Chapter 6: A New Foe
Many Galxys away, a powerful force stirrs in the middle of the night. With a start Artic woke up from a horrible dream. Frowning, she decides to visit her mother, Hydra to discuss her dream. Throwing off her blanket, she jumps out of bed and clothes herself in some of the Sayins Royal uniform. Artic glimpses herself in the mirror, making a few adjustments to her hair she studies her image. Standing at 6'3 ft she is easily twice her size of her older brother, she has beautiful long purlple wavy hair that comes down to her waistline. Her reptilian tail has been removed since birth, a sign of her gender from her planet, stating that she is considered beneath the male population. Artic has always hated being considered infererior simply because she was female. So in order to silence even the most smug, she has trained her entire life in order to prove that she is superior in every way that counts. As a finishing touch, she places her golden pink tiara on her head to complete her atire. Frowning, Artic can't help but despise having to wear such a hideos color. However it was the family crests colors, and that of her father and older brothers armor, so the colors must be worn with pride. "Bleevus!" Artic shouts for her servant. "Yes Princess Artic?" entering her room, Bleevus keeps his eyes downcast as a show of respect for it is forbiden to lay eyes upon the Princess without her fathers permission. Artic asks "Where is my mother?" "Queen Hydra is in the throne room. She is currently conducting business with the Kings Admiral. News has finally reached us on his wherabouts." Bleevus then holds the door open for her as she races to the throne room without another word.
*FINALLY! Word from Father and Brother!* Artic makes it to the throne room in record time. She skided to a halt shortly before running directly into the Admiral as he was leaving the room. "Admiral! What news to you bring?" looking downcast, whether in respect or from shame she couldn't tell, he replied "I'm sorry Princess, but i have been instructed not to mention anything to you. The Queen would like a word with you." The admiral then continued on, shoulders slumped and with a heavy slouch to his stance that has never been there before. Confused, Artic then goes into the throne room where she finds her mother slumped over in her her throne chair, one arm clawing at the kings seat. A sense of doom begins to wash over Artic as she slowly creeps up to her mother, with a tremble in her voice Artic asks her mother "Mother, what has become of Father and Big Brother?"
Queen Hydra, once considered the most beautiful of all females accross the Galaxy, was looking 20yrs older then her age. Her skin is a deep burgendy, with the same purple hair as Artic, with golden specks accross her face signifying her status amongst her clan. Her eyes were normaly a soft golden brown with a tint of pink, yet now here eyes are a fiery red so fierce that Artic had to take a step back. She has NEVER seen her mother so furious before in her life! "Artic! I have just been told that your father and BOTH of your elder brothers have been defeated in battle! Worse yet, they have been defeated by those good for nothing, rotting space monkeys! They have been dead now for many years, but word has just now reached us through the Admiral Grangol." Artic inhales sharply, a look of absolute dismay creeps accross her face "Who? Who was able to destroy the most powerful beings in the Galaxy? How could a Sayin have done this? Big Brother has destroyed their planet after having already enslaved the entire race before then. I don't understand how this could possibly be..." Hydra slammed her fist into her daughters face, sending her flying accross the room before she could even finish her sentence. "QUIT YOUR SNIFFLING WHINING QUESTIONING! YOUR BROTHERS WOULDN'T BE STANDING HERE COMPLAINING! THEY WOULD BE PLOTTING THEIR REFENGE!"
Artic, being shamed by her mother, stands up and wipes away the small streak of blood from the corner of her mouth. *She's right! they would be getting ready to deploy and attack of such magnatude that would send fear into the far reaches of the galaxy!* Artic pulls her self up and stands tall and proud. "Your absolutely right mother. I shall begin training at once! Bleevus! Send word to all the officers to begin their search for the remaining Sayins! I want to know the location of every single one of them!" "yes your majesty" Bleevus immediately scurries to spread the order. "Mother, i swear to you that i shall not rest until every single Sayin is destroyed!" Artic declares, she slashes her hand "I SWEAR SO BY THE BLOOD OF MY FATHER KING COLD! I WILL AVENGE THE DEATHS OF MY FATHER, AND MY BROTHERS FREEZA AND COOLER!"
Queen Hydra nods her head, accepting her daughters oath, with pride.
10 years have passed since Artic has begun her training. She has now far exceeded her father and brothers in strenght and agility. She has been studying military tactics from wars long since pased, strengthening her mind as well in order to be able to strategies her battle plans when the time for revenge occurs.
As of now, she is currently in the visual effects room figting agains 1000 nemesises when all of a sudden Bleevus comes charging into the room, interrupting her session mid blast. "BLEEVUS! HOW MANY TIMES MUST I TELL YOU NOT TO INTERUPT ME WHILE I AM TRAINING?" Artic shouts while preparing to throw a energy ball at Bleevus. "Please forgive me, Princess Artic. But i bring news! Queen Hydra sends word that the remaining Sayins have been found! They have made themselves a new home on a planet called Earth. there currently appears to be 4 Sayins, 2 of which are half breed. however, there is also a smaller sayin on the planet of Namek."
Artic considers the new information, "Where was it that Father and Freeza were when they were destroyed?" "Earth Princess Artic"
"Then Earth is where we will be heading to. We can return for the weakling on Namek another time. The ones responsible for my familys sorrow are on Earth, so that is where we shall go. And once we have killed those filthy space monkeys, we shall destroy the planet! GO! Prepare our departure! i want to be leaving as soon as possible!" Bowing deeply, Bleevus sets out to prepare the long journey.
Elsewhere:
On planet Kai, King Kai awakes with a start from his nap. *whats this? i feel an evil presence! one that is far worse then any we have yet come across! i must inform Goku and the others! they have to get ready once again to defend the earth!*
Kamis lookout has become very crowded, very quickly. Dende is not used to so many people being there anymore. Since arriving on the planet as a young child, it has mainly just been him and Mr Popo over the years. Now he looks around and is surrounded by Goku, Gohan, Goten, Piccolo, Krillin and Yamcha.
"What brings you all here? Could it be you are worried about the strong Ki that has landed here on earth?" Everyone just nods. Goku decides to speak up "Dende we are concerned. Since the othe day, we have not been able to sense the strong ki. we don't know who has landed on Earth, what their intentions are, if they are friendly or foes. NOTHING! it is driving us all insane! we have fought so hard since Cell to start over. we don't want to see our efforts gone to waste."
Again, everyone just nods. "Hmmm yes i can understand why you would be concerned. However, i too have little to no informationa bout our newest arrival. I do know, that the person in question was last spotted near Vegetas neck of the woods. has anyone been in touch with him recently?" Gohan thinks about when he has last spoken to the annoying "Prince" and he can honestly say that he can't recall. He then speaks up "No, i don't believe anyone here has been in touch with him in quite some time. Vegeta isn't exactly and easy personn to get along with. But i suppose we should have a little chat with him, especially since the entitiy has clearly been close to his region. Dad, i think it would be best if Goten and i go. I can say that we just wanted a little play date with little Trunks, and while i'm there i can ask Bulma and Vegeta if they know of anything." Goku blinks a few times, slightly confused. But then he realized that he wouldn't have to deal with Vegeta, so he gave his famous smile and thumbs up before declaring that him and the others would then be practicing with Mr. Popo till they return.
With a new mission, Gohan and Goten speed off in the direction of Capsule Corp. Goten is eager to actually get to play with Trunks and possibly Bra, whom he finds rather cute yet annoying. Gohan however can only think of one thing, Who is this new stranger and what does he want?
