Hello again and this is Riku SAM Jamillion. This wouldn't be a official chapter and be more of a set up for the season 1 finale.
Symbolic Joker: It's because he was planning for this scene to be in the last chapter, and I was like; "Do as you wish. The last chapter is fine without this scene and I believe that a little prelude chapters of what's to come helps with the story build up" So yeah, because of that you guys got this.
Seems like shit hit the fan in the RWBY verse eh?
Symbolic Joker: Yup. And apparently we still got two more Volumes left by Monty before RWBY is either called quits or continued without him in honour of his memory. I wonder what Monty got planned… ? … And, I just realised that both Kamen Rider and RWBY lost their creators, Ishinomori for KR, Monty Oum for RWBY. Maybe that's why I'm constantly writing KR/RWBY crossover ideas.
Disclaimer: Neither Riku Sam Jamillion nor Symbolic Joker own RWBY or Kamen Rider. They belong to their respective owners.
Interlude: The Calm Before The Storm
"You know, you really shouldn't be here. Don't you have your own world to take care of, Kazaruba Kouta?"
Standing on top of one of Beacon's many towers, DJ Sagara approached the white armoured being who had evolved into something beyond Human. However, he was apparently ignored by this being named Kazuraba Kouta, who continued to observe someone from afar.
That someone being an old friend and a rival in many aspects.
He continued to watch his fiercest rival training a few select members of the next generation of this remnant of a world, whereas his beloved was far far away, busy with other matters that were better left unmentioned at the moment.
As Kouta looked on at Kaito training the people who would be the successors of their respective Armored Rider personas, a warm smile graced his face.
Kaito… had changed.
Little as it might be, Kumon Kaito was slowly starting to change from the man he was due to being around the kids in Beacon. Perhaps, one day, Kaito might stop being the grumpy banana knight Kouta had fought with and fought against.
Perhaps… Jaune Arc had what it takes to win the war for the Golden Fruit without having to commit what Kouta did.
It was one of his many regrets, how the war for the Golden Fruit on Earth had ended the way it did. Kouta laments that it was because that he and Kaito shared that stubborn will to stay true to their beliefs, and never surrender to whatever was thrown at them.
Their ideals… were merely two sides of the same coin. Kouta's was on the side of light, Kaito's was on the side of darkness.
They also shared many other similar qualities, which served as further prove that Kouta and Kaito weren't so different from each other despite their initial beliefs.
So it was only reasonable that Kouta did not enjoy doing what he had to do to win the Golden Fruit.
And… Kouta believed that had Kaito won that fateful battle, he too would regret. He too would mourn the loss of his closest friend.
"You know why I'm really here." Kouta finall responded to Sagara. "As the winner of the last Golden Fruit, I can't have a problem originating from the last… game, interfering with this one, right?" Kouta hesitated for a moment, to swallow the disgust he felt at referring the war for the Golden Fruit as a 'game'.
Because that was what it was to Sagara, a game. The targeted world was the board, while it's residents were the players and pieces.
"You know, he didn't originally came from Earth. He is of the Femushinmu, if an artificially created one." Sagara wistfully noted. "He should be Rosyuo's problem."
"You're right. He should." Kouta acknowledge. "However, Rosyuo isn't among us anymore, and as his direct successor as the Man of Beginning, the duty should befall of me, should it not?" Kouta rhetorically said, with Sagara acknowledging it.
"He's a lot tougher than I expected." Kouta noted to himself. "Even after every defeat, he still managed to hang on… ."
"He might be a rotten fruit painted gold, but his spirit is quite strong." Sagara acknowledged his strength as well. "Well, I suppose we can expect that, at least, from an artificial Golden Fruit." He wistfully noted again.
"Don't worry, Sagara." Kouta said for the sake of saying it, knowing full well that Sagara could care less on what happens next. He knew Kouta would never interfere, for he would never allow it.
The game wouldn't be fair, after all.
"I'm not going to interfere with the fight for the fruit directly." Kouta gave the verbal reassuring that Sagara never needed in the first place. As the producer of the Golden Fruit, Sagara was connected to his chosen in many ways. "After all, you and I have different ways of handling things."
The two stared at each other for the moment, before suddenly turned their heads to look at the horizon.
Because at that very moment, they had sense something awakening in the land.
Something very powerful.
Something that was very hungry for blood.
Something that can even rival Kumon Kaito of the present and the Femushinmu Overlords in terms of raw power.
It wasn't the being they were talking about. But they acknowledged that whoever or whatever just awoken, it had became a major player in the upcoming battle for the Golden Fruit.
"You can sense it, right?" Sagara rhetorically asked, knowing full well Kouta had sense what he had sense. And it made him feel… excited. Remnant was unlike many of the other worlds he had bestowed his power to. It was filled with two unique species that was unlike any other, amongst other things that were hidden the shadows.
He was looking forward to see their evolution. In actuality, he already seen one of said evolutions.
"Who would've thought this remnant of a world could be so interesting?" Sagara voiced his thoughts. "With it's own little secrets and powers that even I have never seen before." Coming from Sagara, who had been travelling all over the universe and now other dimensions, it only goes to show how small and insignificant the people in the entire… omniverse, were.
"Take care, Kazuraba Kouta. Out of all the winners of the Golden Fruit, you will always be the most interesting to me." Sagara admitted with a laugh before he suddenly flickered away, revealing that he was merely a hologram.
Kouta stayed on the tower for a moment, as he stared his rival and one of his closest friends, before he too disappeared.
Just who would obtain the Golden Fruit this time?
"Hey Gust? Do you ever wonder why we're here?"
In an undisclosed location, two White Fang soldiers were currently standing guard in front of a door. They were currently on a train heading towards Vale, filled to the brim with White Fang soldiers to ensure that the really valuable item that were guarding didn't fall to anyone else's hands.
The Faunus the question was directed to, named Gust apparently, turned to his partner in guard-duty to look at him for a moment before turning his attention back to the boring same old sight in front of him.
Guard-duty was only for those with a solid-mind to fulfil their duty.
Something that most people, be they Human or Faunus, did not possess.
"Well Bern, it's one of life's great mysteries isn't it?" Gust let out, before continuing. "Why are we here? I mean, are we just product of some cosmic coincidence? Or is there a really a God, watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff." He rhetorically said, before finishing. "I don't know man, but it keeps me up at night."
A brief silence developed between the two of them, as the other White Fang soldier who asked the question, Bern was his name, stared at his partner, completely dumbfounded, before snapping.
"What?! No!" He said, realising that his partner didn't understand what he meant when he asked the question. "I meant why are we in this train guarding this new Driver?!" He cried out. "The higher ups decides that it was a good idea to just send the two of us and a platoon of men to guard this belt?! It's almost like they're asking for trouble!"
"O-Oh… ." Gust stuttered, completely embarrassed at how he spilled his deepest thoughts to his partner due to a misunderstanding. "Uh… me too." He lied lamely.
The two was engulfed in silence again as they stood with an uncomfortable atmosphere hanging over their heads.
"Want to talk about it?" Bern offered.
"No." Gust said flatly.
The two stayed in uncomfortable silence again, before Bern decided to continue his earlier rant to get rid of it.
"Anyway, what if an experience Hunter from Beacon suddenly attacks this train and steals the belt? I don't want someone with powers like Captain Zangetsu to come after us, you know?"
"Relax. We got some of the best White Fang veterans on this train with us. Plus, this is the most secret passageway to Vale that only we know of. What can possibly go… ."
The moment Gust tempted fate, the door was kicked open by someone through the use of a body belonging to one of their 'veteran' members as if they were rag dolls.
The two grunts were stunned, as they turned around to see the sight of a black haired man with red eyes in a. In his other hand was a flask, explaining why the man was reeking of alcohol.
The man looked at the two of them with a slur, before letting out a drunk chuckle.
"Man, seriously?" He continued to chuckle, apparently finding in this situation funny. "A device that can change the landscape and the White Fang only called in you two numbnuts to guard it?" He let out grin that only goes to show how drunk he was. "It's really ain't your day, is it? How about you guys go jump off this train right now and I spare you an asskicking?"
"Identify yourself!"
The two grunts aimed their weapons at the drunk man, who look like he could barely stand as he let out a finger and wagged it at them as if he was talking to children. One of the grunts sounded the alarm, and within a few seconds they now stood alongside a squad of White Fang members.
The drunk man remained unfazed even when he was surrounded from the front and back.
"Wrong answer." The drunk man said, looking surprisingly serious and sober at the moment as it looked like his red eyes were glowing for a brief moment. "Still, it's about time that I test this new bad boy out anyway. Ozpin would probably ask me how this works, sooner or later. So, how about a test run?" The drunk man cockily asked as he reached out to his back to take out something.
To the White Fang members surprise, the man had took out a Lockseed and a Sengoku Driver. When they realize what he was about to do, it's was already too late. A guitar riff sound plays and the next thing they saw was a rib-like structure complete with a skeleton protected the man from their dust bullets.
The structure soon merged with the man in hellish black smoke, bestowing him in a suit of armour that was far too similar to the Grimm. The only thing missing was the red eyes and tribal markings. However, the armour had a gold headcrest at the helmet, and the designs of the gauntlets and grieves made it clear that this was an Armored Rider in front of them, not a humanoid Grimm.
The hellish black sword wasn't really helping the image, however.
FIFTEEN!
That was the Lockseed's announcement when it was unlocked. But unlike the other Lockseeds, it made no chant. Only ghastly orchestra music that made it clear that the Armored Rider in front of them was no pushoever.
The belt of Kamen Rider Fifteen had found itself a new owner.
"Heh. Looks like you mooks are about to have a bad day." Fifteen smirked underneath his helmet as he placed his large hellish sword over his shoulder.
When you've been with the White Fang for so long, you tend to pick up a thing or two.
Even though Tukson's combat skills were were nowhere near Adam Taurus's or the previous leader's, he still prided himself as a veteran as he managed to sneak in this warehouse the White Fang were using as a hideout without being spotted by anyone.
It was really easy per say, considering that almost every Faunus in existence have night vision. But where the kids have fancy new toys, Tukson had years of experience.
That and the dumbass kids didn't seem to find anything wrong when a fellow Faunus walked into the hideout with a White Fang mask over his face.
Like a ninja.
As Tukson head toward the location of the package, he spotted Roman Torchwick and some woman he never seen before. He quickly scurried to find a hiding place so he may eavesdrop on the conversation. However, the best he could get was on top of a few boxes.
"Damn, Cinder. I got to say I'm impressed you've already gotten your hands on all these Genesis Drivers already. Their output is a lot stronger than the Sengoku Drivers that animal and those kids from Beacon been using." Roman admitted as he stared the briefcases holding the Genesis Drivers and their respective Energy Lockseeds. He was quite impressed with how many of them existed and it would seem that Cinder had gotten her hands on all of them.
"But I got to ask… what exactly is your end goal here? We got a shit ton of Lockseeds, weapons, and men. Hell, I daresay we got enough fire power to destroy Vale. So what's the hold up? Why are you still so afraid of Beacon and its brats?" Roman prodded the lioness for answers. Hey, he wasn't going to run around like a headless chicken doing errands for her, only to find out that she was going to kill him in the end.
Whatever this damn woman was planning, Roman had to make sure he survives at the end of it.
"All in good time, Roman." Cinder said, with the ever so constant sultry voice of hers. "Sometimes to effectively snuff out the light, you have to have patience. Besides, I have a trump card hidden up my sleeves, waiting to be use at the right moment." And there was her mysterious smile that would make most men swoons.
Roman was pretty sure on who was going to be in the animals' wet dreams tonight. If only it happened in reality… Roman was sure he would get a kick out of the face Cinder would make during the act. And her reaction to it after all is said and done.
Tukson continued to watch the two, as they approached a briefcase and opening it up. The content consists of a mainly red belt that was far different in design compared to a Sengoku Driver, and placed next to it was a Lemon Lockseed that had a light blue almost transparent casing unlike the normal Lockseeds opaque casing.
That was a type of Lockseed Tukson had never seen before. Judging from what he had just heard, the belt was most likely what Roman called the "Genesis Driver". And Tukson could put two and two together to realise that this Genesis Driver uses a different type of Lockseed than the standard ones.
Either way it was bad news. Adam was powerful enough without his Sengoku Driver. The man was next to unstoppable ever since he got it. What would happen if the White Fang have belts that are apparently even more powerful than the Sengoku Drivers?
But what can Tukson do? Go down there and try to take the belt right now? He'd be shot dead before he can even make it out of the harbor.
As Tukson continued to eavesdrop on the conversation, he spotted a Locust trying to fly towards him, which he sliced in half with his claws before it got too close. However, that seem to alert the woman called Cinder, for some reason, as she stopped walking and turned to where Tukson was at.
She… was a Human, right? There's no way she can see in the dark… .
Tukson soon got his answer as the woman threw a fireball at him. Forced out of his hiding place, Tukson made a run for it as every White Fang members around the area were alerted to where he's at.
"Kill the traitor!"
They fired their assault rifle once Tukson got out of the warehouse as there were too many enemies between him and the city. He could try and transform right now, but he doesn't want to run the risk of fighting someone with a belt that surpasses his Sengoku Driver. Meaning there's only one way to get out of this alive… .
Tukson jumped into for the sea as the rest of the White Fang began to fire everything they had at him until their guns clicked, signifying that they had emptied their clips and needed to reload if they wished to continue shooting down at the water. Roman walked out the hole that was caused by Cinder as he look at the mess that was just created.
Goddamn animals.
"You know? While I can have some of my moles in the police department cover this up, what are you going to do about the Faunus that just got away? He just might alert the Huntsmen, you know?"
Cinder looked at the scene of the carnage as she spotted the escaping Faunus, who didn't get out of this unscratched. She simply smirked as a swarm of Locust fly out of the warehouse and into the night.
What that Faunus just did... he did not changed Cinder plans in terms of the grand scheme of things.
"He wouldn't without outing himself as a member of the White Fang, and we all known how Vale treats its Faunus terrorists, don't we? Let them try and come. I have a surprise waiting for them."
Symbolic Joker: Special thanks to StrangerDenB4 for taking the time out of his life to help out! Seriously, considering my track record; it'll be a miracle if the next few chapters doesn't contain a special thanks/mention to another Author.
