The Next Morning
Kate's POV
Hours after Humphrey's body was found near Howling Rock I was here at his funeral. I wasn't able to sleep at all the night of his death. The scene was just too inconceivable for words. It kept playing in my mind over and over again. Now here I am standing in front of his grave with the eviscerated body inside.
"We all know Humphrey as the fun-loving omega he once was." My father said before we officially buried Humphrey's body. "He was a kind wolf. But now he has left us and is in a better place… Now we will remember Humphrey as a friend but more importantly as our protector."
Once my father was done with his speech Lone gave the eulogy this made everyone, even our strongest Alphas cry their eyes out. Then our Alphas went to the pile of dirt near the grave and began to cover up the hole. Lone ran away as fast as he could tears streaming down his face no one saw him until later that night knuckles bleeding and red eyes from crying.
"What were you doing my?" my mom asked
"Punching rocks and boulders" he said nonchalantly like it was a normal thing for him.
They looked at him with mouths agape
"What? You punch rocks and boulders?"
"Yes how else did you think I trained in Alaska"
"Well we thought you fought other wolves" I said
"No I trained like an alpha in my werewolf form I would punch rocks and now I can do this"
*crack*
He broke a piece of rock off of the den turns to where no one was an throws it and throws a punch breaking it in half then he kicked a piece it flew into the forest.
Random very old wolf POV
I was walking through the woods trying to find something to eat when I heard a strange cracking sound "What's that sound?" *look up* "Shit"
*Crash*
Back to the united pack
Lone's POV
"Wow" Kate said in amazement
I then throw another rock up and snap kicks it breaking it into dust "Thats how I roll"
"Okay but there is one problem left that we have to deal with" Eve said "What do we do about Diablo? The full moon is now six days away and one of your main assets is dead and the other is working with Diablo."
"Shit" I said "I can't go in without Humphrey, none of the others trust me" I explained 'Humphrey you better make an agreement fast before I have to fight on two fronts' I thought exasperatedly
"Well I'm sure one of Humphrey's friends would join you" Eve said as she sat down and began to think which one of Humphrey's friends would fit for the job.
"I know Humphrey's friends but I'm talking about the others who have been werewolfs for a longer time. I said to Eve getting a little frustrated
"Oh sorry" Eve said realizing
"No problem" I said "But who is are we going to trust to help us with Diablo?'
"I will" A voice said which sounded like it was coming behind me
I turned around my eyes went wide to see that Menendez was the one who said it "You will?!"
"Yes! I can no other valiant way to redeem any wrong I did then to help kill the man who killed my daughter and granddaughter and now my grandson" He said with anger in his voice
"Wait...WHAT!" Lone yelled as he couldn't believe what Menendez had told him
"Yes I am your grandfather Lone"
"But how I saw my grandfather die when I accidently turned and killed him"
"That was someone else that you thought that it was me." He said slowly "That was-
"Let me guess" I interrupted him "One of my father's lackies pretending to be my grandfather to betray and possibly kill me. Am I right?" I asked
"Yeah… pretty much" He said as he chuckled "You grew into a fine young wolf Lone"
"Werewolf, grandpa werewolf" I said with a lot of amusement in my voice
"Huh… grandpa… gotta get used to that" He said as he chuckled
"Well now we need to find someone who can replace that bitch Nikki's spot" I said with an annoyed voice
"I think I have just the wolf for the job." Menendez said looking at me with a bemused smile
"Who grandpa?" I asked with a confused look
"Her" he said pointing to my soon to be wife Mary.
"My fiance?" I asked
"Yes. She has a pure soul to obtain the strength to help take out Diablo" Menendez explained
"I have a pure soul?" How do you know if it is pure or not?" Mary asked walking into our conversation
"I can tell because you truly love Lone with so much passion it hurts when he is away from you" Mary blushed at what Menendez said and I blushed a little bit too, but not too much that anybody can see it.
I decided to see how much she loved me I kissed her cheek and she turned beet red. Everyone started laughing and then she payed me back by kissing me on the lips I turned red this time.
"Ok ok guys not in front of me" said Menendez
"Why not" I said still blushing madly. Menendez just looked at me with 'really?' look
I laughed "Okay we will stop"
"Mary are you ready" I asked turning with the black mist that surrounds me. She nods and braces for pain "What are you doing?" I ask with a confused look
"Don't you have to bite me?"
"No!" I said with a light chuckle in my voice "That is only if the wolf does not want to get turned like my father did to me and Humphrey. When the wolf is okay with it then I can just prick your arm and and you will be able to turn when angered just keep control because Menendez here will have to do something."
"Like what?" She asks
"You will know soon" Menendez said with a calming voice.
"You ready?" I asked
"Yeah..." She said and I pricked her arm with my teeth. She winced in pain but the pain soon left and she began to turn. After she turned into a werewolf she turned towards Menendez. "I'm ready for the next step" she said in her own demonic voice.
"Follow me" Menendez said as he signaled her with his tail to follow. Menendez went down the slope with Mary following him closely. I went to the edge of the slope so I could see where they were going "We have to make a bond fire to do the next step" I heard him say.
"Okay." She said willingly and soon they both were out of sight after going through the thick dark woods
"Now to call the others" I sighed and lifted my muzzle into the air and howled. The howl was loud mournful but had the command to come in it.
A couple hours later...
Felix and Cathy made it to the place where Me, Kate, Mary, and Eve was which is Humphrey's den "Yes Lone you called us?" Cathy said
"Yes I did" I said "We found out who the traitor is but we were too late to save Humphrey"
"What!" they both said with surprise and confusion
"You mean he's…" Cathy said as she had tears forming in her eyes
Kate was close to tears and ran away. Eve ran after her to calm her down while me and Mary talked to Felix and Cathy. Felix moved closer to Cathy trying to comfort her.
"So who is the traitor?" Felix asked with his anger to the highest degree while he was holding Cathy close to him.
"Well it was Nikki she "took" away Kate, then she killed Humphrey and threw his body down from the cliff" I said "His mutilated corpse landed in front of all of us.
"Great now we are the only ones-
I held my hand up to stop Felix "I turned Humphreys friends and my fiance into Werewolves now. Menendez came and helped Mary gain the new power." I said as Felix's and Cathy's eyes went wide of surprisement"But we are missing water and we will have to live without it and fight Diablo without Humphrey" we bowed our heads "Fuck" I said in anger
I heard footsteps coming from outside. They were getting closer and closer. I thought it was Menendez coming to the den with some sort of plan but when a black wolf came into the mouth of the den I became murderous "YOU!" I snarled as I pointed to the wolf in front of me "What are you doing here!"
"I-I…" He stuttered
"You son of a bitch I'll kill you!" I snarled as I was going to leap towards him and aimed my claws for his jugular.
But Felix and Cathy stopped me "Let the bastard speak then you can rip him limb from limb" they said
"Alright" I growled and calmed down "But as soon as you're done I won't hesitate to fucking slit your throat... Blake"
"I came here for a reason. You think I would just walk in here randomly without some sort of reason?" Blake said
"You're wasting my time" I said with anger in my voice. I wanted to kill him so bad but I held back from annihilating him.
"I came here to help"
"What!?" I yelled "You really think we're going to let you help us after what you have done to me and especially to Humphrey!"
"Wait before you kill me I have to tell you I am Diablo's second and I know all of plans also I have been replaced" Blake growled and spit on the ground angrily "I know you want Nikki" he growled
"Yes I do. "But I hope you know what you are doing Blake"
He nodded "I want Nikki dead but Diablo has to go too"
We all nodded "We will let you help but one foot out of line I rip your Goddamn organs out got it" I said threateningly
He nodded vigorously with fear in his eyes
"Well what now? We have two shadows, one earth, one fire, and one air but still no water goddamn we are fucked!" Felix shouted angrily
"Felix one we are not fucked, two..." I said pointing to Blake "Blake and I can make doubles of ourselves to give you time to get out of sticky situations and we can literally disappear so just calm down" I said disappearing and reappearing next to him
"Ahh!" He screamed freaked out because I was next to him we all laughed for a pretty good amount of time.
"Soon we will destroy the man who destroyed our family" I said seriousness returning
They nodded we all said a silent prayer to Humphrey and the Wolf God for victory.

Lone: You guys suck Hybrid. I hate you, you kill off my brother and don't bring him back in the next chapter
Hybrid: Give it a rest Lone. God you make me will kill you Lone! Shut the fuck up!
Lone: Okay shutting up
