, Anko, Ibiki and a few chunins
"Can I help you, Naruto-kun?" asked the Sandaime.
"I need to talk to Anko in private since this is important." Said Naruto as Anko raised an eyebrow wondering what the kid wanted.
"Of course" replied the Hokage as he gestured everyon to leave the room for a few moments except for Anko. Naruto then quickly ran through a series of hand seals before saying "Sound Barrier Seal" leaving only a small flash of light in the room.
Anko was surprised by seeing a genin using a seal like that and knew what sort of life Naruto had lived.
"Now then, I need to take a look at your cursed seal if you don't mind" said Naruto as he examined the proctor's neck.
"Why do you want to look at it?" asked Anko
"I want to know if I am able to remove it since Sasuke has the same seal as you do." Said Naruto. Anko suddenly laughed before continuing. "Kid, I will give you guts for being strong, but this seal is impenetrable."
"Any seal can be removed." Said Naruto. "Have faith in me, besides it doesn't hurt to try."
"Come now Anko, you don't know that Naruto has the sharingan?" said the Hokage.
Anko quickly raised an eyebrow and watched carefully. "You are telling me that this kid is a seal master? The only other person that can do the sealing is Jiraya of the sannin and he couldn't do it."
"The kid was practically trained by Itachi Uchiha and to tell you the truth, he provided our village with a few seals of his own with some exploding tags and flash tags." Explained the Hokage.
"How about a bet? If I cannot remove the seal, I will pay an all you can eat at the Dango shop. But if I can remove it, you will have to do the same for me with ramen." Grinned Naruto.
"Fine." Sighed Anko as she removed her coat so Naruto can easily have access to her curse mark. Naruto then activated his sharingan in order to memorize the seal before placing his fingers on the curse mark before channeling some chakra. He then noticed the mark glowing slightly, causing Anko to wince in pain.
"Anko, please activate the curse seal." Said Naruto.
"Fine." Said Anko as she channeled chakra to her curse seal and it started spreading all over her whole body where black marking started appearing. "This is very interesting" said Naruto as he analyzed the changes throughout the body.
"For this mission, I have to force the kyuubi's chakra to it and destroy it, but it could also poison you. It would require a medic like Tsunade Baa chan to stabilize you long enough to remove it." Explained Naruto.
"Tsunade baa-chan?" asked Anko.
"My grandmother of course." Replied Naruto.
"HOLY SHIT! you are her godson?" yelled Anko. Tsunade was a legend among all the kunoichi since she was strong and beautiful.
"Yes, but we don't want anyone else to find out about this. Now then, I noticed the seal is leaking chakra since it is also sending a few chemicals to create addiction and increasing body stamina and strength. Therefore, I will need baa chan to remove it. Furthermore, I have to get some scrolls that can help permanently lock the seal away." Said Naruto as he quickly left to grab a large scroll and placed it on the ground to show a big complex sealing array.
"Anko, I need you to sit in the middle of the scroll." Naruto said as Anko went forward and took her seat. "Now then, even though I might not be able to remove the seal completely, I can place a restriction and block seal that will permanently restrict it from coming back. In other words, you might need to force chakra to the seal and activate it and you won't have constant pain."
"Let's do it." Said Anko.
"This might sting a little." Warned Naruto,
"I am used to pain by now." Replied Anko.
Naruto then ran through a few hand seals before placing his hand on the curse mark and suddenly, kanji started erupting from his hands and onto Anko.
"Fuja Hoin (Evil Sealing method)" said Naruto and in an instant, the kanji began rushing towards his hand and formed a ring around the curse seal as if it was being locked.
"We are done, how are you feeling?" asked Naruto.
Seconds later, Naruto could see that Anko was kissing him and pressing her body against his face, much to the jealousy of the Hokage.
"Great, I might have to add you to my list of girlfriends." Said Naruto rhetorically.
"Don't worry kid, this is my way of saying thanks to you. Even though it still hurts, I can barely feel it." Smiled anko.
"You are welcome. Now then, I need to do the same thing for Sasuke. Hey jiji, please bring that teme here for me." Said Naruto.
The hokage nodded and said, "Boar, bring Uchiha Sasuke here."
"Hai, Hokage-sama," said the Anbu.
"Do you think he will accept me to let the seal get blocked?" asked Naruto.
"Why wouldn't he?" the hokage said.
"You realize that he plans to kill itachi right? And do you think he will forget the power?" asked Naruto.
"I have faith in him that he will make the right choice. After all, you both have the blood of the Uchiha clan." Smiled the Hokage.
They waited for a few minutes until the Anbu appeared in the room with a pissed off Sasuke that woke up from his induced sleep.
"What the hell do you want?" asked Sasuke.
"Please sit in the middle of the scroll so that I can seal your curse mark." Answered Naruto.
"Why? I need the power to kill my brother." Stated Sasuke.
"Will you be willing to be used as a puppet so that you can kill your brother?" asked Naruto.
"Shut it! You don't know anything about me and I will gladly sacrifice my life even if it means I have to kill him." Snarled Sasuke.
"Just get your ass in the scroll. Since it is impossible for me to remove the curse seal safely without killing the host, I can suppress it in order to have the host control it better." Explained Naruto. "besides, you shouldn't use it since hosts like you can easily develop an addiction to its power."
"This was a gift from Orochimaru and I do not intend to let it go to waste." Said Sasuke.
"This might hurt a little." Said Naruto as he did the same steps for Anko and said, "Fuja hoin"
Sasuke screamed for a few minutes before he fell to the floor unconscious.
"Please take him back to his room since he must be exhausted from the mission in the forest of death." Ordered the Hokage. And with that, the Anbu picked up the raven-haired teen and left the room/
"See you all in four days" said Naruto as he left the room followed by a smiling anko.
"Kushina-san, Minato-san, you must be so proud of your son right now." Thought the Hokage as he left to prepare for the finals and the attack on Konoha.
Well that was a long chapter since it only took me less than 4 hours to write the first eight pages to wrap up the second part of the chunin exams. I was able to get gaara into the chapter for a bit since I know that Naruto will change his ideas after the invasion. Furthermore, with the cursed seals suppressed for Sasuke and Anko, perhaps orochimaru won't be able to transfer his body into the teen after all.
