One week after the incident

Humphrey's POV

I started waking up from whatever happened to me. It felt like I was asleep for years. I opened my eyes and they began to burn from the glare of the sun so I closed them tightly. I then sat up and I had an unbearable pain in my head. I had one of my paws on my forehead and the other holding me up. "Ah fuck. Ah my head." I said

"So how has Diablo's son been doing?" He asks

"I'm here because your brother came to me and told me what had happened" he explains to me "You keep surprising me Humphrey." he said with a smile

"Humphrey are you alright? What's going on?" Menendez asked as he was getting worried for me

"Look Humphrey those deaths aren't on you. Jackie is responsible for that." He said trying to comfort me.

Menendez had nothing else he could think to say to comfort me even if he did, it wouldn't have helped.

"Who are you? And how do you know my name?" I asked as I got in my defensive stance

"Really Humphrey? You don't recognize your own friends?" The biggest one said "We're hurt" the smaller wolf said

"Mooch? Shakey? Salty?" I asked

"Who else!" They all said in unison

"What the fuck happened to you guys"

"Your brother turned us because we want to help defend the pack too" Mooch said
