Chapter 7

"Uhm...quick question," Jamie spoke up. Hiccup, Kura and Sakura looked over. Looking at the two older females, Jamie continued his question, "can I call you something to make this less confusing? Sakura and Kura are pretty close..."

"Zahra," Sakura murmured, "my real name is Zahra Re (*pronounced "Ray"*)."

Jamie smiled and nodded. Zahra and Kura. Okay.

Zahra smiled gently at the boy, reaching over to ruffle his hair.

Hiccup smiled a bit as well before turning back to the screen. The Frost Fury was beautiful. Its iridescent scales went from white to pale shades of blue in every photo. It seemed to be a bit smaller than Toothless was, but not by much.

He kept on flicking through the photos, though his thoughts remained on the two girls. Kura and the now renamed Zahra. In all honesty, he thought the name Zahra sounded familiar. But he couldn't exactly recall when he heard it, if they were the same person, or if he misheard it the first time.

The two girls seemed normal enough. Above average height, long and short dark hair, blue eyes that were tinted with another color, tanned skin, one being much lighter than the other.

Nothing really stood out other than their magic, which he saw first hand. And it seemed pretty powerful.

He also wondered how much trust and loyalty ran between the two, if Zahra seemed to be the one who took control of the overall decisions they made. From having Kura leave during their first encounter, to being the one to say no to joining the Guardians, and Kura not arguing it. And then there was her name. Did she forget it and not learn until recently? Or was there a point when Kura and "Sakura" weren't two separate people?

And he couldn't forget the forest. Why did she pick Jack? He didn't understand why, there was a dragon there, Merida had a visible weapon...why Jack? Sure, he was winter, but the attacks they made via him seemed, weak. Maybe that's why? Jack was a warning from them and not a weapon? Maybe...

Sighing, he turned to look at the others in the crowded room. He shook his head and gawked at the two girls. Okay, when did they leave and change clothes, and hair in Kura's case, or was he just slower than he thought?

Zahra wore all black and dark grays. Most of her skin was showing, with her clothes consisting of a black crop top, slightly puffed out shorts, dark gray combat boots, two belts, one around her shorts and one in the middle of her chest.

Kura, on the other hand, had long silver hair in a thick, loose, braid. She had a white dress just seemed to flow around her, her feet bare except for the odd piece of gold jewelry she wore here and there.

The two didn't have the band and choker on though, did they take them off? Did they lose them?

Anyways, it seemed more fitting honestly. Like, he could clearly see who they were. Opposites of each other. Kura was light and Zahra was darkness.

Merida looked over Hiccup's shoulder at the photos and let out a silent whistle. The dragons were impressive. Not that she would ever admit that. She was still a horse person, but she could appreciate a dragon or two here and there.

She looked over at Rapunzel, who had taken to the other girls seemingly easily. The blonde was talking with Kura, and it honestly seemed as if the two had become the best of friends. And it wouldn't be surprising if that were the case.

Kura admitted to being light. Rapunzel was one of the brightest people Merida had come to know. Someone very bright becoming friends with someone who was light, wasn't as shocking as she would have thought, even if her...partner? was her complete opposite.

She took a glance at Zahra, the dark haired girl stood close to Kura, but keeping her gaze on the young boy before her.

Jamie was something special. The first to believe in...well, all of them. The ten year old was also their strongest believer. He was their little brother, someone they all cared about and would visit on a daily basis if they could.

And it seemed Zahra picked up their habit.

"I say we look for them," Hiccup said standing up.

"Okay then," Zahra shrugged, "but you'll need us if you want a good chance of leaving those woods."

Hiccup frowned, but sighed. He knew he was hoping too much at a chance of going with only his fellow seasons. But this was probably for the best...

Kura: How long has it been?

Zahra: Since we've updated this story or...

Kura: We've considered putting out our origin story. You know, for the GMAD...

Zahra:...I don't know. It's been so long, I mean, I'm going by real name now. We both completely change appearance when we let our powers completely consume us. You came out as an panace, I'm a polyamorous pansexual demiromantic-

Kura: I still find that tidbit kinda weird, I can't picture you with several relationships, but I love ya.

Zahra: I love you too.

Kura: Do you think it's time our story came out?

Zahra: Perhaps, but is this the place you want it to be told?

Kura: I...I honestly don't know...I stopped writing for a year or two, roughly, and people still like what I come up with. But with so many of them just...not finished, I'm not sure if this is the best place to share our story. Maybe, once I finish a story or two-

Zahra: Or ten.

Kura: *pouts*

Zahra: Hmm...we can always come back to this hon, anyways, leave a review-

Kura: -if you liked the chapter. Or if you want to see our origin story. *leans into Zahra* I love you.

Zahra: *wraps her arms Kura* I love you too, hon.
